If I could give minus 1 star I would do that. After 3 days they didnt deliver my package with bushes in the way as an excuse (while they still deliver some mails), a staff promised they would redeliver on Monday. Then on Monday they left a note that they missed me while I was at home all day. I called the station to clarify, their excuse was the package is too heavy. Goodness, the package is just carry on luggage for my 9 and 7 year old boys, total weight 9.3 lbs
The worst post office in the Metro Detroit area. I only get MY mail delivered maybe 2x/week and it’s always in a rubber band letting me know that they’ve held on to it. Other people’s mail is consistently delivered to my house when mine isn’t, and they keep delivering mail of people who no longer live here. I’ve lived in my house for 3 years now and they’re still delivering the wrong mail. I’ve went to the post office and filled out a form of the names they should deliver 4 times now and nothing is being done about it. I wish I could get my mail delivered by another branch. Kensington is so unprofessional, lazy, and irresponsible.
I just want to know where is my mail?I have never missed almost 3 days of non delivery of mail.My mail usually runs at 11am sometimes later but never at all.
After reading over everyones similar problems these issues remain unresolved. They dont care until you call corporate and make a complaint and then they wanna resolve something. They steal packages and say theyve been delivered this is beyond sad. Ive been living in this area over 3 years and always had some issue with my mail, I received other peoples mail on the regular. I dont know what happen but they use to have an eldery guy delivering the mail daily before 12pm daily he was amazing. Unfortunately, I dont think he works there anymore and you can tell its sad but true. I know there corporate location in Detroit doesnt care either because if they did there wouldve been change. These are federal jobs and yet there so careless how long do we have to wait just to see change. Mail tossed in an abandoned field, stolen packages, etc. I need to speak with someone outside of Michigan because this is ridiculous.
This is for the gentleman holding down the fort and being helpful at the front. He was by himself, handled the crowd well, and was pleasant. He tried to help save me some money by guiding me on options even with a long line behind me. Poor guy was all by himself.
WORST POSTAL OFFICE EVER!!! Moves terrible slow! Only have ONE cashier most of the time!! And the employees could careless about actually helping the customers!!! This is making Detroit look bad! Specially when majority is black faces!!! We have to do better as an community!!!
I ordered a kitchen sink. They would not deliver it, said it was too heavy (less than 20lbs). I called corporate, they said this is not ok. They said theyd fix it. They did not. I have to get pick up all large packages from now on. They used to deliver them. It doesnt make sense.
Mail never seems to get delivered when its suppose to.14 Jun 18, post office lost another package. Tracking shows delivered. Cameras show package never being placed in mailbox. They never scan packages at you doorUPDATE: This package arrived a week later after being already scanned as placed in mail box27 July 18, Another package scan as placed in mailbox at 11:44am. Mail was delivered at 3:53pm. But no package placed in mailbox. Watched camera feed from 8am to 6pm. Package never delivered. Inside staff is great but these mail carrier are terrible. Almost like packages are being lost misplaced or stolen by them. Hate to say it but im so sick of this nonsense. 1Aug18 still no package
I have not been receiving my mail at my house for a week now . I went to the Kensington post office to complain and the manager gave me a number to call.
I been staying in my house for 4mnths now and I am still not getting any Mail!. Im furious because it appears as no cares..I have been calling I have visited the Post Office on numerous occasions I even spoke to the Mail carriers but NO ONE can answer why Im still not getting any mail!. And on top of that I have a different mail carrier Everyday! And their all clueless to my issues this is the Worst Post office in the city of Detroit I am not Satisfied at all!
Horrible. They are very rude and get angry when I ask them to do their job.they lost my pkg and seem to ref use to look for it. I hate this po . Dont go there unless you absolutely have to!!
Let me start off by saying Ive been a loyal customer here for 3 years now but recently a lot of mail has been backed up and my mail is never in my po box.

This has to be the most laziest postal employees I have ever seen. I had back to back packages getting delivered and received emails stating it was pet activity and another one saying they attempted delivery but couldn’t get access. Any other time they will put my small packages in the mailbox and throw the bigger ones over the gate. Just sad individuals if you ask me.
This post office you should stay away from. I have had several packages lost by this branch but they mark the packages delivered more than likely someone is stealing. Beware
Closes early, rude, impatient, makes you wait. If you say that you close at 2pm on a Saturday and I simple need to go to a po box I should be allowed entry instead of being denied entry by someone waiting by the door telling me that its closed when clearly it is not 2pm.

Everytime I tried to call they put me on hold while I was talking and I asked for my mail address to be changed and I still dont get my mail
I just want 2 thank the staff at harper u s post office and the carriers are awsome I love my carrier I wish I know her name she doses a great jod rain sun and now snow she always have a kind word and smile so thank u harper us post office keep up the good work thanks

Steal mail. I was sent iPhones and Mac books my checks from my job never received they put a block in the office on my address they steal ppls mail.
They dont answer the phone for customer service and I had a Amazon package with 2 day delivery not even attempted for delivery, instead they said couldnt access front door like they attempted delivery.
The workers here have some of the nastiest attitudes. The customer service is terrible!

2021-08-12Just went up there to buy stamps and the door is locked for no reason. They close at 4:30. Was there at 3:30. This same post office routinely delivers my neighbors mail to my address and mine to other addresses. I thought I got stiffed by an ex employer on my final paycheck but they delivered it to a lady two blocks away. Thankfully she was decent enough to knock on my door and deliver it to me.

2021-06-11I bought stamps in July 2020 and a male spoke very Inappropriate and unprofessional to me. I receive morning emails from USPS daily on mail being delivered that day. They held on to my work check for a week, but sent all the Junk mail. I called that location and a male worker was rude. When I asked for a supervisor, then my check was delivered in 15 minutes. I do appreciate the professionalism and respect the female staff members showed me.

2021-08-20Im giving the benefit of the doubt here and giving three stars despite my frustration.. I know I seem like Im nitpicking but I cant really help it. I had a package scheduled to deliver this Monday. It still hasnt arrived and whenever I go to Walmart to check it says delayed, however when I track it using the USPS website they say my package left the Detroit Michigan distribution center on Wednesday, about 4 a.m. Im not getting any updates other than that, and today it says your package will be arriving later than expected, which I already can tell because its Friday. This is why I personally give a 3 star review.

2021-02-23How is it that these people have a sign posted to end cell calls before approaching the desk. However the postal carriers talk on their phones with headsets while delivering mail and make big mistakes delivering mail to wrong addresses.

2020-05-09This is the second time they “attempted” to deliver my package but somehow they delivered the other packages. So, please tell me how you successfully delivered all my packages but one on the same day and time. This time I caught the post worker on camera pulling up to my house for about a min or 2 and pull off. The times match and everything from the attempt and my camera.

2020-05-12I would never ever recommend this particular post office to any one!! Its obvious the clerk did not put my express in on time to be delivered on time because it still isnt delivered and its 3 pm!!! I paid 35 dollars and some change to get my moms mothers day gift to her via Express; What a waste!! She really needs whats in that box and She had things to do and is being held up because of your carrier not delivering an EXPRESS in timely fashion!!!! I want my money back today!! Also, your phone lines are a complete joke!!! Ive literally been on the phone to talk to a customer representative for 1 hour, 15 mins and 2 secs...I guess the customer doesnt matter. I WILL start using UPS and FEDEX from now on. The postal service has went all the way down the drain. You should just close if service is going to be so below sub par!! I will be contacting the Postal General about such losey service and late EXPRESS packages!!

2018-04-11I live in the Detroit area and this postal office only takes about 15 minutes on foot for me to reach. I was a little skeptical about using this particular branch as a service provider, lots of people were also complaining of no mail being delivered on time here.I came in on a Monday just maybe 15 minutes before closing, this was also my first time being inside of a USPS building. The woman who serviced me was very informative and helpful with me addressing my package. I used international mail service to deliver a package to Taiwan in Asia. My friend received my package in just 9 days. Great service and I will visit again sometime when making further transactions.

2019-03-19Decent post office, I understand they aren’t too fond of dogs after the video that went viral of an attack.However to not even put any effort into getting someone their package is a tad ridiculous. Waiting four days to get my package, dog has been locked up for four days, just so that he/she can give my package. I literally had to wait on my sofa and gawk out of our door until the the mail came. I still think that the mail carrier would have just walked rite off even with our door open and a sign that says dog put away posted. A tad too careless. Thank goodness I had been gawking out of my door for hours. Otherwise another few days probably would have went by.
