Very BAD!!! let me be honest the place was not neat at all.... the principal was totally rude towards me because I was wearing a scarf because I AM MUSLIM GIRL!!! He was totally racists while he was interviewing me he did not ask me any professional questions about education after two minutes of my interview he asked me if I had any question I dont know why he was in a rush!!! on top of that he did not tell me the reason why I did not get expected he just said oh we will give you a call if we have anything opening while he was talking to me he was totally a jerk!! I just cant believe this!!! totally pissed off I just cant believe their are people like that still in this world!!!! I will never ever go back and apply at their place .... Seriously such a bad place
My 12 year old has attended Waterford Montessori since they have opened the school is wonderful they have brought him so far not only academically but all around they really are preparing our children for the skills theyre going to need for life I dont even begin to understand where the bad reviews are coming from I can assure you there is zero tolerance for bullying and racist you have to be kidding me Waterford Montessori is like one big family if youre considering the school try it for a semester Waterford Montessori is where all three of my children will go getting them out of a cookie cutting assembly line School is by far one of the best decisions Ive made for them

2022-05-21This is our first year at Midland for my two kiddos. I was concerned about the past reviews and was hesitant to enroll my kids, but they absolutely love it and we (the parents) do as well! There are families with different backgrounds and there is no discrimination that I can see. You can tell all teachers and staff members care about their community and make sure the students are learning. They go above and beyond. The learning curriculum is fantastic and engaging. Staff members address issues of concern immediately. Both of my kids are excelling. They have become independent and enjoy learning. There are school uniforms. Some can be purchased new, but many parents sell them on a Facebook group that was created at a discounted rate. The school really is a community. It relies on families to keep the school running. There are opportunities for parents to volunteer for pizza/sub days, popcorn days, and various field trips/fundraisers. I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer many times and can overhear students and teachers engaging in ways I have adopted as well! Also, the school has spirit days, casual days, gym, roller skating, music and art. It really is a great non traditional school and I highly recommend to all families to try it out. This school is missing reviews from all of the families that have been here a long time!

2021-04-01It’s ok. There was some problems when I attended for 4-7th grade. There was bullying, discrimination, and science and history was a “privilege” according to a teacher. Some of the staff was amazing! Like the Office Secretary! But the education was pretty bad. When I got To Mason middle school, I could only remember, nouns are red circles. And the math was not enough either. Maybe it has changed, but then to now, was pretty rough

2018-02-13My son has been at the Waterford Montessori School for three years now and plan to continue at this time. Since he has been at the school my sons confidence has risen hes more motivated to learn He reads at a higher grade level than were he should be. Is it always good, No, but thats anywhere you go. Our first year the teacher was not a good fit for my son but we changed teachers and he began to excel. The school staff is always ready and willing to work with the families from what I have experienced and heard. Its not for everyone thats for sure. they are not racist they have many ethnicities in the school and they treat the children well.

2019-10-01We are on our second year here and we love it. The teachers are all very friendly and approachable and you can tell they really love what they are doing. The PVG makes sure there is great activities for the kids all year long including a daddy daughter style dance, a fun run, scholastic book fairs, pizza and popcorn days. I love how independent my kids have become and I am amazed at how much information they retain. Most importantly they are excited about going to school and eager to learn!

2018-03-27Amazing school and staff. We have been there since day one. There are so many positive things to note from the support of the teachers to an amazing student body to great sense of commitment. With small class size & individualized learning this school does excellent in academics. We also appreciate the atmosphere that uniforms brings to the school. Students are taught to be responsible for themselves and considerate towards others.

2017-09-06Run, run, run away from this school, as fast as you can. The principal of the school does not have any idea of education. The school staff encourage bullying. Disappointed in how teachers treat students and how children are not learning standards for their grade. The principal hide information from parents and try to keep parents away from any school activities involvement. When actual bullying issue or racism issue or troublemaking student exist the principal does nothing more than make excuses and hide until the dust settles. I am so happy that my child left this school. The management and teachers in this school should educate themselves about Montessori curriculum and philosophy. This school does not have anything in common about Montessori education.

2019-10-19Just to disorganized! The times and rules on the website arent applied in the school. They make students sign in late before school starts if they dont want to stand outside for drop off. The work isnt meeting state standards. And bullying isnt punished at all. My child was picked up and thrown amd punched and kicked at this school. All brought up to the teacher AND principle both did NOTHING. Didnt even let me know this happened. This IS not true Montessori as they dont follow her methodser like they make you think. Also be prepared for no one knowing what is going on. You can ask 3 staff the same question get 3 different answers. None will match the handbook. Also not low income friendly the uniforms alone are only purchasable at dennis and cost no lthan $22 a shirt.

2019-05-15Felt really disrespected as parents. A truly hurtful experience, and we felt we had no choice but to switch schools, which was so sad, as we really wanted a Montessori education for our child. We were treated as though we were lower class people and were embarrassed to walk into the school by the end of the year, and we had done everything we could to be model parents for our student.

2017-11-13Owe are so happy with this school. Our twins love it. Before we have to fight for them to do home work. Now they said mom we need to study . And finish our project. Teachers and all the team members are super nice people.
