Comment: Horrible experience. Had to resort to AMEX customer service to deal with the situation. Been trying to resolve a problem for weeks now where Uhaul over charged me for a UBox container they forgot to ship. Opened and reopened so many action file reports to get help to only call back to hear they closed the action file report and mentioning they talked to me. THEY NEVER TALKED TO ME. So now I’m getting my money back through AMEX and now they have to deal with AMEX. Uhaul, I won’t use your service again. All you had to do is call me to explain the situation but instead you would rather close the files and lie in them. On top of that, you ignored your customer. Shame.

I was in a very urgent situation and these lovely individuals made me feel important and I’m thankful I chose to move with this location!

They werent really helping the other team mate, that was working super hard. Just laughing and talking crass trash. Especially when I didnt see the customers act in a rude manner.

Comment: The old management was better, after the new people took over they started to threaten to have your vehicle towed even if you picked up a van from them. Wouldnt recommend if you plan on leaving your vehicle for the day. Customer service is also taken a dump since before.

Comment: Im actually ashamed of my self in believing what the U-Haul information has told me and charged me for a product that I bought and paid for on the 12/20/2020 3:39 PM With a deposit of $500.00 cash to the U-Haul located on Commonwealth Ave & Euclid Avenue in the City of Fullerton, CA... Knowing I am disabled and I was buying a hitch with the trailer and was to be for personal transportation for my wheelchair... Im deeply concerned that they did NOT deliver it as I am typing, and they called to say it would be later and someone guaranteed it would be on the car before the 15th. of January, 2021 and they called to tell me it will now be the 28th of January as I called to find out when again, today on January 7th. 2021 and still no information. I called again... The main office where I called and they will not answer and they had to send a message to the manager. I cant drive there because I am in a wheelchair and cant drive. Thats why I need the installation ASAP for an appointment on the 16th. They have not yet completed my order and NOW THEY SAID IT WONT BE UNTIL THE 28TH. OF JANUARY!!?? They screwed and old lady 72 years old and disabled! That SUCKS!

Comment: Poor customer service. Got charged a $20 fee for night dropping. Wish CS rep would have told me I had to check in through my phone. I use to work for uhaul about 10 years ago. Didnt have that policy then. Regardless I called in the morning. Its no harder to check the truck without me there. Ridiculous! Also was told to bring the truck back with more gas than it had or else I would be charged $72 fee. So I did. Think they could have gave me the courtesy that I showed them. Bunch of DBs!

Comment: WORST!! Very inefficient, very inconsiderate, and very disorganized facility. The propane tank is located in the middle of the lot and because of the way how they parked their trucks, it only allowed 1 lane gap through the lot. I got STUCK waiting for this RV to fill his propane tank for me to get out. New customers also couldnt enter to park their cars. I purposely looked at the workers hinting to them that this is NOT a good setup. They just ignored me and didnt bother to say a word....

Comment: Do not rent from here. Had reservation for a 26’ truck that I completed online. Completed the “express online check-in” yesterday and the website told me that the truck will be ready. Went into U-Haul this am and they told me that the reservation was cancelled and that they couldn’t do anything for me. I never once cancelled the reservation and they must have an issue with their website. Horrible customer service that is not acceptable.

Comment: We had to go to Commonwealth Uhaul after our other rental fell through. It was my wedding day and we were going to use the van to haul supplies. After locating the van, the lock box wouldnt open.Thank goodness that James showed up early and helped us out. We got the van quickly and I had a great wedding. Big shout out and thanks to James! You saved the day!

Comment: I am so frustrated with Uhaul right now and may never use them again. We booked our July move in March, scheduling the Uboxes to be loaded 3 weeks ahead of time so that they could be delivered on time to our destination. Since then, I got a new credit card and wanted to change my payment method. It took me 3 calls and an hour and a half of hold time to change the card, and when they put the charges on the new card they double charged $445 and I had to contest the charges with my credit card company.The loading delivery was 5.5 hours late, meaning we had to reschedule the moving help for the next day so that we could get the boxes loaded (we managed to get loaded and picked up on time). After the boxes were picked up, I got an email saying that delivery to our destination was going to be 2 days late. I have called twice, and the first time I spent my whole lunch break on hold, and no one could even tell me the reason for the delay. Today, my second call, I was told that the shipping company was late picking the order up, but there is nothing that Uhaul can do to make sure the order arrives on time (even though there are still 12 days left until the original delivery date). If the delivery is late, we will have to reschedule moving help for the second time in one move, and my family who had cleared their schedules to help us move into our new place likely wont be able to help us anymore. I was told if it is late we will be compensated $50 -- for a $3500 move! The amount of stress this has added to my life cant be measured. I would gladly pay $5000 for a moving company that will deliver on their promises, or even make an effort to help me when I call their customer service line.

Comment: Megan got me in and out. She really values her customers time. So grateful for her knowledge and suggestions I completed my tasks ahead of schedule. Even returning the vehicle I didnt have to wait long at all. Got a credit back on my card as well. For your rental needs I would recommend this place 100% avoid the neighborhood dealers that might be closer to you as the customer service is nonexistent.

Comment: Went in to buy packing supplies costing about forty bucks tried to give the guy a hundred dollar bill and he very rudeley replied with i cant break that do you have something smaller or can you put it on a card. that was my smallest bill and i dont deal with cards. so i left without making a purchase went to lowes and spent ten dollars less and got more. the only reason i gave 2 stars is because of this rude guy i saved money by going somewhere else.

Comment: I have been spending 2 weeks out of each of the past 5 months packing, by myself, my 90 year old Moms house to move her up to Washington.Every time that I have been to the Fullerton location I have been treated very courteously, had all my questions answered and been given many helpful hints. When I have gone in feeling overwhelmed, and close to my breaking point, I have left with my spirit lifted!Just a week ago I made yet another trip toU-Haul. I was greeted by 3 of the Employees that have been helping me, with Hi, nice to see you! Were about ready to put you to work here, you now know where everything is and are not asking any more questions. That had to have been one of the nicest greetings Ive ever received from a business!It will almost be sad when I have gone there for the last time :(

Comment: I called and made a reservation to use a 10 for 4 hours, 11:30 - 3:30. Over the phone I gave my phone and email.I didnt run in to any problems. They asked for CC and drivers license. I got the papers, inspected the truck, damage, gas, mileage then took off. The truck didnt run like a Buick, but I didnt expect it to. It was rough, bouncy, brakes were touchy as was the gas. For 4 hours though... Whatever! I paid about $35 to Uhaul, 19.99 + .79 per mile. Overall I am just grateful for the service, I couldnt have done the move in my minivan.ONE THING I didnt realize before is that they expect you to refill the tank to where it was when you got it. That was an additional $7.I got back on time 3:27. They took the truck and sent me in my way.I got an email/receipt less than ten minutes later. For the charges.I was pleased with the service. Also there are people outside the Uhaul looking for work. Ive found this to be pretty common in California. So if you could use the help they are there.I would give it 4 stars to save the 5th for exquisite service, but I added a 5th to balance out one of the dumb 1 star reviews that just isnt helpful at all to consumers.
