Just rude, bad customer service. Takes all day, I went somewhere else got my uhaul truck & was in & out
No stars. If you want to get in and out and receive courtesy, go somewhere else. Terrible experience from this U-Haul location.

Whoever the guy is thats answering the phone today (5-21-17) needs to learn to not cut the customer off when they call to ask questions, slow down when speaking, and offer the customer a chance to respond or ask additional questions when giving information and pricing details. Customer service 101. Ill try to have a better rating and review next time.
Be aware if youre not African American dont even step a foot in that location because no one is going to give you service there general manager craig is horrible does not know anything about costumer service if i can give this place a zero star i would they are not helpful at all and they hang up on you every time you call
I reserved my truck online. The staff was friendly and informative. Overall great experience.

Went to get hitch installed (i had hitch) , Craig jordan was the one who took care, he promised would be done in one hour and as said he charged $65 an hour labour charge.. i enquired outside before i approached uhal everyone was charging flat $100 just for installation.. this place is best to get ur hitch installed, especially with Jordan.. while i waited saw jordan speaking with others very impressed with the way he manages this place.. definitely recommend this place...
The assistant manager up here is very disrespectful. I was locked in the store while he went to a grocery store to get snacks. He put a block on my name for no reason and when I called customer service he disrespected them to. Customer service solved my problem.
I did an online reservation to pick up a 26 U-Haul truck at this location. I had this reservation for 4 days. when I showed up to pick it up they told they have no trucks available for me in that size and that theres nothing they can do. I saw the same size truck was parked in that location, I asked the manger for the first time he said that is full. I came back and I asked him again if that truck will be available soon he said thats about to load and going to different state. Im sure that was mine and he just gave it to someone else. also he canceled my reservation which he is not supposed to do that. I supposed to get the truck on Friday and drop off in different state on Sunday, but I couldnt find any of 26 or 20 size truck on Friday in all over Michigan state, so I got to wait until Monday to get one. he just screwed my time and my schedule. I will never ever go back to this location in Joy rd

The manager is a decent dude and does his job. I think the man is a great manager. Dealt with him twice personally. Hes efficient but his computer is slow.

I rented a U-Haul through the U-Haul website for pick up here, show up to pick it up and told they have no trucks available and that theres nothing they can do. They blamed customer service and said their manager is out of town. They had to have known there was an upcoming reservation and didnt bother to call me to tell me. Whatever you do, dont use this place!
Customer service is not friendly but did get the job done. Equipment faulty but was able to fix on the road.

Rude, Incompetent, and argumentative.Uhaul should have enough experience to ask a customer, do you have a reservation for truck or storage? Uhaul; your employee told me that he could not look up my reservation#Unprofessionalism, this guy got mad, walked off and never came back. October 5, 2020 8:30 a.m. Told me I was making his day hard! I just wanted a storage for my reservation#

I arrived at 5:01 a minute later for the general manager to shove me out the door, putting his hand on me. Unprofessional as a general manager. Very very disrespectful, the young girls in there staff were really nice they accepted to cash me out for only I needed 2 boxes. And he comes in the door angry shoving me out like Im a door to close or something! Amazing how staff that arent experienced in managing are more professional then managers their self. Uhaul, I have one thing to say please check and review your employees before accepting them as a manager. I was feared for my life, also as of 03/24/19 - I dont advise anyone to come to this Uhaul if that manager is there you should fear him as he does not care to put his hand on customers like theres no law. If I could 0 stars for the most of this location. Because treating customers #1 is the main reason we go to stores and business. But this manager has no respect to customers!

Zero star is what I would rate this experience. I went to return a trailer I rented from Utah to Michigan. The WORST location I have seen in any type of business, its rotten from the head down.CRAIG should be fired along with the staff and this branch should shut down.RUDE, RACIST AND A NARSASIT MANAGER. Dont bother to call the hotline theyre not helpful either.

Went to return my UHAUL rentail and I was helped by Craig. He had a really bad attitude to a point were he was cursing at his coworkers infront of everyone because he was busy. Very unprofessional. A customer service training session from Uhaul would be ideal.

2022-03-17I gave 3 stars because they gave me a truck that had doors that I had to slam really hard d 3 or 4 times before it would stay closed. I drove off with it because it was a busy day, snowing hard, and just wasnt thinking after getting it. The insurance was pushed on me, I wasnt given a choice like the other locations give me. One employee was very helpful though, I think he said his name was Richard James Brown, and I remembered it because of James Brown, lol. He was really helpful!!!

2022-05-13Drove 30 minutes to this uhaul, now I know why this uhaul was the only place that had equipment I needed instead of my closer locations. Terrible and I mean terrible customer service!!! Never will I ever come back to this place!

2022-05-21The front desk associate provided me with incorrect information and advised that I would be charged additional fees that did not apply to me. When I asked him to clarify said fees he completely disregarded the contract and advised me to call corporate. Once the manager of the location became available he corrected the associate but at that point I had wasted an hour of my day due to your employees lack of reading comprehension.

2022-04-28Yes I visit this place a couple days ago and then they have actually no Parkfront so when I get the office spoke with the lady as well as the manager from inside he was screaming in on respectable people at all so I just leave the place stop give him the business it’s a bad people I don’t recommend definitely thank you

2021-10-28Major safety issue with the truck. Front right tire almost flat, engine oil low (dash light the whole time), headlights way out of adjustment. I literally could not see the road. Just a bad bad truck. The truck was never inspected for safety before I picked it up and it’s maintenance is not up to date. I will not rent another U-Haul truck and will seek other companies with newer trucks.

2021-12-15The power was out at the main building and was directed to go across the street after getting out the car and parking. The one rep was standing there the whole time and should have redirected traffic when pulling into the lot instead of allowing customers to park and get out of the car.Then, once I went across the street, the rep was less than customer friendly. He kept saying that I needed to go online to check out but was not providing any guidance. His demeanor was very non chalant and only said the minimum when asked a question. Just wasn’t helpful at all.Then I was told I had to go across the street, stand by the vehicle, wait for instructions online and then go back across the street to pick up the keys. This was a total inconvenience and hazard to have to go back and forth across a busy street.Then when I asked for instructions on returning the truck… he simply said, go online and it will tell you what to do. Again, not customer friendly.I had reserved online for a pickup at 2 pm, but by the time I went back and forth across the street I literally wasn’t handed the keys until 2:34. However online it still calculated my 6 hour return at 8 pm. Not taking into account the time I was approved and left with the keys. The truck was brought back before 10. And I was charged an after hour service fee of $20, a $30 fee for gas, and $17 for filling up the gas. The gas was returned 1/8 less than picked up. I can understand perhaps the $17 fee to refill but the $30 fee was ridiculous. And so was the $20 after hours fee. I ended up being charged double from what I had been estimated to pay. This overall was a bad experience and I will not use this location again. Likely not to use Uhaul again either. There are other options out there with better customer service. I
