Comment: Staff is unprofessional, staff is unhelpful and everyone acts like they don’t know how to do anything they always need a different staff member or can’t find the radio to call another staff it was just a terrible experience overall and I never received my deposit back I never requested a check to be mailed to me I gave cash and came back to retrieve my cash and was given the run around just to be told someone closed my contract and requested that I be mailed a check which makes no sense and I never requested a check when I paid cash. When you call they don’t even ask you can you hold the just say that please hold and slam the phone back down and leave you waiting on hold for over 10-20 minutes and still to get no results or the answers you need and the staff does not help you find your U-Haul or assist you any type of way once they take your money. The woman is who works the swing/ closing shift is just terribly unprofessional and unsanitary. She curses to herself, says that’s not her job, makes you wait and does not assist you happily she was terrible and the dayshift staff is just ghetto on the phone telling me they didn’t make enough money yet to give me my deposit back just to be told the next day a check request was submitted on my behalf. I will never do business or suggest this location to anyone EVER

Comment: My niece was arrested for grand theft auto a good girl no record facing three years for something yall didnt send help on and yall tow truck driver left her at chevron for hours and then nobody could help her with the flat the manager here should be ashamed at what he is doing to my neice she cant even afford a lawyer shes a single struggling mom who was fleeing domestic violence and she called every step of the way she just never spoke to the store directly yall are the worst this happen she rented it on Jan 27 in that condition with witness and called with witness yall are horrible people whats her four year old gonna be if she gets taken from him court is today at 830 please pray for her

Comment: I just wanted to let yall know that if you are trying to get your propane tank refilled that even though they close at 7PM they stop filling propane at 6:30PM. However the gas station at the end of Hammer and 99 will refill 24 hours a day you just might have to wait until the clerk can lock up due to the characters that sometimes hang out around there. Good Luck!!!P.S. It was under 20 bucks for the refill!!!

Comment: They will bait and switch you. Rentals go to the customer who will need it longer for more days and mileage. I reserved a van but only needed it for 1 day. They notified me the day before that I had to go across town to pick up a van because the 2 they had on the lot was given away--after I reserved it! They charge by the mile so not only was I inconvenienced, I had to incur additional mileage that they would not reimburse. I understand you want to make more money off your rentals but at least reimburse your customers not even for the inconvenience but for the additional mileage cost your selfish policies create.

Comment: Everyone was super nice and very helpful, the only problem I have is I paid for more gas than expected (wanting to be safe than sorry) but I wasn’t reimburse for the amount I paid. $30 for 10 miles but if I got less gas than I was supposed I would be charged way more, the amount on my contract was even lower since I gave you free gas. Gas is expensive and I lost out big time…not even an apology

Comment: Bought a wiring harness for my 2013 Ford Edge and when the tail lights were on the right side would not work. Call down to uhaul where I bought it was told because they didnt install it there was nothing they could do. Tried explaining to them that it had something to do with the plug on the harness they said there is nothing they can do about it. So I started checking wires the ground wires had a bad connection and a white wire that went into the plug came out the wire was just picked in to the plug. The wire was not even stripped to make contact. Will not be getting anything from uhaul again. The plug was $20.00 more if you go in to get it and $20.00 cheaper if you order it online. So basically they take you money and offer no advice even when it was bad wiring on their plug.

Comment: After loading we sent movers to new house after that truck wont start. Called roadside assistance and they put me hold for 37 minutes so hung up and called this place where I rent the truck and the manager melody? She said they are not responsible and they cant do anything and tell me to just call roadside assistance.. so I called back they never answered for another 52 minutes but good samaritan (thank God) start the car(he said bad battery) so I hung up and went to new location where those movers waited me there for almost 2hours.. We unloaded everything while truck still running.. one of the worst and expensive experience. (had to pay movers for about 5 hours when they actually worked for 2hours) never deal with this place ever!

Comment: Constant reminder that I have to be called to pay bill. No emails because they changed it without my knowledge. Dont receive emailed receipts like Im supposed to because he changed my email. Which is beyond me. They say it goes through and doesnt. Never has so many issues with a storage facility like this. Now they say another much is on my unit and they dont know why!! They need to do daily basis check like its in their work duties. Get a call to pay war are in already late because I dont get emails or calls like I requested! This facility needs to get it together. Like most of the staff but its not hard to save someones email and phone number.

Upon returning to the store the man behind the counter recognized me from my picture ID. I did a drop off in Sacramento and they siphoned the U-Haul almost to empty when we had it at full and they tried to charge us for it and found out the place you drop it off at does the last charge if there is one. They gave me the run around and I had to keep calling because no one gets back to you AH I just went to corporate and thankfully I had a photo showing proof of the time I dropped it off with a full tank so finally got MUST of my refund. -_-

Comment: I rented my uhaul from them in February of 2016 when I was moving. the day before, I called UHaul and spoke with the manager Chris just to make sure that my rental was there in the system. While talking to chris, I asked him of how much do I need in order to pick up my rental and he stated over the phone that if I have $80.00 in the bank, i would be fine. All was on recording via phone conversation. The next day, I went and pick up my rental. I asked Chris again about the payment and he re-stated that if I have $80.00 in the bank, I WILL BE FINE. I process the paper work and put a safety deposit. I used my uhaul rental that day and at 8 p.m., i returned my rental. As my rental was being inspected, theemployee told me that I owe them $160.00. I asked him how come it is so high and he stated that they charge mileage. I told him that Chris informed me prior that if I had $80.00 in the bank I would be fine. The service rep that inspected my vehicle informed me that the employees at this particular UHaul place likes to screw people over and he didnt know why. I ended up paying $160.00 because I was informed that if I didnt pay, I would be sent to collections. I called the coporation and after talking to them about the situation, they apologized and stated that they would talk to the manager Chris and call me back with the end results. 5 MONTHS LATER, IT HAS BEEN QUIET AND NO CALLS AT ALL.
