Comment: I made an online reservation, that U-Haul place didnt have the truck, so the res was transferred here. I went by twice, no one there. No one returned my calls on the recording. I couldnt take a chance on not having a truck for the weekend move, so I went to the U-Haul on N. Tustin in Orange, they took care of me smooth and easy, like night and day!!!!

Comment: I understood that it was going to close at one PM, and I was slightly concerned, as I have never done this before, and there was absolutely no customer service. Now I know what to do for next time, however, when I had an issue It took an extra hour out of my already short time to fix it. Along with that I drove quite literally 21 miles. They charged me for every mile and did not tell me about gas. This could’ve all been fixed. If there was someone there to help and tell me because it was my first time. It is safe to say I will not ever be going to any U-Haul location again if no one is there. There was a service fee for just about everything I did and my $30 truck turned into $150. I feel cheated and I feel un helped. The only reason I took a U-Haul was to pick up $70 worth of appliances from Facebook marketplace, and the rest of my stuff. This was easily one of the worst possible experiences you could have. To improve for next time, instead of adding extra fees in forms of dollies and moving blankets; just be honest and just be direct because now I will literally never come here to this location again. Yes I understand. It was closed; however, who closes at 1pm? It’s a Thursday. it is now a Friday and I wonder why the truck without any moving help costed more than a brand new washer and dryer from facebook market place. I want my money back.

They did not call me, email me or try to get in touch with me before closing early.I called the uhaul number, the person picked up, I explained situation and he basically said You did not show up at 1:30, you did not call to let us know you where running late so we closed the store - he made it seem it was my fault.Now I was running a few minutes late, but is this how you treat a customer that has a reservation with you, and who the day before confirmed on the phone the reservation?They where also suppose to stay open to 3pm, makes me think right at 1:30 when they did not see me they decided to close up shop.All the guy on the phone said is that they will open tomorrow at 8am and I can pick it up then.Horrible customer serviceTook no responsibilityTried to put the blame on me even though it was clearly their faultIf you are reading this review let me ask you a question:On the sign on the door it says Hello all, sorry for the hours of operation lately....What does that mean... lately...Makes me think this is not the first time they have decided to close early.Even if I could of picked up the next day at 8am, what makes the guy on the phone so sure they will be open? Comment: I rented a U-haul and everything was great, BUT the holding deposit fee of $28.45 was never returned. I rented the U-haul on 10/12/19. I been calling the U-haul place about the holding deposit fee since 10/19/19. I spoke to Jerome and Mark and they both keep telling me the same thing that they are going to have someone look into it and someone will call me back, but as of today nothing has been done or noone has called me back to give me an update. At this point I feel that money was stolen from me. FRUSTRATING 😡

Comment: This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had renting a truck or a trailer. I needed a hitch that was a different size from the one on my truck, and I was taken care of very efficiently. The trailer was in excellent condition for the cross-country move that I was making. I wish I could remember the guys name, (Jerome?) because he was incredibly helpful and really made the process smooth.

To make a long story short we have moved with his help three times in the last four months and he had been extremely helpful and friendly and has taken a huge weight off my shoulders.
