Comment: Had the longest wait time I have ever experienced at a rental location. I made an online reservation and the the equipment I reserved was unavailable. I would have went to a different location to get what I wanted but I had to wait so long I did not have the time and ended up renting the more expensive equipment. Will not be renting from here again.

Comment: A ton of my manager wants me to at this location. Not all uhauls are the same.I rented a truck online, declined insurance, showed up on the date - and the employees sat there waiting for me to hit continue on the sig pad forcing me to get the insurance for 50$. When I told them I already declined online and filed out the forms stating so in my reservation, they said our manager does things differently here, so you can pay it or leave without the truck haha. I left without the truck. What a joke.

The person who helped me today had zero personality, no smile, no energy, was indifferent, expressionless, very robotic, matter of fact and borderline rude. When I returned I was honestly shocked that I got a thank you albeit it was without any emotion or gratitude. She couldn’t care less. I’ve rented from Uhaul a bunch of times, always a very good experience. First time at this location. I won’t be back here.

Comment: So I rented uhual at 5pm they said u can return tomorrow by 6 and because its 1 hours to next day now they charge me extra 1 day for use for 1 hour and also extra day of 25$ insurance I have to have which other uhual do not ask for proof of insurance while I was in there they also in process of refunding old lady because telling her she can only be in her storage for 2 hours max which no other uhual does this is the worse uhual location to go to any other one is great but not this guys

Comment: My storage days with UHaul are over! Its always been torture to WAIT & WAIT at the UHaul counter for anything. The UHaul site was down for at least 2 days so, unexpectedly, I couldnt pick up my confirmed truck rental from this UHaul location, DURING A TIME CRITICAL move, while I was paying movers $$$. I even booked a UHaul truck a second day when I assumed the UHaul website was back up - since UHaul confirmed my reservation Luckily, i booked the 2nd truck to pick up at Security Public Storage on Power Inn Rd. Antoinette, at SECURITY PUBLIC STORAGE was professional, personable, efficient - and, she made sure she found the best storage discount for me at her location - 2x. Antoinette was able to provide me with a 2nd:) storage unit immediately - AND - professionally helped me find a truck rental alternative. Much different than the UHaul staff rudely telling me, and other potential customers, to basically go away. If they couldnt work, with the UHaul site down, why wouldnt they at least provide SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE or, COURTESY? Shooing everyone away... Im glad I have an alternative now .Thanks Antoinette at Security Public Storage! You saved me more money than you know:).

Two other customers and myself were told they didnt have propane but only after waiting however long it takes to get a phone customer looking for a price quote on a truck rental. Thats no good.

Comment: I do not recommend this location at all. After a very long day of emptying my storage unit and running around to get things done before making my 3 day drive back home, I called to verify the address of where I should go to drop off the key. The woman I spoke to gave me the address and since I was already on the phone I specifically asked if there was anything I needed to do other than bring the key back. She asked if it was cleared out and if I left the door open. I explained that it was completely cleared out, but had not left the door open. She said, Its fine so long as its cleared out. I finish up other business I had, and headed to the location I was tild to go, feeling confident everything would go smoothly. It did not. After having to wait 15 minutes for service due to many customers, which was fine, I walked to the with key in hand only to be refused. I was only now told that I must now drive all the way back to the storage unit to take what I would deem useless pictures of the empty storage unit, as they prove nothing, especially since she didnt even take the time to look at which storage unit I was taking pictures of. To make an already long day even longer, I did. When arriving back, not only did she not help me, but left another customer standing there waiting, to count boxes. Thanks UHaul for putting even more aggravation onto someones life than what was already there. Very professional. If someone asks what they need to do, next time tell them! Dont force them to drive all over town, when they already have a 3 day drive ahead of them.

Comment: My friend used this location and was quoted a one way fee but then was told they didnt have any trucks available for one way and that she would have to pay almost 40 dollars more and had to bring it back to the same location. They should have called one of the other location ( there are at least 6 within a 5 mile radius) to find her a truck that she would be able to return in the area she moved to. But she is young and I feel like they took advantage of her because shes female and young. When I went with her to return it the guy that checked us in was also the guy that reserved it for her and he was making excuses for why he didnt explain things to her and when I said I would be calling to make a complaint he said that the complaint would come back to him anyway so he would just take some money off of her bill. She still ended up having to pay for $90 to literally move 12 miles thats ridiculous. My mother is getting ready to move back to Illinois and we will definitely not be using Uhaul services. Theres too many other honest options these people should be ashamed of their self and from now on they need to explain things to people more clearly and help them find a truck that would better suit their needs even if they have to recommend another store.

Comment: Terrible service. I reserved a 20 ft truck in advance and the truck was double booked. My 7 hr reservation was cut in half to 3.5 hrs. And Derek Van Tassel, the Gen Manager, almost didnt allow me to pick up a truck at all! Completely inconsiderate!When I returned the truck, the line was out the door! Only one person behind the counter.This location gave me the worst customer service Ive ever received. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We ran into some problems as UHauls credit processing system was apparently down nation wide, but Kristyn went out of her way to get the problem fixed and us on our way. Great job you guys! Will definitely be returning here next time I need a van or truck.

Comment: Be prepared to wait, even if not many people are ahead of you. Ive rented trailers here 3 times and I can never get in and out quickly. Employees are hit and miss, there are some really good ones and some that cant hide the fact that they dont want to be there.

Comment: I rent a trailer on a weekly basis from this facility and the staff is an excellent group of people. The service remains quality and i am very pleased. I would recommend this particular Uhaul to my close friends and family and my fellow sacramentans, sincerely a satisfied customer. 🚚
