First time big house move so I was nervous driving a 26’ truck!Cam helped me set up my reservation online & great tips in making pick up faster .Tony was great at pickup — the line got super long behind me but his energy stayed positive & helpful !Also, in drop off he helped me park the truck just before closing — even found my vape that fell out & ran it to me /emailed receipt && I was out of there !Thank you Tony && Cammile !

Comment: The most unprofessional and horrible experience ever!!! Anthony failed to complete my reservation. Ignored me and started to help and flirt with a female customer instead. His manager Anthony jokes and gesturing sniffing drugs off the counter top with a pen to get high, both also talk about smoking pot while other customers wait in line. I walked out felling disgusted. I called and canceled the reservation…They charged me a transaction fee…Greedy and clueless!!. I called Corporate and files a complaint. Hope that’s not the U-Haul culture.I would never use this location. Make sure to stay away from franchise locations like this one. search for Company owned. They trained their employees correctly.

Comment: This location as small as it may seem Excells in customer service! The team here that Ive dealt with have been nothing but professional and kind. They are through with equipment hook up and making sure everything works before leaving. Ive been in another location down the street and Id avoid this place like the plague because of the extreme unprofessional staff from hourly to management. This location is definitely a breathe of fresh air and redemption for horrendous previous customers service. Ill definitely be a returning customer to this location eventhough it takes me more time and inconvenience its worth not leaving with a bill and a headache. Thank you all staff at this location for being professional and helpful.

Comment: Please be honest about availability of trucks. I suspect I was forced to upgrade to a more expensive per mile truck. I asked for an 8’ truck for 2-3 hrs (and saw 4 on the lot) but the employee told me those were all reserved within the next few hours. When I returned 3 hrs later all 4 were still on the lot. Seems like shady business practice to make an additional 0.50 a mile. Have more integrity.

Comment: Staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. The truck was full of dog hair. When I asked to see the final charges, I was told Ill get an email later. The beginning mileage was off, so they overcharged me by a couple of dollars. If they are doing this to everyone who rents from that location, they are stealing hundreds of dollars.

Comment: 6 months ago, I was incredibly disappointed with the customer care at this location. During that visit, the two staff members couldnt be bothered to even interact regarding my rental. Today, was an entirely different situation!The gentleman working there today was extremely pleasant and quite helpful. He helped me quickly process my rental paperwork, and was highly professional throughout. I will definitely be returning to this location and hope to work with this staff member again.

Comment: I really didnt care for their manager. She was very hostile and aggressive and I felt I was sorely mistreated. Overall, it was a horrible horrible horrible rental experience, and I hope to God Uhaul gets wind of how disgraceful they are being represented at this one location. Ive used Uhaul for decades, but save yourself the headache and just go a few blocks north on this same road. Theres 2-3 other Uhauls on the same street, only the other locations actually treat you like a respectable humane being (and no, the other locations are not paying me to say this).

Comment: The manager here is RUDE and they do not have a restroom that customers are allowed to use. My husband who has cancer (when he needs to go he really needs to go) and when he asked to use their restroom she said they dont have a public restroom. I explained to her my husbands situation and even told her he could pee in his pants if he didnt go right away. She had the nerve to tell me there was one down the street at the gas station and that it was a liability issue (lie) if he used the restroom. No wonder this place has so many terrible reviews. There is a Uhaul we passed on our way here, wish we had reserved there, ugh!!!

Comment: Rented on the 25th and returned it the same day and paid cash. Not only did they overcharge us but later that day they created a second invoice stating we picked up on the 25th and returned on the 29th (never happened) and made a promissory note that we had to pay within a few days. Called customer service and they are horrible. Created a case said a manger would contact me within 72 hours of course I heard nothing. 7 days later I call again and they said there was never a case created, mind you I have the case number they gave me. Talked to the manger and he was so rude and finally said he would take care of it. I asked for proof that it was taken care of and no longer in collections to damage my credit and he said he cant do that. He has nothing to send me as proof. This company is a joke! Still waiting to find out if it was actually taken care of.

Also lied on the contract on when I actually rented the trailer . Seems like they have a system on ripping Temecula residents off if you look at the other reviews .Your minimum wage employees will be back to selling crack when your company fails on front street ! Comment: I called Doug at U-Haul Old Town Temecula CA branch and explained to him that I had a gift certificate because I was over charged by U-Haul on my last rental and he asked me for my certificate number I explained to him that when I was given the certificate I was told by the u-haul employees that I just needed to give my name and email address he told me he would not honor it told me to go F**k myself and told me he didnt want to do business with me and to take my business else where so I called and made a reservation with Penske however after thinking about it for a day I decided that not everyone at every U-Haul acts like a child like Doug so I called the guys at the U-Haul at 25086 Jefferson Ave Murrieta, CA they were excellent and they honored my gift certificate that I was given by the Old Town branch. I dont know who would actually want to deal with Doug at Old Town Temecula U-Haul my guess is that he was picked on as a child and beat up on the play ground. Next time I call U-Haul I will def be calling the guys on Jefferson st they def know how to treat their customers as for Doug he lost my business for Life.

First day extended my drop off time without charging a full day and then worked it out for me to keep the truck and extra day when i didnt get the move all done...
