Comment: The house was as close to perfect as we could hope for. It isn’t a huge place but it is well laid out and even though there were 10 of us, including an incredibly active 3 year old, we were not tripping over one another. The backyard is private because of the hedges and raised deck, and the pool and hot tub were excellent and easy to use. The garage was full of games toys and equipment and there are two sets of washers and dryers. We travel as a group all over the US and Canada and we rent houses all the time. One thing that annoys me is when a 5 bedroom house that sleeps 10 only has 4 towels 3 cups and 1 roll of toilet paper! This house was the best provisioned place Ive ever seen! A full dozen bath towels and as many for the beach, plenty of dishes and top line pots and pans, a fully stocked spice rack and everything we needed to make the house seem like home. The outdoor fridge and BBQ made it even easier to stay outside around the pool and all the chairs and umbrellas were new and in great condition. The house is located a block from the 101 highway so access to anywhere was easy too. When we did have problems with the faucet in the kitchen the property managers sent a guy and whe he determined they needed a real plumber they showed up with parts the next day and were in and out in a hour. The communication was always polite, professional and timely and we felt like we could call anytime and get an immediate answer. We loved this house and plan to come back next year!

Comment: We spent two nights in Santa Barbara and had a wonderful time in a high-quality accommodation. Reservation, check-in, check-out and communication worked great. Still, I dont believe I will book again because of the administrative process related to the deposit which was 100% of the rental cost. The deposit was required 10 days before our two day stay and will not be refunded until up to 20 days after our stay - and by check, no less. Not typical of other vacation rentals, in my experience.

Comment: This was an absolutely perfect spot for two Minnesotans trying to escape winter. The location is perfection if you want to walk; my husband use the car for 2 months. There are a multitude of restaurants within walking distance, a large grocery store 3 blocks away and freeway access 5 blocks away. It is very quiet and peaceful; we didnt hear a peep from neighbors and they assured us they never heard our dog.The apartment has every supply Ive ever heard of and then some. There are casual dishes as well as special occasion china. Cleaning supplies, towels, linens, office supplies, closet hangers...it is all here. I especially appreciated the great iron and ironing board as I brought a number of sewing projects, which require an iron as much as a sewing machine (which I did bring). The only lack I can think of is a good reading area/reading light.The management was very communicative and prompt in handling issues. Comment: We enjoyed our February 2024 stay at Coastal Palm at West Beach.This townhouse is beautifully appointed and the location near the Marina is perfect for long walks with a dog.VROSB is attentive to any questions and we would stay at this location again as we and our dog loved the unit, the Brewhouse dog menu and music and Hendrys Beach.

Comment: This comfortable, thoughtfully furnished home was perfect for us to share with my brother and his wife. With two primary suites at opposite ends of the home, we each had privacy and also ample space to share indoors and outdoors. This single story home is ideal for my family member with limited mobility issues, and allowed her to remain part of every gathering whether we were indoors or out. The impression from the curb is deceiving; this is a large property with a private, park-like backyard, and includes a hot tub tucked away in the corner of the yard! Located near the Douglas Preserve and the beach for great outdoor walks, it is near to grocery shopping for essentials, and there are also several neighborhood restaurants close by. A convenient location, a comfortable home, and a supportive property management team standing by to ensure the best possible stay. We hope to return to La Maison Mesa next year!

Comment: As a property owner, I can attest that Vacations Rentals of Santa Barbara does an excellent job managing properties. It is very labor intensive to manage short term rentals and VRofSB is meticulous about making sure the properties are perfect for our clients. They perform TWO inspections before each new client stays, one after the last person moves out, then the maid comes in, then a second inspection is performed to ensure everything is absolutely perfect! They are well staffed and run a very professional business.

Comment: Weve been on the road for 2 months, driving (slowly) from Boston to California. Theres been a mix of hotels and Airbnbs. Every Airbnb has wound up being below our expectations; i.e., trick photography that doesnt show the dirt, how small the rooms were, the mouse droppings (!!), the bad neighborhood, you get the idea. This house was way above our expectations. The photos do not do it justice. It was immaculate, airy, roomy, and the backyard was beautiful. The best-stocked kitchen, ever, perfect for cooking Christmas dinner. (The immersion blender made my heart sing). Even the weather was perfect! (I know, you didnt arrange for that). Thanks for giving us faith in Airbnb - we will keep trying. But it will be tough to live up to this one.

Home was spotless and decorated comfortably with quality furnishings and art.We had a few things come up upon our arrival - water was not hot enough...needed some lightbulbs...nothing big. We called VRSB and the response was immediate and all issues solved in one day with text messaging. After that, all was smooth sailing. Comment: BEWARE,We had planned to rent an oceanfront property from this company for our 60th birthdays. I had asked about construction around the property and was assured that the home next door did have work being done but would not bother us. My reservation was cancelled 48 hours prior to check in because there was construction on OUR property deck. How did they not know this before? I asked about construction in area wasn’t given a heads up. We had already booked house sitters etc for our celebration trip. We were offered another property that was not oceanfront and more expensive. Very unprofessional.
