Comment: United Auto Rental what can I say if you dont want to go to the Big Box rental agencies, and you want first class customer service......Im talking Ritz Carlton/AMEX customer service the UAR is your go too! Ive been renting from them off and on for a few years. Hassle free and worry free! Youre in and out in minutes. The best part is you greeted by name as soon as you walk in. If an issue comes with your rental UAR is all over it if its a simple service light to a flat tire you are covered within minutes of notification. No major credit card no problem......use your debit card. You can also use cash just check to see what the cash restrictions are. You must have your own auto insurance for the rental, and yes proof is required at time of rental. If you dont auto insurance hit up my boy Leo and his crew at A Max Insurance in Fontana off Foothill and Citrus for a non-owners policy.

Comment: This company was a life saver after some issues with the rental companies at the airport and not being able to move forward with the rental. Sergio was prompt and courteous when picking us up. He was very friendly and helpful. Tom was very helpful and understanding with getting everything squared away in the office. The car we were picked up in was our rental, which made things so much nicer and easier to not have to reload a vehicle! I would 110% recommend this company to anyone looking for a company away from the big ones at the airport!

Comment: I was in a pinch when my old Audi gave out during the first week at a new job and United Auto Rental saved me. The staff was exceedingly professional and the rates were better than anywhere else. There was no line and the entire process to get the car took less than 10 minutes. They even pulled up the car to the front - true red carpet treatment. The car I rented was a new Hyundai which ran great during the week I rented it. In summary, I would highly recommend United Auto Rental to anyone in need of a rental car in the Inland Empire.

Comment: I needed a car during my stay, and the prices here were the best deal around. When I got to their office, everyone was really friendly and helpful. The front desk explained things in detail and when I returned the car there were no surprise charges (most of the times when I’m renting a car they add random charges that was not indicated at the beginning but the front desk had explained what charges would occur and why). The process was rather expedient.The car was in a really good condition, very clean, and ran smoothly.Overall I would absolutely recommend renting a car here.

Comment: Quite nice.I was visiting for a week and I havent decided if I needed a rental so I did it last minutes. The rates were better, service was faster, I got the car I wanted, process was quick and simple. I rented for a day and was late coming back, but I had a very early flight so I had to drop it off early. As they didnt open until 8qm, I was already in another state when I called. They were very accomodating and the end process went smoothly. I am satisfied with my service and I actually trust them. Thats an absolute no-no for rental companies.

Comment: SPEND THE EXTRA CASH AND RENT FROM A MAJOR RENTAL CHAIN!!Biggest mistake I made on my trip to California from Texas, was trying to save a few dollars and going with this rental company. I regret not spending the extra money and renting from a major rental company inside the Ontario Airport. The “Standard size vehicle i was given was a 2015 Ford Fusion with 60k Miles. Scratch’s, dings, and scrapes all over the body of the vehicle. The interior was filthy. I drove this car from Ontario down to Redondo Beach, and the car stalled on me. After several attempts I got the vehicle to start and I had a check engine light on the dash board. I drove back to Ontario to swap the vehicle out for another one. I was then given another 2015 Ford Fusion with almost 90K miles. I told the guy at the desk, were driving to Palm Springs tomorrow, will this car make it? Upon arriving to Palm Springs, I had all kinds of warning lights on the dash board, “Service ABS,” Service TRAC Service Hill start Asst. Vehicles are in horrible cosmetic and mechanical condition, and have excessive mileage and wear and tear on them. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Extremely disappointed with this company.

Comment: First of all, when we arrived to pick up the car we reserved, they said they were all out of that car so they gave us a different car that they referred to as an upgrade.....which it was not. The car was disgusting when we got it (crumbs in the seats, cigarette holes in the seats, and terrible smell). Then half way through our trip, the check engine light came on and it started leaking in all the driveways we were parked. When we called to ask them what to do, they said to keep driving it (with the check engine light on and it leaking all over the place) or turn it in early and get a different car (which is not convenient as we were travelling for a funeral). We decided the safer of the two options was to turn it in early and asked for a discount for the inconvenience of it all. All they gave us was a deduction for the day we didnt use it and the day we turned it in early, which didnt add up to much. Now we are left to clean up the driveways and all they told us to do was buy some kitty litter for the stains. Overall a bad experience and would not recommend them to anyone. Wont use them again.

Comment: I rarely review businesses, but I thought it was important to highlight my experience with United Auto Rentals. To say my expectations were exceeded is an understatement. When we reached SNA, we needed to call the office to send the shuttle. I was a bit panicked when the answering machine picked up twice, I did not leave a message...however, within 5 minutes, they called me noticing the missed call. They were EXPECTING my call based on my reservation time... I wanted to cry tears of joy right then. Jennifer, the gal who picked us up was so pleasant and when we got to the rental office, they had the car ready and the trunk open so we could immediately load our bags. They have no issues with debit cards and are completely transparent regarding their fees and monetary holds at the time of reservation. When we returned the car we were again treated like VIPs, no extra charges and Nelson, our return driver was amazing!!!! Im not even going to bother telling you about the extreme value because that wasnt the best part.Thank you United, I will only be renting from you when we come to OC from now on!

Comment: Beyond frustrated with my experience. I had a reservation booked since November 11th at this location. Once I arrived at Ontario airport today (December 23rd) I called to request the shuttle and was I formed by Manuel that there were no vehicles left! He mentioned he had called me earlier, yeah I was on my flight and had no cell reception. Without any remorse he kept telling me there was nothing he could do. Like really a reservation that was booked over a month ago and they call me mid flight! A more respectful thing would have been to call first think on the morning knowing you wouldn’t have any cars. I even got a confirmation yesterday confirming my booking… do not use this company! Not worth it!

Comment: I had a really fantastic experience! I was able to pick up my car without any issue and received a very clean and new vehicle that served my travels out to Joshua Tree well. Drop off was also easy, and I received my final receipt the next day. Everyone I spoke with in person or over the phone was honestly great, and I walked away very satisfied. One note is that the rental location is just outside of the Ontario airport, so be prepared to take a short Lyft there and back!

Comment: The car they gave me reeked of cigarette snake and was filthy inside and out. It seemed ironic since the gentleman who checked the car out to me was wearing a hat from a car detailing business. I mentioned the smell which they tried to cover up with spray and was told it was the only car they had. The inside of the windows and the rear view mirror were wiped with a dirty wet rag and left to air dry. I had to clean the car inside because it was that gross. I wish I could post the pictures that I took of it.When I turned it in I mentioned the horrible cigarette smell to the manager and was told, “we tell people to not smoke in the cars, but they don’t always listen!” I will never use this company again.

I got there and gave them my dl and credit card. Then he told me that they did not rent to locals. Fox showed up to tell me that they had no car for my reservation. The man at the Hertz counter didnt have cars, but they called United for me, and United had a car and sent a driver right over to pick me up. Highly reccommend!

Comment: High prices all the time. Any day any season. They will have same answer that its very busy here because of this and that festival,Although they have just few cars to rent. I rent just once with them. No wash outside and smells bad. Go and pick the car exactly from ontario airport

Comment: There rates are always high. All the time when u get there . They will tell you its very busy here. We have shortage of cars. High rates. So recommended you to get the car just from the airport near here. Or book through experidia and you you will save almost half of your bucks

Comment: I want to thank United Auto Rental Ontario for making my vacation a perfect one.I arrived at the Ontario airport with a paid Enterprise/ Alamo car rental that I already paid for through Travelocity. So I came to find out if you DO NOT have a secured Visa/ MC or Amex and just have a Visa Debit from your bank you will NOT under and circumstance be able to rent a car from ANY Rental Car through Agency at the Airport. (What a Scam Travelocity is doing this and It is not printed, It was not disclosed and I was Never warned in advance this may happen ---that a secured credit card was required to rent a car from them. In addition it was already paid for ).I was left high and dry. Then I was referred to United Auto Car Rental- of Ontario and they came and picked me up at the airport and these folks were a pleasure to deal with. The rental rates are also very comparable to the other rental car places if not better.If it was not for United Auto Auto Rental Ontario positive efforts to assist me -my vacation would TRULY have been ruined and an ultimate disastrous nightmare.Thank you so much United Auto Rental of Ontario. Comment: Great service, that one guy and that short lady with the I think nose ring are awesome. As u can tell i dont remember their names!!! They are amazing at what they do. Never heard of them but my mom and i will be coming bk. Deposit is high due to ppl damaging their property and a host of other issues and it explains the high deposit. They are very helpful and attentive and will hold convos with you so you dont feel awkward or just a customer. Great place and so friendly.

Comment: Our flight arrived a little late. I called as soon as we landed and they were there ready to pick us up. Daniel was very helpful getting us processed. Unlike some of the big names we didnt have to wait in line for 30 minutes with hungry and tired kids. I highly recommend United Auto to anyone who wants good, prompt service and will use them on future trips

All the other rental companies were telling me my husband couldnt rent the car and use my credit card. I called united and they were so understanding and helpful. They didnt leave me stranded like hertz and enterprise.Thank-you.

Comment: Whenever I have family come in, I make sure they fly into Ontario. The reason being is that it so close to Corona and there is never the same amount of traffic as there is when coming back from Orange County or LAX. With that being said, I wasnt able to pick them up on their recent visit last week and had to set them up with a car rental service close to the airport. After a few hours of searching for an auto service that was nearby (and oh boy were there a lot of them to choose from!), I came across United Auto Rental off Airport Dr. This location was pretty ideal being so near to the airport but what really made me choose them was their customer service. Oh and their ridiculously good rates!I talked to the woman a few days before and she set me up with reserving a simple economic car for my family. She stated that they would just need the reservation form printed out and I would be able to pay for it with my credit card. This was ideal as I didnt want to make my family pay for it on the fact that I wasnt able to pick them up. So for that alone, THANK YOU! Really saved my butt from being a flaky niece!In addition, their rates are the best in town! I mean it, if you happen to read this while shopping around for a car, give them a call first! They have super cheap cars just to get the job done and they even have some pretty classy cars.Great staff. Great service. Great prices. Use them and come back and thank me later.
