I was told I was going to get $800 and $1000 trade in value for my phons from Jeff Pratt at this store. When I went to turn in my phones I was only offered $400 for each phone and now I am locked into a contract for 30 months because of him. The Verizon corporate customer service was no help.
Tried to make appointment, app apparently not working, showed up to get a new phone last Saturday, store hours posted on website was wrong , store didnt open till 11am. Service was horrible, was immediately bullied when store open by overly aggressive employee, who made it very clear if you didnt have a appointment, you were not going to be helped today !!!! There were 6 customers waiting when store opened, obviously this was beyond thier capabilities. I thought this was a corporate location, whoever owns this is wasting their time and money, ordered new phone online, I will never return
Horrible customer service, iv been waiting over an hour just to get my phone activated. Its takes less then 5 minutes. You might think its my fault for not making an appointment. But another customer who made an appointment has been waiting over thirty minutes. And shes wants to purchase a new phone.
Lulu, Im sorry about the way you were treated at the store today. I was there and witnessed how rude the employee spoke to you I dont think any one should be treated this way specially when are seeking for help. My son and I will never go back to that store ever again.
This Verizon store location is by far the best I’ve been to. We were helped by a salesman named Kris. He went above and beyond with providing us the help we sought. He was extremely patient and provided us with excellent service. He was kind and answered all of our questions and concerns. He is highly recommended if you are looking for someone who goes above expectations.
Set an appointment for a replacement phone ahead of time, get there and was told I had to wait for a phone safe to unlock. This should of been done before I got there. All of my information was already in the system when I got there. So as I wait they take care of other customers as I sit and wait. I was told that it takes 10 minutes to unlock, waited longer than that as those other customers that came after me are now the priority. Unfortunately I did everything I was suppose to do to limit wait time and still had to wait. Someone should be looking at appointments ahead of time and insuring that those devices are available for the customer when they arrive. Simple right? Verizon has never been good at customer service though.
Horrible service waited over 20 minutes. Was told we were next in line. Waited another 30 minutes and still finally hadnt been helped. Finally walked out. Manager Cameron was very rude.Update:I decided to give Verizon another chance on black Friday. Big Mistake, I waited for an hour and a half, for a 5 minute conversation with an employee. Nothing they can do for 10+ year customer. A new line has to be connected to the account in order to take advantage of any deals. Their Black Friday deals were a joke. Employee didnt care that I was going to another carrier. Good Bye Verizon. Its too bad you dont care about keeping current long time customers
I have been a customer since the store opened. Always great experiences. Today was no different. Jeff found out I owned a business so he switched me to a business plan with 2 extra lines which I used 2 get 2 Hum modules and still paid $35 less per month than my original plan. Cameron, the store manager is a really friendly guy and has a well trained staff.
I visited this Verizon store this evening 12/9 at 6:35pm. I was greated outside the front doors by a large female who asked if I was there for a pick up. I told her I was there to inquire about service and she told me they were about to close. I asked what time they closed and she said 7PM and told me to go on line if I wanted to know about their service. I was blown away ! This woman was having no part of me coming in and spending any money !!! She should be given a name tag Goaltender as she was at the double front doors stopping anybody from coming through and stopping an additional sale that could have been over a thousand dollars. Id send her packing !
I absolutely loathe Verizon Wireless, not just this store, the entire company as a whole. This is not an issue of price or their coverage area, its purely an issue of service. Its impossible to reach an actual human being to help with phone issues. The phone number for the store connects you to an automated system thats basically designed to stall and waste your time, no help, no transfers to a person that can help. I would happily change my service, however, Verizon has a monopoly on coverage area and there is really no other choice for me. I hate this, its the worst support and service I have ever experienced. If you want to go with Verizon, plan to spend the rest of your life getting a phone setup. Terrible.
Not much of any deals there I noticed a kiosk for where you make your payment and the lady paying her bill was having problems the machine would not take her check and she did not look to happy with as ANYTHING to do with the store and her plan and they are about 20% higher on there prices than other carriers and dont offer any deals to talk about so mnnaa its not the ideal deal place for me, I was actually comparing plans and prices and they are last on a list for best deals for the customers it was clean I will give them that but no real deals here. Nice folks but their niceness wont save me money.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Worst place ever! I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon and there was a problem with my number porting over, so I went to this location twice and both times were greeted with a super rude guy (two different guys) who both refused to even let me explain anything before they handed me a piece of paper to call the support line and sent me in the way. Seriously, do they even help people in there or just sell people phones and tell them good luck! Worst customer service ever! Help yourself out and drive a few miles north to the Teinken and Rochester location! Those guys will ACTUALLY help you!
One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. It was funny to watch them talk amongst themselves as if they had gotten a crazy customer. The workers are absolutely ignorant and do not pay any attention to the customer. I walked in there for an appointment and they automatically tried to get me on the most expensive plan or secretly tried to trick me into buying a plan that I did not need. They also decided to not listen to what I needed. I was shocked by their rudeness. It was almost like the customers were a burden and all the employees wanted to do were to be left alone to play on their iPads like children. After being attacked by an employee with a 30 minute sales pitch, they once again made the customer feel as if they were doing a favor. Then, one employee had the audacity to list out our previous payments out loud in front of everyone to prove a point about how their “services do not change in price”. It was utterly hysterical to listen to them attack me. Absolutely incompetent workers with arrogant personalities. Near the end of my visit and attempting to charge my card with the most money possible, they had acted like children one again and could not wait for me to leave. They act as if working as a Verizon store makes them superior to you, yet if they would wake up/grow up and realize that they are not as important as they think they are. Thank you again for treating me like garbage and I will never recommend your store. THANK YOU!!!!
I believe they go in order of when you come in and I understand that. However, if your issue is quick and simple, then why not go in that order? This is a catch 22 because Ive visited for both quick and time consuming issues and it seems like the wait is forever and accessories are expensive!Clean store and friendly staff to say the least. Service is good unless Im deep in a basement. 4G service is great, just cant afford the unlimited data plan.
My son needed to upgrade his phone and worked with Brianna, who know a lot about the phone and other devices he was interested in. She helped him set everything up and answered every question he had as well as any I had regarding our account. The staff here is always friendly and very knowledgeable. This store offers a decent selection of phones in addition to a huge selection of accessories.
Went in to upgrade my phone with very mediocre service at best. Ive been to this location before with great service. Luckily I knew what I wanted and know a little bit about phones. I asked about transferring data to the new phone and trading in my old phone. He just told me to do it at home and mail in the old phone myself without offering to help at all in the store. He never even opened the box of the new phone or turned it before I left. I also dont appreciate the pushing of buying additional accessories.
I checked these reviews before I went in, so I was a little worried that I was going to be given a hard time about my warranty exchange but my experience was anything but.There were many employees available and helping other people. Somebody asked me if I needed help immediately and offered (and brought) me coffee. The guy working there checked out the microphone problem with my phone and send for a brand new one to be sent to me right away for my warranty exchange. Got everything I needed to get done accomplished quickly and with pleasant and polite staff. Thank you!
Worst Verizon store I have ever been to. I wouldnt even give the one star if I didnt have to for the rating. I waited for 15 minutes and wasnt even greeted. With 5 employees in the store, and 2 not with customers. All I needed was a compatible phone case for the $1000 phone I was buying. Verizon if your going to charge that much for phones at least have decent employees.
THE BEST coverage & outstanding service.They were super friendly & helpful. They waited on us immediately and they did not rush us.My dad is elderly and hearing impaired and I am a total Luddite, so I really appreciated their patience.Plus, my dad lives out in the sticks and he drives all over the place. He always has reliable service even in places where his friends get no reception.
I have stopped into this store 3 times over the past 2 weeks to try and upgrade 3 of my lines. Each time has been a disaster. 2 days ago I was checked-in, but the only person working there was the lady checking people in. There were at least a dozen people in front of me, and I never saw another representative there in the 45 minutes I waited. Today I go in and I am told there is a minimum of 40 minutes to wait, as there are only 2 representatives working. Seems like management really needs to straighten out this store.
Our contact, Krisdon, was very professional and thorough. He went above and beyond, assisting us in selecting the right phones and accessories, and making sure we got all the promotions and discounts that we were eligible for. We highly recommend this Verizon location and Krisdon!
Excellent customer service!! After being double charged on our phone bill and hours on the phone with customer service (who denied any refund), we went to speak to the store manager face to face. He was extremely helpful and proved everything that was said through customer service was a lie!
Upgraded my phone today. Brenda was extremely helpful with transferring all my important content to my new phone. She was very good at explaining the tremendous benefits of the HUM product. I havent had good experience with Verizon lately! I really thought of them as one of the best phone providers. My experience almost cost me to be homeless. My summer was budgeted so I can make it. I went to store to get insurance to pay for my phone that had a crack and I went to get it repaired. The person made feel like I was committing a crime, They talk me into getting a Motorola and it had a glitch it crash, They dodge me leaving store, I had get trac phone because depend phone for my job to call me for summer work. I had pay for phone to be refurbished and have them turn back my old phone they had to pay off $100.00. My summer budget was for rent, July, August September. I had my bill for Verizon budgeted, my groceries, gas. Now car insurance is coming up and trust me I am going to be without a phone, because had also buy plugs and none of them wil take them back. I am going have enough money for my September 1st rent and I am not going homeless because a phone company screwed my budget up! I dont like the anxiety and stress they have caused me. I can only speak about tech on phone. I hope Verizon makes me want to like them again. I been on time with my bill and early paying it. It not going to happen this month in August since my budget was mess up by people who work at Verizon who dont care about me living on the street,
Came to this location last month to upgrade my phone. The employee kept trying to sell me additional products and services when I simply wanted to get a new phone and leave. When I opened this months bill I noticed an extra charge on my line that I never agreed to (total mobile protection plan...employee just added it without telling me). A little upset about this considering my family has been a loyal customer with Verizon for well over 15 years and it seems as if they sneak in extra charges without explanation.
This store is a joke. I went last night to upgrade a phone. I met with Ryan, a short red head with a close cropped beard and short hair. He walked up with his Im going to screw you while making a big commission smile and was quite friendly. I explained that I knew exactly what I wanted, I explained my account and the upgrades I was due. I explained I didnt want any extras. He immediately copped an attitude, found me the phone, and went to cash me out. I explained I was on my way to work, and he stopped and talked to his friend about the TV service he wanted to get instead of cashing me out. He then told me I couldnt upgrade a line because it was from a standard phone to smart phone, and told me to shop online. I did shop online, and the Verizon rep online explained he gave me false information. I now have to wait for a phone by mail because Ryan is too lazy to help a customer since he wasnt prepared to deal with an informed customer that knew what they wanted. Do not go here, and if you do, definitely avoid this jackwagon.
I had the most pleasant time working with Sam (the store manager) while setting up a business phone for my company.There was a bunch of trial and errors, but we accomplished the end goal and I enjoyed working with him.As he was the store manager, I had no qualms with his employees interrupting us to gather the right intel (I can certainly relate, as a business owner myself). It was nice to see how confident and quick he was to inform and answer their questions. He certainly knew what he was doing and was doing a fine job at getting his staff well adversed.
I went in because the family member who was heading a shared plan deactivated my phone without warning. I had to wait a few minutes, but that was only because the reps were all with customers. The associate I spoke to was patient and didnt pressure me to purchase anything. He looked up the information I needed and did it with a smile, even though he knew I wasnt purchasing anything. Anything he couldnt answer, he was honest about it and asked another rep in the store. If I stick with Verizon, Im certainly going back to this location.
I am writing this review because I hope the store will improve; we go to this store because it is close, nothing more. On our most recent visit, the attitude of our sales person was very poor, the whole experience needs improvement. We walked in and signed three two year contracts - a commitment worth over $4000 and it was like we were bothering him. We elected not to take the iPhone 5 insurance. When we looked at the bill it was on there! So my husband politely asked them to remove it which turns out to be a rather lengthy process. I have not had a good experience yet at this location.
This place is awful. I have five lines, $300/month bill and they treat me like a second class citizen. I was instructed the process to follow for an insurance claim by a sales man in September, had an issue with an insurance claim after my numbers were switched between phones when a line was added. I went back for some help to be told I was not eligible for insurance coverage since I purchased a new phone. Then I ask for a manager and was refused to be passed on to the manager, this sales man had decided he was right. I left and called the insurance company directly, explained the incompetence of the Verizon employee and had a replacement phone within 24 hours. Go to any Verizon store besides this one I wont be returning even tho its the most convenient location for me geographically, lack of customer service destroys the location.
Entered in the store to find one other customer and 4 Verizon employees. The associate who was helping the customer asked for my name and then put me on the waiting list (I was the only one). The three other associates were chatting about personal items, not paying any attention. After 5-10 minutes, the trio asked me if I needed help! What a joke. My phone was on its last legs and would eventually be replaced under warranty. The associate that was helping me said, looks like someone needs a new screen protector... I thought, thats great, just get me a phone that works. He couldnt help me with my dying phone, but as I was ready to leave, he did ask me if he could go get me a new $12 screen protector. What a joke. Not going back.
Slow service after checked in. Not enough staff to take care of the customers. Verizon wireless has forgotten about the time customers have to wait for the next available worker to assist them. Maybe people should go with consumer cellular!!!!!!!! Very Disappointed in this business. Think that undercover boss show could help the CEO realize how lousy they have gotten with customer service. Maybe they dont care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This store has the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced at a Verizon Store. The Store manager is incompetent when it relates to Customer Service he is blatantly arrogant and unprofessional. My opinion if I was a Verizon District or Regional Manager would be to terminate everyone in this store and start fresh with more Customer Service oriented individuals.
Its a shame to see so many negative reviews for this location, as Ive never had such problems as described below. I work at a retailer across the street from here, so its extremely convenient to run across the street on a lunch break or what not. I have purchased 2 phones from here in the last 4 years, and occasionally stepped in to pay my bill or just ask questions. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes before someone was answering my questions. My first phone purchased here (a Droid 4) actually had a defective vibrate function, so I went in to exchange it a few days later and had a brand new phone 10 minutes later, with no hassle or fuss. Just recently, I upgraded again (to Droid Maxx) without any issues. In my brief times as a customer in the store, Ive heard far more belligerence and rude behavior from the other customers than any of the employees.
Let me start out my saying that we have been with Verizon wireless since 2002, and yes weve had our ups and downs but weve stayed with them ❤ I think customers that stay with Verizon after so many years should be able to get discounts (Thats my opinion!)I use to go to the here at the old store on Rochester rd in Rochester by Meijer since they open it. I always had Mike as my sales guys.Then they opened the new store next door, and he was there for awhile, but a couple days ago I went in there and ask for him found out that he was no longer with Verizon store. 😮 So I got me a new persons and shes awesome. Anyways. I love their new store, their new employees and my new Samsung galaxy S8+I still will drive from Auburn hills to Rochester for my service for my phones and help because I feel comfortable there even though they have changed all the employees of who was in the old store. But in this store they always seem to be more Knowledgeable then other stores Ive been too.. thanks for your help there 😉
In some ways this store gets a one star. No hurry to get to you I get it. At this point going to a phone store just take out 4 hours. You could buy a car in less time. It gets 5 stars for comfort after being with T-mobile with not even a seat this big spacious store has plenty of sitting room and lots to look at. 1 star for milking you on price of accessories just say no! Go home and buy on Amazon save yourself 50 or more dollars.
Its getting one star because zero isnt an option. We came here to replace a shattered screen protector and were told that they couldnt install it for us because we werent spending enough money. If we had been buying a new phone, they would have been able to do it. Keep in mind, my family has already purchased five new smartphones from them in the last few months, so its not like we arent paying customers. There was almost nobody else in the store, and replacing a screen protector takes no more than a few minutes. I called another verizon and told them the situation, and they were shocked that we had been treated with such horrible service, offering to do it for us since thats what verizon is SUPPOSED to do for their paying customers. We wont be shopping at this location again; terrible service.
Lousy experience. Had to wait to get help solving an issue on my phone then the person helping me was clueless as to how to solve the problem. I have to wait for a tech to call back. There were a lot of store people just walking back and forth doing nothing it looked like. Worst service I have ever had with Verizon
Very unprofessional and do not have clear instructions for customers. They say only 10 people are allowed then when people leave they still make you stand outside. I will never ever deal with this location again. I was here to open a new account and purchase some accessories.
Went in to buy a Galaxy S4 the day it came out, the sales guys would not stop trying to sell me accessories! I had clearly told him that I am only interested in getting the phone, but would not stop offering other things.Worst part: there is a $50 rebate on the phone, he said everything is all set and Ill be receiving a gift card in the mail and I received only my phone and box to take home. 2 months later, I called corporate and corporate called the store and they tell me I was suppose to mail in a form with my UPC to get the rebate. WOW. Terrible sales guy, probably was mad that I didnt buy any accessories from him and forgot to give me the rebate form.Never got a nice vibe from the people in this store and this experience matched that.Never visiting this store again.
I pretty much cant stand this place. Dont know why I have gone here for so long. Convenience I guess. I wont be going back now though. The last time I was here, I was assisted (if you want to call it that) by George... Ugh! The arrogance and condescension were palpable. Fortunately for him (and me) I just got out of there as expediently as possible. (When I get hot I tend to lose control and thats not cool). The reason for two stars instead of one is because I have actually had a couple decent visits to this place over the years...
What a rip off! Verizon offered a “$10 coupon” if you leave a review for their service. Then AFTER you leave it, it’s $10 off a $45 purchase.If they bait and switch me the first day I take their service, I’m scared as hell as to how they will treat me going forward!!!!!!!
Useless customer associates. Every time Ive been to this store over the last 10 years, which has been around 7 or 8 visits total I have been more aggravated leaving than I was coming in. They are little to no help, show no lack of interest in actually helping their customers. I do not at all recommended going here.

The people at Verizon had my iPhone connected within about 1 hour but the only problem was that one of the employees said that the total was 400 dollars and when the manager heard that he said to the employee let me add that up and the total only came up to be 230 dollars and so the employee tried to add more money on but it didnt work.

2022-05-09I recently went to this particular store to get a new cell phone. The sales representative I specifically dealt with (Lydia) was absolutely fantastic. She was very delightful to deal with and she made sure (even though she was very busy) to take the time to answer every question I had. She showed me all of the applicable phone options and helped me finally select the right phone for me. She also helped me save money on my monthly bill as well. She explained all pertinent information about the transaction so I would not have any surprises at all which I thought was helpful. Finally, she also answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) so my new phone could be fully operational within a short period of time. She is certainly the best sales Rep I have ever dealt with in my over 25 years of buying cell phones. I would highly recommend this particular store and sales rep to anyone I know. 2022-05-23Nice place, Great customer service. A bit busy, and not enough employees for the. weekend so there was a little wait, but the service we got after wards was awesome. We didnt get anything cause it was way too expensive for us at this time cause we are both retired. We were looking for really cheap deals. 😆😆😆 If you can afford Verizon our sons have service with them and are very happy. Go figure are kids make more than us... 😆😆😆 So glad they do. 😉😀

2022-08-12Zena and Rose. You are both the best. Got to the Verizon store 5 minutes before closing. My phone was broken and of course as a physician I needed a new phone now. Zena the manager and Rose not only stayed 45 minutes after closing to get me the best deal but joyfully did their job without complaint. I have been with Verizon since 1987 and I am here to stay.

2022-08-13Patrick who is the store manager is rude and can’t handle the work. We walked in and he didn’t tell us how long the wait will be. He took bunch of people ahead of us and then told us that you can go to another store and I told you it will take 30+ minutes. We just needed a SIM card on my existing line which would have taken 3-4 mins. To a point we felt that he is racist.

2022-05-22I made an online appointment on February 28th for help with my new phone setup and when I arrived was told they dont do that here. I was given a sheet that had phone numbers and she lighted the number to call. When I called and went through all the info I had to give the recording said you are not eligible and hung up. So no help from the store. My next visit was Saturday May 14th. I had received a gift from my niece and she was trying to set it up. To shorten the story she couldnt find the setting on my phone but could locate on hers. We went to the store for help and the man speaking to her wouldnt listen. He kept saying it was the router at my home. We questioned why her phone was able to make the connection with the router if it was the router. When asked if he knew how to fix the problem he said he was there to sell not help with devices. He then rudely told us to leave. I should have asked for a manager but after two rude visits and now embarrassed I chose to leave.

2022-04-06Unproductive. Make an appointment to upgrade my phone. The sales ladies showed me the phone and answered a couple of questions about the camera and battery. Outside of that she told me to visit Verizon website to compare the phone. What a waste of time on my part.What is her purpose for being there?Definitely, will not purchase my phone from there.

2022-04-05I came into the store asking for help. What had happend is I wanted my call log. I had told thr lady that my bill only went up to March 14th. So she said she could help which was anything but true. I gave her access to my account and all she did was tell me the same info I already knew. Lack any kind of professional n did not take the time to understand my problem. Go to any other verzion wirelss but this one dont waste your time

I had an issue with calls and the Rochester Rd store in Rochester Hills, Jasmine & Rose directed me to the right resources. Thank you. I appreciate the great customer service.

2021-12-03I visited this store today for new line & phone purchase. The store girl came with an attitude of not helping. She was giving all misinformation and when I countered her with Verizon website info, she has no clue of it. Looks like she is have her own rule for store purchase. In the end she told me go online and buy. It is better for store owner to either shut it or hire some helpful sales person.
