I wasted my entire lunch break waiting in a line that didnt move at all. I went around 1 pm, and I was trying to just send my passport renewal via priority mail express. I had it ready to go in a flat rate envelope and just needed to pay for the postage. They had one person working the entire counter, who was working with one customer sending out a passport...for at least 20 minutes. There were about 8 other people in line in front of me and 3 more behind me by the time I had to leave. I saw at least 3-4 other employees working at the time, who kind of all seemed to be wandering around aimlessly, not helping customers. Some of them looked like managers who were clearly not managing. At one point, someone came out and asked if anyone in line was just picking up or dropping off packages. A few people who that applied to got out of line and formed a new one, confusing things further in an already packed small space, and then no one helped those few people with dropoffs or pickups for about 12 more minutes after they were asked. Literally not a single person finished what they were there for and left in 25 minutes. A young girl waiting with her parents whined This is boring, I dont want to have to wait in line anymore, and I couldnt have agreed more. What terrible customer service, and now I still have to stop at the Canton branch on my way home to actually accomplish what I went there to do. I understand that short staffing is an issue right now, but this was ridiculous and seemed like there was more going on than that.

Drop box always broken/stuck. Keeps saying they cant ship reused boxes other post offices will take. Doublecharge my prepaid postage.

I ordered a package as a present, and it had been sitting in the post office for about 2 weeks after the company I ordered from shipped. I called the office to ask when it would be arriving, and they said within the next week. However, when it didnt arrive, I called again and they said that they had sent it back to the original company... so I ordered it again, and it has been sitting at the post office for a little over a month now. Ive assumed that theyve just given up completely, so now Ive paid for two presents but received neither for someone whose birthday passed 2 months ago.

My family needed to apply for their passport at PLYMOUTH MAIN POST OFFICE. I checked online and this location currently is available for walk-in service for passports. So I brought my family and all necessary paperwork/payments to the office. After waiting in line and speaking with the USPS member they informed me I need an appointment to apply for a passport! I kindly explained and showed them that their own website has walk-in service for passports.I spoke to their manager and again showed them their own website indicating walk-in available and even though there were no customers in the lobby besides my family there were not able to accommodate our request. The manager indicated they would update their website.Update: Weeks later PLYMOUTH MAIN POST OFFICE FALSELY indicates walk-in for Passports are available!

I have used this post office several times this year (probably 30 times now) and it is usually not that crowded inside when I go so the service and standing in line-time is never an issue. Customer service is fine, I dont always get a happy to see you sort of greeting like some people expect out of employees, but never had anyone rude to me. Dealing with the public and all the different kinds of attitudes that come in the door all day long is not easy. Im sure these people have good and bad days like anyone else - I know what its like. So from my personal experience at this office, I have no complaint at all and they have always taken care of my needs quickly.

1 stars are mostly the delivery. This is my favorite post office! I go out of my way to go here as it is rarely busy and the staff has been helpful every single time I have been there. They genuinely care that you have what you need to send your packages or whatever in the best way possible. I went here for passports too as I knew they would do a thorough job. It is a more laid back post office and I love it. They take time to care.

This i the main affice i guess, second time they loose or delay a package, second time i walk in there, second time i talk to a manager always the same result, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. if i could give 0 i would. Usps in general is to be avoided, they just not good. Looking up the reviews for both plymouth offices and my personal experience they are just not reliable, period.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had as a customer anywhere (including fast food). Grossly rude for absolutely no reason at all. Maybe management should begin holding these employees responsible for their actions so the USPS system has at least a chance at surviving in todays world, but based on the other reviews here.. that doesnt seem very likely. How disappointing.

My packages always get left in a different location. One time it’s at my front door, one time it’s at my side door, and other times it’s by my garage. As of recently, lazy employees have been throwing my packages in the snow by my mailbox. MY MAILBOX IS ON THE ROAD. Packages get wet from slush, and are at higher risk of getting stolen. Not quite sure why they think that’s okay? I call and complain and the post office tells me to send the package back to sender! Know why? So USPS doesn’t have to pay for the damaged package. Sounds like the right thing to do right? USPS causes the damage by leaving packages in inappropriate locations, and then wants you to send it back so the company who shipped the product and did nothing wrong. Doing so would make them absorb the cost of the damaged goods and not USPS...... No!!! USPS step up your game because it’s severely lacking.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Rude and incompetent employees. Was supposed to receive my package on Wednesday. I called on Friday and was told that I needed to pick it up in person because there was postage due. I went in on Saturday to pick it up and an incredibly rude lady told me that the carrier had it and would leave a slip in my mailbox. I asked why a slip hadn’t been left when they’ve had 3 days to deliver and she said “it doesn’t go back out if there’s a postage due”..... so then why does the carrier have it again? Went home later that night and still no slip.
