Had insulation service by USA Today. Brandon, Henry, & Jesse were the staff who did the insulation. They were on time, very polite, used shoe covers. We were pleased with these young men. All seemed to take pride in what they were doing.
The Trucu2 team showed up exactly on time to do a foam insulation on our 1920s home. They began prep work right away as the inside of the house was inspected for any problems. As the work progressed I could tell that they were very experienced and everything moved right along.I would recommend USA foam insulation without hesitation.
I had Ian and Rachel here on a service call. They both were very professional and did exactly as directed. There seems to be an issue with communication coming from the supervisor and sales team, but as far as the techs and overall job it was pretty good.

*Job Not done/ what I paid for*CALLS DODGED and IGNORED AND GIVEN THE RUN AROUND*FALSE PROMISES*NO CUSTOMER SERVICEI left an extensive review of my honest experience and it must have been so bad the company had it removed.I can attest that I experienced almost the same experience as all the 1 star reviews.The crews that came out to fix the problems were professional and amazing!!!! Customer service all the way up to the owner is a joke!
I received a quote of $15,780 and put down a deposit of $7,890 in December. This past weekend, I removed old insulation from basement and crawl space sill area (6 construction garbage bags stuffed to capacity) Took down all the outer wall pictures and decorations. Emptied out the attic storage area. Moved shelving, furniture, etc. 4 feet away from basement walls. Today was insulation day. The installers informed me that they could not do the second story on 2 sides of my house due to the Mansard style roof. That was approximately 30% of the job. I was first told they would do the rest of the house, attics, basement sill and first story walls for $900 less than original quote (seriously!) That is less than 10% of the total job! The Install supervisor came to the house to see what could be done. Apparently the sales person never drilled into the wall to know that the mansard roof area could not be done. They offered to do the attic and the basement rim joist area (no walls ) for $8000. I declined. My brother and I can purchase blown in insulation and do that ourselves for a lot cheaper. I am purchasing some spray insulation sealant, a tyvek suit, respirator, goggles and nitrile gloves and will be doing the basement myself! It really pisses me off that I get no compensation for the time I put in to get everything ready, and having my house without the extra insulation that I pulled out. My furnace is working over time, until I can get this done myself. I will say that the Service Guys were extremely apologetic about the whole situation.
We had insulation put in by this company, quoted over 10K to have our walls, basement and attic insulated. The salesman said our walls were not insulated. They were. The workmen learned that after they drilled a bunch of holes all throughout our bedrooms and bath upstairs and small ones in brick. They discounted our price and gave us a few hundred back (I had to re-paint 3 rooms and a bath over poor patch jobs).After about a month, we found that one of the attic doors in the closet was dripping from condensation. The wood up in the attic is now dark from moisture. We never had moisture up there, stored lots of boxes, everything was fine when we took them down.They came back when I called them to say they must have covered our vents and left. Its still dripping, we still have condensation up there so I dont know what they did when they came back but there is still no chance for things to dry up, which means we are potentially breathing in mold/mildew. I am allergic to that! I called the company back- we were told February 4th, the date when they would come back and remove the wet insulation. I told them they need to send someone now, since the attic is still condensing. I was told they cannot come until February 4th, which means we will sit and wait for condensation to keep going, for mold and mildew to ruin our attic, for me and my husband and son to breath in whatever mold and mildew is forming up there as we speak. Also, they seem to want to spray Wet and Forget and put insulation right back on top of it, even though the wood will still retain the moisture underneath. Dustin, the service manager I spoke with yesterday, had no opinion about that.I think the owners name is Chris Holmes. I could not get his number but I am still looking and will be filing a complaint with LARA and BBB. We did not need this headache and a company thats too busy to fix their own mistakes is not a company I would ever hire again. Everyone knows you have to have airflow in the attic. We signed on the dotted line on the day of the presentation, took their financing on the day the salesman was here (a young kid and paid it off completely. Now that they got their money, we are no longer a priority.
USA INSULATION INSULATED OUR RANCH HOME. They did the exterior walls and attic. Our crew, Michael and Nick, TRUCK 2, were professional and courteous. They completed our project in 6 hrs and started on time at 8:15am. I would suggest that you will get a great job, well done, with no complications. Guaranteed to satisfy your budget.
Mike (truck#2) and his crew installed insulation in my attic and in 3 walls. They did an excellent job. They were here 6 hours and never stopped working. Mike even helped me move some shelves and put them back for me. They cleaned everything up when they were done. They were all very professional. I was very happy with their work.
My home was freezing in the winter so I paid US insulation thousands of dollars to add foam insulation into the walls of my condo. Because it is a condo, they cut very large holes in the walls of my home - about 9 very large holes drilled out of each wall. Had to hire someone to to hire someone to repair the holes and repaint. AND MY HOME IS STILL JUST AS FREEZING as before paying all that $$$ and went through all that aggravation.
The crew was extremely nice and professional. They did the attic and all the walls. They cleaned up and left the house as it was when them came. Thank you!! Definitely would recommend them.
One of the most aggravating experiences I have had with a business. I can not in good conscious recommend this company to do Insulation at your home. I have tried to work with them to no avail. It took them three trips and two giant messes to finish the project, the second crew finding work the first crew failed to do. They do NOT return phone calls as promised. The sales person must have worked a time share company prior to this job. He talked a good game and promised a lot. When the install crew arrive they didnt know what he was talking about. I got cheated out of a rebate because the salesmen neglected to mention a blow test for before and after (CMF50 measurements) that is required for the rebate. I insisted on speaking with the owner of the business, they said they would have him call me, never happened like all the other promises to call me back. So disappointed in this company.
Wanna give Mike a super outstanding five star job! He went above and beyond the call of what was needed in my home I so appreciate him taking the time and the expertise to make my job look perfect.
Chandler and John Truck #5 were friendly, courteous, conscientious and explained their process of adding attic insulation, sealers etc and what was done.
Isaac and Rob, truck 9, provided insulation blown into the walls of an addition to the house. They were pleasant hardworking and efficient.Jerry and Omari, truck 6 were also here to insulate a crawl space under the addition. They too were hardworking and efficient.Overall the four men rate a 10 out of ten. They cleaned up after themselves nicely . Exceeded my expectations for quality. Were pleasant, explained the process and were timely. Excellent work provided by highly credible and trustworthy young men.
The install team, Loe, Octavio and Scott that serviced our home were very professional, polite and proficient. Thanks gentlemen keep up the awesome work.
I had them spray foam the walls, attic and crawlspace its been about two years I have not felt any change in temperature since they installed the foam, it is still the coldest room of my house
Truck #2 and truck #5 did our insulation and they did a great job. Very professional group of individuals. My wife had a request to take care of the garden, and they made it a point to cover the flowers and work around everything. Even after the job was done I had called to get something looked at a week later, with no hesitation the team was sent back out to assist. Would recommend them to friends for sure.

Austin and his crew did a great job installing the insulation. They were on-time, efficient and informed us as to what would happen exactly from start to finish. The three guys were friendly and respectful of my husband and myself. We are very happy with the overall experience.
Cristian, Chandler and Nick from truck 5, came and sprayed insulation in the attic. They were all very professional and nice. Prompt appt time and a job well done. They were pouring sweat so I made sure they left with some waters because it was a super hot day and they had another whole house to do. They were great, highly recommend them!!
We like the product. Very poor sales pressure tactics and ridiculous analogies. The product sells itself. However, the time which I was told they would be there was noon. They showed up at 8am. Then the actual workers told me the real story of what I needed to do to make the walls open to drill and prepare. Sadly the salesman never told me these details and I was scrambling around trying to get things right. Also, the discussion with the salesman was to get the crawl space done, but that apparently wasnt actually on the extensively multiple pages long contract. The workers did their jobs. However they completely forgot to Insulate the primary area we truly needed to be done. In my own check getting up in the upper roof space (Im 61) I had to tell the workers the they totally missed that. Of course they went back to the contract but they did find that it was on there. So they had to get the equipment back out (they were packed to leave) and do what they were supposed to do. Also, realize that there are going to be holes on the sides of your home. Yes they filled them. The brick areas look very good, but the wood siding filling has already sunk and has lots of gaps that need refilling. The salesman said that these would only need minor sanding and small touch up paint. That is not true. They need additional filling then another day of drying, then sanding and finally painting. In conclusion, I do believe that the product is good. But be warned that you will potentially get a salesman who either doesnt know how the work is done, or isnt really telling the truth. Also, be ready to sign and initial a ton of papers which Im sure covers any complaints which a customer has.
Usa insulation came for a quote, and it was a ridiculous price, after what seemed like a fake phone call the price came down $3500, and the high price pitch sale was way off beat , what they told me about the competition was untrue, I got another quote from another company and the price was much more reasonable,with almost exactly the same work and material as USA .
The installation team was awesome! Josh (truck 8) was professional, patient and honest. Honestly, if it had not been for his courteous and customer service attitude I would have cancelled my install. I was fortunate to have him show up for my install.Genaro/Cristian (truck 5) took the time to explain the install process and what I should expect upon completion by providing me with before and after pictures of their work. They were efficient and skilled with their portion of the install.I would recommend anyone having the service to have a conversation with a service manager before a whole house Insta because what I was told by the sales rep and what I received at installation was not the same.With better and honest sales representation of their products I would give USA a five star but mainly for their service crew and organization.
The entire team from the operators on call, sales rep, and insulation team were all very professional and willing to do what’s right for the customer.Genaro and Cristian in truck #5 were my installers today. They came right on time, got straight to work and were very polite. They made sure to keep the entire area they were working in protected from and insulation. They did a wonderful job overall. The best thing about it was, we weren’t inconvenienced in anyway. We could hardly tell they were working in the attic. I would recommend the company 100 out of 100 times.Thank you!
We had a very pleasant experience, the crew was at our house at 8 a.m. and put in a full days work. They were very easy to work with very professional and very courteous they even asked if we wanted them to remove their shoes before working in the house which we did because we dont even wear shoes in our home which we really appreciated. They worked very hard, cleaned up their mess. They all seem to really get along and enjoy what they do which is very important. The supervisor came by at the end to make sure everything was done properly . They did a walk-through to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. As far as we can tell great job would recommend. I cant wait to see our heating bills go down and our air conditioning run less. My husband already said after one day he notices a difference!
Truck #2 did an excellent job today at my home for attic insulation. They were thoughtful, clean and efficient. The entire process from sales to install with USA insulation was excellent. I would recommend to anyone!
After a long time coming, we intended to get insulation on our home, seeing as how there was little to none. We were recommended USA Insulation by a family friend of ours and we ended up scheduling them. The actual installation did not take long at all (Thank you to the people in install team 2 and truck number 2) and we have definitely noticed a massive improvement due to the foam material they use. Definitely worth the money in the long run.
I’ve was so impressed with the team of USA Installation. Mike S, Michael, Kiley and Lucas of truck 2, did a great job! Very professional. They left our home like they were never here. Siding back in place and a good cleanup.We could tell the difference the 1st night. Didnt need to use the extra heater upstairs. Very exciting! Thank you!
The team of Cristian, Chandler, and James ( Truck #5) arrived on time and completed their insulation project in a timely matter. They shared photos of the work they accomplished and explained the process and what they completed and what they couldn’t reach in the attic. They cleaned up after the project was complete. I’m satisfied with the work the team did. Hopefully, it will prevent the ice damming I had this past winter. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs to insulate.
After suspecting our house had been poorly insulated we called USA Insulation for a quote. The salesman that came out was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ended up scheduling time to get our attic insulation up to spec as well as our rim joist spray foam insulated. Cristian, Chandler, and James (truck5) showed up early to the appointment (which is unheard of these days) and completed the attic insulation very quickly. Great experience throughout the entire process. On day of Install crew called and gave me arrival time. truck #2 Leader mike was very professional and respectful. The guys knocked out the job Of Injection foam and cleaned up any mess they made! Highly recommended if thinking about using another insulation company don’t, call USA insulation instead pricing was very competitive.
Great experience with the USA Insulation install team of Genaro and Cristian. One of my fears of blown in fiberglass installation was the mess it could end up making. I was very pleased at how there was no evidence of them in my home...in fact they left it cleaner than when they got there. I was happy that they even cleaned the wood chips in the front of the house. Overall...very happy with the installation team.I could do without the schtick of the sales pitch, but at the end of the day, USA Insulation gave me the best price. My piece of advice for anyone shopping around for attic insulation is to make the appointment with these guys last. Stay warm.
Overall our experience was good. I would recommend. The team showed up promptly at 8am and was done by 10. They were quick, courteous, asked if I had any questions and cleaned up before they left. Happy camper on that endThe other end of our expeirence was with the sales staff. During the sales portion. we were told that there would be a pre-inspection team here before in the installation and that he would also be here to see how things are going. However neither of that happened so not happy with being sold empty promises. Also the sales tactics did seem a little pushy at times but I get that the guy is trying to make a living.. There was also some communication problems and were not told both of us need to be present to sign assorted documents until the day before whic is a challenge when one of us is off at work.
The quote given for my attic insulation was not the lowest, but they offered more than the lowest bid. The salesman was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and didn’t push me for a decision.The installers (Genavo and Cristian) were friendly yet professional. The arrived promptly at 8am (I was told between 8 & 10). Protection was laid down to protect my floors and they proceeded to do their jobs. Before I knew it they were done. Asked if I wanted to go up in the attic and they would point out what had been done or they would show pictures they took as they worked. They cleaned up everything and vacuumed the floor. They pulled out of the driveway 4 1/2 hours later. Very impressive.
Installation of walls, floor and attic was completed efficiently. Kyley, John and Chandler were attentive to my requests and worked very hard to meet my homes specific needs. The house is now much quieter and I can already tell the A/C is running less often!
Our project was very complex, and USA insulation quoted us the lowest price compared to other companies. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Most of all, when there was a discrepancy in the price, manager Cliff cleared up the confusion and service tech Chandler & Christian completed the job according to the original contract. From the first call to the home visit, interactions with sales department, and the service techs, its this level of high quality service from USA Insulation that sets them above the rest.

The guys arrived 15 minutes early to ensure an on time start.They wore shoe coverings in my home to keep the floors clean and put down plastic to protect the window sill and floor.Also they asked where I’d prefer to have the hose come into the home for the insulation install to ensure my level of comfort.The area was left clean once they competed and shared the before and after photos for my records.Kudos to Genaro & Cristian from truck #5.

Every part of my experience with USA Insulation was fantastic. Our salesman Dean was knowledgeable and did a great job explaining our options. He also helped us coordinate a quick and painless installation. Id recommend USA insulation for anyone whos thinking about getting insulation for their home. When they came for the estimate they explained everything really clearly and concisely. I was unaware that in Michigan the homes werent required to have insulation before 1977. We checked between our walls and there was nothing but space so we knew we needed it. They use a plant based foam thats not a carcinogen which is extremely important to me. Its not cheap, but you get what you pay for. This will definitely save me during the winters and summers from now on. First the customer service and service are impeccable. The crew was amazing that did the job. They were accommodating and really went the extra mile. Some of the foam got in my heat return and they came out asap and cut the foam and cleaned all the rest of the dust and dirt out of my heat return.Today is the first really cold morning, its like 35 outside and we dont have the heat on - at all. I definitely feel a big difference. I cant wait to see what the heat test that they do in the winter looks like cause I wanna see the visual difference in the heat from outside the wall to here.

Install Team: Truck 1, Kev, Stu & Brandon. The guys arrived on time and ready to work. They were very professional & courteous. Everything was explained out to me and I was updated throughout the process. We did a final walk through and Im happy with the service I received.
Our experience from beginning to end was great. The office staff was helpful getting us the appointment quickly, the salesperson explained everything thoroughly and the installation crew came on time, cleaned up completely and went through the process after they were finished.
Professional and prompt. The crew arrived on time, worked quickly and were done in less than three hours. There is a small disconnect between the sales force and the installers. Some things I was told would be done by sales team, the installers said either were not needed or no longer done that way. Otherwise, it was a simple smooth experience. Everyone from the salesman to the install team and schedulers were very courteous and friendly.
This is the second phase of our process and we had another wonderful experience. Austin, Luke and Mike from truck #1 were very detailed oriented and did what was best for our home. They worked hard and took great care of the outside of our home. Thank you!!
I was very pleased with the work done at my home. The team was on time and very efficient. I was informed of what was happening at all times, including the baseline air flow test. Im anxious to see what the follow-up value will be. Clean-up was well done and a minor issue was corrected within 24-hrs. I highly recommend USA Insulation.
The technicians did a great job of explaining the work being performed in the attic and basement. I appreciated them keeping me updated throughout each part of the job. They did an amazing job with cleanup and I am feeling the difference already in our home. I am looking forward to getting the walls looked at next year to see if they need insulating.
We have several types of Insulation installed, and each one required a different truck. The #5 and #2 teams who came to install were incredibly professional, quick, and very nice. Were excited to see the difference in efficiency and hope itll make a difference.
WOW. I felt the difference immediately. We just purchased an 120 year old farm house up north near Standish. Of course there was NOTHING and I mean NOTHING in my walls. The sawdust in there settled down years ago. Well, right from the sales representative (I believe his name was D.J.) to the professional team that conducted the job, were AWESOME. They kept us informed every step of the way. WOW again. When you spend serious money its important what the outcome is. We are very happy with this outcome. Our first night we could feel the warmth in our cozy home thanks to you. I highly recommend UAS insulation.❤🏠❤
Daniel and Jeff were great to deal with. I explain my future use of the space that they were spraying and they accommodated everything to the exact detail that I specified. They worked extremely well together in order to have a perfect outcome. I would highly recommend these two truck number 6 rocks!!
Issac and Rob (T9) insulated our breakfast room and Jerry and Omari (T6) insulated the crawl space beneath the room. All were consumate professionals, obviously proud to provide their services efficiently and conscientiously. Job done in a timely manner with thorough cleanup.Addendum: Though I stick by my original review, I want to point out that cracks appeared in the walls where the insulation was blown in and then mudded. When I requested that these mudded cracks be filled in with additional mud, the individual I communicated with said that the contract called for only one application. Consumers need be aware that cracks probably appear regularly with the one application contracted.
I’ve had two different companies spray foam my home. One for the main house, USA for my bonus room. I can easily say USA WAS BY FAR THE BEST! The technicians were professional, did exactly what I asked, and were polite and COVID compliant. Unlike the other (more expensive) company, they did not cut my network cables or leave a terrible mess that I had to clean up. In fact, they left the space neater than they found it. I highly recommend USA INSULATION!

We had our whole house done, foam in the walls and blown in fiberglass in the attic. First word that comes to mind is wow! What a difference. The walls and attic were done a week apart, our fault. We had bees in the attic. so the walls were done and first thing I noticed was sound. Sitting in my chair I could not hear the cars going by! This usa foam is some amazing stuff. Then the attic was done and what a great job they did. Now as for the installation we had michael and the fellas of truck #2. These guys are pure professionals. Very couterious, respectful and all around great guys. They really know how to work as a team. Michael kept me informed as the day progressed. Foam was installed from the outside and the left our place cleaner than when they arrived. Same with the attic, everything was cleaned and vacuumed. I cannot say enough good things about usa insulation and the guys of truck #2. If you are in the market for insulation do not hesitate to hire this company. You will not regret it! Again thanks for a job well done.

Did not feel a difference at all in our crawl space where the insulation was sprayed. The floor is still ice cold, and honestly feels colder than it was before the USA insulation guys came out. Also, we were never explicitly informed by the sales associate that we needed to leave the home during the spray installation. He rushed us to sign the disclosures and never left us with a copy, which apparently said that it is recommended to leave the home for 24 hours during and after the foam is sprayed. We have a newborn and the installer started spraying and then told us we should probably vacate the home as the material is toxic. We scrambled in the middle of the pandemic to find a place to stay with no notice. The service manager’s only comment to us was that we signed the contract so we should have been aware of the need to leave the house so there is nothing they can do for us. Honestly extremely poor customer service and bad business practice. Would never recommend to anyone - save your money.
Three men came out to do the job, - Cliff, Mitchell and another guy. They arrived 15 min ahead of the scheduled time and were very friendly and professional. They took the time to explain to me what tasks they would be performing, what materials were going to be utilized and answered any and all questions I had along the way. They performed the work quickly and efficiently. They took the time to ensure that they work protective foot covering while in our home and cleaned up after the job was complete. Cliff did a post job inspection with me to ensure that I was happy with their work and stated that if anything was not satisfactory including the cleaning, that they would resolve the matter until I was satisfied.Overall, I would highly recommend this company and crew for any home insulation needs! Also, the cost was on par or better than much of their competition.
The quality of the work was good. The workers were very professional and courteous and cleaned up well. The problem was that their truck leaked all over my driveway. Also when injecting the insulation, the pressure tore my baseboard molding off my walls. They came back a week later to assess the damage and said they would return to 2 days to repair it. They did not show up or call. When i called back, they just made excuses why they couldnt be there. Serveral calls later, I was told the installation manager would come out to fix everything himself. He gave me a time and date. No show...no call. Worst customer service I have every experienced. I would never recommend this company to anybody!After the response you see below, I have tried several times to contact Chris. He has avoided all my calls. He claims Im not a customer, but I have receipts to prove it. Thanks again for nothing.UPDATE 10/18/2020After many weeks of trying to resolve this issue, its finally done. Fabulous company.Felt a lil draft around my front door so I called to see what could be done, even though the initial work was done over a year ago they sent a rep out immediately then a whole crew the following week to redo my whole house.Beyond happy with the response and work done
The workers were excellent. They were friendly and explained exactly what they were going to do. Once done they showed pictures of all the work they did, including they attic as well as all of the outside. They also cleaned up everything when done. I was very impressed with the job done.
Chandler and Christian on truck #5 arrived 15 minutes before 8am which is awesome. They were very professional, and walked me through their process. I placed my temp on 73 and noticed a huge difference on my second level. 👍🏾

USA Insulation recently installed new insulation in our attic, basement rim joists and select walls. They did a very good job, very professional and the the team who worked on-site were very respectful to the entire family + the dogs. We look forward to a nice warm home during these upcoming cold winter nights.
I’ve never felt so pushed and uncomfortable in my own home before. After reading other reviews, I guess I’m not alone! We called and requested a quote. Well after three hours of being pushed to commit on the spot, we finally got our quote! $15,000 quote went down each time we said that it wasn’t in the cards right now for us. I found myself feeling guilty toward the salesman as we were denying the quotes, but afterward I felt angry and used. THREE HOURS OF MY EVENING FOR A SIMPLE QUOTE! Each time the numbers didn’t add up.Listen, your sales guy was nice, but ease up on your customers and give them time to think and you might make a sale! Being pushed to frustration and feeling violated is not the way.
We are very happy with the service of the USA insulation during application of the spray in foam in the walls, and the blown in insulation in the attic. They cleaned up when finished and very courteous! Mike and his crew were prompt, and professional!
Our installers, Josh and Jeremy did a good job keeping us informed and cleaned up good.I would recommend them to any home owner.USA came highly recommended-we just we’re not informed of their pushy estimators!What I did not like was the salesman, DeanHe was an hour late from the time quoted-no phone call, just oh well!! Then he was to give us a quote on the attic insulation and he proceeded to tell my husband we had bad insulation in our walls!!He intimidated my husband to the point that he would not leave u til my husband signed on the dotted line!!I made the phone call for the estimate and I was home waiting but Dean did not show until I left!!Dean had my husband so upset that to this day my husband does not remember Dean or signing for anything!! Should be a rule that whoever calls for estimates is the one the estimate is given to!!
Just had a salesman come out to quote us on whole home insulation. Appt was at 6:30pm. He called at 6:30 and said he wouldn’t be here until 8. We said that’s ok we understand. We warned him when he got here that we had a sleeping infant. He tours the attic, drills a hole in our wall to check the in wall insulation. Explains to us why his company is superior, why his material is superior, etc. we warned him from the start that this week we are gathering estimates from several sources and doing our research because this is our forever home and we want to make the right decision with such an investment. He became so pushy trying to get us to commit to signing with them. As time went on, the price got cheaper and cheaper and cheaper and eventually was 1/2 the cost he initially quoted. He would not take no for an answer. Our answer remained the same, that this week we are researching and getting several quotes. It is now almost 10pm and he finally left- only after me telling him there was zero chance of me signing with them after being so pushy and that the negative reviews of theirs on Google were all the same reason- being pushy to get people to commit. I was about to threaten to have him removed from my home by the police bc he would not take no for an answer. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own home.
A salesman name Cliff came to our house, made a drawing of our rim joist and gave us a quote. He made a huge point that if we had questions he’s a sales person that actually answers his phone and email. He pressured us to make a commitment right then and there. We did, but then we had a few questions well he didn’t actually leave any of his contact info. We called the office and they flat out told us we couldn’t talk to him. It was so weird! I don’t trust this company. Why couldn’t he call us? Why didn’t he leave his contact info like told me he did? We ended up going through with this and they did a fine job but this is a company I do not trust and would not recommend
The guys called to let me know they were on their way and how long before they would be at my house.They wore shoe coverings in my home to keep the floors clean and put down plastic to protect the floor.They also put plastic around the gardens to protect my plantsThe area was left clean once they completed. They showed me the before and after photos of our attic.Kudos to truck #2.
They lie and never return calls. I signed up for one thing and they ended up doing part of the job. The falsified notes about calling me when they never did. It took over a month after the original install to get and answer. I left 5 messages for the general manager and he returned once. Said he would call back in 15 mins and 2 weeks later never called. Truly and embarrassing way to run a business. I would stay away from this company.

James, Luis, and Mike came out to spray foam the back room of our pole barn this weekend. They did an incredible job. This was some of the smoothest spray foam I have ever seen and you can’t even feel cold from the metal walls now. We put a tiny electric heater in that room for a few hours and it heated up to 65 degrees!!! Previously that barely got it to 40! The guys were fast, professional, and very friendly. We already had our attic done with this company and we’ll be having USA Insulation back out to foam our home soon, too. I highly recommend this company to anyone with a cold home or high energy bills. They’re simply the best in the business
Three men came to do the job -- Cliff, Mitchell and Joseph. They were awesome; they were very friendly and professional!!! Cliff explained exactly what the insulation procedure involved -- the materials that were used. They all worked hard; they cleaned up after they completed the job. The price was, I think, quite reasonable, says the woman who knows absolutely nothing about insulation pricing. I did, however, obtain 3 estimates for this job; USA Insulation was the best price, by a Canadian mile!!! I would definitely recommend this Company; these guys did a superior job!!! If you are looking to have insulation installed anywhere in your home, there is no need to look any further than USA Insulation!!!

The crew came out, explained what was to be done and proceeded to get started on a very cold day. They cleaned up afterwards. They explained what to look for the next 4 days. They were Truck 2 crew. I would recommend to anyone with an older home and tired of the cold rooms, to reach to have them come seal up your home
Daniel and Jerry were incredibly professional. My insulation was a little too thick due to a miscommunication on my part, and they came back and scraped the insulation down to what was needed for my job, gave me other insulation tips and cleaned everything up!Definitely recommend this group!

Just got the job done it was a great all around existence. Starting with the sales person, then on to the service people. Sales person was from Detroit area, service people from Lansing area. I had the crawl space, walls and ceilings done. Expensive but worth the money wife and I could tell the difference right away. They also came back out on an area I had a worried about. Good job!
Service technicians, sales and installation was perfect. Customer service rep @Auburn Hills office was rude and threatened twice to put us into collections due to technician not showing up at appointed time for air flow test for consumers energy rebate. Test was done today by Mike B who was apologetic for what the customer rep told us about collections. Shame on your customer service rep, you are hurting your employers business.

Every employee I interacted with was friendly, courteous, and professional. There was a small mishap while insulating my garage walls resulting in a small area of drywall damage. This was brought to my attention immediately, and then fixed very quickly. The crew worked efficiently and did a great job. Very satisfied with the work and the customer service.

I want to start with the salesman,George, he did not push me to have the job done. He anwered all my questions without hesitation. That for me is a great plus.The installers ( Rob, Andrew, Brandon and Jack ) were very knowledgeable and polite, they are hard workers they made sure to look over my whole house and coved every area with insulation both foam and blown in. The crew from USA Insulation that did the insulation work at my home on 4/19/19, were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They also worked very efficiently, and the clean-up afterward was great. They left the property clean as it was when they came. Kudos to Ian and his crew! I noted that the house was a lot quieter after the job was done. Too soon to judge how much warmer the house is, since the heating season is almost over. Hopefully this will make a big difference this coming winter. I did not note any chemical smell since the insulation was completed. I read that this could be an issue, however, as stated, I didnt notice any chemical odors. Thank you for a job well done!
Truck #4 was fantastic!!! They were prompt and on-time and they were extremely efficient, professional, friendly, pleasant and hard-working all day long!! Isaac, Jack and Stuart were awesome to work with!!
The salesman, Tom, was overly pushy. He kept trying to give quotes for a scope of work that was not requested or desired, including insisting on checking out parts of the house where we did not want any work performed. He was an hour late and did not call ahead of time, and arrived not wearing mask like hes been living under a rock for the last year plus. Just a complete lack of respect. When presented with a more affordable quote from a competitor, he was magically able to offer to cut 1/3 of the initial quote. Tried pushy sales techniques, including guilt tripping about the workers not having their usual workload, therefore making less money. Was not respectful of our time, space, or needs.

My experience with USA Insulation was not as good as everyone else’s. Our sales agent was a guy name Kyle, he appeared nice and professional but he disappeared after we told him we wanted to think about our next step before scheduling the appointment for the work. While in the process of evaluating our alternatives we called, left a voicemail and even sent an email asking Kyle to assist us with follow on questions that we had. We NEVER heard from him again. I’m not sure if our age, our ethnicity or if we appeared as if we couldn’t afford the work played a role in him not responding to our correspondence but USA Insulation lost out on a customer. The sad part is, we went with a competitor who charged twice as much as USA Insulation but the customer service is what sold us. I wish we could’ve gotten one of the other agents and crew everyone else wrote a review about...this one would have been a totally different review.Signed,Confused Customer
Professional and friendly estimator Cliff and Ians installation crew for demo and foam. They kept the work place clean and asked questions about my concern. at the end they asked for me to take a look for any areas that looked low. Fraud!!Just an update because the owner wants to hide the fraud. The crawl space has only one access and it’s a huge one, the salesman went there and measured it. I discussed with him how it will be done. He knows part of it needs vapor barrier because no cement or slab. Vapor barrier was part of the agreement and was never done.25% of crawl space was done, not insulated:I asked the sales guy (Tom) to give me a quote on crawl space and attic insulation. He measured the crawl space and gave a quote, after negotiations and I agreed to the quote. After doing the crawl space, I found out they did only 25% of the crawl space and no vapor barrier was placed despite it was written in the contract. I spoke to Tom and his manager, their response was “this was your contract and this was what you paid for”, I told him why should I have a part of the crawl space insulated? Does this mean insulation at all??! Insulation is all or none. I am going to take legal actions against them so other customers don’t get into this.The crew were professional, they were told to do part of the crawl space.

We recently had spray insulation put into our cement block house, outside noise has been reduced and although outside temperature has not been much colder than 30 degrees it seems much warmer in the rooms previously cold. Crew was hard working, on time and left everything just like they found it. So far, very happy with everything and would definitely recomend USA Insulation for any and all insulation jobs.

Two separate crews worked on our home. I would have given an overall 5 star review if both crews had performed at the level of Quinshawn, James, and Andy. They were very pleasant and professional. I’m anxious to see the impact on our winter heating bills, but so far, so good.

Im waiting to see a positive impact on my energy bill but so far everything has gone well. Some cracks appeared on several walls (my house was built in 1938) and one of the wires to my alarm system was accidentally cut during the attic insulation process but USA has made good on fixing everything so far. The mortar they used to fill in the holes made during the foam insulation process matches so well I can hardly tell the difference. I would definitely recommend this company.

So far they have not been up to par. Poorly installed insulation in walls with voids and then I paid to have blow in insulation in the attic at r-30 (18 inches.) They only put in about 8 inches. Their services are poor at best. I will update this review if they finally get it done right.

Great customer service. I had the entire house insulated. My house was built in 1957 with a family room addition in the 70s. I have a family room that does not have a heat source so I had a space heater that hardly raised the temperature to a comfortable temp. Afterwards, there were days that I didnt even turn it on. What a difference. the job was competed they walked me around the house and explained exactly what they did. The crew was friendly and the price was less than other companies. WOW what a difference.
Truck #4 just did a great job insulated my whole home and attach. Did a great job and cleaned up well after finishing. Super pumped about the new insulation!

If I could post a rating with 15 stars I would. This company was fantastic - from the inspector/salesman to the crew that came to do the work, everyone was knowledgeable, kind, courteous, accomodating and hard working. There were several unexpected situations that came up and they handled every single one like true professionals. Some of my insulation issues were truly unique so they have to come out one more time to complete those items. If they perform then, like they have performed so far, Ill write another review just like this. Of particular note is their desire for the customer to look over their work and point out anything you think should be different, was missed, etc. We had Clif Wright as the team leader with a team of Guy, Ian, Andy, Pauli, Joe, and Quinshawn. If you have USA Insulation fix your insulation issues and any of the individuals above are assigned to your house - you are in good hands. All of them are fantastic.

6 gentlemen from this company, just left my house 1/24/18...1) had several companies come out to quote , these guys were the cheapest and did more than the other quotes.2) they went above and beyond ! My addition was not a easy task to get into the roof line but I watched as he crawled in and blew the insulation in. The other workers told me its because hes skinny lol3) They noticed a few problems with my access panels and my exhaust fan from the bathroom and just went ahead and fixed them.4) There clean up was impeccable!***** highly recommend! !! ********
My experience with USA Insulation has been excellent, from start to finish. Quention and his crew were punctual, courteous and extremely professional. I would gladly recommend them to anyone that needs their home insulated.
Crew was knowledgeable. Willing to assist when ever requester. Clif Tyler, and DJ were very personable and willing to interact in a very positive and constructive way. Work was completed professionally with a high amount of efficiency. When we had the carbon monoxide issue all three understood the seriousness of the situation and reacted appropriately. They were concerned about the quality of the job and completion in a timely manner. I was especially pleased in their willingness to help clean the area upon exiting.The carbon monoxide issue was caused by a crack in my furnace heat exchanger. The police, medical staff, and fire department all arrived at my house at once. Clif and Tyler were checked out to ensure that there were no issues with their health. USA insulation was in no way at fault for the creation of the carbon monoxide but were willing to make sure that all was handled safely.

We had an idea to use foam insulation as a deterrent for chipmunks that kept getting into the drop ceiling of our basement. USA Installation went over and above to make our vision a reality. The installation team members were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They answered all our questions. They cleaned up after the installation. There is no smell from the foam insulation they use. We have had it only a day so far, but noticed it has cut down on the noise level from outside.
We spent $5000 and still have to use a space heater. The bedroom walls are cold to the touch, and there was no significant decrease in outside noise that was advertised. The crew was nice but not sure if they correctly installed the insulation. Very disappointed.

Watch these guys if u hire them. They came out to my house and filled my walls. So I though. I was doing some remodeling work. I removed exterior walls that were suppose to be filled and they had zero insulation in them. They did come back and fix it but be careful. $6000 and they had to come back and redo it. The owner tried to say that it was a bad mix. I would buy that if the walls didnt have spider webs in it.
Terrible reviews on other companies left us extremely worried until we found these guys! We still got a couple quotes from other places, which only further proved this. The entire process, from first contact to our end result was outstanding! Very knowledgeable, patient and responsive! Do yourself and your family a favor and look no further! Its been months since we had the insulation put it, and Im happy to report it solved all of our issues and we couldnt be more pleased!

Ive called USA installation on several occasions to have someone come out and service the damage they did while insulating my house. one of their workers drill through the outside wall causing damage to one of my electrical outlets I explained what was going on to several representative an no one has replied back as of today. Im thinking about taking legal action if I dont hear from someone soon.
USA Insulation just finished up insulating my home. They are a very professional company. I had an issue during my install. USA Insulation ownership was on site in 30 minutes to let us know our problems would be corrected. A wire was accidentally cut during the install. An electrician was brought right out and the problem was solved. I highly recommend USA Insulation to anyone interested in insulating their home. We spent the extra money to get this insulation throughout our entire home, We love that it lowered our bills and made our house much more sound proof. We are not happy with how the company handled some issues at the end. Many holes were left unplugged outside, and 3 main walls were blown out from too much insulation being put in, they did come out several times to fix it but did a non-sufficient job and did not have great customer service about it. They also our left the area where the siding was removed with visible hand prints all over the side of our house. The cedar shakes in the front of our house have round holes that were filled but visibly make the house look tacky. I believe the house should have been left in the state that they found it. The fixes they made were less then sufficient. We are now left having to re-drywall 3 large walls and repaint then, replace the cedar shakes in our front of the house and have our house professionally power washed. This is going to cost us almost a $1000 just to put it back to the original condition before they did the work.
Great experience with USA Insulation - good communication about the work to be done ahead of time, during the job, and after. Work was done well and they did a good job of cleaning up afterwards.
Asked for a R-39 minimum roofing quote. Was provided a quote from a standard company form with checkboxes (information provided was extremely limited). The work to be completed on the roof was hand written on the bottom of the form with an R-14 maximum rating. Waste of time.

PLEASE BEWARE - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH USA INSULATION OF DETROIT. This company is not transparent with pricing. I was quoted $3644 up front at my at home estimate, then told they could take $500 off as an early bird estimate and then told the whole project could be done for $1500 as a flex deal. This is not the kind of business that I want to associated with--I dont play games when it comes to my home and money. I also have to say that the flex deal came into play only after my husband and I had to ask the salesperson to leave because he was trying to get us to sign same day for the service after we told him upfront we would not--we had to tell him about 4 different times until finally asking him to leave. THEY ARE SUPER PUSHY AND SHADY from my experience. I also called to speak with a manager to share my experience and she also was extremely pushy and ended up hanging up on me - she told me I was being judgy and ended the conversation by telling me if you arent willing to have someone else come out then we have nothing else to talk about click....
There was a mix-up with the time of the install but the person who took our order and the installers were great. We were very satisfied with the final outcome.

They insulated my attic and basement rim-joists. Customer service was great. They were courteous and respectful. They knew what they were talking about. And, perhaps most importantly, I got like 4 quotes and they were by far the most cost competitive!
Did work at neighbors house and they put the wrong amount of insulation in. So now they have to come back but he has to wait until next year to get it done.

Hate pressure sales plain and simple , i told the salesman that ,and i told him to leave and went inside i went back out to apologize for being hasty , he started rite back on with the pressure told him to leave once again , stood in my driveway on his phone for like 5 minutes then left , i feel bad for the young man ,the company trains the salespeople to do the hi pressure sales ..ill will use a different company

Unfortunately we didnt have the best experience, we were ripped off on the rebate from consumers, first they said we will recieve it in a couple weeks, then they said it was taken off our bill well the bill and the rebate was $200 difference in there favor! plus there was Great Stuff all over our basement floor and belongings
Perhaps one of the best contracting experience I have had at my home in a decade. The work crew was very professional before, during, and after the job.Insulation does not have the wow factor that you can show off like a new kitchen. I choose this company because its not a fly by night operation, all they do is insulation compared with other contractors that do a little bit of everything. They also offer a generous financing program which I took advantage of.If you own a typical Canton tract house like mine which was put together in a hurry (just enough to meet code!) you get tired of paying big heating bills and still freezing in the winter, because of little to no insulation. Its well worth the investment that will pay off in the long run.

And although they look very concerned in words, I have yet to receive a single call, text or email after they said they would reach out to me.Its funny they mention that they size foam by depth, because I am pretty sure that you spray foam from a barrel, meaning you install VOLUME, not DEPTH. You measure height, width and depth to get volume. Thats what you spray. So regardless if the depth is 3 or 4, you are not billing honestly if you charge foam depth but then spray in volume.The fact that no one intended to actually follow-up with me, even after my original review, is consistent with the lack of costumer care from USA Insulation that I had so far. I has really hopeful that someone would indeed follow up with me... but not even an email.Im happy that over 8000 people have seen this review by now.ORIGINAL Review:Ill start with the positives: the quality of the work was superb. I have no doubt that my house will benefit greatly from the spray foam even more than I expected. The installers did a fantastic job in covering everything, super friendly, started on-time, and did a great job in cleaning up everything. I have no question about the quality of the work.Now the negatives: the whole process was very uncomfortable for me, from the first phone call to the installation date, and I really feel like I was ripped off. The salesmen, who only gave me his first name and not any contact info, took some measurements on my house and then gave me a quote for 4” spray foam. Then the salesmen immediately started the mind game of pressuring me to sign a contract to lock in the price, not even wanting to give me one day to discuss and review even after I politely asked him. He even said they can take credit cards by paper…! Being the desperate fool that I am, I caved and paid the $500 deposit. After signing 3 pages of contract, salesmen left and never reached out again. It was only after he left that I realized that the price I “locked” myself in was 3x larger than the quote I got over the phone, even though it should have been less because the window area was not subtracted from the phone quote. What was the reason for price difference? No one knows, not even them. I asked.About a week later, a pre-inspection is scheduled, in which another person comes to the site and repeats the same measurements that the salesmen did. This made me suspicious. Why would they need to remeasure the spray foam volume again? Didn’t the salesmen already do this? Isn’t that how my quote was prepared? Two days later, installation day is here. It was then, and only then, that I realized how much I was being ripped off. The installers themselves, which are the only real pros here, immediately noticed that I would never get the 4” that I paid for, because my studs are only 3” deep. I cannot express the utter frustration it caused me to hear this. Nevertheless, they were there and did an amazing job at spraying everything, even behind most uncomfortable corner. They are they only employees that were honest with me, and actually did something.The salesmen got his commission the day I signed, then left and never called again. I paid my invoice in full during installation day, but not without first taking pictures of my studs just to record how much I was really being ripped off. It has been 3 weeks since the insulation was installed, and not a single person has emailed or called me to check if I am satisfied with the service. Based on my experience, these guys don’t care about customer satisfaction nor charging honestly or appropriately. They encourage pressuring sales tactics, locking costumers on price contracts, and then never even bother to follow up once they got their money. If that’s the type of interaction that you’re looking for, then these are the guys you need. For me, like I said, I am very satisfied with the quality and labor of the spray foam itself. Cannot say the same regarding pricing, communication, and costumer service.

2022-03-16We used this business for insulation of our home last year. . We didn’t notice a discernible difference and called back recently with our concerns. We were given an immediate date for an install team to address our issues. Ian and Gustavo found that there were several areas that were not insulated and several holes drilled into our mortar had not been filled in. They completed the work very efficiently, were very friendly and helpful. They explained all problem areas and addressed all needs. They made suggestions re: further improvements we could make. We were extremely happy with their work and appreciated their knowledge.

2022-02-15I was impressed by this company since the initial call for the estimate and the professionalism. The salesman Jason made the experience that much better as well. He educated us about the products they offer, he was detailed and information filled with ways to best attack our lack of insulation in certain areas of the home. His sales pitch was not pushy but rather fact based.

2022-03-18To start off, this spray foam insulation is absolutely amazing!! We noticed a huge difference immediately. We had them insulate the garage that is below our master bedroom. The bedroom is always freezing cold, we noticed a huge improvement right away. They also did the master bath. Again, a huge difference. They did the kitchen and same thing. Great product.. although day one the truck was broken and they couldnt get it to spray correctly so they spent all day messing with it and got about half done with the garage. Day two they show up with the same broken truck? Really? Anyway they messed with it all day and it didnt work at all. The workers sat in the truck for hours instead of masking other areas, pulling out insulation, any other work that could have been done.. the supervisor showed up about 1:00 and said the truck is broke, they will send it out to be repaired, they will put us back on the schedule and call us.. unfortunately I lost it.. no you will not put us on the schedule! You will get your other truck here TOMORROW!! and finish this or dont come back at all. He pulled strings and was able to get the truck the next day and promised us a huge refund. They finished the next day and gave us $300 off a $7200 bill? Umm ok whatever.When this stuff dries its rock solid. We had to scrape 1-2 inches of foam off every single wall and ceiling stud so the drywall will go on correctly. Total pain in the butt! I thought they would clean up. Nope! Also all the plugs in the kitchen and bathroom are completely covered and filled with foam. They got foam all over freshly painted walls all over the basement. I will definitely not use them for the pole barn. And never recommend them to anyone. The salesmen are clueless, and one was just a typical fast talking slippery salesman. Go somewhere else. The product is great the service is absolutely awful!

2022-03-16We added foam insulation to our outer walls of our 2003 home on a very cold day last year. The house still felt very cold this winter. The 2 techs who came out today discovered that a number of areas were not insulated and numerous holes in the brick were not filled in. They completed all the work, were very pleasant, neat and efficient.

2022-02-28We had foam insulation installed in our home. We were satisfied with the insulation, however everything else was a mess. The crew left a mess, damaged our Dow Corning walls in the basement. They did come back out and power wash the front of the house, however that did not get the foam insulation off. Our door was damaged, our siding was damaged, our front porch stained. The basement walls in three areas are damaged. We have called several times and they are looking into it. We have given up. Again, the insulation is fine, the customer service is so painful it isnt worth it. I would look at other options.

2022-04-02Truck #8 (Brandon and Henry) were at my house fixing some blown in insulation issues. Though these issues did not occur because of them, they were nice enough to fix the previous issue. Brandon was very nice and polite; he was able to explain what was happening. Unfortunately, there is still cold air coming in an area which they fixed. This is the semiconductor time the company has been out, so I doubt it will get fixed and I’m stuck with a service that isn’t 100% up to par. If you do go with the company, I high recommend they do an a reading of the hot and cold areas. Never heard of it before, nor did anyone do this prior, but it was able to catch areas they missed.
