After driving past Dr. Vu’s office for years, always thinking to myself, I should make an appointment, I finally did. I was suffering from vertigo, and chronic pain in my shoulders. With just one visit, the dizziness started to go away, and I woke up the next morning with about 80% less shoulder pain.I went back today, suffering from a pulled muscle in my neck. The pain had kept me up at night for over a week. Immediately I felt better! I may still have a few days for the little ache still there to be completely gone, but wow, he really knows his stuff!FYI, parking is down below on the street side of the building.Danielle, the receptionist is super accommodating, making the entire experience effortless. I started seeing Dr. Vu over a year ago, and Im so glad I did! I used to experience a lot of back pain, and get headaches nearly every day. Since being adjusted by Dr. Vu, my back feels so much better, and I rarely get headaches! Youd be amazed at how much better regular adjustments make you feel.Dr. Vu and his staff are always kind, courteous, and helpful. I recommend to anyone searching for a chiropractor!
I reviewed this business after I first started going there, and now a year later I am writing this review more as a follow up long term review than anything. First of all Dr. Vu and Jenny treat you more like family than they do a patient, which makes for a really nice atmosphere. I like most people used to think that the chiropractor wasnt a real doctor and was only to be used when you are in pain. Dr. Vu has not only changed my opinion in both of these matters but has made me a believer in the field in general. Not only do I have less pain now, but my whole quality of life has improved. Being disabled, this is such an important factor for me. I mean sure you can use it just for when you are in pain, but why not improve your overall quality of life? Unlike most doctors hes not about what pills to give you to fix your problems short term, he helps you long term and has many wonderful herbs and supplements to help you achieve these goals without filling your body with toxins! If you simply want to improve your quality of life, I highly highly recommend a visit to Dr. Vu and his staff, they can help you beyond what you currently think is possible. Trust me it happened to me :)
Dr.Vu is a great guy, and an amazing chiropractor! I have know him since high school. I started seeing him shortly after he started his practice because of an old injury that I have in my shoulder. Dr. Vu is very knowledgeable and he even recommended exercises to strengthen my shoulder. I recommend him to everyone I know. Seriously, my husband, in-laws, dad, aunts, uncles, friends, I have even bought my children to him!
Absolutely Fantastic!!I was introduced to Vu Family Chiropractic through a co-worker. He suggested to call Danelle for an appointment; when I arrived Nam actually sat down and talked with about my issues with my body and how it works. Very Professional as we talked about concerns Ive had with another Chiropractic Firm; he assured me that Ill be better that it will take some time to which the other Chiropractor wasnt providing for me.It has been 2 months now since I switched to Vu Family Chiropractic. I recently moved to Grand Rapids from the Fremont area, and was referred to Dr Vu by someone he went to school with. Like most people in life Im very hesitant upon change, think its the unknown that scares people... But Dr. Vu and his staff made the adjustment (no pun intended) very easy. Great atmosphere and easy to talk to people.. I for one will be going here for many years, Im proud to be a patient there as well as a friend. If you need a Chiropractor for any reason I HIGHLY recommend this establishment. :)
Best I’ve ever been to. Nam is great and very personable. His focus is to get you better and back on track. He doesn’t want to see you 3 times a week for the rest of your life like a lot of chiropractors. He sees you as much as you need to be seen until you’re back on track and maintaining and then sees you only as necessary. He will also recommend different stretches and exercises you can do to help yourself. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I have been seeing Dr. Vu regularly for over two years and have been regularly receiving medical massages at Vu chiropractic as well. Initially I went in because of a sharp pain behind my right shoulder blade. After an X ray I realized that my spine was leaning a bit one direction, causing me my constant back pain. With my regular visits my most recent X ray showed that my spine is completely straight which I give 100% credit to Dr. Vu. I have also struggled for years with headaches and now I rarely ever have one!Dr. Vu along with his caring staff always show genuine concern for any pain I am experiencing. They offer advice and help with that pain and have helped me to feel a ton better. I feel overall healthier and happier after seeing Dr. Vu and his staff! I will continue to go there and would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vu to anyone looking for physical wellness.
Nam is an excellent chiropractor! His use of the activator method is the perfect method for my back! He also does great manual adjustments as well. He’s been very thorough and dedicated to the quality of care he provides his patients. His office staff is friendly and amazing too
I was experiencing knee pain while running, and my primary care physician suggested that it might have been caused by an issue in my back, which lead to poor form while running. He recommended that I see a chiropractor to see if getting my back and spine adjusted would alleviate the knee pain being caused by having my back in poor alignment. I was recommended to Dr. Vu because of the services available at his facility and his solid track record for getting patients successful results.On my first visit, he took x-rays and quickly diagnosed my alignment issue. He showed me why my poor alignment was causing pain, and gave me several exercises and stretches to utilize on my next several appointments. I am now able to tell when a back issue is creeping up and as a preventative measure, I see Dr. Vu for an adjustment to ensure no further damage is done.
Ive been a patient since July 2017. I keep coming back because Dr. Vu and his staff are fantastic. They are very flexible with my schedule and their prices are very affordable. I have nothing but wonderful things to say over and over and over again about my many weekly visits. Dr. Vu is the best!!! I couldnt ask for better! Ive been going to Vu Family Chiropractic for about a year and a half now and know that there is a tremendous difference in my posture and overall well being. I used to have a sore neck, shoulders, and back from my everyday ergonomics at work. Dr. Vu helped me with different stretches and little workouts that I could do to help me correct some of the issues I was having. Hes even been able to squeeze me in last minute when I needed an adjustment. I highly recommend Vu Family Chiropractic. Dr. Vu has been treating myself, friends, and family for the last few years. He is very professional and genuinely cares about his patients. The thing I appreciate the most is that he helps you understand the causes of your problems as well as the treatment process. I was referred by a friend a few years ago. An amazing chiropractor! His main focus are his patients. Its hard to find someone like that. I had to suddenly move to the other side of the state for a job so Im not able to visit Vu anymore. I wish there was someone like him around Northville. Definitely make a visit with him. Youll feel great after the adjustment.
I went to see Nam at Vu Chiropractic when I was struggling with a nagging hip injury that I suffered from because of my marathon training. His expertise had me back to running again and feeling great! Been going to Vu Family Chiropractic for a little over a year and cant say enough about the care, service and staff. Very accommodating on scheduling appoints. VA recognized health care specialist. As a disabled veteran, Dr. Vu addresses all my ailments not just my back as most providers do.
I started seeing Dr. Vu a couple years ago for several issues I was having from years of playing sports all the way through college. He has been very effective at reducing the day to day aches and pains Ive had with my ankles, knees, shoulders, back and even my sinuses! He listens, is professional and eager to cater a plan to your specific needs.
Ive been going to Dr. Vus practice for several years now through a friends recommendation and really have enjoyed every visit. Im a multi-sport athlete, playing everything from ice hockey, wrestling, running, and now, dabbling into triathlons and have been injured in just about all of them. I came to Dr. Vus practice to see if he could help me improve my game by assessing all of the things that I have done to my body and seeing if there were any ways to correct some of these issues that Ive been having.On my first visit Dr. Vu took a look at my x-rays and determined that even though Ive endured a lot, playing all of these sports, I wasnt in as bad of shape as I previously thought. We went over some rehabilition techniques and agreed on a weekly regiment of adjustments, diet changes, core strenghting excersizes and kinesio tapings to improve my overall health.Earlier in the year, I was training for the local 25k Riverbank Run here in Grand Rapids and had very bad numbing in my left foot. I considered going to my primary first but my appointment would have been couple weeks later and I didnt want to wait that long. I brought it up to Dr. Vu during one of my visits and after about five weeks of adjustments the numbing went away.One of the things I really enjoy about going to Dr. Vus practice is that he doesnt try to push products and sell me things that arent necessary, which would probably be a very easy thing to do. His staff is very friendly and are always willing to work around my schedule. Many times thats very a difficult thing to do seeing as how Im a full time student and I also work part time. The office itself is very nice as well. There is a salt water fish tank to your left as you enter the office and a childrens play area to your right that will entertain the little ones as you wait.My overall experience with Vu Family Chiropractic has been great and I dont see any reason for that to change. Dr. Vu and staff are second to none and you will not be disappointed when choosing any of the services provided here. I have been to several Chiropractors in the area and in other places and this office tops them all. The staff is as friendly as they come, and the chiropractor himself is among the best Ive seen, and as a disabled veteran that is saying a lot. If you are going to see someone, go see them, you wont be sorry. Price, results, and service. Its all there. I wont go anywhere else.
Dr. Vu does an amazing job. I originally came to him with hip and lower back pain that i had been dealing with for several years. Dr. Vu gave me an x-ray and to find out my spine was kinked (out of alignment). With a few adjustments, the pain was gone!!!!!! Now, i take the whole family to get tune up adjustments and we all feel great :). Thanks Dr. Vu.
I started going to Vu because I liked that he was focused in sports chiropractic and said he would work on pregnant women (a lot of chiropractors wont). I found him to be surprisingly knowledgeable on pregnancy in general, what is happening (even at each week) and would work on specific spots on me accordingly. He will focus on whats troubling you, but changes up his approach at every visit. ie. at one visit hell work on making heartburn less painful (or go away!), opening up your hips for a better settling of baby for delivery, and shoulders (as thats where I hold my stress). Hes very intuitive and that can be so nice for someone whos pregnant as sometimes, all you know is that youre just hurting!Other highlights worth noting:- hes a straight talker- he will tell you if he cant quick fix you, but will support you on your journey back to feeling stronger and healthier. He didnt try to sell my husband (who had a shoulder injury a few years back) a magic bullet.- He doesnt try to sell you things.- Changes up his routine at every visit- Very easy to make an appointment same day or next day- Very helpful and supportive in working with other approaches and healthcare professionals- Gives you exercise/therapy recommendations based on your specific injury/body so that you can be more proactive on your road to healing (hes very empowering).- On top of this, like everyone has mentioned, hes professional and you can tell he cares about your own personal journey back towards having a functioning and pain free body.
My family has been going to Dr. Vu for over five years now. He is fantastic! He has been of tremendous help for my kids and their sport injuries, work related adjustments and more recently my son and his tics caused by Tourette’s syndrome. His staff is very friendly and in a pinch he can always work us in. We will never go anywhere else!
I couldnt believe how different I felt after seeing Dr. Vu just a couple of times. He has my back feeling so much better. I see him twice a month, and he can always tell what part of my back is giving me problems. He is a very personable man, always a smile on his face. Friendly receptionist as well!

Excellent. Two weeks ago I was rear ended and I hurt my neck. Several days later I felt an electric shock sensation in my fingers. I started working with Dr. Vu and now I am feeling much better. He is very thorough and answers any questions.

This place is top of the line best place i was ever referred to. I went there for my first time ever not being able to stand up straight with massive lower lumbar pain on my tailbone. I found Nam to be quite professional and knowledgeable. I had some neck and upper back pain from a pinched nerve and he was able to help.

2018-10-03Amazing!!Dr. Vu is incredible. I have been going for 7 months now and it has made a huge difference. I was going to a different chiropractor before and was happy with them, but felt a little pressured into things. Dr. Vu is so friendly and helpful, he is able to get me in last minute sometimes (one time I had a migraine and another time I slept funny). He is thorough and explains things with my process. I like that I am able to see the same Dr. every time I visit.

2019-05-08After having my son in November, I knew seeking chiropractic care was important for my well being, as well as my sons. I wanted a chiropractor that shared my same beliefs about the body being a temple and treating it as such. I began my search and quickly came to find out that Dr. Vus office has only outstanding reviews and was a great fit location wise. At my first appointment I remember feeling very comfortable and at peace upon arrival. Throughout the appointment we had many great conversations and I knew leaving that day that I had made a great choice. Dr. Vu took x-rays of my back the same day, giving me insight to how much I actually needed my spine to be worked on. I remember being told something along the lines of- I am not going to say you have scoliosis because this is something we can fix. My son is always so calm and happy when Dr. Vu is working on him. Dr. Vu has a great understanding about the importance making sure our spines are well kept as well as many other aspects of health. He opened my mind up to the importance our spine health has with other aspects of our health. I wish I wouldve went to Dr. Vus office throughout my pregnancy, but I feel thankful knowing he will be there for the next. Ive probably had around 10 appointments and Ive felt so much lower back pain relief and just more mobility overall. I can definitely say we have many great conversations about a full range of topics, and I love that because I feel as if I could go to him for advice on many different things. Hes always eager to learn and help and it shows.

2018-07-20I have had all positive experiences with Vu Family Chiropractic. Dr. Vu makes a point to remember the details of the previous visits—not just ailments but also the details shared about our lives. Everyone in the office makes you feel like a friend. Danielle takes care of the details with a smile! I get the sense that they value connecting with people and treating others as they’d want to be treated. I have many coworkers who have recommended Dr. Vu, and I’m happy they shared their experiences with me. I now have a trusted chiropractor to help me when I’m dealing with back and forearm pain from working at a desk.

Danielle, who works the front, couldnt be any more polite and respectful of your time, etc. Ive always left the office feeling better than when I first walked in. 2018-05-02Dr. Vu is extraordinary! For 6 years, he has provided care of my alignment and overall well-being. Due to my career, I sit and type most of the day and believed that wrist pain and neck tension were just some of the things with which I would have to deal. Dr. Vu has shown me that with regular maintenance, my life can be much more comfortable! He cares about his patients, listens to their ailments, and treats the patient as a whole. He has hired staff of the highest quality, who also care about your well-being. I refer everybody to Vu Family Chiropractic because theyre the best!

2018-10-05Dr. Vu is amazing! I used to have back pain every day and frequent headaches. After coming here, I have so much relief! I never have back pain anymore getting out of bed in the morning, and I rarely get headaches. Dr. Vu is passionate about what he does, and it clearly shows. He treats my kids as well, and they love being adjusted. I cannot recommend them enough!
