Comment: One of the employees that works here Saturday mornings cancelled my order because I told him I had been waiting 30 minutes in their office for the truck I had reserved. He said If I didnt like the fact that I had to wait 30 minutes I could go somewhere else. I cant believe uHaul lets their employees talk to their customers like this. He then started arguing with me because I told him that was bad customer service. I then told him I was not there to argue and to please just give me the truck that I had reserved online. He then said the person that rented the truck didnt return it and there was no truck for me to rent. The lot was full of Vans and Trucks! He just decided he wasnt going to rent me a truck because I told him I had been waiting 30 minutes and I had a schedule to keep. I then told him he was extremely rude and unprofessional and walked away. As I was walking away he yelled, yeah! Say that as you walk away! I looked back and it looked like the guy wanted to fight me. I have never experienced such disrespectful customer service. I really couldnt believe uHaul lets their employees talk like this to their customers. All I asked was if I could get my truck soon because I had been waiting 30 minutes. The guy looked like he wanted to fight me! I cant believe uHaul would employ someone with this type of attitude.

Comment: Greatly disappointed with the service I received today. I made a reservation for a van, and when I got there I waited twenty minutes before being helped. The man at the desk was having a conversation with a woman who was purchasing a dolly for a good 15 minutes before I interrupted and politely asked if I could get my van when the lady turned around and apologized for talking for so long. Then the man who worked there turned to the lady and said “DONT APOLOGIZE TO HIM, HE CAN WAIT.” I have never been treated so poorly by a service representative. Then when the guy finally “helped” me, he told me sorry your reservation is not a guarantee and there’s nothing available for you, even though the lot was full of vans and trucks. The treatment and lack of respect felt personal when all I was trying to do was rent a uhaul.

Comment: When I arrived 15 minutes prior to opening Steven the worker asked us to love very rudely we parked in the far back and again he basically yelled at us to move there was another car parked next to us and Steven never asked them to move his attitude towards us was horrible and on top of that we had already reserved and when my husband was going to pay he asked my husband if he had ID with a smirk when he was handed the ID he looked it over and rubbed the back of it DID HE THINK MY HUSBAND WAS ILLEGAL if so this is DISCRIMINATION never again do I want to come to this location and I will also let family and friends since we always use this location

Comment: Do not go to the storage unit. I had my household items in the storage unit for six months and paid for insurance on top of the monthly rental. When we first went there it was clean we’ve been fighting rodents, rats, and mice and roaches throughout the whole facility, I fogged the roaches to kill them. There’s mouse or rat traps inside the facility but they’re not working rodent feces everywhere for four months fighting it, I try to do the insurance claim on the damage that they’ve caused and was unable to do the insurance claim due to the fact that I did not have receipts for every single item that was in the facility pictures do not count they did not approve the pictures. They want me to show proof of purchase of every single clothing item that was chewed up and peed on and TV, receipts air fryer receipts anything I owned they want receipts, I don’t have receipts for everythingThey only reimbursed me for one month of rental out of six months

Comment: If you renting here make sure to set up the return the max hour for the price of the day. Because I was end up charged two days since I used only one day. Just because they set on my contract that I was picking up by 10am and returning by 3pm and I returned by 7pm. And they told me that I could return until 7pm which was the store close hours. But didn’t mention that I would pay more.If they had put on my contract that I would return by 7pm I would pay just one day. This just sounds a way to overcharge the customer.So careful or you will pay double like me.I just hope that they tell the customer.

I asked a question about if they contained the sizes I was looking for, both of the guys at the counter gave me a repulsive look as if how dare I even speak to them! Needless to say I found what I was looking for on my own, with no assistance from them. I went to the counter to pay for my purchases they stood there for what seemed like an eternity scrolling on their cellphones while i stood there dumbfounded waiting to pay for my boxes. I didn’t even bother asking them for help carrying them outside although I really did need help. I had to take one box out at a time and keep coming back in until I got all of my items. Had I not been in a rush I would have just walked out after the vibe I immediately got entering that place. I absolutely hated the fact that I gave them my money. DON’T GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS, they’re pathetic!!!

Comment: Had to get road side assistance. I explained that I was in an area that had very poor reception so I made sure to give my exact location and reminded them they I might now get a call if they tried to reach me if they were to call before showing up. I told the dispatcher that I was also not in much of a hurry so we scheduled a service provider to show up at 8am. The driver apparently tried to reach me then didnt show up cause I wasnt contacted. So I had to call roadside and have someone else dispatched to my location. This required me going to a place that was not close to where I needed to be for the day to make the call. Again I was told someone would come out. Finally I got someone to check the trailer out and ultimately tow it away with the understanding that Id be getting one returned. Later I received a call from the person who picked up that trailer who I formed me that he would only be dropping the trailer off and was told that I would have to drive more than an hour from where I was spending the weekend with friends and family to sign a new contract and get a different to pull back with me. I spent the next 6 hours dealing with dropped calls, being transfered all over, and missing out on time with my family and friends because I had to stay in a spot when I had phone service. Now dealing with a battery on my phone that was about to die Im sitting there waiting for a call back to confirm a trailer being delivered to my location would be successfully dropped off. Since there were no trailers in the area that fit my needs and U-Hauls availability I had to settle for a smaller trailer when meant I had to then load a lot more things in the bed of my truck than I wanted to in order to feel safe. Lastly after I finally drop the trailer off I then get a call from the dealership asking me where their trailer was. Contact your roadside team. This completely ruined my planned vacation and turned the majority of my time into work. I want my time back. I want my money back. This entire experience was terrible.

I arrive at this location to pick up the trailer, I realize that it was the wrong one I wanted so I let the staff know and he didn’t try to assist me at all. Comment: Honestly I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone. You changed my reservation without verbally confirming with me that, that was OKAY. Who does that, then the person at the front counter was rude and dismissive. Also you should tell the gentleman wearing a sling he should be so loud when discussing his personal life with his friends…I know all about his arthritic elbow that he just had drained and how he will be taking a week off to go to Columbia to get a stem cell transplant, why Columbia you might ask, well that’s because it’s $25,000 to get that surgery here and way less there. When that gentleman informed me corporate moved my reservation and there was nothing he could do, funny corporate said the manager at the location reached out to them on Thursday to move my reservation. My question is I reserved my van on Monday, why did it take him 3 days to realize he overbooked…maybe because his friends are taking the trucks for helping people move, yet another candid conversation i over heard. I’ll go to budget or Pinsky, I’ll never use U-Haul again. Who the hell just changes a reservation and doesn’t talk to the person.

Comment: It has been my worst experience in car rental ever. it was my first time in u-haul and for sure the last one. when I returned the truck unfortunately I forgot a backpack inside, but I came back right away, since I returned to try to recover my backpack, I found only negatives, specially from store manager named Jordan, they are refused to help in any way. My wife arrived around 10 minutes later than me after returned truck, and she saw a u-haul worker get off the truck with black bag (at that point my wife didn’t know that I forgot my backpack) . I can’t Believe how dishonesty the people can be, i would never keep something that is not mine . I’m going to report to the police because inside of backpack there legal documents that I need to recover

Comment: I had 3 days to move all the furniture from my 2500sq foot anaheim shop to huntington beach. Zac and Daniel went beyond with their service for me. I probably would have take more days to move if it wasn’t for them. My car wasn’t able to hook up properly to the trailer. Zac and Daniel worked together to make it work and educated me on the functions of the trailer and why certain things were necessary for safety precautions.I rented a van. The trailer was on the second time around. Both times the transaction was absolutely smooth. Dan went over with me with the trailer charges, which were accurate with nothing hidden.Now im fully moved out. I feel alot better.Dan and Zac are both very chill guys. Thank you guys!!!

I was charged for 3 days when I the truck for a day and half, brought it back clean only drove 17 miles and filled up with gas more than it has, paid in advance for 20 miles and was still charged more. Comment: I would rather give negative rating if I could.I reserved a 12 by 6 closed moving trailer on their website, pick up 9 return is 5pm. When I pick it up, a stuff said my reservation is until 3. Actually time is good to me but I just ask I was curious why I booked for until 5pm but I have to return by 3, then they switched to another stuff who’a name is Zachary Smith. He rejected to give me the trailer I reserved and the reason is he “felt” I would not return it back by 3 so he couldn’t Horner the other reservation starts from 4pm.Then no matter how I explain I just need it by noontime and will be back on time he insisted canceled my reservation. I had to take their another open trailer for my moving! Talking to this guy made me felt being interrogated. He said they have policy they can refuse any reservation they feel not secured to their schedule.At last I had to take that open trailer for moving and wasted a lot time to tie down all the stuffs. I returned before 3pm as promised, I can even came back earlier if Zachary didn’t refuse my first reservation.So guys, do not make any reservation if you need anything in plan, they will ruin your plans. But how nice would you expecting to be traded for a $30 worth trailer renter??U haul, why you set up your online reservation system but your stuff doesn’t follow? I’ll have to file a official complaint to your headquarter.And Zac, thank for you made me felt the another side of human nature and wish you enjoy your forever work here.

Comment: This place was has the absolute worst service. Very unprofessional. A few weeks ago my mom rented a truck from this location, and asked for my help picking up and dropping off the truck. She arranged everything ahead of time on the phone. When we went to pick up the truck they told her instead of the $400 she was quoted on the phone by Uhaul she was going to have to pay $800. She showed them the quote she was given, and the guy there said he couldnt do anything about it, and didnt know why she was quoted the low price, and she would have to pay the $800 if she wanted the truck. She said no and asked for him to contact Uhaul. He got on the phone and sat there for a couple minutes saying that he could figure out why she was quoted the lower price. Hoping she would give up and pay the full price. She was not budging. Finally he figured it out and gave her the lower price. It all seemed shady. So we get the truck and he tells us to check the exterior for damage and mark anything that looks wrong on the check out list. Everything with the truck worked fine. We were moving furniture only. When we brought the truck back. The person checking us in opened the back and said there were grease stains on the wall that we were going to be charged $50 for since we didnt mark the stains being there before. Nowhere on the check in process was there anything to mark stains on the interior wall as damage. These grease stains were definitely old stains. They said they didnt care and we were going to have to pay regardless of how old the stains we were responsible for cleaning them up. So we had to go off site and clean it. It was ridiculous. The check in person refused to even examine the stains closer to see that there was no way they were 4 days old. He was incredibly rude, short, and disrespectful to my mom, and I will never recommend anyone renting from here. The crew they have running this shop is so unprofessional.

Its worth the drive. Their customer service is amazing, they are super helpful for last minute changes. And theyve always been helpful whenever I rent a trailer, giving me tips and advice for pulling it. They definitely always treat me respectfully and are very friendly. Comment: I dropped off a trailer at this location. Drop-off is easy. There are signs guiding you to one driveway and you pull up under a canopy where an attendant does a quick inspection and lets you on your way. Quick and easy. No problems.

Comment: Worst phone service ever. Do not call these guys unless you have an hour of your time to waste. They literally think its a game to waste your time. My call asking for the rate on a very specific unit, for a very specific amount of time lead to dozens of personal questions completely unrelated to a price. Why do you need my last name to give me a price? Why do you need my phone number to give me a price? Why do you need my email to give me a price? Why do you need my exactly what Im putting in the unit to give me a price? Why do you need the year make and model of my vehicle? Why do you need to know how many rooms are in my home? Any attempt to bypass a question results in the representatives refusal to assist, absolutely unbelievable! To add insult to injury, the rep was pretending to sound like a 50s style nasally operator. And I know she was rudely pretending because when I called her out for wasting my time, she mistakenly lost her fake accent upon dishing back her own rude comments. Childish, unprofessional, unhelpful.
