Comment: Would watch out for this place. The lady (Jennifer) was either high or drunk and very rude. Rental period is supposed to be for 24 hours. I was just here with my cousin couple days before and had 24 hour’s. My sister went to return and was told her rental period was only until 6:30 that same day( 7 hours total ) and in the “contract”. She ended up not charging us but I will still be cautious and double check your contract.

Comment: The truck drove well, however when I initially returned the truck I was advised that I was going to be charged another $14.95 for gas because it was not filled to the same amount as when I left. After I showed the attendant the picture on my phone of where it was when I picked up the truck, that charge was removed. Then I noticed the charge pending on my bank account was $27.00 more for a Utility Trailer Rental (Which I did not rent). After I called and questioned the additional charge, it was removed as well. I will not rent from this location again since there was not only one but two charges added that had to be removed.

Comment: I am so grateful for this facility. I had reserved another truck at a uhaul facility off Bradshaw, Tiger Storage. They were the absolute worst. I was able to transfer my reservation here with the help of staff who were just fantastic. They saved my move. I will never understand how people companies like Tiger Storage stay in business. Uhaul Moving and Storage of Mather will have all my real estate staging moves from now on. Thank you.

Comment: Ive never had a bad experience with U-Haul, but I guess theres a first for everything. I booked a reservation online, and was rerouted to this place the next day because the truck wasnt available at that time (so why does it say its available online???). Anyways, I showed up to check in and the lady (Ariella) didnt even acknowledge me standing in front of her, so I asked if I was supposed to check in there and she nonchalantly told me Ill get to you in a minute. Two minutes go by of her typing on the computer before she checks me in. The process took forever and she let me know that the truck is on empty for gas, so that I have to drive to the gas station and fill up the truck myself... Mind you the gas station is right across the street and they give you a fuel credit, but thats so unprofessional. I have to go through the truck pre-checklist plus fill up gas on MY time (3 hour window). I had a hard time locating the truck because it wasnt parked in the spot its supposed to be, it was parked next to customer parking... Luckily, I got the truck back 8 min before my reservation ended and checked out. The checkout process on the phone was weird and I spoke to the same lady for clarification, but we wound up having to checkout at the counter instead. Going over my receipt/refund was also confusing, but luckily once I was home and sat down to look at it myself everything was clear. Overall, I had to rush and her explanation for things was confusing.

They take zero responsibility for brake ins and stolen vehicles and trailers as well as a catalytic converter. They have cameras but said they dont know how to access them and are not responsible for unknown people having a gate key. They will not give corporates number or pay for any of the damage. This uhaul is a joke as is their employees and managers.

Comment: I dont recommend using the vehicle storage thats offered. My RV was vadalized/broken into twice in the 18 months I had it there. The fences visible from the parking lot are very secure, but the back fence that backs up to neighboring businesses and their parking lots is easly accessable to theives is very low and easy to climb over. And, the security cameras do not monitor that area. Vehicles are not secure here. Ive noticed break ins occurr on severeal vehicles on the same night. So, when the theives come, they spend a lot of time there going to each vehicle. Cad. converter was also just recently stolen form neighboring RV a week before my RV was broken into again.

Comment: AVOID THIS COMPANY - I chose another company with higher rates for similar size storage only because the staff was so rude and incompetent. I called the customer service number and the representative that answered confirmed this is a corporate owned location and the should not be requiring the extra items (documentation) in order for me to store there. Went back the next day and the manager still insisted on a non-relative (who does not live with me )name, phone number and address for marketing purposes. Should I really be expected to subject friends to unwanted requested solicitations because I wanted to pay for storage each month? Not even going into how they spoke with and interacted with me while on site. Previous experience, rented one of their moving vans (buyer beware) size of the truck is not the length of the cavity that you get to load with furniture but also includes all the was up to the front bumper. PENSKE provide the loadable area in the pricing. The truck died in transit to my destination (45 miles total) with a bad transmission. OK I get it, things break, I called for assistance and they had the loaded vehicle towed to my destination. 3 days later the truck was still sitting in my driveway and they had the nerve to call me and state they were charging me for keeping the truck an extra 2 days. I wouldnt even buy a box there.

Comment: I should have read reviews first. I scheduled to have my hitch and wiring installed. My appointment was for 11:30am and I called earlier that morning to see if they had anything earlier. I was told no but I would be in time as the installer only has 1 wiring job ahead of me. Ok fine. I drop my truck of at 11 and as dropped off with my wife at 1pm. My truck is in the same parking spot so I was a little concerned. Beefier heading into the building I went to see no hitch was yet installed. I had to pick up my trailer by 3pm so I was quite frustrated. I went in and they explained the 1 job in front of me took longer than expected. I ended up having to rent a truck, at full price, to get my trailer since they messed up. I drive my trailer back to the building to change it over to my truck. This was at 2:30pm now. Almost done with wiring they said. Mine also was giving them problems. My wife and I sat and waited. Now an hour has gone by and he says ok all done. Ok great were hungry and thirsty. Hook it up and it didnt work. We then waited for them to figure it out unto 7:30pm. No food no water nothing offered. Finally at 7:30 I had to pay cool prove for another truck to get it home. A week later I had to have another company install the wiring correctly. They wouldnt fix what uhaul did a he said it was a really bad job and they dont want any liability. A month later and I sit with wiring paid for not working. I was offered to drop my truck of again so they can take a look. Not going back ever! Not any Uhaul! They can keep my money for doing nothing but please dont let it happen to you!
