Comment: My heart is pounding..I just had Laurie-the manager run out of office.screaming at me.i am a srnior-disabled..with asthma+heart issues..whatever is bugging her..that is not the professional way to talk to disabled customers..not the 1st time she has yelled at me.why would I b yelled at like a bad child/or drunk teenager... especially since they know I disabled..this has been brought up before . She is blaming me..for whatever..her card daysI can help you.really...Ive been here a couple of months..I was told to park in a certain place..other people park where they want....Im not having same experience as others......her-being a grown adult should b kind& talk nicely to disabled Senior customers..not go-off on them ...this is just wrong ..3rd time shes done this..yelled at me in office too !!I shouldnt have to sit here like now waiting for my heart to stop pounding

Comment: My partner and I were traveling to pick up a new travel trailer and needed help getting our hitch adjusted. Anthony was incredibly gracious and generous with his time and expertise, even though we were not there to purchase a U-Haul product. He had us back on the road in no time! We were very impressed with the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility as well. If I lived in the area I would absolutely return to this business for any moving or storage needs.

Comment: I was delayed two days because of truck vandalism and tow dolly problems. Transload and truck replacement took forever because the loaders were 16 hours late. Beaumont, CA Uhaul got a good truck and tow dolly for me and were great folks. The Vacaville Uhaul folks where I returned the truck were great! They fixed the agreement and extended the days and additional miles, removed the straps and chains from the tow dolly and got me out of the Uhaul yard quickly. Thanks to the Vacaville guys a five day ordeal ended on a positive note.

Comment: I rented a truck that I needed, with the agreement that it had to be back in 6 hours, for another customer who reserved it later in the day. I paid the full price that would usually be charged for 24hrs, out of desperation at the moment. I agreed because I needed it.I returned it within 3 hours, when I was done with my first trip, hoping maybe they could accommodate me with a smaller truck for the remainder of the 24hr period, since I was paying full price, and they had plenty small trucks. A small truck was also originally offered to me for a full 24hr period.I didnt make any demands and was not rude to anyone. Was just hoping maybe theyd help me out as a customer, given the circumstances. Rather than having an open discussion with me about it, I was basically immediately lectured and told that I agreed to the short rental, that they werent changing the contract, and that they didnt have to offer me anything outside of the contract CONVERSATION OVER.I told them I knew they didnt HAVE TO DO anything. I made a simple request and didnt understand why I was met with such resistance. The woman helping me was the ALL BUSINESS with a no customer service type personality, which is unnecessary. The business was empty and no one in line, as it was when I originally picked up the truck.Its a shame that no real customer service and friendliness is the norm these days. And I dont believe the customer is always right, but I do believe businesses should try, when they can.This is a newer storage business, clean inside and out, and nice facility.. Better customer service wouldve gotten repeat business from me, and referrals to friends for future business with them. I guess playing the hard role was worth to the person at the counter. Why help me with an available truck when you already have my money for a 3hr rental I guess, huh. Thanks Uhaul of Vaca Valley

Comment: ** UPDATED **Staff is rude and and had a tantrum when I would not sign the contract without seeing it. Price is NOT as advertised. Management refuses to correct issue with unit. From day one - the door on the unit is damaged and they refuse to fix it and expect me to pay to have my belongings moved to a different unit. I am VERY disappointed. I do NOT recommend this business in any way.
