Comment: So we go ahead and plan our move down to the fine detail, as you should. We pick up the truck the night before the move to have plenty of time since our movers are paid by the hour. Unfortunately, it was during a storm in California, which never happens! However, as we get the truck ready to start packing it in the morning, we realized it’s leaking everywhere from the top corners on both sides all on to the mother’s attic area. Obviously we can’t use this truck since all of our stuff will now be soaking wet. We call U-Haul and after 45 minutes of wasted time and paid movers, we find another truck and have to drive 45 minutes, each way to go get it. Nobody will answer the phone at the stores, so we still have no idea at this point what the compensation is going to be. This was a huge delay for us in our move and did I mention that the new truck leaked as well!?!? Then of course they went ahead and charged us an extra day since we were “late returning the truck from the original plan”! So now we’ve paid our movers extra time and only one person said they might comp us for $50 so trust and believe we will be following up on this! Hey U-Haul……..you can’t seal corners with silicone on metal! So moral of the story is, if you’re packing in a dry climate, but moving to where it’s going to be raining or even thick fog or snow, I would suggest running the hose for a good couple minutes over those top corners to make sure it’s not going to leak!

Comment: They charged us an extra 32 dollars when I returned within 24 hours which is what i was told and said nothing when I dropped it off. Now they are saying 20hour return. Shady. Will not be using them again.

Comment: When you need to haul away all your belongings moving state to state can be tire some but when you got to u-haul they make moving that much easier to get from one place to another in no time.

Comment: I wont penalize the location for having a worthless app, but if you have an Android phone, DO NOT TRY TO DO A SELF CHECK IN WHEN RENTING A TRUCK!! THE APP DOESNT WORK!! I had to use my wifes iPhone, which also wasnt a pleasant experience, but it at least worked.

Comment: We have used this several times renting various sizes of trucks and trailers. They have always been professional. It is so easy to rent and you can do it on-line. They will always ask about what vehicle you have firs to ensure what you are looking for will tow what you wan to. It always a safety matter. They are not trying to get you to rent something bigger than you need.

Comment: EZ MOVING SERVICES uses u haul on a regular basis and when we come into Menifee for a local move we use this U Haul because of there moving truck availability and how clean they keep there facility. even though they get really busy they always keep it timely and efficient.

Comment: First, my brother tried getting a uhaul here but since someone some where with the same name as him in New Mexico (weve never been there) had a late fee he couldnt. So apparently if someone with the same name as you owes uhaul money, anyone with that name is responsible for paying for it lol. During this entire process the guy there was very rude and not helpful at all. So we just put it in my name so we could get it over with.We then bring back the uhaul on Monday but what they neglected to tell us is that they were open on Sunday so that was the actual day to bring it back, not Monday. We ended up paying $380 in LATE FEES. For ONE day. And, of course, they were extremely rude on this point as well. Insisting they told us even though it wasnt written ANYWHERE on any of our paperwork (which we checked to make sure when we had it). Telling us a nice sarcastic well thats too bad So not only did we not get our deposit back we now owe them an extra $80.It would have been cheaper to run our truck multiple trips or just buy some junker truck just for the move itself. Ill never use this store or Uhaul again in my life if I can help it.
