Always an Amazing Sunset in Veterans Park or Small Town atmosphere and stunning views of Lake Charlevoix
Great location on the lake. Farmers Market is always full of vendors and crowds of customers. Parking is limited on busy days.
We love it down here. Especially for the fourth of July. Couldnt pick a better spot to celebrate the U S of A! Freedom isnt Free. God bless the USA.
Always a great place to let the kids run. Large play area and plenty of grassy space to let the dogs run. Also nice to be able to see the memorial and pay respects to all the local veterans.
Nice park. Morel mushroom festival was taking place. Not as many vendors as years gone by but at least there was a festival!
Pretty and upkept well. Farmers market was a flea market. No food anywhere except restaurants and grocery stores.
Good grounds. Nice place for kids in playground area. Enjoy it during my lunch break. Farmer Market in summer months.
Its always a great place to bring kids, to the park mostly but when Mushroom Fest is in town its a great central spot.

Breathtaking! At night is the best. Its so quiet and peaceful ❤😍 surrounded by stores and restaurants and a big pier to fish off.

A very beautiful park
Wonderful wooden play area which includes a special needs swing! Shelter house with picnic tables and clean restrooms! Overall a great place for families!

The playground is fantastic for young toddlers through teens. Activities for every age! Its well maintained and parking is super easy/convenient.
Nice park with decent parking. Good place to start a walk after dinner or to sit and watch the boats as you eat your ice cream.

Nice park right on the water. Easy walk from downtown. Very nice pavilion with restrooms. Great playground for kids of all ages!
We were here for the car show, farmers market, and the kids like to play on the wooden playground. The only real complaint is that the restrooms in the pavilion are not that great. Im not sure if that was just the state they were in while we were there, or if they are always slightly less clean than you think they should be.

The park is beautiful and must see are the playground and they have Farmers market on Wednesday and Saturday during the growing season.
This is the spot you can BBQ hangout and just chill listen to the wave of Lake Charlevoix and watch all of the birds including American Bold Eagles On occasion

We attended a farmers market there and it was s good experience.
Its a good place to go to relax, think, and chill. And watch the waterfowl.
Had s lot of booths and a food tent with several resturant making mushroom specialty meals it all was very good!!!

Attended the Morel Mushroom Festival. Great times there, especially the food tent and the in town brewery.
Spectacular view on the water, large playground for kids is a bonus.

Nice big park thats used for events all summer long. Good sized public marina. Dogs are allowed on leash, but the sign says dogs arent allowed during events.

2022-06-14What a beautiful veterans memorial! Its so very well kept. Lovely flowers everywhere. Theres a giant wooden playground as well that your children could spend hours at. Theres a very clean restroom and pavilion. Plenty of benches to sit at and take in the view of the lake and sailboats. Wildlife to see, and plenty of parking. Definitely stop if you are in the area.

2021-04-17Great park with an awesome view! Unique, non-generic playground with interesting details throughout. Playground area has equipment for little and big kids, including a fenced off smaller area inside the bigger area for teeny ones!

2021-07-29Great park, in a great location! This can easily be enjoyed by children of all ages. Added bonus is the covered pavilion where you can enjoy some shade from the sun, picnic lunch, and the best part, there are open, clean public reatrooms!
