Michael and the whole crew did an exceptional job recommending and installing a lift, tires and lower gears on my 2020 Wrangler Rubicon. Michael was professional and knowledgeable. A credit to Unlimited Offroad. I’m extremely pleased with the way everything turned out. I’ll be heading back in a few weeks for a skid plate system. Thanks again guys! Time to hit the trail.
After many phone conversations with Vic, I dropped my 2016 Jeep off for a makeover. I can not speak highly enough of Vic, Zak and the entire team at Unlimited Off Road. My only gripe is you need to be closer! Haha. Well on second thought, maybe not, or I would spend all my time there. Vic and Zak were always professional and the main thing I would say is they actually LISTEN. They ask what your goals and intentions are for your vehicle and then they help you from that. They dont try and push things that are not required...or that will be of zero benefit to you.I read some of the negative reviews and trust me, Im not being paid by Unlimited Off Road or have any affiliation with them whatsoever, I am just a satisfied customer. I have witnessed first hand in my visits, people who will sit there and ask a million questions, but they dont buy anything. Or they complain about the prices Well I found it cheaper on Amazon. So Unlimited Off Road might not be the cheapest place around, guess what? You are paying a little extra for some professional advice, you are paying for professional installation and its worth every penny. People want to sit for an hour...ask a million questions...and then nitpick that they found a part for $10 cheaper online. Good grief. Get out of here. And Vic and Zak dont mind at all - they will sit and talk to you for an HOUR. For FREE. Offering advice and listening. But dont then throw it back in their face and complain about a part being a little cheaper somewhere online. If you want junkyard or U-pull it prices, then why are you at an Off Road retail store??My work was done in late 2017, I wanted to give it some time before reviewing to see how my Jeep drives in various conditions. Top notch. It drives better than stock, period. I attached before and after pictures.TOP NOTCH work guys. Keep up the good work, I will definitely be back for a visit.
I will start my review off by prefacing that I have worked with Unlimited Offroad with work on my Jeep many times over the last 5 years and have always had good experiences and good work done by the shop! So speaking from experience, I highly recommend them if you are anywhere in SE Michigan! I have had them install an AEV Lift Kit, Regear my axles, and Tow Woods driveshafts installed to list a few! However, the latest work is that of a custom hidden winch mount to ne installed in the stock Jeep JK bumper! And man is this the best work I have gotten from them yet! All work is custom done by the shop, including the winch plate and positioning of the winch, remote mounts control pack on custom bracket, and all of the wiring. The project took 2-3 weeks, but throughout the project I had great communication and responsiveness from the shop and when decisions needed to be made, they contacted me to present the options. They took my conceptual idea and made it even better and turned into a reality! The mount came out so clean, it is like it was always meant to be there, and the additional testing the shop did and strength added to mount give me plenty of confidence that I can pull on this mount, and it will not be the weak link by far! Most of the circumstances that anyone would go to Unlimited would be for bolt ons and things like that, however this custom work really has raised them above and beyond in my book, and I am thoroughly impressed! Plus, it made me even more excited to see how enthused the guys at the shop were about this project themselves as well! And I can tell they really take pride in the work they do and the work that leaves the shop! If you have any Jeep, Truck, or Offroad needs, I recommend checking out Unlimited Offroad and see what dreams they can make a reality for you!Edit: I have added in a few more photos of the winch in use! Ended up pulling a couple of Jeeps out with it this past weekend and it worked great!
I was very happy to find Unlimited had what I was looking for in stock. Jim did a great job showing me around the showroom and the shop. They had some amazing builds and very cool projects happening in the shop. This business a well oiled machine and run very efficiently. Everyone here is into off roading, whether its the techs, salesman or management, they are living the life and here to help you get your best off road experience.
This place is awesome !!, lots of great stuff for Jeep lovers, I picked up a set of very lightly used Recon Wheels with BF Goodrich Tires, which they fitted while I waited - really transformed my otherwise bone stock and frankly boring 2013 Sport, it now looks pretty fierce !. Ask for Zak, hes really helpful and super knowledgeable and will find what you need to keep your Jeep looking and running great. The shop is well equipped and the guys are very capable, they did a great job fitting the wheels and swapping over my TPMS etc. I will be back.....Oh yes ! .... :o)
Only 5 stars? I wanted to give 100! Zak at Unlimited went above what I was expecting. I am a new Jeep owner and had questions. Zak is super knowledgeable and took his time educating me. I will be back for sure ! My Jeep lift, tires and wheels look amazing, beautifully done.. oh and my exhaust too !
We had a leveling kit put on here 5 years ago and have not had a problem with that installation so when our basically stock jeep developed the infamous death wobble I had no problem in coming back here (45 minute drive one way) to have them solve that problem. I picked it up last night and death wobble is gone. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
There I was, 1100 miles from home in my trusty Jeep, Charlie Mike. He was on the brink of overheating due to trail-induced radiator fan damage. They managed to fit me in, fixed up and back on the road within a couple of hours. Their customer service is exceptional and their technical expertise for off-road vehicles is the kind you can only find in people who offroad. These guys saved the day!
I am a month out from working with Michael and the team at Unlimited Offroad. My first thought regarding their process of discovery, shop, purchase, scheduling and install is that 5 stars isnt enough. I thought about having a lift, tires, bumpers and new side rails installed before, but never took the leap. After working with Michael exploring and discussing many options, we came up with an awesome combination. couldnt be more happy with the outcome. My Jeep handles great and I am enjoying the ride more than ever before!
Unlimited Offroad is so unbelievably friendly and helpful! Michael was very kind and answered all the questions I had and made suggestions to improve my set up. I would 100% recommended unlimited Offroad. I’ve not once had a bad experience with them. Their techs are all certified and very knowledgeable also. You don’t see problems from them like you do at some of these other “off road” shops!
This is the only Offroad shop that has done any upgrade work on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. They are amazing. They go through everything and every option when you are shopping for upgrades. I use my Gladiator as it was meant to be used and not one thing that was completed or installed by Unlimited has ever let me down. My previous Jeep JK? Same. Maintained and upgraded right there at Unlimited. The staff are outgoing and engaging and very knowledgeable about their products. Take the tour!
My first time talking to anybody at the shop was with Marc. He was so helpful and friendly. We talked for a while about regearing my JK and a few other options. I called 10 different shops. Not only was the customer service from Marc amazing, but the price was the best, and you could tell they had more experience than anybody else. I was really excited to have finally find a shop that I can trust. When I actually went into the shop, Marc wasnt there. It felt weird and kinda awkward. Nobody said hi and they all seemed to be preoccupied. It was supposed to be done the night before, so I showed up a few hours after they opened, but then they said to wait a couple more hours. I came from Ann Arbor, so I was stuck waiting. It was a totally different atmosphere from what I expected after talking to Marc. When they were ready, they ended up adding more work to it without telling me. They cleaned up the rear brake calipers and it was $100 more. They didnt show me why it needed the work or anything else. I was confused by it, but just went with it. They said that they didnt want me to leave the shop with the calipers so rusty. But I wouldnt have had a problem cleaning them myself. Finally, I called again recently after installing adjustable control arms. The arms are pretty close to being dialed in, but I was hoping for somebody more experienced to take a look and get them perfect. I was told around $400 to $800 to adjust them. I was expecting under $100 and was pretty shocked. I was also informed that Marc no longer works there.Im not sure Ill go out of my way to visit the shop again. Im considering coilovers with adjustable bump stops soon, so I would love to say Ill have them do it, but Ill look elsewhere first.
I wouldn’t want to take my Jeep anywhere else but here. First time I called- Michael spent 20 minutes on the phone with me answering all my questions about lifting my Jeep, fixing the brakes, bumper options, etc. in a few trips to this place I have completely transformed my Jeep and it’s never rode better. I’m very happy with the work I had done here and I can not recommend this place enough! It’s like a whole new Jeep for a fraction of the cost. I have a feeling I will be back here often for more updates. Thank you Unlimited Off-road for making my Jeep turn some heads.
Reasonable pricing (these toys are not cheap). They stumbled slightly on completion of the radiator replace job they did for me in that the new radiator failed when pressure tested, but better in their shop than in my possession. They got another radiator swapped in and delivered the next day - no big deal (for me). Also, I had them do an inspection of the entire TJ to identify what else I needed to address. When I got the veh home, I attempted to remove the wheel lug nuts, and found they were applied so tight a 5 ft breaker bar would barely do it. I assumed they had removed the tires to check the brakes, then over-torqued when re-installed. I took it back in; later they called me and said they reviewed the video they keep of their shop activity and saw they never actually removed the tires - the brakes were inspected the brakes through an access hole. Regardless, they backed off the over-torqued nuts, and replaced the nut I rounded attempting to remove - no charge.
Took my 2018 JL to Unlimited Offroad and was just in wow with what they did. They lifted it, put new tires on and had the rims powder coated. They were very patient with all our questions and so awesome to work with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to build or modify their jeep. Matt Revels was our tech and Michael Roome was the salesman we worked with and they are amazing. Awesome work!
I took my 18 JL Rubicon to the talented team at Unlimited Offroad and told them exactly what how I wanted to build my Jeep. They answered all of my questions and made suggestions on how to efficiently get what I was looking for. I highly recommend taking your Jeep to the team and I guarantee you will be highly satisfied with whatever you have done to your vehicle. I will not go anywhere else but them from this point on!
We brought our son’s Jeep Wrangler here for a leak repair. They had it for 3 days and when we picked it up, they told us that they padded the front roof clamps for a tighter fit. They charged $90. The inside floor boards were covered with dried mud shoe prints both sides including dried dirt/mud on inside of both doors. Upon inspection, there were no indications of padding on the clamps, and the Jeep continued to leak just as bad as it did when we brought it in. We took it back to them and this time they offered to install a seal kit ($35) for the Freedom Top plus $90/hr for labor and said it could take up to 3 hours. While they had it this second time, they told us it needed new ball joints also. Total cost for everything $1352.15. We had them order the seal kit and decided to install it ourselves (it’s just foam tape). Then we took the Jeep to a family member at Monroe, they put it on a hoist and determined that the ball joints looked like new!I wouldn’t recommend Unlimited Offroad to my worst enemy!
One star is too many, I wish I could rate them in negative stars. Highly dissatisfied with the overall performance of the shop, tech, and salesman. They said they would have my vehicle ready in 3 days, it turned out being more than a week. I had them install new wheels and tires and give the vehicle an alignment; it now pulls to the left and I have a steering wheel vibration at 40 mph and up. Installed 4 shocks and they couldn’t even get the rubber boots to accordion correctly over the shock. They couldn’t even grease my front end. I knew I had loose tie rod ends, the tech said they were good however and still proceeded to align the vehicle. the salesman Zach is a liar, but what do you expect, he’s a salesman. The technician working on my vehicle left early two days in a row and didn’t come in the day after new year’s because he drank too much the night before. Said they would change my oil; either they didn’t completely or they didn’t change the oil filter. And they didn’t even offer me my parts back they took off the vehicle, including the wheels and tires. So, I had to spend my time going back to the shop to retrieve my wheels and tires and they put the wrong tires on my original wheels, after I told Zach I would be coming back for them. They also lost my key! This shop is a joke and I’m sorry I gave them my business. The best thing for me to do is write such a bad review nobody takes their vehicle to them for any kind of work.
Give this place your money, they deserve it.I dont usually leave reviews but this place, Dan in particular, have earned it.The level of customer service I received was top notch. I know that Monte Carlos arent their usual fare, but when my alternator suddenly failed mid-way through a 2 hour drive Dan came and met with me, got me going enough to get to the shop, then had me in and out with a new alternator in less than 2 hours.Dude saved my day for sure.I may or may not have told him that I love him.(Thanks Dan)
Wish I had found Unlimited Offroad years ago!I have a 2010 Wrangler JKU that has been experiencing occasional death wobble since moving to Michigan a few years ago (thanks roads!). There are many theories online and I didnt want to go down the rabbit hole of wasted time, much expense and added frustration.I called UO last week and they were able to get me in yesterday. These guys absolutely know what they are talking about and are committed to getting it done right. After an initial inspection, the recommendations were reviewed with me and I was able to get work done that day! (knowing that I drove 1-hour to get there) Dan and Michael were awesome to work with and shout out to Cody who did excellent work on my Jeep. The drive home was smoother than the day I bought it and Im happily Jeepin again. I would trust these guys to work on both the critical stuff, and the fun stuff we want to do with our ORVs.Thanks again guysMark
Gary and Mike are fantastic!! Mike helped with a purchase of a Smittybuilt X20 Winch. Very knowledgeable and great to work with. They didn’t have it in stock but drop shipped it directly to me. Gary was great to work with as well getting tracking coming from their vendor!! Superb outfit!! I’ll be back for sure! Thanks for everything Gary and Mike!!
I walked into Unlimited Offroad back in March 2018. I noticed how clean and professional the facility looked and that impressed me right away. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I entered the building. They were polite and answered all my questions with a smile and told me they appreciated me stopping by. It’s not too often anymore you go to a business and feel like you’re family instantaneously. Thanks Unlimited Offroad for your kindness and would encourage anyone looking to accessorize their Jeeps or Trucks, to contact the friendly and very knowledgeable staff at Unlimted Offroad in Fenton, MI.
I think that someone needs to work on quoting practices here. I have a 1997 Wrangler that needed old engine frame mounts taken off and replacements installed. I was given a quote, over the phone, of a couple of hours plus materials. In my mind, that means 2 hours. My husband stopped up there and explained that he would be bringing his Jeep as well and they could cut his mounts off and install them on my Jeep. Again, quoted a couple of hours for the whole process. We make an appointment, show up, and all of the sudden its a 5 hour job. Whats worse is that we were able to come up with a set of mounts already taken from another vehicle so all they had to do was cut mine off and install the replacements. This should have significantly affected the amount of labor. At this point, we were in a time crunch and had no other options. Something that should have cost about $200 came out to about $380. Guys, that is twice what you quoted us. Did the new guy work on it? My husband went up there to talk to them this morning but it was like talking to a wall. Had we known it was going to be $380 to do this, we would have looked for alternatives last week when we both got quotes. Never again.
Bought a set of 250.00 dollar Bilistien shocks from them. They didnt hold up to offloading! Took them back and waited over 9 months without even one phone call from unlimited offroad ! Especially after I called once a month. Promises unfilled, smoke blown up my butt...Never did get a refund. Ended up with a set of used zone shocks that still are working.Worst customer service Ive ever had.Shop elsewhere if you dont want problems.
This shop is absolutely terrible I agree with previous comments about being able to give them negative stars. Agreed Zac is a liar the sales person up front. I was told I would have a super charger put in 4 days after I paid in full, $9000 cash I gave them. No one ever returns calls or follows through with what they say. I was then told it was going to take two months to get the super charger I originally wanted. After much debate I decided to go with a procharger instead due to faulty advise again from Zac. I was told this would be installed in 5 to 7 days. Two weeks later the part finally arrived! Once I dropped off my truck for service to be completed, I was told it would be done within 4 days! They now have had my truck for 11 days and dont know what the hell they are doing! I am so fed up with this place I will never return and would urge any one to stay away from this shop! I am very disappointed I have spent almost $10,000 dollars here and the service and work is terrible! Take my advice do not use this shop for any work!!! Who knows how my veichile will run if I ever get it back! Very dissatisfied!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!. Saved for two and a half years and bought a used Jeep. Told me the car was checked out, all the codes were cleared and taken care of. Drove home and the MIL light came on next morning. Back and forth with them several times. Charged me $400 to fix a “new” problem. Didn’t fix the problem. Light back on. Took it to an actual Jeep dealership eventually. Needed cam phasers changed. Cost me another $2000. They laughed at the $400 “fix” and said it didn’t do anything, to address the problem. Bought as is but the MIL light should have been on the whole time because of the cam phasers. Not sure how it got cleared before I drove it home. Owner from unlimited was advised and he never called back.
Unlimited Offroad performed extensive work to a fully restored 1983 Jeep Scrambler CJ8. The Scrambler had many minor issues (Unrelated to Unlimited Offroad) each requiring diagnosis, care and attention to detail in order to correct. The staff at UO accepted the challenge and the Jeep is running and driving better than ever. Great service and communication along the way. Kudos to Dan Przybysz who took a personal interest in the project. The overall experience was excellent. Thank you.
I bought 5 new tires with real beadlock. The one was a on the show room floor. All ready mounted. After I had a deal they said they would have to charge me one hour for the one that was monted. They told me how hard it was to do this. I was not to happy. I get home I do 4 set in 50 minutes my self. ( They should pay me to mount there tires) I dont like being ripped off, to bad for them I have a coustom rock crewer and I have a day to day Rubcon. They will never get a penny from me again. !
Business is very unprofessional. Took my sons jeep in to have a lift put on it. Everyday they called to tell us we owed them more money. Even after we questioned them about leaving the 2 lift that was already on and they said everything would be fine, 8 miles down the road they had to come pick us up and tow us back to their shop. Again, we owned them more money. They drained my 15 year old son and completely took advantage of him.
This place is great, very knowledgeable staff and techs, friendly and curtious. Strongly recommend them for your off road needs. I was way over my head on my projects, they talked me off a cliff and work out a plan on how to build my rig. And get this, thru followed up after the fact to see how my project was coming. Really happy with this place, strongly recommend!!!
I recently purchased a 2011 JK rubicon. It needed some work underneath and I needed parts. I have not had service like the one at unlimited offroad. They where willing to help and never ever got tired of me calling. Instead they greated me like they new me already and I live 4 states away. The service was not the only great thing, but the prices where awesome. Im on a limited budget, and when I say limited I mean limited! These guys where the best in wanting to help me get all the parts I needed. So I would say that they care about making a lasting relationship with there customers. Business is business but theses guys have heart. Thanks in particular to Beau that made all this possible, and thank you Ulimited Offroad.
I understand when the salesperson is too busy with one customer to assist another customer BUT a quick hello and “I will be right with you” goes a LONG way. We were in the store for at least 10 minutes and waited at the counter for another 10. Not one word was said to us. Please train your weekend person to at least say hello. I won’t be back .
I highly recommend Unlinited Off-road. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and the showroom is clean and organized. Justin S. was helpful and able to answer all my questions and got me exactly what I wanted. On a side note, I highly recommend the Warn ZEON winch and AEV bumpers. 😊

The sales guys here are knowledgeable, personable and willing to help you work through everything when it comes to modding the rig.Their service shop is timely and I’ve never once questioned any parts that unlimited has installed. If you’re looking for a solid shop to get your off-road parts, 14/10 recommend unlimited.Walk on in and talk to Drew, Clint, Eric, and Brandon to get going on that rig!

2022-02-01Great experience, very helpful! We started a lift and kept running into problems at home / on our own. The staff at Unlimited Offroad were very knowledgeable and helped us along the way to get everything back on track. We changed the lift and what an amazing difference- wish we would have started here. Needless to say we ended here and will definitely be back!

2022-04-16I had 2.5 lift installed on my gladiator about a month ago. It looks great and rides great. The staff answered all of my questions and were patient with all my questions. Never felt like they were just trying to sell me something and or anything. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in making upgrades to their jeep.

2022-05-21Went to Unlimited Offroad and wanted to add some personality to my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. They hooked me up with 35s and a nice AEV lift. Eric and Brandon were great to work with. These guys know their Jeeps! I couldnt be more happier than I am with the service and their expertise. I went in with my cute little 2 door Wrangler and came home with exactly what I was hoping for. A Wrangler with a personality and a bit of an attitude. Do not hesitate to get with these guys for all of your Jeep needs...they ROCK!!

2022-06-03My front axle broke on my Jeep and I decided to have it towed here for repairs. I knew there would be more things that needed to be done so they kept it a while and did everything possibly needed to get my rig back up and running! Clint and all the guys here have been amazing at keeping me updated and explaining things thoroughly. I will only ever take my Jeep here for future repairs and upgrades!

2022-06-21This is my second upgrade to my Jeep. The clutch wore out in my 2008 Wrangler and it was suggested that I install a Centerforce 2. They did a fantastic job and the whole crew here is a pleasure to work with. Special shout out to Brandon and whoever helped me when I first dropped off the Jeep.

2022-06-03What an amazing showroom and excellent sales staff. They answer all questions and provide you with the confidence you deserve when handing over your rig to get worked on. They do it right!
