Comment: I rented a truck from this location for the day. It went normal. There was a little issue with the gas not being where the highlighted mark was, but was corrected. I strongly recommend taking photos of dash prior to leaving UHAUL.There was a discrepancy on the bill due to a typo of one of the U-Haul representative that did require a few phone calls to resolve. I will say the customer service of this location and their main HQ are very professional and remedied the issue. A special thanks to Sabrina, the GM, who corrected the issue and made everything right.

Comment: Everything went well in the beginning until returning our truck . Employee stated we drove it 40 miles when it reality drove it less than 20 and even filled it with $25. Our charges went from 40 to 100 because of the suppose miles we drove it . The morning in which I was assisting my disabled and elderly dad move led to a negative experience . The manager stated they could not do anything about it . The miles listed on the contract match when we first got the truck . Again what didn’t match was the Milage indicated on the odometer when we returned the truck . We had the truck form 8 to 11 am and even returned it at 9:30am . I do admit I should’ve second guessed getting the keys to the truck we were given since the manager stated to another employee that it recently had maintenance work done which leads me to believe issues with the truck was one for sure the odometer. (Corporate please feel free to check your indoor cameras for the managers words to another employee regarding the recent maintenance to the truck ) I will be making a formal complaint because it is a rip off to charge a costumer for something we honestly did not do. I have been a loyal customer for years and thankfully have had no issues prior to this but when you take my hard earned money for an injustice reason then we have a problem . I will look for another moving company in the future if my money is not refunded .

They were friendly, helpful, postive, and accomodating - even when we had to downsize from our truck reservation. Tracy (I think that is her name), went above and beyond to help us ensure we had everything we need. I will be sure to use this location moving forward.

Comment: The van we wanted was disgusting. Unfortunately I was desperate because it was my last day to move my office. It’s smelled so bad and there was so much dog hair every where. I was itchy and sneezing. The worker even put his mask on when he checked the miles, I feel like he knew it stank. The girl was kind enough to refund us the rental portion, not the mileage, but the guy worker made this face and shook his head in disapproval, he obviously doesn’t have customer service skills. I will never go back to that place. Stay away! Beware!

Comment: This facility really helped me out! I had to move on a shorter timeframe then I thought she needed a truck and storage for the month of July. Tanya is amazing, the whole staff no matter who I talked to were helpful/letting me borrow tools to take apart my personal belongings to fit through the door, you name it they were always doing their best and friendly, highly recommend!

Once Yesenia was available she helped me narrow down what truck I would be needing for my task. When I came to drop off the rental, Eric was able to help me out and get me on my way. Comment: I recommend you go anywhere else. The staff is awful, and the experience is insulting. While waiting for help, I watched the woman with an owner badge argue with the only other employee. He proceeded to stay silent and leave the office, while the I watched the woman ignore me, watching videos on her phone.If you expect youll need help renting a Uhaul or buying propane, you should fine someplace else, this place is a disaster.

Comment: This is a complaint against a third party that works with Uhauls all over San Diego. Making Moving Easy, is a company that helps movers with furniture, boxes, etc. This is a scam/con company. The owner finds movers on Craigslist, promises hours and money then doesnt pay his workers when the jobs are complete as soon as he gets the payment codes he pockets the money and doesnt respond to phone calls and text messages.

Comment: Absolutely fantastic. I made an appointment online to have a hitch installed on my telluride. When I came for the appt, the parts hadn’t arrived yet so the owner gave me his personal number to keep in touch on updates when they would receive it. He reached out two days later, keeping me updated and had called around to find the wiring kit my car needed. He went above an beyond and gave us a credit for the inconvenience. The actual install was timely and done well. Beyond happy with the service here!

Comment: I have used this location for years moving our stuff locally and long distance. Recently I needed a Uhaul van to move some Costco very large items from the store to our home. The whole process was very easy and straight forward. We will use this location again whenever we need a truck.

Comment: U-Haul closes at 7pm and they typically close the propane filling station at 630pm. I showed up at 648pm. They very well couldve told me to pound sand, but they helped me without question right away and the employee was extremely professional and we talked about trucks and RVs while filling my tanks. Great folks in there.

Comment: This is definitely my go to place when I need a moving truck.I reserved a truck on the 4th of November and kept it over night and it turns out I needed it longer, which wasn’t a problem at all. They charged me very little for an extension and let me keep the truck for 4 days!!I was even late to return the truck and they did not penalize me or charge me anything additional, as they were very understanding about my moving situation. I highly recommend. Even returning the vehicles are easy and can be done after hours also. They have many trucks and most of them are always available. Thank you so much for your help!!

Comment: Staff was most helpful. Picking up and returning the truck was very easy. Dollys, moving blankets,boxes basically all our moving needs where available there. The entrance however was a bit difficult there street address is listed on fourth ave but theres no driveway to access the shop. You have to make a right at the light before it(if your headed north on 4 the) road bends to the left : at the first street make another left: entrance to U-Haul is on your left.The parking lot is easy to get in and out of for your vehicle as well as the one your renting.They make your move as easy as possible. Have a safe and great move.

Comment: I traveled from Mississippi to San Diego and was very pleased by the positive reception I got, especially from Aaron. I could tell this was a very busy U-Haul and he had a number of other customers, but I always felt as if I was given priority. The building was clean and well maintained, although I did notice the rat trap in my storage locker. There was definitely a large selection of U-Haul trucks, vans, and trailers to choose from.
