Comment: I’ve been renting a storage here for a good 5+ years and whenever I call and Julie is working she always picks up the phone but her other employees are ridiculous! They never pick up the phone!!!! It’s 8:30 in the morning and I’ve called 6 times and no response! Nobody is picking up the phone on a Tuesday morning? I’ve had these same issues on the weekends when I’m trying to pay my bills and her employees just refuse to answer the phone which always results in me having to wait to call the next day when Julie is back in the office. I’ve given her whole storage a one star because her employee are horrendous and unprofessional. I’m sorry Julie YOUR customer service is great but your employees are deliberately refusing to answer calls which results in you loosing money and customers.

Comment: Worst customer service experience ever.I had made a reservation for a U-Haul truck last week beginning of Tuesday, May 23rd. I was told by the U-Haul truck rental department that since it was a one-way trip, I could get a free months worth of U-Haul storage! I didnt hesitate to sign-up!I downloaded the app and reserved a storage unit at the U-Haul Moving & Storage of East Pasadena, since it would be close to where I needed to store my items. I reserved a 5x8x10 storage unit online and it was reserved on my account. Unfortunately the app does not allow you to update the reservations you have for storage because it requires an administrative team member to change it. I had to keep pushing the date, because I had reserved the storage unit ahead of time and I would call U-Hauls customer service team to constantly change the reserved date.I was planning to register the storage unit that was reserved in person when I got there with the truck.Come to find out, after driving for 4-hours from where I was moving from, and arriving on Saturday to the new place, then taking my stuff on Monday (5/29) to their storage unit. I go into the office where I meet Julie Lugman, and she tells me she had released the storage unit and gave it to someone else. This was after they have had the unit reserved up until the 28th and I was getting everything arranged for my move and I knew I would use it, but no one from her team or herself ever gave me a call back from her location to ask me if I still needed the unit, or if I would need an extension. Nothing. I find out when I arrive with my belongings at the storage facility and she tells me the unit has been released and there is no other unit available. All she could do was apologize and not help with anything else. I was literally left hanging, left to my own devices to find another storage facility. So I did.I walked out of her office and I went to Public Storage to get myself a unit from their company. Which was well worth it not having to deal with her incompetence or the companys lack of responsible employees.I should be compensated for the amount of the unit, I would have been given had I been given the storage unit which was about $162. If I was given this compensation back, I would be satisfied as a customer for the unnecessary trouble caused.But, oh well I guess well see if this gets any recompense. Im not holding my breath.***UPDATE***I had received a call from Ashley from the Pasadena U-Haul location on Colorado. They have apologized and compensated me with a gift card for the mishap that happened on (5/29).

Comment: Reservations can be made here for pick up of vehicles close by. They dont actually have vehicles at this address but the woman was great, fast. Knowledgeable. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Great service.

Comment: James did a amazing accessing my needs for storage and moving (locally and out of state) I’m telling everyone I know to come to this location for their uhaul and storage needs. I’m not usually impressed with customer service but today exceeded my expectations James was very knowledgeable and professional above all patient which is hard to come by these days.

Comment: It was easy and quick to set up and billing was simple, straightforward and fairly priced. Access to your unit is easy but also very secure. When I accidentally left my unit unlocked they called to tell me in a timely manner. The staff is decently friendly but the management doesnt return calls or answer the phone. They do not pro-rate the month when you move out. You have to pay for access to a trash bin and parking is less than satisfactory!

Comment: All I wanted to do was stop at the location and by some boxes. There was no parking anywhere to be had and I drove around the block 3 times, but there was nothing. How do you expect to serve the community if you cant even have basic parking available for your customers? This is the last place I will ever stop that to try and buy boxes or even store my things.

Comment: General Manager, Julie South was amazing! We moved from out of state and literally had our entire household items that needed to be stored. Julie made our transition so smoothly and went above and beyond which made a stressful time seem effortlessly.During our storage rental, the location was clean and the staff was friendly, even other renters offered help. I will definitely rent here again and recommend you experience Julies superb services!

Comment: Moved from out East to LA a few months ago, and had some of my stuff here for a few months. The staff is awesome, the place is clean, even the other users I ran into were very friendly. I think you could technically find a cheaper place in the area, but you do get a free month when renting trailers which made this especially worthwhile. Great experience.
