They normally do a good job with oil changes and taking care of simple things like wiper blades or headlights. I feel like they are not quite as thorough as some other chains Ive been to, but you typically get what you pay for in that world. That is to say, their prices are reasonable.
Excellent Mngmnt. & Customer Srvc! And very clean garage. We go there for our oil changes, and they are always thorough and highly organized. Recently, my wife added the wrong washer fluid to the reservoir and it got clogged. These guys were able to easily fix the issue for free, whereas our local mechanic wanted to charge $90. A special thx goes to Derek at Uncle Ed’s for helping my wife. Uncle Ed’s got our business for a long long time. Thank you for taking such great care of our vehicles.
Zack, the store manager was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We were traveling through and needed a quick oil change and they got us in and out in about 10 minutes! This was our second visit and both times we’ve had great experiences. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming professional explained everything what they were doing before they perform the service listen to me when I told them the amount I would like to spend that is very valued as a customer especially because there are a lot of items that can and will enhance the performance of your car but not necessarily feasible at the given time. These guys rock they definitely represent the uncle Ed’s oil change family and they should be recognized normally I go to another place that I have gone to for quite some time and they have really shown to be a reparable honest business. The guys working there Zach, Derek and Dennis (I may have their names wrong) were extremely professional! They double checked their work and explained everything in great detail all the while getting me out of there in less than 20 minutes! I was nervous to have someone besides my father work on my vehicle, I have no regrets! I will definitely be back when I’m due for another oil change. I highly recommend this location! It’s very rare that I experience such great customer service at this level. Thanks guys!

Coming here for the first time I was scared I was going be push to buy stuff my car does not need but i was suprised that they did not do that and I love how they will show and tell me what going on with my car and what I should do to make it run more smoothly
The customer service was phenomenal. Dont remember the name of the gentlemen that helped me but he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is the price! Holy Molly! I have a 2018 Toyota RAV4, pretty generic vehicle compared to the German cars I have had before. It was $85 to change the oil... on a TOYOTA! That is absolutely insane and cannot bring myself to pay that much again. Best of luck and keep up the good work on customer service!
I showed up Friday, they didnt have my oil filter but they got it in Saturday morning for me. I showed up, got serviced and I felt like a valued customer. They had my hood up and closed again within about 10 minutes or so. Very friendly and knowledgeable crew. I would recommend to all my friends and family and feel comfortable knowing theyd be well taken care of there. Great job guys and thank you again!
I have a crazy busy lifestyle, really no time to make appointments and sit somewhere for upwards of an hour to get my oil changed so Uncle Ed’s works out perfect for me. Yesterday I went to two different locations in Ann Arbor, both were so busy I couldn’t get in. Showed up to this location today, they got me in immediately, did everything quickly so I could get back on the road. Incredibly professional, friendly, efficient. Best experience I’ve had with Ed’s.

With limited time and an annoyingly due oil change I tried Uncle Ed’s on Beckley here in The Creek. I am impressed and thankful for the gents there for the service I had done today. They’re quick, friendly, professional, an on point team and I hear through “the I94 grapevine” they’re way cooler than the uncle Ed’s gents in the zoo. 🤣 I’m totally kidding I’m sure they’re almost as cool as the Beckley Rd team. If you need your Volkswagen serviced in town come to Uncle Ed’s for sure! Very professional and quick service. Comparable price for a full synthetic oil change from the dealership without the drive to Kalamazoo. Worth the time and savings on gas.
I stopped by here after work, last minute decision because I saw they had an open garage and I’m so happy I did! They were super friendly, knowledgeable and took extra steps to make sure I understood what they were going to do. Def will be going back.

1st time here, thought it was just oil changes but to my surprise they do so much more! Logan and Dennis were great they checked all my tires and fluids, informing me about everything under the hood and I was still out under 10 minutes!! Absolutely outstanding speed and service.

Fast and Friendly! I was running low air in my tires and low on time as I ran errands between meetings. I wasn’t sure if I had time for an oil change with the bays being full, but they were up to the challenge to get me in and out with air in the tires and clean oil too! I was not disappointed or late for my next appointment, Thank you to the store manager and team at Beckley Road!

Very thorough. Very professional. They explained everything. They did try one upsale, but I expected that if they were to check everything. I keep our car in good shape and their single upsale reflected that. A little pricey comparatively speaking, but worth the care and attention.

I had a GREAT experience at Uncle Ed’s on Beckley road! The tech was very knowledgeable, personable, honest, kind and very helpful. He answered all of my questions plus some, and not once seemed irritated or made me feel dumb for my concerns. They got me in and out and didn’t break the bank! My service technician Jaquay was TERRIFIC!!! He did a great job fixing my maintenance issues, which has been on-going problems for me at least two months. He also explained very well what he had done, and we had a great overall conversation. I will be going back for sure!
I was in a pinch dont have many days off work to get service on my car and needed a oil change. Young man working there reassured me I could be in and out within my lunch break. Went in to get my oil changed. As soon as I pulled in the guys came up introduced themselves and started to ask me info about my car so that it could be serviced properly. They went ahead and checked what need to be checked. They explained and gave me recommendations on what need to be replaced and offered me some type of discount if I decided to go ahead with the extra service.i was kept in the looo of everything that was being done . They were super friendly, so helpful , soo fast and thorough. I left there feeling super satisfied with they service they had provided . IM planning on coming to this location for my future oil service .
I’ve brought my vehicles to Uncle Ed’s for over 30 years. They’ve always treated me professionally, been friendly, informative, answered all my questions, and addressed my concerns. They are such a great value, I’ve made sure my sons bring their vehicles there too.
I have been to this location for a routine oil change multiple times. It is always fast, efficient, and I even got a discount since my girlfriend has been working in the medical field during the pandemic! 5/5 highly recommended.
They are quick and comparable in price to other area oil changes. I’ll usually grab lunch and eat with while they perform the service. I’m usually done about the same time they are 8-10 minutes.

The staff at the Beckley Road shop is very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Always working with me on the details and instructing me throughout the process. So easy. Shop was incredibly clean and they have always been welcoming.
The technicians has a very impressive knowledge about the special needs for my Cadillac, and the unique procedures to access the engine and parts. There was no high pressure sales tactics which was made the experience enjoyable as well. Also the technicians were very thorough in advising me of the condition of all the mechanics inspected, which was helpful to me as I had just acquired this vehicle and had no knowledge about its history.I will certainly be back for filters that I didnt have budget for on this trip.

Quick visit for a lightbulb and fluid top off. Nothing fancy in that we had much work done. But awesome nonetheless. These dudes rock customer service. Zach needs a pay raise! Buy pizza and donuts for the crew!Shortest visit in almost two years, but I would drive an extra few miles to return to Uncle Eds off Beckley. I have had 5 cars go through this place (extended family included) and recommend them highly!!!!You will not be disappointed!
Paid 70$ for an oil change. They didnt check any other fluids, even though they told me they were going to. Didnt look to see if i needed a new filter, or if i needed any fluids so i would know. Then told me everything was topped off yet i had no windshield wiper fluid...never again. I can get better service for less money
I had a good experience here. The guy in charge was very professional and covered all of his bases. The other guys that worked on his team were also very effective and moved quickly. They practiced wearing gloves and face masks. Quick in and out with a smile
This shop broke my tire valve when performing their routine inspections. I would have thought they would have compensated my oil change or something of that nature for the time and inconvenience of having to go have a tire repaired by their lack of care, but I was wrong. They ended up covering the repair, but only after blaming the problem on the age of my vehicle. In the end I would have been satisfied with an apology, but I instead got a day of headaches and repairs. So much for a ten minute oil change!
Well, editing earlier post because I had to take my truck back. My truck used to leak oil months ago. but I got it fixed. After my oil change it is now leaking again. So I took my truck back hoping they could do something about it and they cannot. Cant do much for me at all. So now I have to take it to a full service shop. ..

One of the fastest oil changes I have ever had and nothing felt skipped. Never been dissatisfied after years. Will never go anywhere else.Those complaining on price did not get a general oil change, but you should bring in coupons and prepurchase your next oil change at a discount. Cost me $25.
They didnt have my oil filter in stock, so they quickly ordered one and I was able to get my oil changed later that day. Very friendly and professional.

Went in for a basic oil change and had my wipers replaced. The guys there got me in and out in ten minutes...literally. They kept me informed and were polite.

Not a happy customer. Spent over 100.00 on oil change, did not have air filter in stock nor would they blow mine out. Spilled oil in my engine which was burning and stunk while driving. My antifreeze is red and they charged me $6.00 to top it off and they dumped green antifreeze in. Will not be back.

$98 for a oil change with generic oil!?! they dont even carry fully synthetic castrol or mobile 1. needless to say i left. got it changed somewhere else for $59 with fully synthetic castrol. dont waste your money here.

Went into my trunk to change a bulb. Was unable to reassemble my trunk interior. Second time they have done this. I called and was told someone would return my call. They never did.

2020-03-03No wait time. The guys are super. They direct you over the bay, you park your car. Answer a few questions, and a person can be off and on their way in 15 minutes. Coupons can be sent to you email. No pressure decisions on options: based on mileage of vehicle. Or whats good on your wallet.Friendly staff, call out tasks in process, assuming it is safety related along with process completing tasks. Today; Zachary W. Manager on duty along with Derek A. Utility technician gets ya going with inspection of lights, break lights and tire pressure.Logan S. was below in the bay, draining oil; didnt see much of him till time pulling away. All 3 fellows smiling, sailor wave, see you again.

2022-02-09Car broke down near their shop, didn’t know what was wrong so I drove in to see if maybe I needed oil. They had let me know that a radiator hose was blown and I needed to not drive it, which was super helpful because I have no idea what to do when it comes to cars lol. They gave me a super quick oil change and even let me know I needed to change my air filter. The guys who helped me where super friendly and willing to help me. Thanks guys!
