Comment: I got sideswiped by a semi trailer, totaled my car. Got the new car and about a week later got swiped by a hit and run. Insurance sent me to Unicar. First impression front office girls were not so warm. Met Garren, (main guy) he fit right in with his girls..But i figured id give them a shot. Got the car back... Super nice work... about 2 weeks later i noticed a molding that kept lifting. Took the car back. no questions asked, Garren was warm and stopped his workers to take care of me. i was outta there in 15 mins. I really appreciated him. I would definitely refer Unibody... but note please everybody be careful who you let represent you... The front office still had the same... hello??? do you see me?? are you there vibe.. lol

Garen stayed in touch with me throughout the month long process which was appreciated. My car went in with a lot of damage and it came out of Unicar pretty close to brand new. They buffed out most of the ancillary scuffs and scratches, newly installed a lot of the damaged passenger front suspension/wheel/fender components and its like the car was never damaged. Garen was the most patient with me as I am very protective of my car and extremely picky with the quality of the work. Would reccommend.

I dropped my car off on Monday and by Wednesday it was ready. At pick up, I was very happy with the result so I asked Garen about a separate and unrelated issue. After determining that it would be a quick and easy fix, he immediately proceeded with the repair on the spot and free of charge. Less than 10 minutes later I was on my way out. Thank you, Garen!

Comment: I used this establishment to have my brand new car fixed after one of the doors was dented by a closing gate. They did a good job but there were details that needed to be taken care off. They took care of them and even afforded me a loaner while they were taking care of some minor details. I liked the fact that they stand by their work and, if something is not OK, they will own to it and provide an immediate fix. The customer service was top notch and I highly recommend them for your future car repair needs.

As a former customer I thought I could drop by to get a rough estimate on my wife’s car - I was told I had to make an appointment. I guess they’re making money hand over fist. In addition they wanted to charge me $1000.00 on my car to remove a minor dent. I paid another body shop $250.00

Comment: I have been waiting for my car since April of 2022! My experience so far has been HORRIBLE! I been very patient and every time they said my car would be ready something else would come up!The first time I picked up my car it had some issues that were never there to begin with. The gas pump was not working and there was dent on my car, the steering wheel was not working properly nor the seat belt! I took the car back and after waiting a couple months they called me to say the car computer was not working and now I had to wait for that. It’s ridiculous! I been calling to follow up and they were rude! I was told to take the car as it is! Why would I do that? Is their job to fix it! I am still currently waiting for car! Last time I spoke to them I was told the part they are waiting for was going to arrive January 6, I called to follow up and the front desk told me they didn’t have any invoices. I am very disappointed and upset with this business! I am still currently waiting for my car and hoping to get a call back!

Comment: I got into an accident and had substantial damage to my front bumper, hood, lights, windshield, and roof. I filed a claim with my insurance and decided to schedule an inspection with Unicar Auto Body. Ive never filed a claim with insurance or had to get my car fixed at an auto body shop, but Unicar made it extremely easy! They were easy to work with from the moment that I called to bring my car in. They let me bring it in anytime during working hours which I did. I had no idea that when I took it in I was going to hand my car over to begin repairs. Upon arrival, they called for a rental car pickup, which they worked through with my insurance, and assured me they would repair all damages. The process was extremely easy! I was in and out of there and picked up my rental car in no time. A week later my car was ready. I dropped of my rental car and got a ride back to the shop. I was worried on how it would turn out as Ive heard many horror stories of other auto body shops through friends and families. However, my car looked and was in amazing shape! All damages were fixed and the car was practically brand new. I did a very detailed inspection and couldnt even even tell that my car was previously hit. I couldnt thank Unicar enough for doing an amazing job. Extremely happy to have my car back in such a quick turnaround and amazing condition. Car was even washed and detailed which I greatly appreciated. I really appreciate Unicar for making the process extremely easy and in how kind they were through the entire process. Its good to have a body shop I can now always rely on going forward

Comment: My experience with Unicar Auto Body was amazing because of Sam the Man! He hooked me up with the best parts for my vehicle and he had my car detailed even tho it wasnt part of my insurance deal. I must note that my insurance company Anchor General was such a disappointment and charade. Sam had to put up with my lousy insurance rep and stagnant payments from them. Sam also put up with an impatient customer I. Nevertheless, Sam got the job done and yes it took a little while to fix (great work takes time) but he helped me out with a free rental! Sam went above and beyond to get my car fixed right and genuinely helped me out because he is awesome.Thank you SAM! xoxoxoCH

Comment: This shop is good if you are sending them a high-paying insurance repair, anything other then that and the service is poor. I have sent them two different cars, both cash pay, and both times I was made to feel like a second rate customer. i wont be back.

Comment: I am posting this review as a warning for anyone considering taking their vehicle to this shop, DO NOT! Its been 3 weeks and they still havent completed work on my vehicle. When I initially went in they said it wouldnt be long to fix it, would offer a payment plan and seemed like a great group of people. Fast forward a week later, they said it would take another week and that they wont accept a payment plan... Called them today when they said it was due and now they are saying it wont be until next Wednesday! Ive never had such a negative experience with any organization, I regret not having researched into these guys more and just taking it at the suggestion of my insurance agency, which says something about my insurance too.

Additionally, the professionalism required in customer service environment, MUST exceed the quality of work performed.When a client asks my opinion on where to have bodywork performed on their vehicle, I know they expect nothing less than they type of experience I provide. With this in mind, Unicar Autobody is my first and only answer.Over the past 5 years I have sent close to 100 cars to their facility with out any customer complaints. Our manufacture has allowed us to use them for warranty paint and body work - which tells you that they perform at the top tier. The outcome of the cars they work on always surpass my expectations!Beyond the scope of quality, the turn around time is significantly faster than other local body shops. Unicar is a top notch facility, centrally located in Pasadena. If you are curious about what Unicar has to offer, I encourage you to just stop by - You will be impressed. If you want the best experience, I recommend you ask for Jack. He knows customer service and his staff will take excellent care of you and your autobody needs.

Comment: There was an issue with our door and mirror from a previous repair but they fixed it perfect that day and even gave us door to door ride service from work so it wasnt inconvenient. The fix was done for free and that was great.Great service!

Comment: Ive used Unicar for both my truck and my wifes car and our experiences were wonderful. The receptionist and service advisor were on top of communicating with me in regards to status of my cars. I once had an issue with enterprise car rental and the owner stepped in and resolved it. During this recent experience, the service advisor (JC) call Hertz for me so I wouldnt have to deal with enterprise this time around. I highly recommend Unicar in Pasadena for bodywork.sidenote- The repairs I had done was new door skin for sierra 1500 and work to the bed of the truck (bondo skin). My wifes car, I had a quarter panel and bumper primered and painted. I work on computers now, but I had 5 years experience in autobody work. everything was blended and color sanded pefectly.

Comment: I have had several disappointments with this place. They gave me an initial estimate which included a number of things which turned out to be different, specially the price. The job was sloppy, which did not include fixing certain parts, overpriced me and the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired.
