Great experience getting my new phone. Jordan’s knowledge of what Verizon had to offer made my selections quick and easy. Glad that this newer store moved closer to our area. Thanks again Jordan and Verizon. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone needing a new phone.
I had stopped in as I was having trouble with my phone. Jordan helped me out and was very patient in doing so (it is a weird issue). I was there for probably an hour and observed (what else did I have to do while Jordan had my phone??) the other gal (Nancy) just as pleasant and personable with the incoming customers as Jordan was with me. Would def recommend their store and their customer service.
Not at all happy with service provided by Nancy. She gladly assisted ordering me a watch screen protector telling me that she would put it on for me. She broke the first one, ordered a replacement which she then told me she was scared to put on for me and that she had payed for the replacement with her own money. Since she was scared to do it I walked out of the store with a watch protector in hand rather than on my watch. Apple wont do it because it wasnt ordered from them. Another Verizon store would not do it b/c it came from an authorized dealer raher than a veirzon store. Will NOT be returning there for any future needs.
Went in Verizon to pick up the new iPhone 12 with the deal they were currently running. When I talked with Nancy about the deal she failed to tell me the activation fee and told me that I would get Apple Music for LIFE when really it was only one year. BIG DIFFERENCE!!! She was quick to make the sale and had her mask below her nose the whole time! Very poor customer service and had no knowledge at all. Disappointed that the store manager (Nancy) doesnt know what deals they have going. Won’t be back and hope a change in management is made.
I have been in and out of this store a few times recently while shopping for a new business plan. Not only is Rion very knowledgeable, but he’s also just a genuinely rad dude. He made the 3 hour process of opening a bunch of new business lines as enjoyable as possible. He also saved us a bunch of money, which is pretty rad too.
Store manager Nancy sold me an upgrade to an unlimited data plan when I went in to buy two new iphone 12s. Told me that with the upgrade I would receive a $550 trade in for my old phones. When I was billed for the new phones I got a $100 trade in allowance. Spoke to Nancy and she lied and said she never offered the $550 trade in. She told me my payments would be $179/month and they ended up being $260/month. I cannot get my old cellphones back, which I would have kept for my grandsons to play games on if not for the promised trade in of $550 and I am now stuck with a 5GB plan that increaesed my access charges by $30 per month. Very dissapointed. Plan to buy out my phone contract and change to consumers cellular. I have been with Verizon for 20 years and have never been lied to or cheated before.
I had a horrible time with this store. I went in to buy a phone and not only did they order the wrong phone the first time, I was also unaware that they had my SS locked to the phone as well so we couldn’t cancel it. I waited a week for my phone I wanted. To also add, I was told by someone online and in the store that I would receive a $200 promo for switching my phone number to Verizon. After I made a down payment on my phone, I was told I would not be receiving the $200, and “sorry Sierra”. I wasn’t brave enough to stand up for myself so I just accepted it. On top of that, they were working with two people at the same time, which was confusing. So, I don’t know any of my login information, and I called the store and they told me to call customer service, but I can’t sign in because I don’t know my account number. I felt very taken advantage of, worst experience I have had. I thought Verizon would be an amazing experience, but not I am not sure if I want to continue.
Purchased 2 new galaxy s20 phones, saleswoman installed screen protectors without disclosing any information about them other than they have a warranty and to register them. One of the protectors never stuck, slid around and is floating on top of the screen.The salesman that was working with us told us we would get a discount for the items we purchased in store today but after reviewing the receipt after being home wondering why it could have cost us so much for 2 phones that were setup on a payment plan we realized that we paid full price for everything we took home, this is also when we realized that the screen protectors were higher priced than either of us had ever expected and would have opted to get different ones elsewhere had we of known they were $59.99 a piece.I returned to the store to find out about getting the protector that they installed and floats around my screen replaced and was told they would replace it with a liquid screen protector as soon as they came in and took down my number. Two weeks have gone bye and I still have not heard anything so I decide to stop in again. The salesman that helped us purchase the phone looks up the account and informs me it is past their 14 day policy so the best he can do for me is sell me another $60 protector, to which I scoffed and said there is no way I am buying another protector that I had not installed. His reply was the only other option is to turn in the warranty and pay the S&H for the new protector.I will not be returning to this store for any reason, I will be going through Verizon corporate from now on and suggest everyone else to do the same.
DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE SET UP HERE!! They will charge you a $40 set up fee ON TOP OF the $40 activation fee that Verizon charges. Essentially I paid $80 per line for 4 lines - a total of $320 for activation. This is not a corporate store, so they charge extra for services that you would expect to receive at a store for free.I thought that Verizon had accidentally charged me twice for activation, but the rep told me that since these places are for-profit, that is how they make money - by charging an extra $40 for something a corporate Verizon store would have done for free. Even though this location looks like a genuine Verizon store, its just an authorized retailer so its free to charge any extra fees for service that you expect when you go to a cell company to get a new phone.The closest corporate location is on Wilson Ave. It is usually a little busy, but I am happy to wait a few minutes to save $40 PER LINE.
Horrible customer service on Christmas Eve! There was no one in the store and the reps were not only rude but downright awful. At one point i told Rion (representative) he didnt need to yell at me i was right in front of him! I would say they need some common courtesy on how to help a customer instead of telling them all the ways they cant, but i dont even think they have ever been taught manners! A smile or even some understanding would have went a long ways. Very rude and ungrateful. Verizon should be ashamed they are representing their company.
Arrive at 6:15 on a Wednesday night and they have 1 employee working with a customer. We wait until 7 pm! Were never greeted, another couple walks in and was there for 15 minutes and was never greeted. I currently work in customer service and this type of service would get me fired. Learn to be able pull yourself away and acknowledge you other guests. TERRIBLE. If only sprints service was better in our area.
They do an outstanding job. Nancy Gibbons is amazing and knows her stuff when it comes to cell phones, Vr gear, and accessories. She also does a great job fixing the stuff I break (I break a lot of stuff lol) and she never complains. We have 4 phones in our plan and she maintains them all. I strongly recommend Russell Cellular for all your cell phone related needs.
Worst customer service. Sell you a bag of goods and don’t disclose all of the charges associated. When I went to dispute them they said they could not help me because they are only an authorized dealer and not an actual Verizon retailer.Would rather go wait in line at a real Verizon store or just call into the 800#. Yes I/you may have to wait a bit longer but will not spend a lot of time on the back end correcting everything this store messed up on my account.
Lack of competence in salesperson. Was given wrong info and when I contacted the manager I was told, He just didnt know but it will be fine. Well now I am locked into unwanted payments on my phone that I just wanted to pay up front for. Will never go here to purchase a phone.
Got ripped off on 2 liquid screen protectors from Russell cellular. They are $49.99 a piece in store. Once went home and looked them up they are as low as $14.95 with free shipping. And after watching multiple YouTube videos I believe I wasted 100.00 and now need to buy new tempered glass. Buy online and not @ Russell cellular. Brick and motor stores can only exist when the are honest to the consumer.
I went into the store about a month ago and signed up for unlimited. Talked to Jessie and he said that my bill would go down by $30.00 but the following month it went up by $10.00 and they said that they could not do anything about that and would not stand by what there employee quoted me.

2022-09-09Regret bringing our business to Verizon was never told that a promotion would drop off after a. year and that our bill would go up over $100 a month. I called customer service they said I had to go back to the branch that I opened the account at which is the 84th street location in Byron Center I called the store and spoke to Ryan, he was extremely rude did not care to listen to what I had to say and hung up on me. I tried calling back he would not answer my call. Finally a lady answered and told me to call customer service. I can’t believe the dishonesty and deceitfulness a salesperson will go through just to get an account a business account at that. We were with T-Mobile for many years and never had any troubles I went to Verizon because I was told they had amazing customer service and because it was close to home and supposedly better rates worst customer service both over the phone and at store absolutely horrible. Once they have your business they do not care about you, your just another no one to them. They are extremely unprofessional and extremely rude. Worst customer service. All they care about it getting that sale after that dont ever bother calling or stopping by they wont care about any questions or issues.

2022-03-11My wife and I just got back from Florida! We had many things to do and one was to get my phone looked at because my screen saver and case were damaged! I walked in and Nancy was very helpful and within a few minutes I had a new screen saver and a new case was being mailed to my house!Thank you very much!!!

2022-02-24Horrible service and completely unprofessional. We ordered tablets from Verizon to be picked up here. We went yesterday to pick up the tablets and Dakota (employee) stated that there was a problem with the tablets and he needed to contact Verizon. Dakota wasnt able to get the problem solved through Verizon while we were there so he said to come back today. When arriving today, a female manager, skinny, dark hair and in her late 50s was working with Dakota. She stated that they SOLD and gave away the tablets and didnt have them anymore. Despite us already paying for the taxes and everything. This female in her 50s was unapologetic and rude.Verizon reached out to the store. Dakota answered the phone and completely lied saying that the tablets were for a corporate customer despite my fiance being there just yesterday and him working on the tablets to give to us. My fiance physically saw our tablets.

2021-06-24Best Verizon Store in the Area.Incredible Customer Service!!!Shout out to Jordan for being outstanding.I have been with Verizon for over 15 years.Without a doubt this location has been the best Verizon experience I have ever had.This has been my 3rd time coming to this store and always impressed with their level of expertise, friendliness, and professionalism.I have a shared family plan with 10 members, you can imagine the level of confusion and frustration involved. Their willingness to help goes above and beyond and is definitely appreciated.The best complement I can give is that I send my parents to this location and they live over 2 hours north.Thank you for putting the Customer back into Customer Service.

2021-12-01Made an appointment when I arrived the lady seemed to be with 2 customers. She asked if she could help I said my name and I had an appointment she saysok... For...?. Told her the appointment was set for shopping and she asked for my number to get started meanwhile these 2 people are sitting at her desk and Im standing by the entrance. She asks what phone I want and said I wasnt sure what I was looking for yet and wanted to know deals. I was basically thrown a few numbers and prices and told I should do my own research and come back while the 2 people just sat there as they were apart of the interaction? Never experienced this service with Verizon before. Very confused by the couple casually hanging out during the interaction, they clearly didnt work there.
