Other than their website saying they were open on July 4 so I set up an appointment for that morning but when I got there they were closed, it was a good experience. I had to wait for the parts since I dont have an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy but I expected that. Friendly people and phone now charges.
My Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been a very good phone . I had accident with the phone which resulted in broken screen. They replaced the LCD along with the battery which I might add that I didnt realize it was part of the package.! This thing is better than new and it was only 3 hours. Thank you for the great and friendly staff and awesome job. Highly recommended...
I went in to have the back of my new Samsung replaced. I arrived after the cut off time of doing a repair, they did it anyways. In less than an hour I had a new back that matched what I originally purchased. They were incredible. Good customer service, knowledgeable, friendly and quick service. I would recommend to anyone. Not sure if its a one off, but as a first time customer here I was not impressed.The price I was given via email from a store employee was no where near the cost I was given in the store. The employee told me it would be $216.58 plus tax to have the glass on my Note 10s back and screen replaced. Once I got to the store an employee told me just the main screen is almost $300 by itself, but I could get a free back glass replacement if I signed up for their service program 🙄
These folks are the best. I don’t know how they fixed my phone so fast! Super convenient, they try to save you $ by simple fixes first, instead of charging you for something you may not need! They were swamped and still managed to get mine done within 2 hrs, even sooner! I can’t thank this team enough! Thanks you guys!
When the screen on my Pixel 4a was cracked, I looked up which shop would be recommended to fix it. This is the one that popped up as being Google certified for repairs. Overall, the cost to replace the screen was reasonable, no hidden fees. The process was simple, and service was fast. At least, it would have been fast, had there not been a last minute issue with the screen, that required another replacement. This was mainly due to how fragile the screens can be while installing. It seemed like the screen was popped out a little bit, and they tried to quickly press it back in, this caused some of the pixels to break and create a ink splotch effect at the bottom of it. Despite the issue with the installation, I would say the service was good, and that I would trust this shop with any other phone repairs I might have in the future.
This was my 2nd time having a phone repaired here for different reasons, and again my expectations were exceeded. I showed up with a broken sim tray (it broke in the phone and couldnt be removed) at 5:45pm on Sunday. He said come back in 30 minutes and it would be fixed. 30 minutes later he replaced the tray as well as the broken glass back of the phone. Great job!
I went in to get my phone screen repaired on Sunday and the website says says they have the parts for my phone in so we head over. They tell us they don’t have the part in stock but they will by Wednesday and so they have us pay half and say they’ll call us when it’s back. Comes Thursday evening and they haven’t called at all so we call them and ask. They at first say they have the part then we tell them the information for the stuff we had planned for us to come back in to get the phone repaired. They then say they don’t have it in stock and we tell them that since I am going a trip to cedar point and will need my on phone the trip to contact my family while we are there that if the part isn’t back by tomorrow we won’t do it because we leave Saturday morning. So we get a message early in there morning that the part is in stock so I bring the phone over at about 1 pm and they say the phone will be fixed by 2-3 and they will message my dad when its done. It’s 6:3pm and we finally get a message that the phone is fixed so we go pick it up. We get the phone and it has plastic over it covering the screen (which I don’t have a problem with) so we get home and turn on the phone and the screen functions just fine but they did a very messy job and the fingerprint scanner (which worked before) doesn’t work anymore. The repair was $200 dollars and wasn’t really worth it and seemed kinda scam-ey. I regret it and wish I just threw a screen protector on it and called it good. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend going there to get really anything repaired.
These guys are fantastic. Had an old Galaxy 7 phone that I was passing on to my 83 year old dad because his old phone died. I tried factory resetting the phone myself, but it wasnt working. I took the phone to my local Verizon store and they were not able to help me there either. I took it to uBreakiFix and they spent a good 15-20 minutes on it and got it all reset for me and didnt charge me. Great customer service. I will definitely bring back phones to have fixed if I ever have the need.
Fantastic business. Brought my wifes Galaxy S10 in with a fractured screen. They said 2 1/2 hours for the repair but sent me a text that it was complete in under 2 hours. The price was the cheapest in town and the work is fantastic. The repair was $274.99. Genius Phone Repair quoted me, Very high $400s probably close to $500. They also said 5 business days. This place did it for almost half the price in 2 hours.
Ive changed my review to less than favorable. After just a day and half my phone screen has all kinds of lines through it make it hard to see what you are reading. Also phone gets super hot to the point you cant hold it. Very disappointed in the work performed. For $200.00 I would expect a little better quality in there work.
Daughter took her phone to the Wyoming MI location. They did a nice job but based on their website, the battery replacement should have only been $69.99. They charged me $100.00. False advertisement. They did not offer to refund the $30. They said they are part of a franchise and that the cost is based on that franchise. Told them they need to fix their website. Didnt feel like arguing with them about making up the difference so.... here you go. Becareful doing business with this place if you are pricing work through their website.
The gentleman at the store was wonderful! He explained pricing, the process and an accurate time quote for us to come pick up our iPhone 8 Plus. I received a text saying the phone was ready for pick up, with store hours and a contact number. The screen had been completely shattered and now it looks brand new! Keep up the great customer service.
I am way too accident prone (dropped phone in water once and shattered my screen completely a second time) and uBreakiFix has come to the rescue each time. Knowledgeable, fast, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend their service but I am hopeful I will stop being clumsy and will not have to see them again. If I do have another issue with my phone, I know exactly who to visit.
No bad experience, I picked my galaxy s10+ up next day they replaced screen and camera. Price hurt but that was expected for a 1000.00 phone.I would recommend them to anybody. I called mayve 10 other companies around grabd rapids and they had the best prices for sure abd best reviews.So thumbs up to this company 🙌 👌- mike
Person at front did not wear mask properly. Very unprofessional and not trustworthy. Would NOT recommend to any Google Fi people. I called at 1pm to verify they had a new screen for my phone in stock, I was told yes and it would take 2 hours. I get to the store at 4:40 pm and was told No, I need 2.5 hours and was told I could leave it overnight.... Lied to, then told to trust them with my phone overnight???? Horrible customer service. Do not recommend
We dropped off a Nintendo 2DS XL with a broken screen about three weeks ago with a gentleman that said they would be able to repair the broken screen it had. He stated they would have to order a screen and someone would be calling us for an estimate. After two weeks, I called them to ask about the status of the repair. I was told that the screen was due in the next day and it should be ready for pickup. The next day they called and told me that the repair was more challenging than expected and it would not be completed for a couple days yet.We received a call from them today where we were told that they had replaced the screen and that we had two options: Option1, let them continue to try to repair the 2DS which now has a new screen in it but cant seem to get it working and would likely cost upwards of $180. Option 2: we pick it up and owe nothing - but they didnt know if they could return it to the condition it was dropped off in. Since a new 2DS XL is retailing for $150, we decided to go pick it up and we spoke with the technician that was working on the device.He basically said they offer no guarantee that the device wouldnt come back to us in a worse condition than they received it in since the whole process of fixing something that is broken doesnt always mean it doesnt gets broken worse. I was like SAY WHAT? He then stated that they were even debating buying a used one and trying to cannibalize another used one for parts to fix this one. I would not recommend this place to anyone with video game console issues for repair. Horrible communication.
I was on the phone with Samsung for over two hours one day and talked to four different customer service representatives over a three day span. Each representative told me something different for my tablet issue. Last I was directed to mail it in for service at a minimum cost of $65 and a 7-11 day turn around time. Instead I stopped in to uBreakiFix and they were able to fix my tablet the same day free of charge. AWESOME service, grateful for their help!
I took impeccable care of my pixel 3A, bought just last Black Friday from the Google Store. When the speaker phone/ringer speaker stopped working, Google told me to bring it to these guys to have the speaker fixed. The website offered a van that comes to you (which I selected) but thats not what I got. I had to bring it to them after waiting 3 weeks for a part. I dropped it off overnight and when I came to pick it up in the morning the screen had a crack!!! Steve put a complimentary screen cover on it (it was for a different phone and lots of dust in it) and denied that it was cracked, even saying, How do I know it didnt have a crack when you dropped it off? I was so appalled, I stood there sputtering that it wouldnt have qualified for the dag-gone warranty. I knew he was hoping I would swear at him, but I just stood there staring at the guy like how can you lie straight to my face then he offered to fix it if I waited a few hours. I dont trust this place, so I left.Within 2 weeks I could also tell that the battery no longer lasts the 2 and 1/2 days per charge that it did prior to them keeping it overnight. I now have to charge it daily. I am absolutely devastated, disgusted, and disappointed in this business.I gave feedback to both Google and Ubreakifix. No response from either entity, not surprised.Steve, who got my well-cared-for screen and battery? They certainly didnt come back with my phone.Edit: they have time to look up the appointment history and discredit me in the reply, but not enough time to do a proper job.
The hinge on my laptop had broken and I went to this location to get it fixed. to replace the hinge, theyd also have to replace my laptop cover and I had a bunch of stickers on it. i knew Id probably just lose all the stickers to fix it and i was okay with that. but my tech, John, carefully pried them up and placed them on the new cover. Im honestly touched... its one thing to repair something for someone but its another thing all together to preserve something thats sentimental to another person. Thank you guys...
Absolutely terrible costumer service. Dropped off phone for repairs and they said they could not guarantee it would be finished that night because it was only a few hours to close. They said that they open at 10am and it would be ready in the morning. No problem. Fast forward to the next day where I have gotten no contact yet, I finally called to ask when it would be done and they told me within the hour! When I called 2 hours later after receiving no contact from them I was told 30-45 more minutes. After another hour I decided to check again and what did they tell me? 30-45 more minutes. When I finally picked it up they told me that they had a computer issue earlier that set them back, then why not say that and why keep leading me on and waste my whole day waiting? My girlfriend and I had both brought our devices to be fixed their previously but we will not be coming back.
Nothing but professional. I was helped at the Kentwood store twice, and the Wyoming store on Byron Center was also as helpful as could be. I am saddened that 2 years of notes were not backed up by Google. Is there ANY way, Ive got money to pay....to retrieve them? Phone is fried
Had a recent experience here and it went very well! I came from out of town and was in quite a bind (time wise, mainly) and the staff, especially, Al, was very polite, professional, and accomodating to my circumstances. They fixed my phone screen quickly and I feel very confident that they did a good job! Will come back if I’m ever a ditz with my phone again!
I brought in a tablet to get the screen replaced. The initial service was friendly and fast I received lots of updates along the way. I got my product back the very same day, for obvious reasons. The new screen had visible dust trapped underneath which was noticeable once removing the plastic wrap placed on by the store. I returned my tablet a few days later as is within my warranty. The repair tech was rather standoffish and not very willing to help. He even stated “Well, you can only see the dust when the screen is off.” I then asked why the screen wasn’t flush and all the way on my tablet the tech said the frame of my tablet was bent which is not listed anywhere on the notes from my first repair receipt. The note actually states specifically my tablet is in excellent order only has minor visible wear and tear.The tech had clearly not attempted to fix the error even after I returned the tablet. I had to wait a day and a half to even hear back from them about it. While I was in store the repair tech then shattered the “new” screen in what I can only guess was an attempt at cleaning it. He came back to the front of the store to tell me “I’ll have it next week.” I call them two days into the next week to have Steve tell me it will be done later that same day. Now I made the mistake of stating “Ok I’ll just come get it tomorrow.”After realizing this store is open pretty late I contact Steve again and ask if I can come get my tablet. He tells me he stopped all repairs and moved on to a new project once I stated I was coming the following business day to make the pick-up. No updates on my repair and then it still is going to take an additional business day after the quoted time to complete the repair. The customer service rep Austin was actually great and if I could give him alone 5 stars I would. My experience got a bit shaky once Steve got involved, which after reading other reviews this seems the norm. Overall a very mediocre rating seems deserved.
They were extremely helpful. Came in with my phone having problems charging. Everyone was super professional and friendly. Very knowledgeable and explained what could be causing the problem. Got it fixed with in the same day. Will definitely be going back with any other issues.
Did a great job fixing my screen for a reasonable price. Didnt push extra sales too much since it was my first screen crack. It did take them ~1 hour longer than initially estimated, but that was understandable since it was a busy weekend and there looked to be only one guy working at the time. Im just happy its fixed and I got it back same day.
The owner is a pretty awesome guy. Took my phone in to be fixed and thats exactly what he did. He took his time with it and didnt rush, which is what I liked. He also stayed passed his closing time to fix my phone completely, so that I could take it home the same day. Thanks a lot for your help, compassion and patience Gary.
We needed a Samsung S7 battery replacement and youd think we were asking for someone to rebuild a computer, it was so hard to find someone who was able. These guys took care of it easily! Very friendly, quick. And all things considered, affordable. Better than buying a new phone. In any case. They did a great job.
I brought my ps4 pro in to get the HDMI port replaced. Once i got it back, it stopped displaying again, so i took it back to have them fix it on warranty. They’ve had my ps4 for a month and haven’t done anything to it yet and won’t give me any useful updates.Update: they broke my ps4
They did an excellent job repairing my Galaxy Note 8. Super helpful from start to finish. They were spot on with the repair time, and answered several questions I had surrounded the repair...always kind and honest! I had to commute from elsewhere in Michigan and called the store several times to check in and each time the employee on the phone was incredibly patient and friendly! Would happily recommend either of their locations in the greater GR area. Thanks for all your help!
I was told, when I arrived at 6 pm, that they could not fix my phone screen before they closed at 7 pm. Understanding completely I then asked what I could do to make sure I get it back the same day. I was told to call before arrival the next day before 5pm and they would have it done. I called and was greeted very rudely by Steve Bishop who told me that there was no way it was possible. Very frustrating considering what I was told the day before. The employees need to be more informed and Steve needs to do something about his terrible attitude.
Edit: 2 star to 1 star, suddenly Im getting a bunch of spam text and emails and feel that due to my 2 star review my information was put on spam sites 😬😬broke my back glass on my Galaxy s20 ultra first I went to Kentwood but they didnt have my part so we went over to the Wyoming store, they fixed it very fast however theres deep scratches on my screen protector now and he updated my phone with out asking which has changed alot of my phone settings. I just dont feel like my device was handled with care
Took about 2 hours for a screen replacement on my Samsung S9. The replacement screen looks great - you cant tell that there was ever an issue. Full disclosure, this was one of the repair options given to me by my Verizon insurance policy. I had not visited here before, but I would visit again if need be.
Very unprofessional and poor customer service. Had an appointment and didnt get the appointment. Instead we had to wait 30 minutes, for us to even get nothing fixed. The old guy working on front was rude and didnt answer any of our questions. I do not recommend this place of interest. We went to Best Buy and got better customer service there instead. Overall terrible customer service and rude staff. Will not go to this place to get anything fixed.

Awful communication. I had to call once a week for over a month to get updates. They took apart my daughters tablet before they could even find the part for it. They never found the part and now it doesnt work. When it worked just fine when I brought it there, the glass was just cracked.
Do not bring your phone here. I brought mine and the screen developed a black spot with in 2 months. Went back for a warranty replacement. They had my for over a month and returned it to me completely non functioning. Feel like Ive been majorly ripped off. There techs dont know how to use there systems so they take forever on the computer. I asked for my phone back how they had it. Instead he sealed it so I would have to break the screen to open it up again and either fix it myself or have another shop try and fix. When I asked them to buy the phone off me they offered my 25 because it was broken by them!
Gary was great. I went to my appointment 15 minutes early before they opened and was waiting by the door but he wasnt wierd about it. I had a nice experience start to finish. It costed me $130 to fix the cracked screen of my Samsung Galaxy which did seem pricey but would have cost $300 to replace all together, so...🤷🏾♀️. The store was clean and smelled nice. Gary didnt try to upsell or sell anything I didnt ask for which I appreciated. If I break my screen again, I would return here because of Garys customer service skills. Thanks dude.

Got my phone fixed her, sorta last minute for a Christmas Eve, the gentleman/owner was very professional and kind. Had my phone even looking like new! Was so kind to even go the extra mile to add my screen protection on for me as well. Great prices! This will be the only place I go to from now on to get my phones fixed
I brought my phone in for a simple cracked screen. The technician Steve broke my phone whole repairing it. Brings it out to me and tells me to contact Asurion that since it was his mistake they would send me a free phone within 24 hours. Right after I left, I filled out my claim on Asurion.com. Then Asurion needed me to print and send in Affidavit with a copy of my drivers license. After I send it in, they told me that my account was under a 24 hour review. After calling Asurion 5x, I found out the issue was that I needed to turn off the Find My iPhone before they could proceed. Im cancelling my insurance after this. Asurion is highly incompetent and UbreakIFix should have helped me with the second insurance claim and made sure everything was set before I left their store. Instead of having me waste a whole day on their mistake.
This was the only place around me that was able to fixy Google Pixel 3xl. Being that its such a newer phone there arent many places that have the parts available. Great customer service and was very quick. I drove all the way from Lansing and my phone looks brand new. I would personally recommend to anyone looking to get their devices fixed for a very reasonable cost.
The owner offered to stay late to fix my Note8, because I drove from Lansing to have my Note8 screen replaced through Asurion. He was done just a few minutes before close, but I appreciate his quick, efficient, friendly service! Thank you so much!! Worth the drive, and with how clumsy I am, Ill probably be back! :)
I couldnt be happier with the service and the results of the repair on on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I had broken the screen. In about 3 hours it was fixed. The new screen came with a new battery as part of the repair. I felt the price was fair, the staff was friendly and professional and all promises were kept. I absolutely recommend these folks.
Very good service! I brought in a PC of mine that was not working, and they fixed it the same day that I had brought it in. On top of fast service, their prices are extremely low prices, and they replace the bad parts with high quality parts, too! In the end , UBreakIFix is the best place around to get your electronics fixed!
Came to my home, fixed my wifes screen on her Galaxy S7, and did a great job. I also had a laptop that I spilled water on that was not booting up, so I asked Gary to take it with him to diagnose it. 2 days later, he called me and said it was working, just needed to dry out using his dehydrator. He did not charge me and the laptop works just like it used to. I recommend you go here for your electronics repairs. Great service!
UbreakIFix was our 5th place to attempt to get service on an iPhone cracked screen. We were tired and frustrated. The owner was reassuring and extremely helpful getting our insurance coverage sorted out. The screen was replaced and two other problems addressed in an hour. We enjoyed a restful lunch at a nearby restaurant that he suggested. He saved our day and sent us home with smiles and a working iPhone!
Very happy with the service! I had an issue with my Xbox and I was told the problem wasn’t what I thought and we agreed to take a chance and it was a success! The quality is great and they’re so nice at the store and they want to make sure you have what you need at a great price !
I did a lot of research to see what place to bring my playstation. I dropped it off and they said they would run it as a diagnostic and get back to me and it would be fixed 7 days from when I dropped it off. 3 days later I received a call and they said it was the HDMI port and it would be done on the day quoted. I called them the day before the pick up date and they said it would be ready on the day they said. I then had to call them every day after that after not hearing from them and they just kept giving me bs responses saying the next day then the next day. They then said they did the HDMI replacement and it didn’t work and they were trying other things. Again, I had to call they didn’t call me to give an update. I then called 12 days after dropping it off and they claimed they were still working on it and they would let me know and they never called back. After 14 days of waiting they finally called and said they couldn’t fix it. I’ve have never had such worse service and feel like they didn’t really try to fix it. The only reason they are getting a one star is because I can’t give 0 stars. I broke it and they couldn’t fix it. I’d recommend you look at other places with better customer service and makes you feel like they did all they could.
I brought a phone in to get the screen replaced on 3/23/19. I got there at 10:20am. They said it would be about 2 hours. No problem. Thats what I had read. 2 hours, go by and I check back in with them. Not done yet. No problem. Ill shop a little more. This continues for 3+ hours. They finally hand me back my phone and tell me to call Assurion. THEY BROKE MY PHONE! They were completely UNwilling to do anything more. The Verizon store nearby told me to go back and tell them to fix it. When I went back, they said they didnt have the parts...YOU ARE A PHONE REPAIR PLACE! 5 hours later, Im without a phone. Mind you this is a business phone and we cant really be without it. Assurion is replacing the phone but what a joke. I will NOT be bringing a phone back to them. They should be called IBREAKANDIDONTFIX.
Brought my phone in recently to see about getting the charge port replaced. They ordered the part and attempted the repair. Unfortunately it didnt work due to some underlying damage they discovered. And they didnt charge me a cent!! Great and helpful group of folks at this shop. Ill definitely be back if I need any future phone repair(s). Highly recommned!!
Will never go to this store again. Their online system sucks and doesnt tell you if the parts are in stock at a particular store. When i got service done at this store, they completed services on my device without asking and tried charging me for it. When i called in to see what options i had, the store basically lied to corporate stating I knew beforehand of the services that were going to be done. I cant believe that Google would be okay with this type of behavior.
Could not express enough how GREAT they did at fixing my iPad. It turned out that it was not an easy fix...but they stayed with it until they got it done... right! And they didnt charge me any more for it, even thought it was a much bigger project than they thought ti would be. Way to go uBreakiFix! Im a raving fan!
Awesome people to deal with only complaint is I never got a call...but I also didnt have a phone so can hardly blame them! Theres a really nice easy device tracker on their site so I still was able to tell when it was done. Definitely will be back if I ever have an issue again.
Honestly my old MSI laptop was ready to be put out to the pasture. Preliminarily research showed it was a extensive repair. About a full hour of teardown, replace the component, and another hour to fully assemble the beast back together. Customer service was A+ and left voicemails when I couldnt get back to them on time. Thank for the good, hard work!
I brought a broken Wii in to get looked at, it took them a few days, but they came to the conclusion the disc was damaged, and suggested that rather than pay the 90 dollars to fix it, I go buy a refurbished one. THEY CHARGED ME NOTHING! to get my old unit back. Class Act!!!

2022-03-17This place was great. After getting multiple quotes from other phone repair stores we chose this one. Not only because they were less expensive but because they are an authorized repair facility for many different brands, so you get OEM parts. I was updated the whole time my phone was in there possession as to what was going on, which is a huge plus! Will definitely recommend.

2022-03-05Excellent service. Went in to get my charging port replaced. The guy took a look a the plug and said it might just need to be cleaned. He came back 5 minutes later and had the charging port cleaned for me free of charge. Will definitely return if I have anymore phone problems.

2022-03-07They fixed my s21 ultra screen and front camera in a couple hours for wayyyyyy cheaper then any other place I called by SEVERAL hundred dollars. HiGHLY RECOMMENDED. And hey I got 10$ off because my sister pointed out that the wall paper was upside down 🤣. Good people . Great service .

2022-04-30My boyfriend brought his phone in to get the screen fixed for an issue that is happening on almost every phone (I googled it and could scroll for 20 minutes finding different articles about the issue on the same kind of phone that came out all in the same week that the issue started happening to his) They took his phone and called me an hour later saying that they couldn’t fix it under warranty and it would be $400 because “he dropped and broke the screen”. When we went back to pick it up, we were in shock. They had completely destroyed his screen protector. It was all scratched, cracked, and air bubbles. Mind you, he has only had this phone for 3 months, and there was not a scratch on the screen protector. Without us knowing, they had called Samsung and told them that he broke his screen, so then they would not fix it with his warranty. They broke it, lied about it, and called Samsung behind his back and lied about it to get him out of his warranty for an issue that is happening to everyone with this phone right now. I will never be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone.

2022-05-07I set an appointment and came in today (saturday) because something was wrong with the connection of the screen on my HP laptop. In the first five minutes of being in the store, the guy who was helping me made 4-5 excuses as to why he might not be able to fix it.As he continued to ask me way too many questions and started gathering information that I had provided online prior, he asks do you have the power cord? I said shoot, no I forgot it. He continued to ask even more questions and about 5 minutes later he informs me that they wouldnt start working on until I brought them the power cord, which he knows wouldve taken me days to get. (btw, all the other computer repair stores Ive worked with have power cords on hand)All in all, just a bad experience in just the first 10 minutes of interacting with this store. Therefore, I canceled my appointment, grabbed my laptop and walked out. Just the look of the guy at the front desk was enough for me to not want to work with them.

2022-03-07Broke my entire screen that my phone wasnt responding. Went in around 2ish and they said they have it ready by 4. They game me a quick text around 4 and BAM fix like brand new. Was really happy with the service and how quickly my phone was fix.(Side not I had a Samsung galaxy 11+)
