I hate this store they never help and never hav enough employees the guy that works there is also rude to customers and act like he know everything they wanted to do the same thing that verizon did over the phone

Clare Michigan Russell Verizon store has the most incredible lady ! Went in with no hope of having my photos and videos to transfer to my new phone due to my phone locked up. These photos and videos not only has my family but my youngest sons memories who died last year. I was devastated . Kim stayed with me till.she had got my memories back! I absolutely love this lady!! She went over and beyond !
They are so helpful I I screwed up my account when I had to exchange a phone for my husband. We stopped in on our way out of state and they made sure it was fixed before we left town. Becky is my favorite person there. We have be one friends since I have been going there. I walk in and she knows why I am there and how to help with whatever the problem may be.

The worker named Alicia was not wearing a mask and was not making others wear a mask. When was confronted about it had very bad attitude and kicked me out of the store. After that refused to help my 80-year-old mother with my daughter told her that she could not help her and we ended up going to Mount pleasant to the Verizon store there and got everything we needed.
Becky is knowledgeable on Verizon promotions, products and is amazing to work with. She is an excellent sales lady for Russell Cellular. I have and will continue to send friends and family to Becky/Russell Cellular.

Best customer service they answered all questions fixed all our problems we had with Bill issues and phone issues and even the missing ear buds that we did not receive at a previous store they break everything down for you to understand fully Allisha and becky are just wonderful down to earth people especially with their customer service!!! Of course I will be going back to deal with them for any questions concerns or another purchases we decide to make

The only person working here is super nice makes me feel at home and actually cares about her customers at the Clare mi location needs a raise and paid time off, she is the only one working here they have her working seven days a week and the people who are higher up Will hardly give her a day off and told me very differently than the truth the big managers a Verizon or a joke this lady that works here needs a raise something terrible

Today I went into the Clare, MI Verizon Russell Cellular and, I was greeted by and assisted by Casey. Casey went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting me, as I have very little vision. She was phenomenal!!! Thank You SO much Casey ~ you are the BEST 🤗
The ladies at Russell Cellular were fantastic!! They helped us save as much as we could and still get the lines we needed on our new business account. I really appreciated their hard work and input.
Came in sometime in December to buy my parents two new phones in addition to swapping their numbers and my brothers to my plan and upgrade all of our data plans. It took three hours but the lady who was working with us was nice. Overall waiting so long was an annoyance but livable, my issues came months later.The lady sold me two LG stylo 5s and I only bought them because she told me they were BOGO months later I find out they were only buy one get one half off, so she was wrong or lied to sell them. She also told me I could pay off all the phones at any time, no worries! So the other night I go to pay off my iphone and the two LG stylos that I got for my parents. I had to use Verizons automated service rep to do so. Apparently you actually cannot pay off your phone at any time because your promotional credit will be void. Russel Cellular didn’t tell me this and Verizon didn’t notify me until I went to pay off the second phone so I lost the half off price and had to pay full price for both phones.The lady at this place was nice but has no idea what she’s doing or simply didn’t care enough and just wanted to make a sale so I won’t ever come back.

On Thursday I made an appointment, Saturday 10:00 am. I wanted a little help with my plan, unlimited has a whole new meaning with Verizon. I walk in at 10:00 store is full and only one employee. More people arrive, I wait. People continue to arrive, some are now leaving, tired of waiting. I am informed that another employee will arrive at noon. Russells customer service is the same as Verizons terrible.
Becky helped me navigate my mess up on my phone. Alicia also jumped in to help with a down loaded picture mistake. This is why I stay with Verizon. I have in person hometown help when I need it. 😊

Time to get to know every customer which causes it to be a little slow but I feel like Im really somebody there. I dont feel like Im getting rushed out the door I feel like theyre taking their time getting to know me. Yeah something that they asked are a little bit ridiculous but the girls there were fantastic.

Worst place EVER!! They do nothing but lie to you, REPEATEDLY! Was told when we purchased 3 phones AND and Apple watch I would be receiving a $300 Mastercard, gift card. Well guess what NEVER happened!! Called a couple times about it was told it was on the way to give it time, even called corporate who had no record of it. In the meantime Merry (the store manager who sold us everything) was NEVER available to take my calls and never returned them either. Come to find out she had 30 days to register the gift card and NEVER did it so guess who was S.O.L....yup us!! Needless to say we have changed carriers. I will not deal with liars!! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!
Save time and money and go to another location! Store does not have the customer service of other Verizon stores. Sold a phone cover $64 that I couldnt use because of a screen saver they had just put on and then would not let me return it. Think they would have known! Of course, I didnt realize it, as I was busy talking to a rep on the phone for them, as they had no idea how to use the Samsung card they gave me for a promotion of a phone that we had purchased 2 wks prior. Talked to all three store staff. They seem to not be able to handle customer flow. From day one purchase, we were told one thing, and information was wrong. Just so dissatisfied with the service. Really upset with myself for trusting the Russell cellular name. If this is the new Verizon, will need to start shopping, as Verizon, is the name we have received great service with in the past!

Didnt have faith in Russell Cellular to start with... left the store feeling confident that the switch from Straight Talk to Verizon was done correctly and smoothly, only to find out that one of the numbers didnt get ported AT ALL and the other number didnt get done correctly... real nice, get employees that know what they are doing. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT BE BACK. YOU MAKE VERIZON LOOK BAD!!!!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.Terrible service. Terrible store. Terrible management. Terrible employees.I went in for a mobile hotspot because we have no other internet options.They sold me a Verizon Jetpack. Told me it would be $60 / month for 4 gigs of 4G, followed by unlimited 3G.Instead, they signed me up for a smartphone plan (I dont have a smartphone). Our Jetpack says we owe Verizon over $150 for last month.They also signed me up for INSURANCE - which is about an extra $10 for a device you can buy used for less than $70!!!Then they told me they couldnt fix ANY of their mistakes (wrong plan, insurance). So now Im stuck dealing with Verizon myself. Lots of time on hold.I might have to hire a lawyer.In summary:* Signed me up for wrong device* Signed me up for the wrong plan* Sold me insurance I didnt want* Wont fix their own mistakes !!!* Overcharged by over $100DO NOT SHOP HERE. ORDER YOUR STUFF ONLINE INSTEAD. CUT OUT RUSSELL CELLULAR. THEY WILL SCREW YOU.
Didnt have any phones that the online app said they had in stock, so I bought one at the family Dollar, then went back to Verizon store for a cell case, and screen cover Verizon didnt have either one for the Verizon phone I just bought down the block.. also the phone I was wanting costed $240.00 at Verizon store! I paid $76.00 for the same phone 2 doors down.
VERIZON is the WORST provider have been lied to by EVERY person an department associated with VERIZON!! I will tell EVERY person I see for the rest of my life how terrible they are an lie to you. There was another customer aka a Sunday school teacher just as upset! She was there to pay her bill an was paying with CASH so was charged $3 EXTRA because the retailer has to go make a bank deposit . . . REALLY??? AMERICA WAKE UP WE DO NOT LIVE IN A FREE COUNTRY ANYMORE!!!

Sunday I was in there to talk to a lady about a phone she was very nice and helpful....I went back in their on a Monday to get a phone we were waiting and my 3 year old had to use the bathroom we walked into the bathroom the lady stopped us and told us we couldnt use it because their were phones in their?? Is my 3 year old going to steal a phone and I didnt even knoww their was merchandise in their until she said something....Anyways my 3 year old had an accident because we couldnt use the bathroom....Very rude....And unprofessional....Also when we came in sunday the nice lady let my daughter use the bathroom....Jerks....

2022-02-09Kim is absolutely amazing. She made the whole process of getting new phones a breeze. Kim and Rebecca were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will not visit any other Verizon store except this one. I highly recommend the Clare location to anyone needing to visit a Verizon store. I will definitely be doing business with them again, and recommending this location to others. Thank you ladies!

2022-06-28I have always delt with Russell Cellular, but never again after my experience in the Clare store today. I have never been so disrespect by a customer service representative in all of my life. Absolutely uncalled for, and I will never step foot in this store again, which is a dang shame, because Ive always only delt with this store for Verizon for years with my business accounts.

2022-02-11They talked us into a phone promotion that we didn’t want. They messed up on the details and we found out that we were not eligible for the promotion that they talked us into. So we lost out on the buy one/get one promotion that we had going into the store and now we are paying full price for both new phones. This has been seriously the worst experience. As soon as our 2yr contract is up, we are switching carriers. Buyer beware! Make sure you are actually eligible for any promotions they are offering to you!

2022-07-04Im updating my review because my mother went back in to the Clare location to pay her bill for the first time since she was treated terribly by Kim. She had a wonderful experience paying her bill with Jeremy. Hopefully we continue to have positive experiences even though Kim is still there.
