Comment: My wife dropped off her 2019 Honda Accord for general maintenance, oil change top of flights replace filters. Basic stuff right. They called me, the husband saying car is really for pick up they told me what the did and Said I owe $----.--. so I went down there to pick up my wifes car. On the bill it says they replaced air filters. I told them the car has an after market K&N performance air filter. That I install my self. Service writer ask me if I wanted the K&N air filter, I Said,yes, why . The service writer said, Oh the tech should have it at his station. They then said all of the managers went home for the day and they cant issue a refund for the standard filter they put in my car. Then they gave me a no name brand air filter and tried to say that this is a k&n filter my old one. And itwasnt.

I felt like I was bothering the staff at this location just for a brake light that unfortunately can only be fixed by Honda. Comment: If I could put zero stars I would, my wife and I went to go buy a “certified preowned vehicle” and turned out to be a lemon car. Not even 2 weeks after owning the vehicle all warning lights on the dash came on the car and when I tried to go a little faster the car would cause a jerking motion almost wanting to go into limp mode. After calling them about the situation I took it to the dealer and later on the same day they told me that the car needed an engine replacement! The car was fairly new and only had 44,000 miles on it!! To top it off they wanted me to pay for the loaner vehicle and they were making it a big deal and almost not releasing me the rental until my wife and I went and made a scandal. To this day we still don’t have any update of our car and it hasn’t even been touched yet! Very disappointed with whole experience if I could take back my money and decision making I would!

I have been going to this dealership for 5 years and in the last couple months it has become impossible to get through to service to even schedule an appointment. You have to schedule online yet no one tells you that when you are put on hold and hung up on repeatedly. I tried this for about a week then finally went online to schedule when I called to complain and someone in sales told me to try scheduling online. I did receive a call back the next day to confirm my appointment. Once I arrived on a Saturday morning there was a line of about ten people with only two service guys working to check people in. They were in zero hurry and I was told my oil change and tire rotation would take 3 and a half hours!! it actually ended up taking 4 1/2 hours and they only let me know it was done because I messaged them.I suggest if you plan on buying a Honda and having service head over to the Honda dealership in Cat City. Or just don’t have service done at this dealership at all unless you have tons of time to just sit around waiting for your vehicle.

Comment: Their Service Department is horrible. While the gentlemen working there are nice, the service is ridiculously slow. Simply getting checked-in, is an endeavor. Just last week, I had a scheduled appointment to replace a roof rack. I took it in at the appointment time, only to be told they would need to reschedule me, since they didnt have time. Keep in mind, this was an appointment. When I finally dropped it off today, it took at least 20 minutes to get checked in, due to a long line and only having two advisors. Ive also been on hold for over 20 minutes at a time when calling them. This is not a failure of the advisors, but rather bad management. The management needs to properly staff the service department, so the customers are helped faster and the advisors dont feel overwhelmed.

Comment: I been a loyal customer for more then 6 years I purchased 2 vehicles there and always since then I have take my car to do service and Jeremy always have take care of us more then great but this last time I went for a service and the new manager name Jeff and Benjamin didn’t want to help us even I still have warranty on my car they refused to do an oil change and supposedly it had to be free which is not really free because we paid $37 for the rotations of the tires, but not even that we told him if the issue is the pay the we will pay for whole amount of the oil change and they refused to do it because supposedly they want us to do another two things that the car need it which we didn’t have the money at the time to do it and we told them we will schedule an appointment to do it later because we didn’t have money to do it at this time the we only need the oil change for the moment and they still refuse to do the service with a really ugly attitude. We never experienced this before with Jeremy, which we were being customers with him since he used to work at Nissan dealership when he always treated us great and that’s the reason we decide to go to Unicars Honda because he was pretty good person and always always taking care of us, but this two people honestly with the ugly attitude they’re gonna be ending taking all the customers away for example, me, I went to Honda of the desert to do my oil change after leaving here really upset and they did the service with no questions at all and they are being so nice and polite with me that honestly I’m not coming back anymore to Unicars Honda dealership. I really don’t recommend to you guys to go back to that dealership because now, when you go to do service, they trade you like they gonna pay for your service even though you tell them that you’re gonna pay for it they don’t want to do it they refuse to do it with no even I’m sorry apologize or anything for the rudest that they are, really bad bad experience we had we tried to speak to the manager but he didn’t do anything to resolve the problem now we decided to take our car to Honda of the desert there have been taking good care of us even though we didn’t purchase the car there they have been really good and friendly and they didn’t even question us.

Comment: One of the best dealership experiences Ive had! We were in search of a newer pre-owned vehicle and new exactly what we wanted, but finding one near us in the San Diego area was hard. We saw one online at Unicars and were able to come to an agreement on the phone since it was a nearly 3 hour trip to the dealer from our house and we did not want to waste the trip or the time haggling for hours and potentially return empty handed. Comment: Wonderful car buying experience! I walked in just looking to test drive a couple of cars. I ended up finding what I was looking for with one of the cars and the price was right. They worked with me on negotiating a couple of small things and were also able to beat the loan terms I walked in with as well as offer a fair price for my trade in. I felt everyone there was very relaxed and I had zero pressure. I even had my kids with me and they were very accommodating to them as well as including them. Comment: Worst auto dealer in the Coachella Valley! I looked up my truck on KBB to sell and got a call within 5 minutes from Unicars Honda. I dropped everything I was doing and went down there because I was told they are very aggressive with their offers since they were getting ready to open another used car lot. Upon getting there I was greeted and let a sales manager check out my truck. Other than the couple very small cosmetic details that could have been negotiated I was told there was shaking in my steering wheel when shifted into gear and the motor mounts were bad. There is absolutely no shaking in the wheel or truck when shifted into gear. This was just a ploy to get me to bite on a lower price. They offered my $3,200 less than KBB suggested selling price. Going to Unicars was a complete waste of time. Buyer/seller beware!

I am very confident in the quality and durability of Hondas and am very pleased with the friendly Sales staff and the future bonus Services offered. I had an appointment and they were delayed in getting the work done but Anthony made sure I was not inconvenienced for the delay and got the job done right. Comment: I will admit my first part of my experience was not the best… I had a 12:30 appt asking for an oil and filter change, tire rotation, to check and advise on a patch on my left rear tire, and to check and advise on a sound my CRV was making. I dropped it off for most of the service but came back the last hour just to see how it was going. I checked in again at promise time of 4pm and was told they needed a little longer, no worries, I told them I was happy to wait and make sure that things get done properly than for them to rush. I get called back up around 5:15 and was told not a single thing got done to my car. I was surprised and honestly a little upset. I live an hour and change away, so getting here isn’t the easiest, giving up time for a service is understandable but now I would need to bring it back the following day and make another trip. THANKFULLY, my service adviser Ricky, was understanding, he apologized for the inconvenience, and he made things right for me. He is the reason I will come back for my next service knowing I will be taken care of, things will be made right if they go wrong, and that they have my best interest at heart when working on my car and that it will be taken care of. Management, If you are reading this, please give Ricky a pat on the back and a raise, im sure he has way more worse experiences that he has made right in the end satisfaction g the customer and making sure they return again and not gotten the recognition. So again, please give Ricky a raise, a promotion, anything, to show that he IS taking care of the customers and making sure things are right in the end and that they want to return again. :)

About 10 minutes into my wait I was told they dont do recalls for Acura. Wierd right? But Im here so will wait for the oil change. My vehicle had an issue with one of the wheels but after having service performed here, its driving as if it were brand new. Comment: They arent great for used cars. I dont know how they are with their new cars, but they sold me a van that had something broken. They do not negotiate prices at all, so keep that in mind. Part of the deal was that they would fix the issues at no cost to me. When I went back to have my problem fixed, they broke two other things in the process then just threw the vehicle back at me. When I called them about the issues Gus said to me well it wasnt part of the deal to fix that and I said you guys are the ones who broke it. I ended up having to fix their mistake myself. It was an easy fix, but it really was something that shouldnt have been messed up in the first place. They also said they would do a full detail, it looks like all they did was fluff up the carpet and put in random colored floormats from other cars. They didnt even vacuum the seats

I purchased a used van with a broken AC that they agreed to fix. After taking it in 12 times with no results, I ended up taking the van to a specialist in paying thousands out of my own pocket to have it fixed. I had a two-year-old, my wife was pregnant at the time and it was 120° outside. This place should be ashamed of themselves.

I have warranty for FREE oil changes, yet I get charged $30 because I “won’t pay them for a tire rotation” after I JUST bought new tires weeks ago! Gabriel is an amazing salesperson who was able to take my needs, my moms desires for what kind of car I’d be driving, and my budget and make something work. And I didn’t even leave in a beater! The manager and the salesman worked extra hard and made me feel super taken care of. I ended up in a 2015 Honda CR-V with around average industry mileage. And under the Kelley blue book value, too! Seriously, these guys don’t just want to make a sale, they want to make a sale that you are happy with! And I am happy. 5 stars all around, thank you guys so much I love my new baby!

He speaks to people as if he is talking down to a child, also he doesnt give detailed information on the car of interest. He was calculating prices from a different vehicle on his computer (a much higher priced vehicle) and when I asked him what is the total amount of the vehicle that he was calculating a $600.00 payment for he snapped at me and said WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I JUST SHOWED YOU! He refused to show us any numbers, the breakdown of everything which includes MSRP, vehicle amount, dmv fees, added fees for upgrades and whatever else may have been added. I than told him that we would be going to a different dealership and he said Have a good day than and by the way nobody is going to sell you a car anywhere! Comment: This was my first time bringing my Ridgeline to Unicars Honda. I did not make an appointment but was told to come on in. I had an oil change and tire rotation. The price was reasonable. I was told it would be 90 minutes. I had a zoom call I needed to me on in about an hour and 45 minutes, which I told the technician. He said we should be fine. At 90 minutes the work was not complete. The technician apologized, talked with the people in the shop and they got it to me in about 10 more minutes. The staff were polite, pleasant and responsive. Comment: Recently bought a 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport, only a few issues such as missing antenna, switch caps missing, car wasnt detailed, thermal heat shield under the hood. But what can you expect from a used truck with high mileage with 1 owner. One thing that did stick out was after purchasing the truck the passenger airbag and seatbelt light would go on a beep when a it was buckled (a common bug) and needed an oil change after a few hundred miles. Even though they didnt need to fix the seatbelt registration issue they did at Unicars expense. Very customer friendly and io recommend them. General manger is a well spoken and firm individual and you can tell he cares...

Allowed me to roam around, look at cars. Actually test drove 3 vehicles some being pretty well blocked but never phased Marks attitude still being happy to help us and answer any questions. When it was all said and done I did not take any of the vehicles I test drove but instead ended up taking home the showroom model.
