One of the most valuable part of about it is that the rent to individuals as young as 18 so if you are looking for a rental car but are under 25 this is your place. The business if family run so the its very personable and the service is excellent. Will continue to keep renting from and certainly recommend to anyone in the LA area.

Comment: Like others who have written reviews here I was caught out on my first ever trip to the USA when I didnt have a credit card with me to hire a car. Luckily I discovered Value Rental Car, and I was able to hire a car with my debit card no problem.Ali was so welcoming and helpful to me and my partner, he was fantastic at making us feel at home and getting set up with the car. His service was exceptional and we are so grateful. The best customer service we had on our trip, he was so kind. Comment: March 13 2024 my family and i flew to california from iowa and hD reservations . when we landed we got on a shuttle and ended up in the wrong. placeand were told it was already closing. so having no other options we were going to have to pay the same amount for 2 weeks but only 3 days. and then are card wouldnt go thru. during all this hassle ali calls and this is already after hours, checking to make sure everything was ok . we explained our situation and he quickly arrainged a ride to the value rental car in inglewood ca on century blvd. and again our card was not going thru. ali was very patient and understanding.it was after closing and he didnt seem rushy or anything. he did everything in his power to get to the bottom of the situation. ali didnt even get snappy when my 13 and 14 year old wouldnt stop fighting with each other. ali was friendly and cheerful and made a very stressful situation not so stressful. while having a conversation with my children as well. ali is a wonderful person. Whatever question we had ali had an answer and if he didnt know the answer, he didnt have a problem with helping find the answer. my husband left before me and i had to get an earlier flight home and ali was nothing but understanding, and does this guy ever stop smiling. i texted ali a few times and he responded quickly and politely.When i returned the car before my flight ali found us transportation to the airport which was a huge relief. After a pretty bad trip with my family, ali was attentive and a very good listener. i felt more comfortable with ali than i had with my own family. ali treated us like we were family, and we enjoyed that. we will definatly usr value rental car again especially if ali is around . we even kept him informed until we got home . Comment: I rented from this car place feb 10th . first car we had was basically a lemon.( dirty weed in the middle part ) so we called and they were excellent with swapping the car out HOWEVER . we got another car went into a store came out car would NOT START ( second car ) she then proceeds to tell us to ask a stranger for a jump or pop the hood and wiggle the battery 😂 .. so they finally come out 35 mins later and her husband fixes the car ( NO ACCOMMODATION NOTHING ) so ok we really needed a rental .. so we proceeded with the car my sister then pays for 3 extra days ! mind you when we dropped off both cars they were clean asl . she dropped it off on time on SATURDAY . about 7 days go by and still no $200 deposit back .. so i texted the lady she then tells me i’m only getting $85 back .. which is crazy so she tells me ( oh your sis dropped the car off on MONDAY ) that’s the first excuse yal . so then my sis calls she’s like can you run the cameras back of me dropping the car off monday ? we knew she was lien . the owner goes oh no i got my dates wrong blah blah then it goes to ( your being charged extra for the miles ) which is crazy bc when we dropped the car off the GUY working there said everything is fine cars are clean we didn’t go over any miles .. so the lady is arguing us down .. then it went to damaged fees ( yal the guy had us take pictures n videos of everything that was wrong w the car) the lady then proceeds to hang up in my face . then blocks me . so my sister texts her she then blocks her . i call today from a different #and she hangs up in my face 😂😂 saying she going to call the police for harassment 😂😂 it’s MY MONEY HOW IM HARASSING YOU . yes they are a ez rental place yes . and super fast i wanted to come back and rent again even w the car issues i was still going to support they business . bc they hella ez . but here we are almost 3 weeks later and i ain’t even got the $85 back?? she said ( it take 3/5 days ) it’s been 9 as of today smh i did get my lawyer involved bc this is a mess and for me to b out of $200 for NOTHING ??? is crazy . how u a business scamming for $110???? you could’ve GOT MORE BUSINESS FROM US😂😂😂

Ali picked me up at my hotel a stranger and in the two miles to the office we were old friends who hadn’t seen each other in awhile. Comment: Olly is the man. I called him a day before I was going to be in LA. When I got there no one was inside but he pulled up about 5minutes after I called. Very cool, informative, and the prices were great. The Nissan Camry we rented was comfortable for our 5 day stay even though this was April 2022 so gas was around $6 a gallon. Overall I had a great experience he assisted me every time I called him. He made it simple and easy, hes a great guy doing great business. Next time Im in LA, I will be back to Value rental.

The owner and front desk lady was so helpful and honest ! They have nice clean cars . They are so welcoming and friendly . They even called after we returned it to thank us for our business . Comment: Value Rental Car is great for college student interns coming in from around the country/world to work in LA over the summer.I searched far and wide for someone to rent to me, a 20-year-old, but no one was willing unless there were unreasonably fees and policies. But Value Rental Car made it clear, affordable, and convenient for someone like me, young, no credit card/credit, and on my fathers insurance. From what I could see, it was a small business compared to the major companies, but just as professional. Ali was my retailer and he was efficient and personable. He ran me through the process, inspected the car with me, and stuck to everything he said on the phone when I made the reservation. There were no hidden fees or policies. Everything can either be answered on their website or by a phone call.Pros: Allows month to month rental (youre charged once a month and theres no need to go up to the office to handle the transaction. Theyll call you the day before to remind you); Rents to 20 year olds; affordable young driver fee; good cars (for the price, you cant complain); allows you to use your personal insurance as long as it has full coverage (if youre on your parents insurance, that works too); allows debit card usage if you dont have a credit card; professional and clean environmentCons: There is a 100 mile radius limit of where the car is allowed to travel before you get charged extra (not a problem for me though)Oh, and theres also a cute dog they own!

Comment: Easy to work with for the last minute rental and the car was in really good shape. I was coming for Michigan, and my other plans fell though. Being under 25 can typically be a hassle when trying to find a car to rent, but they were really easy to work with and they made sure I was taken care of. One key thing to note, unlike some of the other major car brands, they have a limited range that they will set for your travel, but as long as youre not going on a far away trip you should be fine. After that range limit it is a quarter (25 cents) per mile I believe. They also will do roadside assistance if youre within a certain range of their store.

I’ve never had such an amazing and incredibly smooth experience with any other rental car company. It was a great price, with zero hassle. Comment: We will never use a cookie cutter car rental agency in LA. Value Rental Car Inglewood, CA is all you need. The prices are amazing and the service is even better. The vehicles are a little older than typical car rentals but they are in good condition. We were upgraded to a 4 Runner at no charge. They did not try to up sell us with frivolous charges. They even asked us if we needed an auxiliary cable and IPod connector that they gave us at no charge. When we returned the vehicle they even drove us to LAX instead of us calling Lyft and then refused to take any money. I have to say the couple who run Value Rental Car are good hearted decent people. We are coming back in September and even though they will not be open when we need to drop off the vehicle they are letting us do a drop key return. I would highly recommend them to anyone but especially to anyone on a budget and wants individual attention. I felt when we left we had made friends not just got great service.Kevin & Marie C.

Comment: Went to LA for a week and realized on the first day that I practically couldnt do anything without a car. Hurriedly looked up a few rental places nearby and this place had RAVE reviews. I thought it would be worth a call so I did and it was the BEST thing I did! I normally dont write reviews but wow this place was super friendly and answered all of my questions on phone, they came to pick me up at the hotel, registration was super quick, and all of the staff were just so nice that it felt like I was borrowing a car from an old friend. Comment: First off let me just say I am a person with bad credit so finding a rental place that would let me rent a car was tough. If you are a person with bad credit or no credit or simply just want to pay with cash or a debit card, this is the place to go. I am 23 years old, I am insured, i have my drivers license, and I have the funds, which was all I needed. They do not check your credit score. I tried hertz and thrifty and they were just horrible! I was thinking about just giving up until I emailed this place. They sent me a confirmation email saying someone would get back to me shortly. About an hour passed and I didnt hear anything so I called the place and Gabriella answered, I gave her my info and she said she would get back to me as soon as she found out what time another customer would be returning a car. Keep in mind this is a small business owned rental place so they so have few cars to choose from. I waited a while for her call and then she called me back and asked if I was interested and I said yes. All I needed was my drivers license, proof of insurance, and proof of residence. When I submitted the reservation I did select that my payment would be debit so I also took my debit card with me and they do place a $350 dollar hold on your card which they do mention at the time of signing the contract. I would say that they are professional and I would definitely recommend them to family/friends. I would also definitely choose them again for future reference. Gabriella was really nice and helpful and even gave me her personal cell number for anything that I needed or had any questions about. Great job value rental!

They gave me the lowest rate, and dropped half the price other companys charged me. Their customer service deserves like 100 stars!!! The staff is so nice and go over & beyond to keep their customers happy and welcomed. The rental process is so fast! No line or long wait, I was in and out within 15 minutes. And I got a great Totota Corolla, great on gas! And very clean! Sundays they are closed but let me drop the vehicle off with no problem.

DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
