After having groceries delivered many times, I’ve realized that they probably purposely give the basically spoiled food to ppl they know they won’t see in person. Basically giving you the produce no one else will buy. It’s a waste of money to get fresh fruit or vegetables for delivery, they won’t be fresh. I’ve received rotten pineapples, bags of rotten oranges, rotten red bell peppers. The managers must be telling them to do this, it’s truly disgusting to treat ppl that way. The only other reason they could have is if Walmart just has all rotten spoiled nasty produce right now which is not what I see in the store but idk maybe it’s the trash in the back they are giving away. Save your money use Shipt through meijer.
Where do I begin. I was there to return some items and the wait was terrible. There was only one person to service the many people who were patiently waiting then when a young lady finally came to help, I asked if I could purchase my items I had, after she did my return she said no, Id have to get in another line. I was so upset. Dont think Ill be returning any time soon.
I can usually find everything Im looking for at this location. I find that the fast check out is better for me. They need to do a better job of training their employees on customer service and what it means to the consumer. I know because I work in retail. I treat customers how I want to be treated.
I went to Walmart pharmacy to get my booster shot. I had to wait for more than 2 hours though I had an appointment. Rita was the pharmacist there and was freaking slow to give shots to customers. They had absolutely no care for others. They will leave you to wait there for hours and no one cares to come and give the shot. I donot understand what takes them so long to prepare a simple shot when it’s all ready.
A lot of empty space in the meat department. Make sure you have plenty of time and patience as check out lanes are long or nonexsistant. Self checkout is your best bet, just hope you dont have a problem b/c it takes forever for someone to come fix the problem at self checkout.
I have never been a cashier. Its terrible that these stores would rather eliminate jobs then pay people what the are worth. The lines be ridiculously crazy. Elder people are slow, dont know what they are doing. The disabled are just as bad. Hell even the regular middle-aged people have problems. We the people should not have to pay them yet we do all the work. This should be a tax write off....No cashiers is a joke.
Not sure how the stores manager, or the district manager, dont see a problem with how this store looks. I get being short staffed, but this store almost always looks like a wind storm went through and trashed all the shelves. The employees are incredibly nice, and helpful. Really seems like the store could be nice.
I go to Walmart quite often, so I was a bit disappointed to find out this would be my new local Walmart once I moved from Novi. The shelves are stocked HORRIBLY. Everything is thrown everywhere, mixed in with everything, out of place, just a complete mess. I would HATE to be an employee on inventory day, but as a customer its offputting and makes it harder to find what I am looking for. (Including pics) The food section is stocked much better (thank God) but I really wish they (or managment) would put more effort into organizing everything. Or Corporate to take note and get someone in to fix this. I could only imagine it makes costs high if they are ordering things they already have, its just mixed in with everything else. Anyways, just wish this store was more organized as its the closest one to where I now live.
I was very irritated at the service area to send money through western union and it was only 1 person in front of me and 1 person being serviced with 1 very slow cashier. I literally stood in line for over 25 minutes, keeping in mind that when I walked up it was just the lady in line and man at the counter.
This is the worst Walmart i ever been to, they finally got a remodel and this is what they do with it, the management here must be pretty bad to have the office supply section looking like this and its not even the beginning of a new school year lol. This is just a small glimpse sadly of the terror that lies in this stores oganization and neatness. I really hope they step there game up.
If I didnt have to put a star at all I definitely would not rate this location one star. The fact that Walmart no longer for whatever reason has cashiers its ridiculous. Self-checked lines should only be for customers with a certain amount of items. Here I am thinking Im going to go grocery shopping today because I got off work early when not one line was open. I had to scan all my items and bag them up. Then when I needed assistance and I asked for help a elderly lady who works there came over and told me to make sure I dont press the wrong button so she wouldnt have to come back. You have about 10 to 15 workers five of which are grouped off into a huddle at the front door. Three that was outside on a smoke break. When I got to the store it was 9:00pm its definitely not a lot of people in this store but yet every customer had to go outside to retrieve buggies. I will not be spending anymore money at Walmart. Somehow they feel the need to not utilize their cashiers nor hire any. I like to see how this plan works out doing Christmas time but Im pretty sure everyone will have a very good Christmas thanks to Walmart!
Overcharged additional $80‘s for an item. Immediately went to customer service… was in line for about 40 minutes. Staff then redirected me back towards specific department where I was able to receive helped. Issue was fixed but I spent two hours in the store just related to staffing error.
Absolutely ridiculous. My wife and I stood at the jewelry counter for 45 minuets waiting for someone to come and help us. After 3 calls over the intercom for assistance at jewelry still no one came. BUT several employees over the course of the 45 minuets just stood around laughing and talking until they saw me taking pictures of them! 3 of these people are customer service managers! I work for Walmart and believe me corporate will hear about this...
I do like going there low prices and I can usually find what Im looking for but maybe cause of covid and not having the people to work its been the whole store that is have been messy, cluttered so searching for item takes longer and I end up picking to much or leaving I hope they get more people in to fix up areas
This location needs some major help with cashiers, stock, and management needs to be better. I go to this store every 2 weeks and it is beyond ridiculous on the lack of inventory this store has most if not all the time. Then when checking out the lines are way too long, and I dont understand why this store continues to operate this way and why someone from corporate or a district manager hasnt done anything to make this store better. One thing I do know is that if this was a location in New Hudson, Michigan, Troy, Michigan, or any other elite metro Detroit location they would not go for this. If the lines are not too long, then self-checkout either isnt working or is only taking credit not cash. Either make this store better for those who continue to shop here or close it because it doesnt make sense for customers to constantly be treated this way when we are coming in to spend our money.
Worst Walmart experience ever, waited 30 minutes for assistance at the sporting goods counter, they called for someone 3 times. Then went to purchase the item and it was not in the system, therefore could not sell to me. Why was it on the shelf? No management support, do not go to this Walmart unless frustration and a headache. The are understaffed and are not organized. One of the worst shopping experiences ever. They treat you like a burden to them.Thank God there are alternatives to Walmart and better places to shop.
Maaaan they had big bags of chips for .50☺️ Lines moved real fast and the lady working at the self checkout was phenomenal and sweet and nice and was a true blessing! I grabbed the wrong item and she kindly says, don’t worry, let me see if we have what you want then you can grab it and bring it to me and I’ll help you so you won’t have to wait in line again. That’s was precious of her!
The fellow in electronics dept has helped my son and i a few times with gaming items, very polite, helpful. Makes for a pleasant shopping experience. Dont see that much anymore, so we really appreciated his great service. Didnt get his name, but knows his stuff in that dept. Great selection of all.
Pretty convenient location if you need to run additional errands in one location. The staff is pretty friendly and speak whenever you enter or walk past them. The only real downside to this location, but also some other shopping center locations ... Is the parking lot. There is usually trash in the parking lot, but Im not blaming the staff.
Walmart is definitely falling off.. used to be my favorite store.. not enough price scanners! if youre not gonna stock items in front of a price sticker, at least bring back the price scanners. All 3 locations (including this one) that I frequent, just have stuff everywhere and seems unorganized. Last but not least, I have to check myself out which can be frustrating when you have a cart full of items... hire more cashiers!
My sister needed help in electronic. Someone was wait before her, so she told the person that worked there, were first. It was her turn, got what she wanted, but had to pay in electronics. The person helping her just left to take care of someone else. When and got someone else too ring her up. The person helping her, said he was first, but you have my sister stuff at the resister. And then laugh in her face. I will never shop her again.
This Walmart location was crowded with customers but thats expected on a Saturday. However I found most of the things I came to buy. So that was great, but one thing I can recommend is that the sales associates check the products on the shelf to make sure there in the right areas. I just assumed that if there was 10 products on the shelf in the same area by a certain price tag with the product name, that was the price. Once at the register, some products wrung up more expensive than expected. I was going to put them back but bought the items because I was ready to leave and I had already compared products and thought I was getting the best product for the best price listed on the shelf. But I actually didnt. I guess next time Ill have to inconvenience myself an find a price checker in the store so Ill know what everything costs before I get in line at the cash register.
GM should be ashamed of this store but clearly they dont care. Lucky if u find what u need here. Employees just come here to hangout most the time get high and kick it easy money. Meanwhile legit trip and slip hazards everywhere. No one is ever at the deli counter. What I dont understand is how at night they have like 20 stockers and u come in the morning and looks the same.
Even though when I ordered two big items and one did not come in today the girls that work there were very helpful to make very sure it wasnt there they spent over 35 minutes trying to make sure it was not there they were great to me and very kind they did not stop until we figured out they were on the other truck
I would give this walmart 10 stars if I were comparing it to the Walmart in Novi. The employees have nice personalities and are overall better than the Novi store. There is always more then one register open and they are fast where as in Novi you are literally in line waiting for an hour just to check out. Listen I have been going close to 10 miles out of my way to come here and I live closer to the Novi store. I would recommend to anyone to do your shopping here.
Terrible and horrible. Ordered online television on august arrived broken. Shipped back 40 days and new television lost at shipping facility.Well into December and went to Walmart Livonia Card only in self checkout....but doesnt accept gift cards.... Moved to cashier and she dropped the television and blames me 😒 gave away the Walmart gift card and never again the disrespect is b******* never again
If I could give zero stars I would. The store was disgusting and unorganized. There were also tons of workers in the store just playing around and being extremely disrespectful. One was running and ran into me and did not say excuse me. They stood around laughing and cussing and was not of any service to the customers. Only one line was open and self checkout didn’t take cash. Some of the workers were so lazy that instead of stocking things properly, they tossed items on top of shelves. A few of the girls even stood around talking about customers and screaming at each other across isles. It seemed as though most of the workers were high school friends so they did lots of playing around. Would not recommend at all. I’ll never go back.
The store is a mess, nothing in stock. Cashier was nice, greeter going out was nice, greater coming in ignored me. Out of all the departments I went through only sites was organized, great job shoes sales associates. Home area was a disaster, nail polish is empty and finding propel or flavored water, good luck. Tons of stock on the floor and no body in site putting it away. Walmart going down hill quickly
Always seems to be out of stock in everything. I dont know if its the days or the times I choose, but if you are going in for anything specific, check the website, then call. I see stockers always doing their jobs, so it must just be the heavy foot traffic.Product on the non grocery side always seems to have been gone through and feels almost ask if you are in a sort of discount thrift shop. Will all the pieces be in the box? Who knows!The greeters they have are always friendly and willing to assist if you need it.
Place is always understaffed with barely any lanes open. Checking out usually takes forever. Things are consistently out of stock (or at least not on the shelves). However, it is still pretty decent in quality and has friendlier people compared some of the other Walmarts in the area.
The 3rd time to this one, smh I Dont understand why people knock something down and Not pick up after themselves. Nothing is on the shelves correctly, I Dont understand why. Im overweight and cant stand seeing products on the floor. If I can bend down and pick stuff up No excuses everyone else can too. Hard finding employees, I understand why. Some customers are rude too. But, upside the Cashiers are pretty Quick and Very Nice and Helpful. The Dairy Department employees were courteous and helpful and Quick. Couldnt find a toaster. I Hope the next visit is better.
Dont do order pick up. Youll wait an hour and never see your order. Would give 0/5 stars if it was possible. You cant even call the store and get a hold of a manager. Nobody answers the phone. And if you go in to guest service to ask for it, theyll give you attitude and tell you to go back to the parking spot to wait for it. Then they still wont come. Not even joking.
Was at check out and the lady in checkout isle 4 was so rude with horrible customer service. She couldnt say one word to me couldnt count my change back. And couldnt bag the groceries right putting heavy items on chips and bread.. had groceries on the bottom of cart and acted like it was a big deal to grab he scanner to scan a bar code.. want 15/hr but to lazy to do the job at hand. The store is always a mess and there employees are always standing around on there phone or talking to each other. I definitely dont understand how someone providing customer service could be so rude. If I could Id give negative stars for this place.
Its always been bad but now the shelves look like theyve been robbed and ransacked. I walked out of two Wal-Marts today after seeing on their site that something was available that was not. I am not a Wal-Mart shopper and avoid it generally...i was reminded again why that is. Also, they closed their service desk at 330 this afternoon
This place just keeps getting worse. Have to wait in long lines to return boytles now. Walk in there is no hand cleaner nor cart cleaner. Every isle is a mess looks like people dont care for stocking. There is only 2 lines open on a Sunday in a town of 70k just horrable. Updated 6.1.22
It was crowded, the shoppers were rude, one was very rude. I was there to pick up a small order and the phone number they have u call when u arrive went straight to voice-mail. Luckily there were 2 employees outside further down from their curbside pickup area. Upon asking them, they were doing the curbside deliveries in a different area that the store had marked for them. Seemed to me this Walmart was very poorly managed & unorganized. Im glad its not my usual Walmart and Im glad I didnt have to go inside to shop or pick up my order.
Dirty,.disarray, cluttered asiles, prices. not marked, unhelpful associates. This store is terrible. I asked an associate for help. Wanted her to scan an item. Said she didnt have a scanner turned and walked away. I truly think you don:t know you have a store there because if you did you would making visits there and would fire the store manager which I think is the only way this store can survive. Wake up Walmart Upper Management!
What has happened to this store?? It is always a mess & they are out of so many items! From meats to vegetables to clothing & everything in between. Whoever is in charge of ordering/restocking is doing a Terrible job. As is whoever is supposed to straighten & organize merchandise. I go out of my way to go to other Walmart’s because this one is so bad. I hope they get better management & work on getting it together.
Someone said they got school uniforms here? Where in all the disarray and mess did you find uniforms? This place looks like a hurricane went through! FEMA needs to be called because this store has been hit! Clothes are not in the right places and piled up EVERYWHERE in piles, like a kids bedroom. I even tried looking for kids shoes and it was like and apocalypse happened. I do not blame the staff, I am just disappointed in the customers who just go in and apparently run through there with arms open and eyes closed. I could not find what I went all the way there for being store are no longer open 24hrs it was a very wasted trip.
This is one of the worst Walmarts Ive ever been to. The store is horrible and the customers are as bad as they get. The bathrooms look like they havent been cleaned in a while. The shelves and racks are a mess with everything all jumbled up and so disorganized that its impossible to find anything without having to dig through piles of stuff. Id give zero stars if I could. I dont recommend shopping at this location and wont be back. Id rather drive out of my way to a further location just to not have to deal with this one.
Never again. Meijer is 3 times the distance, but I have never not regretted choosing this store for a quick trip. Ive lived 5 minutes away for years- its constantly trashed, whole aisles empty, nothing is where its supposed to be and if you manage to find half of what youre looking for its a miracle but unless you enjoy guessing what everything costs you will be in for another lap around the store for a price check station. I went to 6 different price check stations- they werent even broken like usual- the scanners and displays were completely gone. No sanitizer or wipes for the carts, the checkouts are filthy and its obvious nobody is even pretending to follow COVID protocol. The entire hardware department is covered in graffiti, but after asking 5 different employees for assistance with purchasing a can I get, shrug, someone took the key home. I dont expect much from Walmart, but this is the trashest one Ive ever been to. Trust me: it is worth driving the extra 4 miles to go someplace decent.
This store...especially at the curtain section tends to be a mess. I understand theres probably a shortage in staff (and some of the staff when it comes to customer service 😬😐)but my goodness. I visit every now and then when I dont feel like or cant drive to another one.. even though its minutes from my home.
This store was simply in HORRIFIC CONDITION!!! My purpose for this visit was to purchase a insulated cup. Upon viewing each aisle walking past the end caps I couldnt identify the correct aisle. After walking each aisle I had come to realize that there were so many items jumbled up together and just not in its proper place. Ive never seen a Walmart in such disarray. I will not be returning.
Unorganized and always busy. The tills are closed at 9pm and the only option is self-checkout. I have seen our stores at least keep one cashier open for elderly and other none-cash/card users. Awful to alwayd see parents begging assistants to accept WIC at the self-service and babies crying whilst they are made to feel uncomfortable and refused service. We in line feel comfortable when that happens, i am sure there is a way that one cashier can remain open to avoid all that.
Im sorry Walmart but out of all the Walmarts that I have been to and in the worst of areas, this is BY FAR the WORST & DIRTIEST Walmart that I have ever been to!!! Clothing section was a disaster, clothes not even hung up, people were walking over them, I seen an employee taking new clothes from the back and piling them up somewhere and walked away, didnt return. Managers where walking around without a care in the world, while walking through disasters, the while store was trashed but the clothing section sent me through the roof! We left and drove to the next Walmart! 15 minute trip to Walmart turned into 2 hours because we had to go somewhere else!!
This is THE worst WalMart I have ever been to! Its dirty shelves are ALWAYS a mess, things are randomly thrown in different places, you almost can be never find the price tag since everywhere is a mess, so you pretty much buying something on the guess. Staff is never there. Simply disgusted just by being there. Idk how people are working in this dirt. Shame on the management, shame on the workers.
We called before going. Phone rang at least 20 times and no one picked up. Asked two different people where we could find a bouquet of flowers. They both sent us to the garden center. Not only were there no flowers but there was no one working in that area at all. The cut flowers are in Grocery, as far away from the garden center as you can get. All in all, a poor experience.
Dirty store, messy, hard to find most items due to clutter. Management, clean up your store!Also, waited over an hour for someone to help in sporting goods(overhead page) and left due to no one showing up. Time before this particular visit same issue at the jewelry counter. Going to start going to novi Walmart.
Worst. As Im walking through disappointed, I hear other shoppers sharing my same thoughts. Does anyone ever clean this store? Why is everything just thrown at the shelves? These arent even holiday shelves, these are normal shelves. This place is the absolute worst. Its worse than the time I found an old cereal bowl under my kids bed. Nothing is where it should be. Its like walking through the thrift store hoping to find lost treasure, without the super bargain prices. I mean, theyre walmart prices so theyre not bad, but you dont know what the price is until you check out because nothing had a price tag on it and is never where its supposed to be. Its shopping roulette at its worst.
This location is the worst I’ve been to. Every time I come here to get one little thing I need, I can never get an employee to help me when they have tons of extra employees that just walk around doing nothing. I have asked two employees to come to a section to unlock something and they told me someone would come but never did. I suggest going somewhere else if you need to come and do a quick stop because they also never have any lanes open, only self checkout.
This place was a MESS! I have shopped here in the past and it didnt look this bad. Nothing was where it shouldve been, store was dirty along with the bathroom. It will be a long time before I go back. Oh, they had a ton of people working there, or just getting paid to wander around in uniform!
Vegetables not fresh. More than one occasion I have bought groceries there only to find out the next day they were expired. Grocery shelf’s are not always stocked. From now on if I want groceries I’ll go to Kroger or another grocery food chain. When you try to be an all-in-one stop store (ie. clothing, electronics, groceries, etc.), you may excel in some areas but fail miserably in others.
More and more, the shelves at Walmart look like KMarts shelves when they were going out of business. Whether it be home needs or groceries, you take your chances on whether you will actually be able to find what you want. More than likely, youll have to settle for whats left, after rummaging through mostly empty shelves!
Initially, I was disappointed because all I needed was a ream of paper. There were a few boxes of paper (one ripped open). A guy was nice enough to try to help me but was unable to. I ended up getting the box that had been taken apart for less than half price. In the end, it worked in my favor.
I lost my wallet a few days ago and when this was the last place I used it I naturally I came here to look. Hardly had any help from the employees and when I was told to ask a manager or team leader the dude I think his name was Derek he just shrugged it off and didnt even check. Useless employees
The grocery order pick up system is a joke. I used the app to notify my arrival (the app said there’s no need to call) and waited an hour. I tried calling in, no answer anywhere. I drove down to the back of the building only to be told that I should have called the pick up phone number since their system crashed. I’m livid. Time was wasted. There could have been signs posted up near the regular parking spots to go to the back of the store or to call because there’s an issue. Even if I did call upon my arrival I would have reached no one. See my photo for the area customers are supposed to park at to pick up orders. I hope this helps someone! I hate it here!!!
Honestly, I hate shopping at this store. Upon entering the store there are absolutely zero carts in the coral. You have the pleasure of walking the parking lot to find an available cart to buy walmarts products with.Entering the store the shelves are empty and isles trashed. They may actually have some carts for customers if they werent packed with checkout returns. Btw, I will never buy meat or frozen products from this location. There were a pack of pork chops in a return cart that looked like it had been sitting there for days...The check out lady was very pleasant and the only reason this place came close to a 2* rating. Doubtful Ill be returning to this location again. To many better options close by. Thanks for nothing k-mart... I mean Walmart.
When you want to be proactive and call to make sure they’re doing check cashing and want to know it they’ll will approve your check (Because, your bank is closed). But, the phone just rings and rings. Like literally called ten times. Then, I called corporate to inform them that your store isn’t answering your phone. Then, click! He hangs up on me. Boy I tell you since the pandemic, Walmart’s customer service has gone 100% down hill. Not to mention I get there and guess what? It’s closed for the day!!!!! I guess I’ll just stick to Amazon getting my hard earned dollars.
I HATE THIS WALMART! I don’t know why I even keep coming here. I’m here right now and as always there are less than three open registers open and the two that are open have super long lines meanwhile I see employees running around seemingly busy but when I look at them they look as if they are just avoiding work now I could be wrong about that last part but I’m still upset that they only ever have two open lanes out of nine it’s ridiculous! They need to get more workers Walmart is a billion dollar company there’s no reason they shouldn’t have more workers. I’m done coming here!
I recently moved to the area and this is the closest store to me. I made several trips here to grab things I needed while moving. I quickly realized that its worth it to go out of my way to Target or Meijer. This place is a disaster, starting at the front door.No one ever gets the carts so there arent any at the door. You have to find your own in the parking lot. I thought it was a one-off but no, 4 out of 5 times the carts are strewn in the parking lot and there are none at the door. I learned that lesson after 2 trips where I had to carry my items. So fun.The place appears to be in a perpetual state of day after black Friday. You know, where all the shelves are empty, nothing is where it should be, theres no organization at all, stuff all over the floors. I thought this was also a one-off but no, thats just how this place looks all the time.I tried using their grocery delivery service. I dont know why I expected a place that wont even do the bare minimum to maintain and run their store to succeed at grocery delivery. Ive never gotten a complete order because most of my items are mysteriously Out of Stock on my scheduled delivery day. Even basic items, like cheddar cheese for instance, where I say the shopper can pick a substitute, literally ANY substitution if theyre out of cheddar cheese. And they mark the item as out of stock. Because apparently there is no cheese at all in the entire store. I got so sick of receiving 3/4 of the stuff I ordered that I gave up on this. Shipt is way better, same day delivery, they wont mark an item as out of stock out of sheer laziness, etc.I went in once to purchase bushes from their outdoor garden area where they keep plants and mulch, etc. That area was closed off and locked down. At 5pm on a Wednesday. I asked the 1 employee I could find about it and she told me they dont sell plants there. Ooookay.I know nothing will be done to fix this place. Its walmart after all. But it could be so much better.
Nice facility, but customer service was lacking. Placed an online order for curbside pickup and when I got to Walmart they told me I had to come inside to pickup? Apparently only groceries can be picked up curbside? However, the App still allowed me to order for curbside, even though I had more than groceries. I use Crutches to get around, so there was no way for me to go inside and carry out my items with crutches. So the next day I came back with my scooter. I called first to find out what time customer pickup closes on Sunday. I am told 8pm, so I rush over just to find out that customer pickup closed at 7pm on Sunday. So when I arrived on time, inside on the third day, service was extremely slow. Myself and one other customer waited over 15 minutes for the associate to arrive and then she made us feel like we bothering her to do her job. Not a good experience at all...
Its walmart do you dont expect much to begin with. This store is a mess. You cant tell what price belongs to what and i mean like a hurricane blew through. the same items are pit in multiple places under different price points. Cant figure it out when half the shelves are empty. Went to buy stuff for new home amd left carts full of stuff after an associate wanted to argue about the machine not taking cash. If four adults in self checkout are all saying it wasnt posted, IT WASNT POSTED. I’ll go somewhere else and pay double before dealing with this nonsense.
This is a decent Walmart if you just need to pick up a few things or kill some time. I dont understand why this store is not stocked like the other Walmarts. I walk in with a list of 6 items and I can only find 2 because the shelves are almost empty. And not just holiday season... This is all year around. And check out is very inconveniencing at times (card only at self-check outs) I dont think the store is staffed like it should, because when you need help you may not find anyone. The only good thing I can say is that the workers that I can find are friendly.
Ive shopped here before. Never have I seen it so cluttered, many empty shelves. Some of the staff were extremely helpful!! I appreciated that. One staff person had a mask attached to their ears, not covering their mouth and nose, while they talked to a customer. Ill be going to a different Walmart next time.
This is probably one of the less crowded walmarts Ive been to in the area. When the pandemic first started this store was in shambles, but I guess thats to be expected with everything thats going on. On this visit the shelves might not have been full but they were organized. All the associates at this particular walmart deserve a 👍🏾. Although its the people at cooperate that decide what associates will do, its ultimately the (hourly) workers that are making stuff happen. I know with everything thats going on customers can be difficult but every worker I came into contact with was fairly nice!
I dont shop here much but boy I got almost everything I was looking for. And the cashier was so sweet and accommodating, asking about gift receipts. The only criticism is when I parked I didnt see the sign that the entrance was closed until I was walking up to the doors. But a minor inconvenience.
My first thought when I walked into this Walmart was that the staff was very helpful knowledgeable and experienced I happened to ask one of the employees where something was she pointed me directly to it and it wasnt even her area so that just goes to prove that people do do their job and coherently pay attention to the things that they are taught I recommend this place for everybody and anyone
Shelves are always bare. Throughout the whole store. It couldnt be run any worse.Edit: 8 months later: 50% of items are completely out of stock. Always the same, empty shelves. Store is a mess. Website says it is in stock? Hell NO. Textbook example of the worst run retail store in country.
Lets see, the Money Center, and or Customer Service departments seem to open when they want. When I asked for a money order, they laughed and said the machine was down. The guys stocking the shelves in the groceries, take up most of the aisle, and started throwing frozen food at eachother, when I was trying to shop. People hoard, stocking their carts with the same items, with no limits, so they run out quickly. The worst thing is The STORE IS FREEZING COLD! They cant afford to have the heat on, or maybe I am there to early at 8am? I dont know how anyone would want to work there, in the col!
This store has more stocks in almost all items than the one at Novi. Some of the vegetables were old dated, didnt look fresh. Clothing for women have wide variety. I usually do self checkout and dont go by cashier as there are very less in number plus theres always long queue which is something I have seen in Novi store too.
I bought several 35 gallon totes a 1 year from the Walmart 1mile from my house. I needed a couple more so I opened up my Walmart to see who had them in stock. The closet store was 7 mile Livonia 19miles/30min drive. In need for some small bins I came across this amazing deal. When I got there they didn’t have the 35gal totes in stock. Thought someone bought them 1st, I can understand that. But there’s still the amazing deal for the $1.00 totes (see screen shots). I went to the check out scanned the 1st bin it rang up at $4.98. The manager (Francis) came over and I showed him the advertised price his response was that’s wrong you should’ve scanned it with the 1st app. I again showed him the app has it advertised as $1.00. He said not this store. So to prove his point he had me reopen the app (so it would link with the store prices). Walked me through how to scan it with the app, it showed up $4.98, he then stated that’s the price. So to prove my point I (still linked to that store) I entered storage bins in the search bar (as he was telling me that won’t work) I scrolled down and there it was advertised at this store for $1.00. His response was well that’s wrong it’s the price it scans at. As a manager one would think you would honor the advertised price, or at the least discount it due to the fact that there’s no possible way I could scan it before I drove 30mins to the store. I never shop at this location in the future. And it’ll probably be a while before I shop at any location. Looks like I’ll be taking the extra 7 minute drive to the Meijer for my weekly shopping trips. At least they honor there advertised prices.
Usually out of everything, nothing is labeled correctly, and at peak hours only have two cashiers. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a cart full and just left it after waiting over an hour in line. I’ve stopped shopping at Walmart for my essentials, I might pay a little more elsewhere but it’s worth it. I immediately regret it when I have to come here.
Talk about some lazy workers! I had a question for pickup. Nobody answered the phone at the service desk or for pickup. Theyre too lazy to answer the phones! If you just let the phone ring youll get hung up on after about 5 minutes. Im glad I didnt buy anything from here just to have them not answer the phone. So much for curbside!
Went into the garden center to buy indoor plants, very disappointed. Their stock was very limited and the plants they had were near death even the lucky bamboo plants, no leaves.I love my bamboo plants and was disappointed that I had to go elsewhere when this location is so close to home. 😔
Ordered groceries for a pick up option. Was given a time between 5pm-6pm. When I arrived at the store I got an alert that said delayed. No explanation and the associates seemed clueless as to what was going on. Needless to say I will never shop at this Walmart again. They might as well take the option for pick up away because waiting for for over an hour is ridiculous!!!!
Self checkout had long line and only two regular checkout lanes were open. Also they have removed the price check scanners in the stores and require you to download the Walmart app to check prices while shopping. I found that I was unable to get a signal in the back of the store to price check items and had to return to an area towards the front of the store to check prices. This was inconvenient.
Customers service counter staff pick and choice who they like to help or not help. Very rude and disrespectful to customers. I believe all people should be treated in a pleseant manor. If you cant help customers with a smile then at least get the hateful look and vibe iff your face because you are spreading hatred. If you dont like your job punch out and go home. (You should quit or be fired.)
1Star-4Stars. Ordering Pickup is not Fast nor convenient. Ive ordered twice and still had to enter the store and make social contact for my items. Also my order wasn’t handled as advertised. Same day availability is usually not the case I’m finding that out.Also I’ve been calling to make sure my itemsAre correct and to make sure myMoney was properly spent using the online ordering and no one at this location wants to answer the telephone.Buuutttt...... :) Shortly after my tough unwanted customer experience Sonya in Pick Up and Delivery was able to provide the customer service I needed to keep my shopping experience comfortable and enjoyable.Thanks Sonya not only were you able to fix the issue you were able to professionally give an explanation for the delay as well as lighten the mood of a frustrated customer. Thanks.
They have better prices on most items. Visited recently visited to pick up baby merchandise. Found limited selection of some inventory and prices werent always clear while it was impossible for me to locate employee. I had to get a price check at the checkout. Still ended up being a suprising low price on all.

2022-03-10I absolutely love this Walmart for finding everything I need at home school, work and play👌. The only problem is the checkout lines❤️ there are plenty of self checkout Vines and those lines were very long and Walmart has approximately 15 or more regular checkout lines which only two of them were open so the were all the way backed up down the aisles,(it must be income tax return time because its not Christmas 😁) stood in line 35 minutes yesterday with only two actual cashiers working and all of the other lines were closed, no let me reiterate a third cashier finally came and opened up after we stood in line 30 minutes why do you have all those checkout lines and theres no cashiers? Like so many other jobs out here with the cost of living so high perhaps regular workers like me should be paid our Worth to keep up with the economy so that more people will come to work for the regular essential jobs that so many of us need!❤️

2022-04-06Great place to shop, eat, haircut 💇♂️, groceries 😋,curbside pickup 👌, delivery of groceries, & plenty of jobs. Googlers stop by this plaza. So many department stores, diners 🍽, fast food restaurants 😋, gazebo area with nature 🤔 scenery plus pond sidewalks, banks 🏦, & more. I choose to shop at Walmart. My family 👪 order items online for me to pickup. I ran inside as well to check ✔️ out the pharmacy. Medicine 💊 🩺 ⚕️ was needed as well for family 👪 members Healthcare. Allow some time ⏲️ when shopping 🛍 here . Walmart was really busy with plenty of customers 🙄. Everyone at pharmacy was very friendly and helpful. Great experience 👍. We were hanging 😀 🙂 😄 😊 😁 out with the bird 🐦 crew 2. For a minute! ....... Made another stop ✋️ 2 shop at Walmart. Family 👪 members needed a few more items from the grocery, meat 🍖, household departments 🏬 🏢 😀. We bought some steaks n hamburgers 🍔 😀 for grilling. A couple of end tables 2 eat on. 😋 1 really big resting pillow 😴. I call that a good trip 2 the department store.

2022-04-26Customer service needs major improvement, I have shopped there on multiple occasions. Grocery shopping is never a issue and never really had a problem in that area. On the other hand the electronics department..... well not so helpful at all. Instead of helping you, they just say we dont have it in stock or it doesnt exist or its online only. This is without looking at the computer and making sure. I worked in retail before I know it can be annoying. This is a job dealing with people you need to be able to communicate and help your customers, instead of blowing them off.

2022-03-22Great as always, food selection was amazing compared to regular stores. Youll find things youve been looking for. Prices were pretty good for the economy. Especially if youre low income, staff were friendly and they have a subway. I heartily recommend this store!

2022-06-20This store is not run professionally. Your options are self-service or wait in one of the two open lines. Btw... bottle slips may not be used in the self serve line. So I had three items and $1.10 worth of bottle returns; I had to get in line behind someone with two full baskets. I gave that person my bottle slips, and left the store without purchasing.I will not return to this Walmart. Not for me.

2022-04-06I HATE that I have to give this place even one star. This is by far the worst Walmart to go to for your shopping needs. I went last night to return bottles and buy a few necessities. when I entered the store there was a worker on her phone, no greeting just a blank stare. The recycle room was completely trashed. all the bins were full, I asked the associate on her phone for help and all her reply was that it wasnt her department. I asked her if she could page someone in that department for help. Again I got no help. I walked up to the self check out and asked the lady to page someone for the recycling. someone finally came 20 minutes later to replace 1 bin. As if I wasnt slightly irritated enough the store wasnt even stocked with what I needed, I tried asking a few employees for help and got nothing but attitude and passive response. The employees are soo rude here, they are lazy, dont know the definition of customer service, and dont care whether or not they help you. Not to mention they closed the store almost a half hour early..so I didnt even get all the items I needed since I spent so much time waiting for the recycling guy. so Im checking out now and I go to give the lady my bottle slips and she says oh, you cant do that here you have to go to a main register( which none were open). so I never even got my money for the bottles I waited to return. I absolutely HATE coming to this place, but did because I thought they were open until 11. I will gladly spend extra money elsewhere so I dont ever have to come back to this Walmart again. By far the worst around.

2022-05-25I usually stay away from Walmart but I am glad I stepped foot in this one. I had to send a friend money and he said Walmart 2 Walmart is best. It was only $13 to send $1600 using Moneygram and it would have been $16 using Walmart 2 Walmart. The store was clean and stocked well. The workers offered good customer service. I will send money PayPal or Cash app next time to save myself time and Money. $13 isnt bad though for instant transfer of $1600

2022-04-05Thats visit made me a disappointed disabled shopper! Using self check-out I Asked for help to apply my coupons to my purchase. The employee didnt know what to do.I thought she went to get help. She said I dont know why its not excepting the coupons &walked away. After about 40 seconds I turned around to look for her & only to realized she just started helping someone else. How rude!👎

2022-03-18I understand times are tough, however since I was not waiting 30 mins or more to have someone check me out I went to the self check out. Three times it double scanned items, without alerting me there was a duplicate scan. However when it double scanned my item but not scan the next item, oh there was a major alert including a video of me trying to scan the item.Honestly it’s enough that I have to cash myself out, please don’t try to ripe me off in the process. Oh did I mention I also witnessed a guy standing there for atleast 15 mins waiting for his receipt, which the worker told him yeah that machine is really slow. Another customer I actually gave him a crisp $20 so the machine would take it. Seriously Walmart you need to do better for your customers, I see you are making sure you are taken care of but what about us?

2022-03-31This store has to be one of the worse Wal-Mart in the Detroit area. The staff has no knowledge of any items; the management hired too many kids who spend their time walking around on their phones and refuse to help customers and have rude responses. The store looks great up front but is nasty in the back of the store. You guys need new management.
