Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
I had a very positive experience with Fillip, the night manager (I hope his name was spelled correctly if you would please let me know). He was very knowledgeable about products in the store and helped me find what I was looking for. It was a very rewarding experience to have such a professional team member working there.
Service is horrible selection of food a terrible not to mention if you want to check every receipt hire cashiers not self checkout. Your on camera for one for 2 there is a person at the lines with a hand held checking every item. Every time I come to this walmart the service and things gets worse and worse would not even rate a 1 star
Was in electronics looking for a specific item have the item in my phone show the young man of course he didnt know what he was talking about and directing me to the wrong thing and left me good thing I had a mind to ask for someone else if you dont know what youre talkin about you shouldnt be working in my Tronics I suggest they put him in pets or maybe even Frozen Goods I have worked for Walmart in the past I dont like when people suggest things and dont know what theyre talkin about its very disheartening to the customer especially when youre a senior citizen please get some help in electronics
If I could give this place no stars I would. They have a kid working here who is barley trained in the self check out. There is me and 5 other people, who have been waiting for almost a half hour now for someone to come help all of us. Very poor training with there customer service associates. Not even the poor kids fault.
Worst Walmart to exist. Employees are picked from a kindergarten group, with 0 knowledge of what they are doing there and are pretty slow. They are NEVER helpful, and always seem to busy doing other stuff than their actual job. Laziest group of employees. Makes the whole experience a headache and a trip to the therapist after. I hate Walmart because of the Beckley rd Battle Creek Walmart. I definitely never recommend this store, or the employees to anyone, even someone I hate. -100 starsThis Walmart is the definition of trash
I gave it a 1 today because for the first time I had a bad experience. After waiting for like 30 mins in the C25 isle. And after my husband asking atleast 3 or 4 employees for help and not 1 was able to get us help from anyone else. I would of loved to get what I wanted but not 1 person could get someone with a key to the perfume cabinet. So disappointed.
First time using pick up here, was a bit delayed but it was expected after the snowfall that came through. In store the associates were kind and helpful when I asked for help finding an item, some things were out of stock but i expected it with the snow and other current delays that are happening. I looked for substitutes and found the things I needed.
Picked up a few basic items, employees were very kind and helpful. Store was crowded and rude customers however thats nothing the store itself can manage. Manager was very respectful. Price on fresh vegetables was very reasonable. I miss that Walmart no longer price matches :(Update: not thrilled. My husband and I went in this evening for a few groceries, there was milk on a dry goods shelf, open sprite can, garbage on the end shelves. If I would have had my camera there was moldy bread on the top shelf you could see from the next isle over, open coffee cups with coffee in them down the pop isle and open snacks throughout. There were two check outs open with cashiers the rest were self check out and they were all packed full.
While I appreciate the ease of using the pick up option, our order was delayed over an hour. Understanding that, yes, it is New Years Day, but each time we have used the Wal-Mart pick up option, they have been delayed later and later. This last time, over one hour waiting for the order to be picked (and that was arriving at the end mark of our scheduled pick up slot). My issue is not with the workers, whom I witnessed rushing out to the various vehicles, but the company itself. Why would you continue to tell customers that their orders will be ready within an hour window, if you are continuously unable to fill said orders? It iss becoming easier AND more time effective to just go pick the groceries myself.
First time in a year Ive been there. And its only gotten worse. Rude associates. If its not on the shelf I dont have it Well website says you do and pickup within 1 hour.Well we dont.Ok ordered it on the website, surprise it was in stock. Then returned it. She didnt want to work, just wanted to stand there goofing off and having fun.Went over to best buy and got one.New self checkout even worse. Order came to 9.36 put 10 in it wanted more money, I put 12 in before it was happy, then shot me out 2.64 in change.
Ive waited an hour about a dozen times for grocery pickup. Frustrating when I have little ones in the car screaming. I have received spoiled milk a few times and have had rotten produce too many times to count. Rotten oranges (the entire bag) rotten berries, apples (whole bags) and potatoes. Also the bottle return seems to always be closed for issues. I buy a lot of Walmart brand sparkling water that others stores will not return.
If youre going to make the checkout process almost completely automated (i.e., theres usually only one human cashier open), shouldnt you at least program the self checkout computers to be able to redeem bottle slips so your customers dont have to stand in line again at the service desk?
I shop here for EVERYTHING. Walmart even has cute tops at a very low price $3.50 for a cute t-shirt in all colors! Best deals are at Walmart!! YES Im still shopping at Walmart...the only place to go for deals!! U got to check out the deli... first place I head to!! When u check it out u will see what I mean!! Been shopping here for years and still are!! Thanks Walmart!!
Dont spend too much time wandering or in one area, the security people have nothing better to do than follow people around. Plus they suck at their job, theyre extremely obvious when trying to be inconspicuous. Prefer Meijer over Walmart everyday. My daughter and I spent an hour looking at different printers and researched on our phones before we made a decision and bought one. Harassed by security, 3 times, but yet couldnt find a single associate to help us. Every time I go here theres always some sort of drama. Found a 4 year old boy wandering the parking lot looking for his mom. Walked him in and went to the customer service counter, they made 4 calls before mom wandered up to get him. 10 minutes later I again saw him wandering around by himself. Some people shouldnt have kids.
It was the only place after 8 stores to find clear cups, the party tablecloths, and tableware that I needed for granddaughters birthday. It was more stocked than the Walmart in jonesville or coldwater.. did have long lines and I was forced to either stand in a long line or check myself out. I had bout 20 items so that was fine with me. I didnt have any interaction with staff , the store is cleaner than many I have been in over the last month or so.
Horrible as always. Only two of the self serve lanes would accept cash. Only two actual cashier-operated lanes open. The woman supervising the self serve lanes was rude and not helpful at all. This place is a joke. Meijer is much cleaner, the employees are polite and professional and their customers dont all shop in pajamas and slippers.
Truly an absolute nightmare of a store. I have done pick up 4 times and each time something has gone wrong. The wait is no less than 30 minutes, typically more. The one time I decided to go in the store it was gross. Most recently picked up an order after waiting 30 minutes to have no receipt. Worst walmart out there, I would rather spend 100 dollars more at any store than return here again. Truly the worst walmart customer service I have ever seen.
Put in a pick up order for 6 pm and the order wasn’t ready until 7:47 pm and they stop doing pickup orders at 8pm. They refused to give me the order that I paid for and told me that I had to come back tomorrow. Never received an apology, just a “sorry for you”. I know Battle Creek is a trash city but it wouldn’t be if the people here (that includes the people at Walmart) were nicer..
Yesterday I decided to go to Walmart in battle creek instead of meijer. The shopping experience itself wasnt bad, I checked out at over 200.00. At the end of check out I told the cashier I wanted 50.00 cash back, he prompted to to chose a selection which 50.00 wasnt a selection only 60.00, so I took the 60.00 but need certian bills to add to 50. He closed his drawer so said he couldnt.... so I went to constomer service to break the 20.00 he gave me into two tens. The costomer service person would not break my 20 either! After I just spent so much and supported walmart they cant even break a small bill?! Very unhappy. Meijer would have gladly done my request. If you want good service go to meijwr not walmart!
I actually usually always regret coming to this Walmart. Every single time Ive been to this location over the past... 8 years? There has NEVER been an employee in the electronics section to help customers. I usually only ever come this Walmart if I absolutely have no other choices.
I was highly disappointed with the service here and doubt very seriously if I would ever return! I waited over 20 minutes at the sporting goods counter, I then walked to the electronic department and asked the young man there to page someone for me which he did, I waited another 10-15 minutes and no one still came. I again walked back to the electronic department again and had the same young man page someone again, and once again no one showed up, I then used my own phone and called the store and got the customer service representative and asked her to please page someone and I also informed her that I was inside the store. Again I heard her page someone to the sporting goods department after another 5 minutes I asked the same young man to please get me the store manager, of course there where none in the store ( which I highly doubt) but a assistant manager did come and again walked back to the sporting goods department with me she then paged again and finally a associate showed up and swore that she had been there, which 3 other employees knew that this was false! After going through all of that she wasn’t even sure if they had the item that I wanted, so to cap off this misadventure I didn’t even get the one item that I came in for.
Every time I place a delivery order after delivery I find they stated they were out of at least 5-6 items... such as orange juice, bagels etc. With no substitutions. At least Meijer contacts you during the shop and communicates with you. When I asked an employee during a pick up, I was actually told it depends on who does the shop...😳 like they dont want to bother getting the items. Nice. Do better Walmart!
I dont go into the store much, but I have been super impressed with the grocery pickup. Th app is easy to use, there are plenty of pickup windows, and the delivery of groceries to my car is timely. This has been a huge time saver and its great to have a pickup option with the same prices as in-store.
The WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER! After ordering an electric moped online that was posted as available to pick up TODAY, I drove from Lansing to pickup the bike. Upon arrival I spoke with multiple people who indicated that it could take an additional 2 hours before they pick the order. I was introduced to Larry who was introduced as a manager for curbside pickup...he was confused and after several trips to the stock room told me the item was not here and they had been out of stock for 5 weeks. At that time I asked to speak to a store manager and things went from bad to worse....Nicholas was identified as a coach and was totally devoid of any communication skills or customer advocacy. when asked if any other store might have the bike he seemed irritated and said he had no way to know.. These two employees need customer service training if they are to continue interacting with the public.....your customers deserve better
Love the prices cant find alot of the things at a better price. However things I dont like is the lack of available lines the judgmental workers that obviously think that you must look fully disabled to be disabled. News flash disability comes in many shapes and sizes and all colors as well. Some are not seen and that doesnt mean they are not there.
Location is armed to teeth in security and considers all its shoppers thieves. Did self check out. Computer scanner froze so called attendant over. She entered code and computer accused me of being a thief. Exact wording was potential masked scan. I laughed in absolute disdain but put up with the one by one bag checking until the point became clear that the attendant couldnt see wrong. But that wasnt enough... she took a bag and decided a particular scan was wrong to which I had already entered in many other goods from that point without being called a thief. To this, I simply indicated the error and cancelled the entire order. Its shameful that Walmart which is in fact the biggest crooked cheats in the entire industry now considers their patrons the thieves.
Always a good selection at this location. One rare thing that sets this location apart from many other walmarts, is their staff. They excel in not just a friendly presence, but are honestly HELPFUL!!! And actually have some knowledge base in their departments. Not just backyard mechanic they hire, just to throw in the pharmacy, etc.
The clothing sections suck. Same as the seasonal section. Both are disorganized and disheveled. Never enough cashiers. Overall poorly kept. Clearance sections scattered throughout store. Grocery side is fairly decent though. Same with automotive and electronics sections.
Went for a tire patch it took 3 hours. Then the tech didn’t even fix it. The tire blew out on me and left me stranded for a tow truck for 2 hours. The tire associate greeted me with a “yo”. Then was complaining about only making $12.00. He left the counter for his 15 minute break after telling me my car was done. He just walked off and I had to wait another 15 minutes to just pay. The manager couldn’t of cared less. Worse Walmart!! I will never shop for anything here, i would rather pay more some place else
I went yesterday NO ONE had cleaned the bathrooms they had toilet paper and sanitary napkins all over the bathroom floor plus no one to get carts I had to walk up to the front 5 different times to try to get a cart before someone else who was disgusted as well decided just to leave and gave me their cart
I was at checkout. I scanned the items. I put them in bags. An worker stopped me and told me I could scan but not bag my items. She left to talk to another employee. After waiting to figure how this new way of juggling my way out ( because you cant bag your purchase). It was at that point I decided your store obviously didnt need nor want me there. Thanks for making me feel inferior. Signed, a disabled American Veteran.
When I went to pick up my grocery order I was told that it wasnt ready and they were finished with pick up orders for the day. I was told I would have to pick up my order the next day. Super inconvenient!! I have used this service for years, but I think Ill be using Meijer and shipt in the future.
There is no reason to have 15 lines to check out and only have 2 open. Need more workers and motivation. This location has a huge lack of customer service and care. Shiuodnt have to wait over 30 mins for someone to open the propane cage after I already paid for the exchange. Needs new or better management selections and operational procedures. 1 star is still to high for this location.
Went to Walmarts customer service counter. Just to cash a check. The clerk was short, rude and told me she didnt know if she could cash a check for me or not. Id never cashed a check there before. She acted as though I was bothering her. I was very uncomfortable even having to deal with her. This clerk should be doing any job but customer service!
I prefer Meijer, rarely go to Walmart except of they have something on sale that cant be beat. The store is clean and organized very well. But appears theyve succumbed to the anti gun nuts because I noticed there gun display was gone. The store is too busy for me so another reason I avoid it.
Many shelves are barren, could be cleaner. Parking lot needs a clean up badly.I purchased cat food, over charged, had to then go to customer service, then wait while they walked to check, was correct...over charged and 15 to 20 minutes later I got my refund...ugh...all while family waited in the car...ugh
Never, ever, willI wait in Walmart for assistance at the fabric counter again. More than a half hour wait and still no assistance. Finally measured the fabric myself and took it to a staffed checkout and then to customer assistance counter and still was unable to purchase the fabric. After more than an hour, I left without the fabric. I will never shop for ANYTHING again, at Wal-Mart.
It is the B.C. Wal-Mart. What you wanna do when you enter, is hit up the clearance aisle in between toys and electronics. That is where its happening, and the good stuff moves fast. Then you want to go and check the clearance bakery stuff in the back by the milk and eggs. Save room in yer freezer, puts some breads in there! If you arent sick, tell Evelyn in the clothing department she is awesome.Because she is.
Filip (a store manager) at the battle creek Walmart was very unprofessional. He caused unnecessary conflict because he refused to honor a price that was listed on their app that stated a in store only price. When we asked him why it was listed for that price and refused to sell the product he said rudely no matter what, I refuse to sell you this for that price. Even after viewing the product himself on Walmarts app for the exact location. We simply asked for a explanation and he walked away saying he wasnt dealing with this anymore. He was very disrespectful and caused a scene in front of other guests. I will be contacting Walmart district manager, as this type of behavior should not come from a manager who is supposed to be here for the guests.Ive shopped at this location for years and this is the first time something like this has happened and I will not be coming back.
Great pickup experience. Everything went smoothly and Ive been very impressed with walmarts appropriate & beneficial service provided during this pandemic. Weve been a curbside/pickup household for 9 months. Walmart has been the best of nearby grocery stores at providing this service.
I was able to get almost everything I went there for. They were a lot more stocked than they were a couple of weeks ago but were still low on quite a few items in the pharmacy/health/beauty departments. They had somebody sanitizing the carts when you came in and there was also hand sanitizer and paper towels available at the entry/exit area. All the employees I saw were wearing masks as were a majority of the customers except for 2 employees in the lawn/garden area who I spoke with and everyone seemed to be complying with the social distancing rules. I felt they were dealing with the virus threat as well as they could be and I felt comfortable shopping there.
Was in checkout line for over 20 minutes and there were still 6 customers with full carts and anger behind me. They had 8 full service registers closed and an entire self checkout area closed. People were just abandoning their carts where they stood after waiting for so long...worst Walmart in Michigan.
I went to purchase a TV that had on their shelve marked down to $111.00. I went to the electronic desk to acquire one but that check couldnt assist me and called another sales clerk over. That clerk told me there were no more in stock and that one cant be sold until a action in the Wal-Mart inventory system occurs. I would recommend Wal-Mart when an item in sitting on the shelves marked clearance and there are no more in stock that a notice in place over the clearence label stating Item out of stock/display model not for sale. Or better yet take it off the shelve, store it somewhere until it can be sold. I dont consider this overall good customer system. Just reaffirms why it best not to shop at Wal-Mart. Like dangling a carrot in front of a horse and not letting him eat it.
Everyone is super depressing, theres barely any communication with customer service and if there is theyre super rude. I get its hard working during the pandemic and being in customer service is hard, but dont take it out on those who may just want to brighten your day! Terrible experience today, my fiance and I felt like we left a funeral.
Bathrooms not always clean, hard to find a worker to answer your question. Just bear bones of employees working and so many people there most of the time.If you dont see it, its not there, if you keep this in mind. Things are stocked and have most essential items on shelves. Still a shortage on cleaning supplies and paper goods, but this is most places here in Battle Creek.
I had people who just was too busy talking with other people and not even doing there own job. Had to wait 15 minutes just to get 2 DVDs out of the casing that they put on them, they just plain out ignored us three times cause they where just not wanting to help out customers at all. I say just go somewhere else. Also people never enforced the whole mask policy people was just walking in with a mask then taking it off in the store and no one was stopping them. So would I recommend this place absolutely not, you can even go to the Meijer in Battle Creek and they even do a better job to the customers then walmart
Normally I have had no issues. Be mindful with their COVID response, they only have one entrance open and they have cut back their hours. With that, if you are caught in line still waiting to pay as they are closing, they may close down (if not they automatically shut down) all of the U-Scan stations. It took more time then expected to pay and get out. There was a big gathering in the front of the store of people waiting to pay and only a couple of lines open.
Great customer service! I needed a flip phone to use in the USA and the staff quickly helped me select one that fit my needs. They even set it up for me which was great because I had no way to call to activate it otherwise.I was thrilled with the friendly service and saw that the store was clean and well-stocked with many items anyone would need. Well-worth the stop in Battle Creek.
Lots of items, even though not a lot of selections. (Ex. fly swatters, flat breads) The isle with Sterilite containers is a mess, Anna some things arent priced. I downloaded a third party app to scan prices because the Walmart app was not helpful, not even showing one item on the website that I was standing right in front of. I would give less stars, but they have a lot of stuff.
Everytime i go here its either a mess or theres not enough people working. Only a few here have great customer service. Money center has been closed for awhile now..they never have the doors open on time. Theres never enough registers open. The only thing they got going for them is the prices. Everything else sucks.
I came in to pick up a few quick things along with a money order. They had 1 person working in the money center. There was a line in front of us of 9 people and the employee talked to every customer carrying on conversations other than just customer service. The line behind me built up as well while waiting. I called 3 times to contact someone to let them know and no answer all 3 times. If I could rate this visit zero stars I would.Updated: Only 2 regular lanes are open at just about amy time. So if youre using cash, be prepared to wait an hour to pay. Especially if youre in the speedy check out.
Battle creek walmart becareful is taxing food items. I was in there yesterday purchased easter candy there was taxes on the candy. I took my receipt to coustmer service young blonde with messed up make up said we cant do anything about the tax on food if it rings up.. i asked for a refund. By federal law you should know there is no taxes on food... battle walmart is a nasty store employees leaving there trash on the shevels very Unsanitary. This store is never stock up like most walmarts. The automotive area i had an oil change done on my car never change the oil filter oil all over underneath the engine caused issues.I was in there 2 weeks ago while young employees slacked off made the the elderly ones work harder they need more credit.
Guess inventory must be low and workers are behind because the costumes were not nearly as multi choice as usual. Many things are just gone shelves empty. Online thongs they say they have in store they really do not. Very unorganized. Many items not even marked with a price. Self scan was being very dumb not accepting debit card. Bad experience today.
I wait in line for 20 minutes in order to buy the 300$ of groceries i spent an hour gathering. Then after everything is bagged and paid for, I am stopped at the door so some old lady can force me to shuffle through my bags in order to find a receipt. (She had just watched me go through a line. My groceries were in bags that I wouldnt have had otherwise). Pretty cool to be treated like a criminal every time I try to get groceries.
This is the second time I have come within a two week period and the drinks I get were not stocked. There were lines like crazy to check out and very few lanes open that were not self-checkout. I also did not see the self-checkout being wiped down between guests as they should be, nor was sanitizer available near them.
We had to do self scan because they had no lanes ope6. We had $300.00 worth of groceries. Im disabled and had to scan everything while my husband bagged It was very very busy and people were getting very upset and leaving there carts and walking out. They usually have better management on to deal with this?.
Unfortunately Walmart is already questionable when you enter but the fact that people of Battle Creek that shop here are just plain rude and inconsiderate makes the whole experience worse. Sadly the other options are over priced Meijer or Target with very limited grocery options.
I did a bottle return and there were no signs directing to the return area. I called to ask where it was and the person who took my call did not have a pleasant tone and hung up abruptly. The bottle return would not except two items that were purchased at that store and when I went to the service desk I had to repeat my question 3 times and still had to speak with a manager because the person behind the service desk just kept repeating we cant except them here. The manager approached me with the same bad attitude as the service desk employee; however, at least the manager answered my question and explained the reason why the bottle return was not working. I then ask where I return my receipts to get my bottle refund and he sent me right back to the service desk employee who had been difficult to began with and nothing had changed. I promised my grandson part of the return money and she took the receipts with two fingers as though they were deseased. The only department employees at this location that have been respectful and helpful is in the online grocery pickup department.
Love prices but there were only three lanes open with live checkers. One lane was 20 or less. If you have a cart full dont go. Lines very long. They will not open more lanes. They want you to Scan and check out and bag everything yourself. Not good if you have food order . Cant imanage the wait times closer to Christmas. Waited 30 minutes yesterday.
As management, you really need to display a much more professional demeanor. Do NOT assume that everyone is trying to cause an issue or open your greeting with So, whats the problem, Chief? There was no problem, I was simply asking if the floor model was for sale and I am not your chief! The store nearly always looks like its been hit by a cyclone, there are NEVER enough lanes open (every time I have been in there, the ONLY lanes open are do-it-yourself) and the cashiers have been rude.On a positive note, the gentlemen back in electronics were helpful, friendly and prompt! (The only reason this is 3 stars and not 2) Good job guys!
I have been using the Walmart pickup service since the Covid-19 Pandemic has started, they have been very careful to wear masks and proper PPE, they always inform us of any out of stock items, and also have swapped for other brands at no cost. Ive also been able to get some great items on clearance at unbelievable prices, great place to shop or pickup.
This is a good Walmart there are bigger ones but they have pretty much everything you need. Sometimes getting checked out takes a while and there is never any checkers open this always self-checkout.the optical center there sells for $2 some lens cleaner that they will fill for life as long as you keep the container.there is a Subway in there and its pretty reasonable to go there I went there several times.but I would like to say to Walmart I like those 50 cent buys but bring back those you clear ones they were super delicious!
Went late at night - one door is shut for overnight. They had gluten free Easter candy. Waited in line for person in front of me to contest the price of his bedding then he needed a carry out to help with a new TV but cashier couldnt get a hold of anyone to help and cashier kept walking down to service counter.
Dont bother to call the Beckley Road Walmart. Phone rang 25 times after pressing 0 for an associate. All I wanted to know is whether the vision center was open. Called back and tried electronics thinking they could transfer me; 17 times and no answer. Real customer service.....NOT.
If you have a register that doesnt allow cash you need to post that where it is visible before you get to the front of the line. Ang obese worker started muttering profanities to herself because she had to take a security tag off an item. Absolute trash for employees
Its Walmart. Stuff is cheaper than anywhere else but its fraught with drama and inconsiderate co-shoppers with absolutely NO situational awareness. And now you have to ring up your own groceries unless you want to wait in the the ONE line with a cashier in it.Edited down to 1 star on 07/05/20:Now they claim they have a coin shortage and for some reason this forced me to have to take my things to the service desk to be rung up a second time. The self check wont allow you to apply your bottle slip to your order. They gave me cash back and then I handed it right back to them to pay for my things.I just wanted to get out of there with as little human interaction as possible. Its bad enough that they arent enforcing the mask policy and exposing everyone who is to a greater potential of exposure but now their policies are also forcing me to interact with more people than I am comfortable with while also inconvenience me not to mention making me angry.Im done. Im going to Meijer from now on.

2022-05-20I was in the Battle Creek location and had a great shopping experience up until the cash out. The lady working (Diane) was rude and snippy. Took her sweet time scanning and let us know it too. Sorry. Used to love this store. She isn’t a good addition to this team.

2022-03-18The only reason this place gets 2 stars is for their notoriously low prices. Everything else about them is like watching a classic ego trip. Im not the only one I personally know, former employees and family among others, often get cursed at and physically assaulted by employees. Lets continue here, because we all know Walmart to be one of the biggest conglomerate stores around, so they can easily pay these people off in court and continue with their ways, which anyone who knows whats been happening there for decades knows is exactly what does happen. I guess if you do go there avoid communication at all costs and to further extend this use self checkouts only to at least attempt to eliminate all communication. But even then, good luck not getting tackled on your way out while they accuse even sweet little old ladies of stealing by not scanning all their stuff. Really, this store is just plain barbaric. Go here and make sure to bring the aspirin, youll need it. Oh, I suppose one redeeming quality to good old Walmart is theyve long since offered online shopping. Adjacent to their notoriously low prices comes that if you really want those savings, do it all online, cut out any & all communication with any employee there.

2022-07-01Our last visit, we used self checkout with the belts and bought something with a sensor cage in it. The lady working the self checkouts blew us off and told us that we couldnt buy it there and had to go to the customer service desk or another place to buy it. My husband walked over to the very nice lady at the regular self checkouts and she took the sensor off the item for us. She informed us that the lady could infact have taken it off for us and we could have bought our item with the rest of our items. Today we went back and all of the employees were very nice and the greeter was very welcoming.

2022-02-15If you are looking for a contact buzz this is the store for you. Not the stores fault but oh my goodness every time I walk into this store the pot smell is so strong, I walk out with a headache. For this reason, I do not frequent this location. Self-checkout works great for my needs when I pop in for a few items but there are never enough registers open when you need an actual cashier. If the self-checkout is closed getting checked out is a nightmare.

2022-05-23Its sometimes difficult to find what you need in the store because of the way the store is organized. Many of the grocery items that I want arent sold at this location and I have to drive to Kalamazoo. The lack of price scanners means you have to try to find an employee with a price scanner, wait until you get to checkout, or have a smartphone with the Walmart app to check the price of an unmarked item. Often, when you need help, the only employees that you see are the online shoppers, and they cant do things like open locked cases.

2022-05-11My husband took our diesel heavy duty pickup into Walmart service center for an oil change. They put the wrong oil in, which was for a GAS engine then argued with my husband about the right oil. My husband was furious, as he should be. The manager asked him to leave and wouldnt put the right oil in. dont take your diesel to this Walmart for an oil change!! Beware!
