Mike and Kyle at this location are the hardest working guys Ive ever seen inside a gamestop. They go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are taken care of and all their needs and wants are met. I cant say enough good things about this place. I would personally go out of my way to go and see them. 10/10.
An aggressive not-completely-bald worker would not take no for an answer when me and my boyfriend told him we didnt want to register for a membership. He kept arguing with us about it despite us politely saying No, and continued to ask us the same question several times. It became quite uncomfortable when he asked for the fifth time. He began saying things like Why wont you register with us? Are you not gonna buy a game again or something for the whole year? We wont be coming back to this location. If youre reading this, what the heck was that man? That was a bit embarrassing on your end, how desperate are you?
Good collection of games and very helpful staff. Their toys collection is pretty good too. The prices you get for your old games us pretty low but it is easier than selling them on eBay. The staff are super helpful and are very knowledgeable. The prices are not always as low as it is online and thats a bummer
Employee was really aggressive about husband not preordering a game. Walked out once he started raising his voice. It was a really bizarre interaction.

They had what I wanted in stock despite being a popular item. In addition the manager was on the floor making suggestions to myself and other customers while his associates were handling fit traffic. I was also made aware of the deals I had available to me in addition to the already posted sales. I would say this was one of the most memorable Gamestop visits I have ever had. Lastly when I was being rung out I was given suggestions of other games to play just based on what I was buying that day. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.
The employee was very helpful and informative. He helped me pick up another great game for free. I wasnt aware of the coupon on my account and he set up a free game pickup at the store on Wayne since they werent in stock.
I was happy to know that they would not let my child purchase a game that needed adult permission and they made sure the parent came in to ok or not ok it. They always have good deals on games and accessories. The employess are very helpful and explain everything you need to know.Clean neat store
Fyi when you sell your old games here they literally pay like 0.25- 0.75c for games that sell for 20-60$ on eBay.. Your better off collecting pop cans. I spent a hr selling 50 games and they offered me 7.35 its unbelievable how little they pay 0.01% then turn around and markup 99% those 50 games were easily worth 750 retail
I bought a used PS4 recently with a game, ended up not working 4 days later. Disk stuck in the system. I went to the Wayne and Warren rd. location (where I got it from) and nobody seemed to have the tool to manually eject the disk. (a micro Phillips head screwdriver) I was told that I should go find a tool to eject the disk (for me, a trip to Home Depot) then come back. OR, go to this location (Who possibly had the tool, but also had a refurbished PS4 replacement in stock) I went here; Billy helped me out. Although they didnt have the proper tool either, he told me, This shouldnt be your problem, Ill talk to my boss about getting the proper tool. He got me a replacement game, a refurbished PS4 from Sony instead of GameStop, and the newer controller instead of the older one. For this, you get a 5 star review. Thank you Billy. I really appreciate your help. May you go far in life. You deserve a raise.
The sales associate Billy is very rude and racist. He doesnt know how to talk to people and pretty much no help at this store. Thats why I love the store on Wayne rd & Warren store. Billy needs more politeness and social skills.

Was being questioned on why I didnt pre order the game I picked up, the person ringing me up would not stop asking me about pre orders or if I wanted the warranty on my game. I know thats from their corporate but still equally annoying. I stopped at GameStop on my way home out of convenience but will not be doing that again.

I was treated like I was dumb when I returned an item.😡I bought the game for my son, and it turned out to be the wrong game. When I explained to the employee about it, and told him I wanted to return it for a refund, he treated me like I was the dumbest person in the world. The way he spoke to me was actually embarrassing.NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!🤨
Manager with the receding hairline is condescending and I dont need to be lectured for not pre ordering a game you have plenty of in stock. buddy I dont care if you didnt have it I was gonna drive somewhere else or buy it online, chill. youre managing a GameStop my dude its not that serious
The guy that helped us was awesome. He held an Xbox 360 for me totally awesome gave me great information about the game and what to do. Got it from my daughter that only wants to play one game on it lol
Wont be returning to this location. The store manager Michael was more focuse on trying to make a sale then actually providing the service i was there for. I simply went to pick up a pre-order and instead of getting that taken care he contiously tried to get me to look at sale they were having or to look at another game to preorder even after i repeatedly told him i wasnt interested. No concern about satisfying the customer what so ever.
Prices are like any other GameStop, although the staff saved me a decent amount of cash because they actually knew the deals and sales. Being able to apply that to my bill took it from a 100 dollar trip to a 40
Very helpful employee helped me decide on a list of items I wanted and gave me dates to come back and get the best deal. I was really blown away by their service, as my history with gamestop hasnt been good, but this is now one of my go-to stops.

The staff at this location was so helpful in every aspect. They were able to locate games that werent in their store and also helped us preorder a game. The store was very clean, inside and out.
They have always done their best to help me find games I will like. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they will try to cut you a deal if they can.
Horrible experience. Billy tried to sell me a pre-owned game. When I said I wanted a new one, he kept arguing with me that this was better. This was the 2nd time in 2 weeks we have had this experience. Horrible customer service. Guess what- if you wont sell me what I WANT, I will go somewhere else. Oh, and so insulting to try and package this in saying you are trying to do whats best for me.
Too pushy. Also they had a sign that said be back soon when I came there today and had to wait 10 minutes for someone to open the store. The salesperson was trying to tell me Im an idiot for wanting to buy spyro digitally because Ill never replay it. Ill never trade it in especially to gamestop so shut up and let me shop. After reading these reviews it sounds like Billy should be unemployed with game stop. Labor day 2018 stopped in to try and sell 12 or so Playstation 2 games that according to my MIL whom called a week ago and spoke to a female, said they accepted the games she had. First of all I had to ask if someone, Becky could help me. As soon as I said I had some games I wanted to sell and get an in store credit, I was met with an attitude. I told them that my MIL had called them last week and their response, well Billy now decided to interupt me and his co-worker and said, well it must have been the other Westland Gamestop. No it was this one per my MIL, he then proceeded to be rude and argue with me again interupting my now phone call with my MIL on speaker so they could hear. So after all this Billy guy just kept interupting me and at this point having already been made to feel like I must be some crack head trying to sell janky games, I had had enough so I said just pack them up after Becky said they dont accept any of the Playstation 2 games I had. Funny thing is they just assumed I was some low life, but I dont know many low lifes walking around with purses worth more than a month of their pay. Thanks for embarrassment in front of my kids as well. As a Power member whom buys my very spoiled 8 year old tons of games I may just quit coming to gamestop all together and I definitely will never be back to that location. In the end I dropped the games off to a donation center as it was never about money rather a fun thing my MIL thought to have us turn these games in for her grandson to get a newer game.
Great selection of new and used games here. The staff is very friendly and helpful picking out games. Also a nice selection of toy and video game related products.
Typical gamestop. Smells like B.O. nerd inside and the sales people are pushing you to preorder games that you know are gonna suck... Also have the occasional crackhead trying to trade in 60 unboxed dvds and douche little kids buying skylanders and stuffed Minecraft garbage.
I been treated pretty good here so far had to swap out a used ps4 i had bought the warranty from the store they gave me no trouble about it,just swap the system for a different one was in and out in no time
This place is an absolute rip off. The employees are absolutely annoying, they think they know everything when they know nothing. I dont know how many times Ive heard their employees talking out of their butts. Giving wrong information to customers who dont know that much i.e moms and dads.
These gamestops in my area are not clean. That and for being the brick and mortar store that specialises in gaming it sure is hell hard to find what you need if your not buying Call of Duty.
The two guys there around noon were great. I did a trade in and I felt for the first time in my many GameStop visits that I was treated with dignity and respect.
Black Up 3 release last week they had so many goodies and food to pass out to everyone (wasnt zombie face painting though 😉). Always great service too.. Love this Gamestop!!

I went their to sell games. I had 17 games and only got $.23 cents per game is the average I got for them. I didnt even get 11 bucks from all the games I sold.
The manager of this place usually looks out for me. I do understand that they need to push rewards cards and preorders and can be annoying at times. Cannot fault him for that.

2022-07-04I love this location! I have never had a bad experience at this store! There is an employee by the name of Josh that was great!! He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions I had about the games I was interested in!

2021-12-26My husband and I went in a few days before Christmas. The Manager ( I didnt catch his name) promptly asked if we needed any help. Which we did and he let us know they were out of what we needed but could order it for us. Awesome! We browsed and went to the counter where we met Josh. He gladly ordered the item we needed. As we were talking we got onto the subject of how hard it is to get me into a game as I like to mostly watch my husband play and I like story like games (kinda like Pokémon, but I have a PS4 unfortunately.) He instantly was able to suggest a few games I may enjoy. I picked up Persona Royal, I gotta say, Im about 5 hrs into the game and love it. So Id like to say thank you to Josh for the recommendation and all your help getting signed up for a membership and ordering our controller for us.I now know Morgana is not a cat. But is a cat (in the real world) 🤔 😂

2021-12-19Had a wonderful experience at the local Gamestop in Westland on Ford rd. Was able to trade in my game hardware in order to get my brother in law a PS5 bundle. The customer service was above and beyond, especially with quirky humor. Everyone around the block, come enjoy the best experiences at Gamestop!!!

2018-02-23The workers are nice, but they have messed up 2 of my preorders, (funko pop!s) one I never got and the other they ordered the wrong one that I had been waiting for SINCE NOVEMBER. All GS exclusives. I eventually got the right one, this month (February).
