Their artistry behind the camera captured the essence of our event in a way that made us cry. With footage from three cameras chronicling around 80% of the days most memorable moments, we enjoyed the luxury of multiple angles – much like watching an NFL replay, but with a focus on capturing Great-Aunt Bettys spirited dance moves after her third Mojito. Walkrich Signature also provided detailed event planning, consulting, coordination, custom DJ services and an awesome live jazz trio. Comment: I reached out to Charlie for a projector and screen rental for my sisters wedding in San Diego, and things could not have gone more smoothly. Charlie was a pleasure to work with. He communicated well, responded to my questions in a timely manner, and worked with me and the wedding planner to ensure everything went smoothly. The technician who worked with us on the day of the wedding, Hugo, was also excellent. He was on time, easy to work with, and tested everything beforehand. Honestly, with as many moving parts as there were, I expected little things to go wrong here and there. But Charlie and his team really came through and everything worked flawlessly. If I was ever going to rent a projector or do another similar project, I would not hesitate to use Charlie again.

Comment: Charlie was absolutely amazing! Don’t be fooled by the inexpensive pricing… his work is not cheap, it’s quality! He was easy to work with, very responsive, and just a sweetheart! The highlight video was so great, I’ve watched it at least 20 times and it’s something I’ll have forever. We had guests that couldn’t make it and they said that his videos made them feel like they were there. The reception unedited video had me and my husband cracking up. The interviews were so funny! 10/10 recommend. Thanks Charlie and team ! :)

Comment: What a pleasure it was to work with Charlie Walkrich and Walkrich Signature Events! Initially, we hired Charlie to videotape my daughter’s wedding and reception at the Thursday Club in San Diego in April 2020. Well, like many other people’s events, due to COVID, that party had to be postponed twice before we were actually able to celebrate in July 2021. Charlie did a highlights video for us that included many of the significant moments of that celebration, and he provided us with all of the raw footage of the evening. We found Charlie to be very professional and easy to work with leading up to and on the day of the event. He is a thorough communicator and did what he said he would do. The video itself is wonderful … so much fun to watch and relive the experience. Charlie carefully captured all of the love, happiness and fun of the evening. It is what we hoped for and more … a treasured memento of a long-awaited and very joyful celebration! Comment: We just used Charlie Walkrich to video our December 27th wedding. Videography was a last minute decision on our part, but Charlie made the process very easy and stress-free. I contacted him through his companys website, and I received an email back from him the same day. Every communication going forward was answered within a few hours! I really appreciated the responsiveness. We had three cameras to capture all of the special moments of our wedding. Charlie made sure to ask me before he started if there was anything is particular that we wanted to capture, and he got everything that I asked for. We received the finished product a week after our wedding and were very happy!!!I would highly recommend Charlie and his team. Charlie is patient, kind, and very professional. If you want a video of your important day, but dont have thousands of dollars to spend, this is definitely the way to go.Thank you, Charlie!!

He had the full vision of how everything should be while giving me options and letting me decide on many of the aspects. His team easily handled a fairly complex audio visual setup like it was a super easy thing to do. Everything worked very well without a single problem. Comment: WORDS cannot describe how grateful I am to Charlie for everything he did for us on our wedding day!!! We hired his services as a videographer for our September 2017 wedding; we booked the most basic package and indicated that we already had a great photographer and literally only needed a camera to be set up on a tripod to record but didnt need anything fancy. Charlie communicated clearly, directly, and with so much detail and professionalism every time I emailed back and forth with him; he is a true businessman! A few days before the wedding, Charlie emailed us to inform us that he would be there personally, which was exciting! Not only was he there on time and prepared on our wedding day, but he also brought an extra assistant and extra camera with him in the name of fabulous customer service! From the moment we saw him there that day, we noticed that he was always smiling and was a warm person to be around; he also never stopped moving, making sure the cameras were always in the right area and were capturing the moments he wanted them to. Charlie was flexible and didnt panic when we were unable to answer questions on the day of during events or and knew what to do as we moved around our venue constantly. He pulled us aside momentarily to record some special moments in which we spoke directly into the camera which was really special. :) Even though we went 7 minutes over time, Charlie agreed to stay and did not charge us more because of his belief in GREAT customer service. Even though he insisted that we shouldnt worry about the 7 minutes, we chose to compensate him for this time and tip as much as we possibly could because he truly went over the top to provide us with a wonderful experience!We are no videographers, but we paid for the cheap package and we definitely got much more than what we paid for. Charlie and his assitant captured precious moments for us that went above and beyond just setting a camera up on a tripod and walking away. My husband and I just sat down today and watched all of the footage captured on one of our three cameras and the quality is pretty amazing! We could not have asked for more, especially for how incredibly inexpensive his services were!Thank you Charlie!! You are a 5-star vendor and were definitely one of the highlights of our wedding! We cant WAIT to watch the footage you and your assistant captured in the other two cameras :)

Comment: I hired Charlie as our DJ/MC for our wedding on 7/15/17 and we had Suzanne as our photographer. They were very great to work with Im so happy we choose them. Charlie responds very fast to my emails/ questions and he was very flexible to work with. Suzanne was awesome too, she had many photograph ideas and helped coordinate taking the pictures with everyone. They finished and sent our pictures before we got back from our honeymoon (our honeymoon was 2 weeks right after our wedding day). The pictures are beautiful and their speed and efficiency to finish everything really exceeded my expectations. They have the best prices too!

Comment: When COVID-19 scrambled our plans for a big wedding to be held late in the year, my wife and I decided to get married with only a month to plan. We came across Charlies website and asked for a proposal. He was quick to respond and provide enough detail to make us feel comfortable hiring him and we never looked back.The photographer, Suzanne, was professional and enjoyable to work with. We didnt notice her at all during the ceremony while getting a number of great angles. Charlie did the videography himself and also managed to take great video without being in anyones way.This was our first experience with event photography and we were a little apprehensive. Charlie was honest and forthright the entire time and were glad we chose him.

Comment: We are so happy we chose Charlie Walkrich and his company for our wedding in May 2017! Charlie was our DJ/MC, he provided the jazz trio for our cocktail hour and also the videographer. Charlie was reliable, responsive and dependable. He was very much detail oriented, and gave us suggestions when we requested them while we were creating the timeline for the evening. That timeline that he helped us create was an important part in making sure our wedding flowed beautifully from one function to the next while we just enjoyed the evening.The videos that Charlie created are absolutely amazing - it is so much fun to relive these beautiful moments. Comment: Beautiful videos we will cherish forever!We couldnt be happier with our decision to hire Charlie to do our wedding video! We had already invested a small fortune on our wedding and were looking for a reasonably priced videographer. When I found this business on Yelp, I thought his prices were too good to be true and I was definitely mistaken.Our Trailer video (4 min with our selected song), Ceremony and Reception videos were amazing! The best part was we also received all the unedited raw footage from all the cameras throughout the ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend adding on extra mounted cameras for the continuous raw footage.From the beginning, he clearly went through everything with us and asked us questions to ensure we captured what we wanted for our day. His responses were very prompt and accommodating.I didnt realize until after the wedding how happy we were that we chose to do video to capture our special day we spent a small fortune on. We couldnt stop watching the videos. I highly recommend his services!

Comment: We highly recommend Charlie Walkrich.We were very happy with Roman aka Charlie for our wedding videography! Our wedding took place on Jan 2014, at Tom Hams Lighthouse, San Diego. Initially we were only planning to get video for our ceremony, but are very happy that we got video for the entire event! From the very first video samples we noticed Romas attention to detail (we designed and produced our own wedding, so we would know all the little details), and very high quality throughout the video capture.After the wedding we received our first video samples, and we were like Wow! He got that on video, that looks great! We wouldnt even think about that!. Roman showed us our wedding from the point of view of other guests, and we re-lived our wedding from his point of view many times. In addition to all the standard wedding events such as ceremony, bouquet toss, cake cutting, toasts, etc we got to see many things that we wouldve never been able to see, because as bride and groom you only have so much time during the wedding. We are still re-living our wedding watching the videos.We also went with Romans company for the video editing. Needless to say, because there was so much great material to begin with, he did a great job on the more condensed versions as well.We enjoy watching our wedding videos to this day, and couldnt be happier with the quality, even in retrospect.Highly recommended!

Comment: Over the last 10 years, I have worked with Charlie and his team at multiple occasions including weddings, corporate events, bar-mitzvahs, quinceaneras, etc. Frankly speaking, Charlie is one of my favorite people to work with. Hes very friendly but organized and professional at the same time. His planning skills are top notch, as is his attitude and ability to solve problems. Speaking of possible problems, Charlie prepares for every event well in advance and he always has a backup plan for everything. If I had a choice, Id work with him and him only every day. Oh, and did I mention his live piano skills? Every time I see Charlie play, it makes me forget about everything else and start dreaming. Comment: Charlie was professional from start to finish. The equipment he selected for my daughters wedding ceremony in a rather windy part of Balboa Park worked flawlessly. Besides the wind, it was a difficult location without power and the ceremony included live instrumental and vocal performances. Everyone could hear perfectly. The speaker and subwoofer system that he set up for the reception in my backyard totally rocked at all volumes so we could back it down after midnight and keep the neighbors happy. It also did just what we needed for toasts, speeches and announcements. I definitely recommend getting the subwoofer to give you the bass that the dancers want without requiring earsplitting volume. Charlie or his assistant set everything up and took it down right on schedule, explained everything and just made it all very easy. With so many moving parts in a wedding, being able to rely on Charlie was a great relief.
