Bought a fleet package from Walters last week along with a trailer, and couldnt be happier. The costumer service was second to none along with professionalism. SCOTT walked me through everything I needed to know about the equipment as I wasnt too familiar with it all. They had everything you needed and were very knowledgeable about all.Also seeing other customers coming in and being treated with exceptional service was very reassuring.I would highly recommend Walters equipment to anyone looking for great prices and service.
Terrific service and very responsive! Got our old snowblower repaired, which had only been serviced once in its lifetime, back to sounding new. Pickup and delivery was quick and in the time frame expected. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable pricing and much less than I was expecting it to be. Highly recommend them.
Bought my first new mower from here. If I ever need another Ill be a returning customer. Great bunch of guys with amazing knowledge of equipment.
RENTER BEWARE! They delivered me a bobcat which was leaking all over after a half hour of use. Sent a tech out who inspected and declared it needed to return to the shop. A couple hours later they contact me saying it was only water It was 84 outside with bright sun yet almost 3 hours later the long oily trail was still on the ground. They returned the equipment to me. 2 1/2 hours in the bobcat slipped a track off it, Walters has no one capable of putting a track back on either. The tracks shouldve never slipped to begin with, they were improperly adjusted and loose. I ended up renting a second bobcat from Caledonia Rent All to finish my yard work.4 days after Walters picked up the rental they attempted calling me with questions about my usage, I did not answer as I was extremely disgruntled with them. Regardless of the customers response time the companies call it still took 4 DAYS to place the first call to me. They then accused me of bending the rear chain hooks on it which I never used for any reason at all. Nor is there anything on my property I couldve possibly used it for that would bend those hooks. They claimed upon pickup they noticed they were bent, why was I not immediately contacted as in that same day? Not a phone call attempt made 4 days later. Instead they wait and make false accusations days later?! However, Caledonia Rent All had their delivery driver call me after he loaded up the equipment to let me know everything looked good and passed their inspection.I have operated skid steers for over 18 years of my life and never had issues like this before. Never once slipped a track even on old highly used equipment. I am also a 16 year mechanic that can tell you Walters does not properly maintain their equipment or have technicians with experience.Clearly you must thoroughly inspect the equipment with the delivery driver before and after usage. Make sure to annotate everything down to the smallest paint chip as you can never be sure as to what they will try and accuse you of damaging.
I got a real smoking deal on a great saw and am really pleased with the entire transaction. The Postal Service not so sure about but thats not their fault. I will definitely buy from then again! A+++++ & 5 stars
You have tons of store options when it comes to outdoor power equipment, but nothing compares Walters Equipment. They carry the best and most reliable products while providing excellent customer service. Taking care of customers is often a lost art these days and Walters Equipment keeps its customers number one. Working with Walters Equipment was the best! I purchased a lawn mower from them 3 years ago! Still have it and they continue to provide exceptional services. They are super honest with everything they do. I have no purchased my leaf blower, weed wacker, lawn edger, and multiple other lawn tools. Next is a UTV, from them!!! I spend a lot of time investigating/researching new equipment purchases. Im always looking for the best deal on the best equipment. Not even sure why I do it because I can just walk into Walters equipment and tell them what I need and walk out with the best deal plus the knowledge and service to go with it. I will definitely be coming back again.
I have bought a LandMaster from Walters Equipment last spring. I have used the UTV for 6 months now and have had no problems. I have purchased a chainsaw, gasoline, parts and other equipment. Everything I have purchased, I have had no problems with. Their customer service is great. The quality of the product they offer is great. The timeline for parts to be ordered has been accurate. I have been so satisfied with their service, that my wife wanted her own UTV. Thus, when I desired to order another one, I knew exactly where I would order it from. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Although I come from the other side of Grand Rapids (45 mins away) to go to their shop, I find the trip very worth while. If anyone were to ask me, I would highly recommend them. They have treated me great!
I got to use my Simplicity two stage snowblower from Walters Equipment today for the first time. It worked great and blew thesnow a long ways. Everything Zack said about it was accurate and worked perfectly. My driveway is about 600ft long. This machine will definitely do what I need done.Thankyou Walters for your help in picking out this machine
Brought my snow blower in for service and the prices were very reasonable. The service here is great. Very friendly and professional. I had to come back in a week later, completely unrelated to the first time, because I thought I had a flat tire. They just reseated it, filled it with air, tested it overnight, and gave it back to me no charge!
I emailed for a quote on a IS 700z Ferris, Scott sent the quote back on a Saturday evening which I was impressed. Went to see Walters on the next Saturday to look at it. Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, willing to help out with whatever questions I had. Pricing was the best I could find in the area, ordered a new one. The only thing that I can say that Im a little disappointed with is the fact it didnt come with a full tank of gas. All my JDs have been delivered with full tanks of gas. Otherwise, great dealership.
Paid $130 to accomplish nothing. Rented Dingo Track Loader TX525 as my gf and I assumed this would be able to dig through our clay soil in order to put fence posts in. The big could only dig a foot to a foot and a half. Called twice hoping to get some assistance but they were of no help and didnt seem interested in providing good customer service. They were condescending to my gf and were not wearing masks nor did they require customers too. I would find someone else to rent from as these people have no interest in making sure their customers are happy.
They dont care much about quality customer service. Nor do they offer reasonable estimates of timing. I dropped my mower off 3 weeks ago and they are telling me there are still 40+ units ahead of me.Methinks Ive been blown off and must not be very important to them. Ill never recommend this place to anyone... not worth the trouble or feeling like they dont care about my business. Must be too small potatoes.
Great staff thats always willing to help out with questions about products. I go there exclusively for Husqvarna parts which they are great for.

I purchased a 2016 Cfmoto Cforce 500 HO quad from John after he took the time and explained to my wife and I all the details, being Cfmoto is new to the American market. He was for sure a top notch sales person and treated my wife and I with great respect. I was so happy with my purchase experience at Walters Equipment, I wanted to purchase another quad! I found another quad but different model in the CFMoto brochure but, it was not stocked in the color I wanted. As a CFMoto dealer, they where able to get the machine in the color of choice but of course it needed to be shipped and assembled. They where running a deal on the in stock 500 HO machine at the time I purchased it. I asked John if I where to buy another machine from them, but his time the 800 Cforce, would they honor the same deal as they did for 500 HO. He said he would talk to the owner about it and get back to me. In a short few hours later John emailed me saying Scott would make the deal and followed that up with the cost breakdown. They didnt have to tell me twice! I headed right over to Walters Equipment the following day and signed the purchase order with Scott! Thanks a ton Scott and John!! Thanks to the whole crew at Walters Equipment for such a great establishment. I can say Scott is for sure in it for the long haul with how he and his staff treat their customers! Cant wait for the Zforce 1000cc release :-D
Best small engine repair in GR area. No contest.Wont find better prices on the good brand blowers mowers and chainsaws either. I buy all my lawn care and wood cutting equipment and supplies here. No brainer.

I bought a zero turn and a quad and 2 weed trimmers and a leaf blower. Love this place best prices in town. I have called him with questions and they have answered them all. They are willing to teach you and show you how to use your items you have purchased
The staff is very friendly and helpful! They had the snowblower I wanted in stock. They assembled it for me, gassed it up, showed me how it works, and helped me put it in the truck. They even gave me a quart of oil to go with it. Great service!
We took our snowblower there to have a broken pull cord replaced. I called a week after they said itd be done and it wasnt yet. Apparently they forgot about it because they did it that day. After I got it home, it wouldnt start. The pull cord wouldnt engage the engine. When I brought it back, they said its probably a bad carburetor which costs $165 to replace. When I asked if it started for them, they hadnt even tried it to see if the pull cord worked. I took it to another local mechanic who showed me the problem. The pull cord was not put back correctly. There are two pins inside that were not lined up. Thus not engaging the engine. Walters was a huge rip off. And we will not be back.
Never a bad experience, everyone is always friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I never mind the extra drive to do business with them. I always appreciate the extra time they take to explain things and to help.

Rebuilt a husqvarna 440 and these guys made sure that I had everything needed for the rebuild. Can get parts fast and have most things in stock that others dont. Only place to shop.

Equipment part is fine, beware of using storage units. No security, and mine was broken into along with 2 others. Sheriff thought that workers at the factory behind it were watching to see had what in their storage units.
They are a great local source for refilling LP Gas Tanks. They charge a flat rate for 20lb and 30lb tanks but it’s still cheaper than exchanging tanks elsewhere.
These guys are completely the best people Ive ever came across. And Ive been everywhere. Greatest prices around, best service the whole experience is literally award winning!

2022-05-15Scott and his team recently serviced our zero turn mower. I am extremely happy with the results. They went through the entire mower and it has never looked or run as well as it does now. 2022-01-18I selected Walters Equipment because it was close to my work, and they serviced Husqvarna chainsaws. Although I did not need service I wanted OEM parts. They did not have the parts in stock, but ordered them for me. Three days later I got a text from them stating my parts were in. I arrived an hour after getting the text, and the parts were still on the counter waiting for me. They were very helpful and got me what I needed quickly. Thank you!

2021-06-10This place is a bit of a drive from my home, but I went there because they had a specific Simplicity Lawn Tractor I was looking for. Only one to have it in the area. Never been there before, but they showed me the tractor, went over it, very knowledgeable about the tractor and the brand. We wrote it up, set up delivery (for a very reasonable fee) for the very next day. Young man delivery it and went over it with me. Asked a couple times if I had any questions. He was also very knowledgeable about the tractor. Could not ask for a better experience and I absolutely love the new tractor. If they were closer to my home, they would be my dealer for sure. Cant go wrong shopping here. Very happy!

2021-09-03I have found them to be non responsive, and not doing what they say that are going to do. I had equipment on reserve. I get a call the day before saying something broke and they needed to order a part… which happens. What is frustrating is that they were supposed to call me when it was ready. I waited 2 weeks and finally called them. The equipment that I needed was rented out, and my phone never rang. I was able to rent something similar, but they wanted to charge me double the price because it was a holiday weekend. I waited 2 weeks to support a local company…. Sincerely disappointed.

2021-02-19This is the place to get your lawn, garden and snow equipment in West Michigan. They know their products inside and out and their prices are very competitive. As for service, they got you covered there too. I recently had an incident after a big snow fall where my snowblower wouldnt throw the snow. Called Walters up and they were able to get it fixed that very same day!!! No shoveling for me. I highly recommend them.

2019-09-21These guys are great! I have done a bunch of work around my house this year and have rented all my equipment from them and it’s been amazing!! They are great to work with, very professional and honest! They taught me how to properly use them properly, and gave me pointers and tricks to get the job done. Will definitely recommend to anyone!!! I will definitely be back to rent some more.
