Comment: The elevator has been out for about two years apparently. But, theyll act like it went out last night when you arrive. There was no notice on the website and they let me know when I arrive that morning to pickup my truck, I had to extend the time I had my movers significantly. Not to mention that we all had to climb up stairs with furniture. I was not anticipating any of this. Essentially any of the promotions or information listed on the website is probable inaccurate. Maria was initially unhelpful, but warmed up a little. Truly, expectations can be managed better if there is accurate information communicated to customers. There is no reason that an elevator should be out for 2 years and customers dont know when they are booking. That is crazy. I literally chose this location because I thought it would be an easy load in. Moving and storing things is already a stressful process for a lot of people. I wish that it would be made a bit smoother and not more stressful.

Comment: I rented a van here in 2016. Then in 2020 to help a friend. Both rentals were with full disclosure and I paid what I expected. Remember that miles are computed after return, at check out only 20 miles are estimated in the quote or initial charge. I suggest you be efficient in your move and refuel the van back to what it was when you bring it back.After careful consideration I had to come back and deduct some stars because of a recent experience Ive had at this place. Used to be a good place the customer service has gone downhill and we all know who it is.

Comment: The manager Maria was very rude and spoke to me poorly via phone after accidentally scheduling my Uhaul for a shorter time frame than the allotted 24 hours. She raised her voice at me which was inappropriate, especially for a manager and with such a reputable company. Otherwise, my service was great and the truck served me well, but she should not feel comfortable speaking to customers this way.

Comment: It wasn’t the worst but I wouldn’t come back. I was upcharged $10 extra on my rental for gas, even though I drove only 6 miles and the gas meter barely moved. Gas is $5/gal right now. I definitely didn’t use 2 entire gallons of gas to drive 6 miles. Additionally, the staff wasn’t very helpful, didn’t explain any part of the process to me so I felt pretty confused. Apparently none of the seats on any of their trucks adjust & I was too short to drive the truck. The battery light was blinking on the dash which I was not made aware of. My rental was also not marked as completed once I returned the truck.

It was her 3rd day working I believe and I think she did a fantastic job guiding my boyfriend and I through the difficult process of moving.There was a very kind gentleman there as well whose name I didn’t catch- I apologize. He was clearly seasoned and training Nya with policy and he helped process the transaction inside the UHAUL store quickly and efficiently. Thank you sir!I 100% recommend this UHAUL location due to the supplies available to help pack your belongings, the staff that helped us and the ease of making an appointment here.Overall 5 stars.

HOWEVER, even though I refilled my U-Haul just before I returned it to them(I filled gasoline at a nearby Chevron), they charged me an additional gasoline fee. Initially, I was pleased to have a great experience, but the extra cost made me upset about their honesty.

Comment: Take your business to Penske. This U-Haul location is no good. They overcharged me for the gas $56 dollars, said I did not fill it where the meter was previously—lies. Then when I go to rectify the situation I am asked for a picture. I now know you have to take pictures of everything because they lack integrity.Also, the truck back was dirty (luckily I took pics of this) I had the clean myself, the truck shook if gone over 40 mph, and the lady who did my rental was rude (her demeanor was that she did not want to be there, and it was clear she didn’t respect herself, her employer, my time or her time—because why would you treat someone that way if you wouldn’t like to be treated the same).Overall, bad experience. I will be boycotting U-Haul and every time someone mentions moving I’m going to bash U-haul. I’m going to get my $56 one way or another even if it’s in the form of deterring other customers :)

Comment: Not the greatest experience at all. I went here thinking that all I needed to do was rent my truck, per usual, and be gone. First, the rude woman at the front desk told me that I could not use a debit card at her location at all.Upon questioning her further, she been clarified that I could not use a debit card if I was renting out a van, but if I wanted to use the truck, I could use my debit card for that.Any customer service rep that works for U-Haul could look at my account and easily tell this woman that I have never paid a $100 security deposit for renting a U-Haul Van. However, thats what she insisted that I needed to do, I needed to pay $100 security deposit.She then try to Hard Sell the insurance for the U-Haul, claiming that I would need it for the rain, because the drivers on the road get crazy when it rains. Once I told her that I couldnt do $100, she didnt even care if I left out of the store or not.I immediately called another location, and they charged my debit card $47 for the entire fee, before I even made it to their location. They clearly need better customer service agent at this location.However, if its not broke, they dont need to fix it. I would NOT highly recommend this place to anyone that I know. There are enough attitude in Los Angeles, why do I need to come here or send my friends here to experience that?

We reserved a moving truck multiple weeks ago and we were told the day before moving that there are no available trucks for us.I feel that having a reservation so far ahead should have guaranteed us service. We received absolutely no compensation for the inconvenience, even though they gave us less than twenty four hours of notice.We thought using Uhaul for our move would be best, as a big company would provide us with the most flexibility. We certainly will never be using their services again since there is no reliability.

Comment: The truck was given to me with less than a quarter tank (what the paper stated) and a battery warning. The truck had gas light come on from only 15 miles being driven. I filled with more gas than I used and the group did not ever send me a receipt, only because I checked my credit card statement did I notice that they charged me an extra $25 for no reason. I called Uhaul and they said the reps from this location would be in contact with me and I have yet to receive a call. Very disappointed.

Comment: I wish i could give this place no starz. YOLANDA MARTINEZ IS VERY RUDE AND THEY ARE THIEVES. I rented the truck from 8/1 @ 9am to 8/2 -@ 9am yet Ive been overly charged for 3 days. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM UNLESS YOURE HISPANIC THEN THEY JUST MIGHT NOT ROB YOU. PAY CASH SO THEY HAVE NO ACCESS TO YOUR BANK.

Comment: There is just one person to sign people up and help. And the process is excruciatingly slow. We had a 9 am reservation with 3 people ahead of us. Our reservation automatically updated to 10 and we finally got our confirmation done and ready by around 11.

Comment: Great customer service. The sidestreet where it sits is too narrow for moving trucks and if you have an auto hauler on the back it could spell disaster if you are not an experienced CDL class license holder.

Comment: The only issue I have is they put a second lock on your unit and you have to trade ur license to get the second key making more time to get what you need to do. Also the halls are very dim so bring a head lamp or flashlight...employees are nice. Parking sucks. Only entry to move stuff is a loading dock.

Comment: Staff was very friendly and helpful. But the facility itself was very disappointing, so much so that I ended up moving into a different storage provider at the last minute after seeing the space. Chain link fence dividers do not instill much confidence in the security and safety of one`s belongings nor do the large rat traps in each storage space. Access hours are limited, but what`s worse is the single loading dock which makes it nearly impossible to load/unload at the same time as anyone else.Unfortunately I cant recommend this facility.
