Horrible experience! 2 months later and I can’t fix the issues with billing. Even corporate helpline keeps making promises, but nothing is fixed yet. I have wasted so much time. I switched over from AT&T and I wish I never did.Calling the store manager he’s always in meetings !!! and they keep promising to call me back after the meeting is over to resolve the issue he never return the calls.
After I pay my remaining balance Ill be dropping verizon entirely. Im currently over an hour in waiting for someone to swap an SD card. Employees are hanging out, I cant believe this is how Verizon runs their business, I came to this location because I thought it was the GOOD one. Its apparent theyre all just God awful.
Was being helped by rep who asked if we would mind if he checked out a quick purchase of some accessories for a lady and we said go ahead. 25 minutes later he was still with her and when I asked him to return to helping us and that she should wait her time like everyone else in the store he was rude and sarcastic and said she was not waiting so we left and will never set a foot in that store again
Been a Verizon customer for over 20 years. Stayed because of the customer service. Figured it was worth the extra monthly cost. This is the second and last time I will go here for my cellular needs. Two of my five family iPhones have been having issues with cellular connection. Which means my kids can’t call when they need help! My wife and daughter scheduled an appointment. After driving there no one would look at the phones or answer any questions about possible fixes. They were told “have you tried turning it on and off? If that doesn’t work we can sell you new phones.” Really?? That’s your only response?? You get two stars for what Verizon customer service used to be. Unfortunately it looks like I’m saying good bye to Verizon and upgrading my phones elsewhere.

Will not go back to this location. After purchasing two phones around $1200 I came in right at 7:00 and was told because transferring COULD take a hour and they close at 8:00 they couldnt help me and I had to come back. I was a retail manager for almost 10 years and this would have never happened at my stores.
Worked w Eric. This guy went way beyond and fixed our phone and got answers for a manufacturer issue that the Northville corp store or the 6 mile reseller store could not, or even tried to find out! The tech support line was great too for which he called and the others did not!
Went to Verizon today the one on Ford Road and Lily. Was able to pick up a case of screensaver the Pro Plus headphones a longer charging cord and a charging block and pad for the new Galaxy S21 Ultra. Everything was there. The staff work to find me everything I needed. I would highly recommend this store. The staff really cares about the customer. Thanks for looking Mike
My experience at this store has been the best customer service experience I’ve had with any service for a very longtime. The entire staff presented themselves professionally, knowledgeable and just pleasant. Kahari made me feel welcome and as though I have a friend I can bring any of my Verizon questions or issues. Kahari went above and beyond any expectations I could have hoped for upon entering this store and put a friendly face to the Verizon brand. The store was clean, well laid out and a team of Verizon representatives that will meet customers expectations without hesitation. This is and will be my Verizon. Thank you for a good experience.
I received exceptional customer service from Jeremy! He was knowledgable about their products and plans and he was also very efficient. All the staff working while I was in there were very friendly to all the customers shopping! I dread going to buy a new phone usually, but they made it a very pleasant experience.
It is second time I have same experience. Store manager was inside the store on her phone the whole time I waited out side for one hour. There were two customer in side the store and four employee. My turn came and they were judgmental, customer service representative not in mood to explain promotions they were running at the moment. They are going to send the promotion threw text massage link Verizon employee.I would advice going to privately owned store. This location is corporate owned. There is one front of lowes.
I had a really bad experience at another Verizon, and came here because my boyfriend had gone here and received excellent service. I had a much better experience here. The wait time was not long even though the store was very busy, I got exactly what I wanted and the sales associate was very helpful. So happy I came here! Will definitely be back.
Switched over from AT&T to Verizon last November. Got the new iPhone and watch. Habiba is wonderful. She was the one who helped me switch everything over from AT&T. My watch was not connecting properly from the get go. Come back in and Habiba got me going again. She’s really so patient and knowledgeable. Thanks so much!
I went in with low expectations due to bad reviews I read. I was pleasantly pleased when I was greeted at the door. I was assisted in buying two new phones and was told about a discount I was eligible for.I went a week before Christmas and despite being very busy got good service. The representative told me which phone cases she recommended and told me they sell them, but in no way pressured me to buy them.
Habiba was amazing! My Apple Watch was having the most difficult time connecting to cell service. I had called Verizons tech support in the 2 days prior to visiting the store with no luck. Habiba was so helpful and stuck with it until we were able to finally get the watch to work.
Bought an iPhone for my wife for Christmas yesterday at your store. The guy made sure to check the box that marked it as a gift and assured me that it would suppress notifications. An hour later my wife gets a text from Verizon asking her to finish her purchase of her new iPhone. Thanks for ruining the surprise.Update one week later: despite the owner’s half-hearted,cookie-cutter apology, my wife has received multiple notifications and emails prompting her to setup the new phone that was supposed to be a surprise. Verizon, you suck.
I went to Verizon in Canton to purchase a phone and line for my mom, Habiba was amazing representative she was very professional, knowledgeable, and very patient. She show us all the phones and help us to choose the right plan for my mom. We really appreciate her hard work to make sure that we were happy with our choice. I was greated at the door by a friendly and knowledgeable associate. The store is clean and bright and well stocked. They did not try to unnecessarily upsell me and actually pointed out a deal where I could get three accessories for the price of two. In all a 5 star experience.
I am very pleased with the switch I made from T Mobile to Verizon. Jwain made the process extremely painless he was extremely patient with us! Glad he was able to keep our businesses running smooth he was very knowledgeable and Tim in the business department was very helpful as well looking forward to working with them in the future.
The staff in this store very unprofessional. I had to go back three times for additional charges on my phone bill which they never mentioned or explained properly. They kept changing the explanation of the charges and they kept an old account open which screwed up my billing. My last visit the staff made me wait 15 minutes just to tell me they couldnt help me because I was missing one piece of information and I have been a customer for 15 years. This store sucks ass.go to the store on Michigan ave the staff are more knowledgeable and helpful.
Was there at 7:30 for the iPhone 6s launch, I was fourth in line. When they opened at 8 first we were told they absolutely had 6s Pluses. Then other employees were saying they had none. Thats fine, I understand its a launch and you dont always get everything, but they assured us theyd be on the 10:30 FedEx delivery. So they took our names, phone numbers, and phone details and said theyd call us when they came in. When I hadnt heard from then by 1:30 I called them and was told they didnt come in today, maybe tomorrow. I went back to the store work and explained I understand you dont have any now and youre not sure when theyre going to come in, but when they do theyll be set aside for the people that were there in the morning and took our information. The employee responded it was strict store policy that they dont set aside anything and there was no list of people that were there that morning and maybe I went to a different store. I KNOW WHAT STORE I WAS AT THIS MORNING! Theyll flat out lie to you to get you out of the store. I promptly went home and ordered my phone online. I wont have it in the timeline I wanted but at least I wont get lied to. Ill never step foot in another Verizon store, thanks for proving youre obsolete. Hopefully youre all unemployed in the next year.
After 8 years as a customer and never missing a payment I went in today because the customer service rep over the phone said I needed a new SIM card. Never in the 3 years that I’ve been married, nor on the earlier phone call, did anyone mention that I should update my last name on the account. Today I was sent away without a working phone and told there was 100% absolutely nothing they could do to fix my SIM card because my last names didn’t match. I explained that I had just been in the store. I explained that I have a 1yr old and being unable to call 911 wasn’t ok. I asked if they could call customer service, take my ssc number, ANYTHING!!! Instead I had a large man loudly in my face repeat “the name doesn’t match the account” over and over until I left screaming in fear and frustration. Contacted customer service after and was told there were actually several things they could do. I have never been so stonewalled and belittled by a company in my life. 0 stars would be appropriate.
I had an excellent experience with Habiba at this location at 41802 Ford road in Canton. I say this location because I had a horrible experience at the other Ford road location in Canton and would not recommend them. Habiba did not try to a sell high-end phone that I couldnt afford, gave me excellent customer service and was very personable.
Jamal and Tony at this location are great! Set up my original account with Tony when I switched from Sprint ~4-5 years ago and it was seamless to port over five (5) lines and add another. Since then, Jamal has been able to resolve any issue Ive had involving billing issues and items online chat had either messed up or not been able to do. I have learned my lesson that even though online chat with customer service seems convenient, it often ends up with me having to go into the store and resolve the issue with Jamal anyway, so I will just head there from now on. Nice that some businesses can still help customers face-to-face. Jamal is VERY accessible and responds to my calls and texts to efficiently help us with our phones and account.
Called them while in my car due to fact when I am in my car people can hear me but when not in car people can Not Hear me. If on speaker phone I sound a million miles away. Tech was putting phone back to factory settings and was going to call me back in half hour. It is now about 10 hours later and no call back and phone is Not fixed and now all messed up. Tried using the Verizon Tech since that was what the Tech On The Phone had me click on and They would not call me either. It Should have been noted on file who was helping me since we were no longer connected. I will need to go into a Verizon store to get it fixed but dont know who is opened since this pandemic Virus hit.
Dont come to this Verizon store if you want to be treated with respect. This store has gone majorly down hill in the 10+ years Ive been coming here. Was sent here tonight by Verizon/Asurion to confirm phone damage and was treated like absolute garbage by Glenita. She was so unhelpful, was rude, and was genuinely uninterested in helping a customer and made it known. Will never return to this location and will tell everyone I know not to come here.
Horrible experience. Ive been a Verizon customer for over 10 years but that will soon change. They use dishonest sales tactics at this store. When I complain to the store manager how the salesperson was dishonest and was trying to upsale me his response was She is one of my top sellers Let that sink in for a moment. Top seller. Dishonest. Up seller. Proceed with caution.
I dont like Verizon as a company, and Im not going to fault this store for how busy they were and the fact that I had to wait for 15 minutes before getting help. But once I got help, the agent was extremely helpful, walked through many options to lower my bill, and was very courteous (much better than the Allen Park location).
I have gone to this Verizon store for years now (north side of ford rd, closer to ikea). I have never had a problem with anyone there. I have had some pretty silly issues come up since I am not tech savvy at all, I have always been treated with respect and if one person cant help they will find one who can. I like one other reviewer, believe this store is being confused with the one further down Ford rd. closer to Morton Taylor. I went to that store once since I was over that way, I walked out after waiting over 20 min while the employees were talking amongst themselves. Definitely go to the other store, they are amazing.
Purchased a screen saver in March 2019 was told that it had a lifetime warranty. Well today I took it out if my jacket pocket and it was peeling off! Went to the Verizon store where I purchased my phone and the screen. And after a long wait was advised that my warranty is not with Verizon but with a company by the name of zagg. And that I would have to contact them. Well after even more time I find that I have to register the screen saver/protector with zagg and order a replacement. Never heard of zagg and was not advised of the need to register. Horrible experience!!!
Was greeted at the door, had no problem exchanging a white phone that I ordered over the phone, for à black one. They activate my phone and transferred my data while I waited. The guy demonstrated the wrist watch that goes with the S4 and showed me how the back up battery chargers work. They started to get a little busy while I was waiting and there was always someone on the floor making sure everyone was getting signed in as they entered the building. Would return again if the need arises.
This place is garbage! We went in to get a new phone activated and add me as an account manger and they spent a half hour trying to sell us on some garbage smart device for my car I didnt want. Than finally they took another half hour to add me to the account, and the next pay cycle came around and I went to pay and I wasnt on the account, their staff has a complete lack of knowledge on the phone lines and didnt know anything other than iPhone, I would go else where if you can, intact I would use a different phone carrier because Verizon is garbage!
Let me just say be very careful of the staff here make sure they explain every little thing that they are doing because we had surprise charges on my daughters MasterCard and a two-year contract on a HUM device that we didnt want. They said it was a gift and that it was free 2 days later my daughter found out they charged her for it and thats when I researched deeper and found out they added a two-year contract with a $10 a month phone line fee. We had to end up going to the regional manager of Verizon before the matter was taking care of.
This place is great. NOTE that the review score (as of 10/16/2015) is lower because of a bunch of irrelevant reviews that are three to five years old. Also, this store gets some poor reviews because people mistake this store for the joke of a store that is a few blocks west of it. Just look at recent reviews that are not clearly mistaking one store for another, and the rating is easily 4+ stars.You may have to wait to see a rep -- thats because the reps are busy providing great customer service to someone else, and theyre going to do the same once they get to you. Its worth it IF you have to wait (maybe you wont; and if youre waiting, you can browse the store).Sales rep (Kevin) knew that my wife and I were not even looking to buy when we visited, we were just looking for information, and he still gave us at least 30 minutes of his time without rushing us or pushing us to make a purchase. He explained our different options for buying new phones and selecting a data plan; he looked for available deals and calculated both types of plan options to make sure we save as much money as possible. He did this for each of us. He then gave honest reviews about several different phones we were considering, giving his personal recommendations based on our own purposes, not just recommending the highest price phone like the retail stores will do.This is a corporate store, and it is well-run.GO TO THIS STORE. I am new to the area but have been to this specific store 2 times in the last week. The first time was to buy a device and have it activated. I had the customer service representative, JAMAL, and he was extremely helpful and went above and beyond more so than any employee has ever helped me at a Verizon store. I was in there for about 2 hours total, had issues with my account as well, and he made sure that they were completely resolved by having to phone corporate before I left the store. Then I had to go in for a separate issue for an accessory that I bought almost exactly a year ago but just under. SANTITO went and coordinated with a supervisor whom unfortunately I dont know the name of, but he as well went above and beyond to solve my problem. I have been a customer with Verizon for over 22 years total, although sometimes I feel its expensive and they dont have enough programs for long-term customers, they are at least killing it in the customer service department. Ive never had a problem with issues over the phone as well but that doesnt specifically addressed this store.
When I walked in I was told to wait a moment. I figured they were all busy, however, when I listened to the conversation at the desk they were trying to figure out their work schedules and what days they wanted to take off. One finally asked if I needed something...what else would I need? I told them I dropped my phone and it wasnt working. He looked up my account and said there was nothing they could do and that my only option was the pay $400 for a new phone. I went to the other store down the road, and they were much more helpful. They reminded me that I had a warranty on my phone and could get it replaced for about $100. AVOID the other store at all costs. They do not care about you, service, or helping you out. They only want to make a sale.
This place has been interesting to me. On some accounts Im right in and right out with great costumer service. On others its like an absolute nightmare and I should plan on being there for a very long time. I have actually been told when they accidentally added a line on to my account and I finally caught it 6 months later that it was my fault I didnt catch it earlier and they would only refund me 30 out of 240 dollars. I would strongly suggest be prepared for the worst but you may get the best lol.
I have gone to this store for a few years now and have always had great service. The greeters as well as those that I interacted w3ith to resolve the issues have been very pleasant. My issues have ranged from commonplace to intricate and the reps have given their all to resolve the problems. I have several Verizon stores around my house but choose to drive the extra miles through Cantons congested traffic to do business at this store.
Always very helpful when we come in. Only complaint is that they people seem to be very pushy to sell you things, which is why we only come in when its our last resort. The times we do come in, they are able to take care of us. We will continue to stop in if needed. The experience is better than getting help over the phone.
I was charged $300 for a phone that was $50. I was told my phone was covered by the warranty then charged $300 when the ear piece stopped working. The manager was so sure of herself and her staff that the have never made a mistake. That she inspects every device that comes into that store with an issue. Place is a joke and unprofessional.
I was very disappointed with the service at this store, as there was none. I Went in to turn off a phone and they said I needed to call the 800 number. Why would I call the 800 number if I’m standing right here?!? The store was not busy but it seemed like they were agitated because I was interrupting the quiet time. I actually got better customer service on the 800 number, so I’m glad I called. Very disappointed with the store. The 800 number was great!
Awful. Badly understaffed, long wait times. Staff that is there is really ignorant of any techniques for getting customers helped in a short period of time. Also, this is a really big space, and the displays are very sparse and it honestly looks like a pop-up thats going to close next week. Very little documentation exists on the floor, and the placement of phones on display seems to have no rhyme or reason. This store serves a very large customer base so I cant imagine why in the world its managers arent paying adequate attention to it.
I have problems with auto pay and with manually entering my card info in.I have chatted with 6 different people, called 3-4 times, and been into this location and the ford road location about this issue 6 times total and no one can fix my problem. i had gotten a new bank and their card and then went from an iphone se to an 8. When i did that auto pay worked for the 1st 2 months with is card and phone and on the 3rd just kicked me out for no reason. I then manually entered my card but it still wouldnt take. I have since found that if i try again a different day it May work. I now have to try 2-6 different days to get my card accepted. It accepts the card at random. I keep getting late fees because of this. They told me check on my banks end, bank cleared me, try talking to our financial team, i did twice, we can set up auto pay on our end for you! did 3 times, try using a different card and then try yours again, i did- used my fiancés card and it worked and then kicked me back out then kicked his card out after trying his again. so i cant try his again. They told me as my last option to get a new bank card or payment source all together but i only have the one card and im not getting a new card after trying another persons bank card with mine it shows that the card isnt the problem its something in your system that is broken. we both had plenty on the cards. The person i chatted with tried to run my card on their end and nothing, chatted the next morning with the same ammount of money on card and it took it no problem. I told the people i dnt mind having to manually pay each month but the payments better go through when i do it and not after so many tries and at random. I told them if they cant fix it this time im taking my money elsewhere cuz my money works everywhere i go they are the only problem i have with my card being accepted and they dont seem too concerned with me leaving. They should be cuz my fiance already dropped them months ago and keeps telling me to join him and im really considering it now!!
For the reviewer who said this is not a corp. Store...you are mistaken. There are 3 citizens stores in canton on Ford Rd so I think you confused them. However this store is great and the best service I have ever gotten is from one of their associated, Tom. No high pressure sales and completely honest. If you want someone who is going to be straight up and deliver on their promises, go see Tom at this Verizon store.
Manager refused to help me figure out how to get early upgrade eligibility because of multiple phone issues. Was condescending and stubborn. Asked him to call Verizon to find out what he could do and refused. Said it was up to his discretion and he would not because i was mad. Associate hit on me when originally being helped. Had to go online and call Verizon to fix issue he could have taken care of.
I stopped in the store to get a new phone that is on a business account. Was told by the sales person that the account holders phone and email was not listed in the system even though they themselves had a line on the account so they could not contact them. Went to another verizon store the next day and all the information was there when the sales person looked it up. So the sales person straight up lied to me and I wont ever be going back here.
First time in this store...NEVER AGAIN! Everyone was busy, so I wandered around waiting for someone to help me. Little did I know I needed to sign in to get a place in line. When I spoke up, they said Id be next, but I waited 15 minutes & when a team member was done with a customer, they disappeared. There was a blond woman who finished with her customer, then started helping someone else who JUST walked in the door! Then another woman came out of the back & started trying to help solve that girls problem, so the original blond woman picked up her OWN phone & clicked around! I finally just walked out. Im going to try up the street. If I still lived in Ann Arbor, Id still go to the Washtenaw store. THEY have GREAT service consistently!
The sales associate wanted to make a sale off of me and told me that the trade in value of my phone will cover the cost of the camera mod I got on my phone. He excluded the information about the trade in covering the taxes first. I had to pay full price- $300- for something I was told would be free. When calling the store they were ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and blamed us for their associates error. NEVER GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BILL TO BE DAMN NEAR 1000 DOLLARS.
The past 3 Sundays I have came to this location the doors have been closed at 530. I just dont understand it. It clearly says they close at 6 not 530 or 5. Clearly they dont want me money. And to top it off this time when I pulled up I watched a guy run into the back. How about you change your hours if its such a big deal to stay open to 6. I will never come to this location again.
Quite an awful store. The workers are rude and refuse to honor their previous commitments and the commitments from their corporate website. Additionally they will try to intimidate you into caving in. Please, save yourself the frustration and go to a different store.

2022-08-11I had to have help to close out my father’s account because he had passed away. This store helped me twice, and were very kind. But the second time Kay helped me figure out how to get my dad’s account refund. Verizon wanted to credit his account or send him a check. Obviously, this wasn’t going to work. We were on the phone to the corporate office for over am hour and she was patient with both me and the phone. Verizon needs a better way to cancel an account in the case of a death. And yes, I did have documents for everything. Kay did very well.

2022-04-30I was helped by Sean, he did an awesome job. But as I suspected I was sent home to transfer my data and very little of it transferred! And as I thought it was harder to do then what I was told. But my experience was one of my better at Verizon.

2022-08-19Went into upgrade our phones to Pixel 6as and get a new tablet. Was told my bill was going to be more than double with all the add ons they built into my phone bill. They gave me three quotes and each one was higher. Been with Verizon over twenty five years and I couldnt believe they would let me walk out with that extremely high payment. When I said I wanted to think about this their new store manager got agitated and pretty much asked us to leave. We then proceeded to go to T Mobile. We were greeted and treated to an unbelievable experience. We picked up two new Pixel 6a phones (free) and a new tablet. My new bill is less than what I was paying with Verizon originally. Plus we received Netflix and Paramount+ for one year free! Dont waste your time at this Verizon store .

2022-05-04Be careful. Our salesperson lied to us completely about what our bill would be. We also signed up based on an advertised deal of buy-one-get-one iPhone. Our bill continues to be $100 more than what was quoted and we continue to be charged full price for both phones. Mysteriously, our bill also didn’t go down when I paid my watch off. We were promised so many things and now we are told that oh well, it’s too bad your salesperson lied, we can’t help you. Save yourself a year of headaches and go elsewhere. I will be reporting them to every single place I can report them to.

2022-07-15We went to Verizon on July 5th. Sales person Nikki was the worst. She messed our acct up and was unable to recieve phone calls or text. Caused husband to be late for work. He went to corporate store and was told never go to these stores they over charge. Then got our first bill and its double what she promised. Its double, go somewhere else. If you have to go please avoid Nikki. We plan on getting a refund and filing a complaint with the BBB..

2022-03-26The manager Sean was very racist against white people. I waited patiently for 35 minutes when I was told I was next l. A black man walked in. Instead of taking his info and putting him in line the black manager simply waited on him. Fifteen minutes later a man called my name. I asked him if I was to white for Sean to take care of my needs. Sean heard me and kicked me out of his store. When I indicated that I have 30 plus phones in my company, he said he didnt care. I believe him. I will be talking to my corporate rep about this experience. I went to the Canton store and had no problems just great service.

2022-04-03Awful customer service. It took 3 trips up to the store and many phone calls just to take care of a credit they were supposed to put on our bill. And didn’t . The manager is super unhelpful. It was almost like she just didn’t care at all. There is Always atleast an hour wait everytime you need to stop in the store.

2022-03-12Have not a good experience at this location at multiple times and decided never go there, today March 11, 22 I went there. I need SIM card for my iPad and the black guy there very rude. I told him that I am loyal customer with Verizon from last 12 years.This location is horrible.

2022-06-11If you need service at Verizon (Ford Road - Canton), pack a lunch because you’ll be there for a while. Friendly people but long wait times. Bring food and Patience!!
