Comment: By far the cheapest option compared to the other companies like Pack Rat & PODS. 27 foot long trailer. As long as you pack it to the top and make sure you tie down everything as you go, you will get an entire house in the trailer. The drivers are awesome. The call center is super helpful! Highly recommended!

Comment: I used u-pack for my cross country move from Chicago to Southern California and it was the best decision I ever made! They were half the price of long distance movers and 30% less than renting a truck and moving myself. They held to their quote and moving times. They were very responsive and scheduled the move with 1 weeks notice. The container pick up and drop off was timely. Customer service was helpful and friendly. My things arrived damage free. I highly recommend!

Comment: We recently moved from CA to TN. I researched all possible options to move our belongings, and after careful consideration, I chose U-Pack. I could not be more happy with their service. The drivers were amazing, they were prompt, courteous, and went above and beyond what I needed them to do. We just unloaded our first trailer today and they promptly pickup the empty trailer and dropped the second trailer. I looked inside, and everything traveled fine! These days, moving is more stressful and expensive than ever. U-Pack is a great value when you compare them against all other options including U-Haul, Penske, etc. If I ever have to move across the country again (and I hope I don’t), U-Pack will be my first and last call.

These guys are awesome, Super responsive and professional. Our items were stored for over a year 5is time and when we unpacked everything was great! Comment: We have used Upack twice now for cross country moves (Florida to California, then California back to Florida) and Pack-rat once, Upack is by far superior in all areas. The Orange California facility is very professional and easy to load/unload the pod. Excellent communication from Upack which makes a very stressful event run smoothly vs. zero communication from Pack-rat. On both occasions using Upack we used professional movers to load and unload our pod at the Upack facility. Pod arrived exactly when promised and in excellent condition, would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Comment: Wow, U-Pack was great. I Moved from California to N Carolina and Im glad I went with them instead of doing one of the pod companys. I ended up using more room than I thought I would need, but it was easy as all I had to do was pay for the additional linear feet on the trailer. Even with the additional feet it was less expensive than the closest pod quote I had gotten.

Comment: Nice people,they required us to reserve a time and date for our u pack when we got there on time it wasnt ready we waited 30 minutes for a driver to bring it out for us to load up on moving day. It did however arrived on time to the new state, but they did not call us to let us know.Much of my stuff was wet from weather the top of the trailer was fabric.it did not protect anything two lamp shades were destroyed from water. Luckily we shrink wrapped our beds couches and most of our boxes were plastic containers.otherwise they too would have been damaged because they were wet on the outside.

The product they sell is well-priced and seems like a good idea, but the execution at this office is inexcusable.To sum up, surly customer service and gross incompetence make me wary of ever using UPack again.I had a somewhat odd setup (made necessary by my apartment complex) that I proposed for my move: drop off two ReloCubes one day, then the next day pick up those two ReloCubes and swap them for more empty ones. I called dispatch at this local service center and reiterated this plan a few days in advance. On day one, I was given four ReloCubes, despite my calls and being quoted an extra fee for the schedule I had proposed. I would have been charged that fee too, unless I had brought it up later down the line. So I loaded my four cubes.I called to have them picked up and was told they would be picked up between 12 noon and 8PM. This worked because my moving labor was leaving by noon or earlier. To my surprise, a forklift showed up at 1030 AM. We told them we weren’t ready and the driver said they would come back in an hour. I called two hours later, only for dispatch to tell me they wouldn’t be able to make it back that day, and that he had never told me that the forklift would be there between 12 noon and 8PM. How did I get that time frame in my head, then?Some back and forth with dispatch was unproductive, so a call to corporate led to us getting a discount on a guaranteed delivery date, which was an excellent fix for this first issue.One day into our move, when I had already driven 400 miles, I found out that the UPack tracking system had lost track of one of our ReloCubes. For the next three days nobody had any clue where 1/3 of my stuff was!In the end, all my things got to the destination on time and in one piece. It seems that I needed to be constantly vigilant during a process that should have gone off without a hitch.Consider other options if you can, or be prepared to watch UPack like a hawk all through your move.

Comment: We moved across the country using Upack. We filled the containers ourselves at their location, and planned to do the same at the other end. We bought an extra 30 days of storage while we found an apartment and then changed our minds and had the cubes delivered to our new place. Despite our changes everything went smooth and it was still very cheap. Every person I spoke to was helpful, and knowledgeable about the service. The delivery even happened in the window they said it would. We will be using them again. Highly recommend!

Comment: We moved from Huntington Beach, CA to Boise, ID end of June 2019 and arrived to our new home August 1st 2019. The U-pack trailer was huge and as long as you pack really well...sturdy boxes and fill the trailer to the top...you can fit all your stuff. If you can be lenient on the delivery time and drop off - then Id use them for sure. It was way cheaper to use one big trailer than renting 2 U-hauls for our 5-bedroom home. Plus, it was lovely to just take our time and travel a bit and drive our own cars up to Boise.They also give you a solid 3-4 days to load and unload. They were great about working with us on pick-up times. Just call the local dispatch and let them know if youre running late. Communication will save time and money.I liked having the extra time to unload. My wife and I took our time and slowly unloaded, placing things where they needed to go instead of scattered everywhere when having tons of people help and having to rush to finish the unload so we could return a truck...as with U-haul...Id use them again in a heartbeat! Ive always driven my own trucks when Ive moved before...Penske, U-haul, Ryder...but, Id choose U-Pack for an easy stress free move.

Comment: Absolutely the worst service ever in a moving company. If you are moving to Prescott AZ DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Our furniture was to arrive on May 28. We checked out of hotel after calling movers that confirmed it would be delivered that day between 12:00 and 4:00. No truck showed up so we had to check back into hotel. Next day they called and said it would be deviled today between 12 and 4. Again we checked out of hotel and waited. We had no furniture so no place to even sit down. About 3 in the afternoon a truck showed up to pickup our trailer which still had not been delivered. Again we called and again we had to check back into hotel. Next day same scenario, a truck showed up to pick up the empty trailer which had still not been delivered. Back to hotel, next day talking to dispatch and was told the same thing. Guess what it finally arrived at 10:00 pm. We had scheduled people to unload every night and every day no trailer and had to cancel. But now we had our furniture but could not unload it because they forgot to put the ramp inside the trailer. Finally they had someone bring out a ramp Friday afternoon, to late to unload. So Saturday we were able to have someone unload the trailer and that after noon I got a text of when they could pickup the trailer and a second text of how the service was. If your moving to anywhere in Arizona I suggest you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Comment: It was the most economical and convenient way to move. Only thing that was needed is Saturday loading but I worked around it. Easy to order and easy to load. It fit a lot of stuff too. Items will shift during the move so I recommend that all the stuff is in the box nice and tight, if not they need to be strapped so not to be damaged during the move.

Comment: Excellent service, a 28 trailer can be used as little or as much as required, and you only pay for what you use. Cost less than driving a rental truck, and has WAY more room for your household items. Highly recommend.

Comment: U-Pack made my movie very easy! I moved from California to Utah. The cost was very similar to getting a moving truck. Because I could drive my regular vehicle, I made the trip in one day versus having to spend a night at a hotel halfway. This is the way to go when moving across states!

Comment: We read through a lot of reviews for a lot of moving services before settling on U-Pack. We moved from campus housing in CA to a condo in NM. We used 2 cubes for our 2 bedroom apartment and it was sufficient space. NB: we didnt move a couch or any large appliances.In general, U-Pack service was great for us. We had originally requested a drop-off date for the 2 cubes within a week of our order but they werent available so they recommended that we call the terminal/local service center after placing the order to see if they could accommodate us. In the end, we were able to get the cubes one day earlier than the order initially stated. They were pretty good about communicating delays in the drop-off with us----it was a very rainy day and the trucks headlights werent working so he came 2 hours later than our window, which we were fine with because a) theyd let us know of that and b) safety is important.Their pick-up happened on the day we requested and they delivered the cubes to NM before we got there and held them at that terminal till we were ready for them to be delivered to our parking lot. Courteous drivers on both ends, courteous dispatch and communications people at both terminals.We emerged with only the lid of a plastic crate broken. Probably slightly poor packing skills on our side but we did watch that cube kind of get slammed to the asphalt upon delivery in NM so who knows? That was the worst of it though, so all in all, Id say it went well. We spent some money and a lot of time on tying things down so they wouldnt shift too much. Did a great job with one cube but not so well with the other. Id recommend packing some tiny boxes so you can fill in the gaps at the top or side of the cube and reduce shifting. Invest in some paracord rope.All in all, price was good (way better than PODS), delivery and transit were great, and people were polite and helpful. If you can manage packing and unpacking the cubes on your own, U-Pack would be a good choice.
