The folks at Watts are outstanding. I brought my 2019 Street Glide in for an amp, new front speakers, and to install new lid speakers (which needed to be cut out). I originally was going to have one of the pre-assembled kits installed in my bike. Shawn personally toured me around the shop and showed me deferent speaker and amp options on a variety of bikes. Long story short, I went with their recommendations and I am not disappointed. The technician, Steve, who worked on my bike did an outstanding job. If you want the best, go to Watts...
Everyone I know has their audio systems done at Watts.... they are very professional and know what their doing when it comes to motorcycles. They help me get my 1980 Shovelhead back on the road and put a system on my husbands 2018 Anniversary Edition Electra Glide. I love this place. They are great. The staff is friendly and helpful.i Highly recommend them if you need anything for your Harley.
I highly recommend this place! Shawn (the owner) is friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and an all-around awesome guy. I went here for a problem with my subwoofer after another place supposedly fixed the issue, which then reoccurred within a few months. I called in the morning and Shawn said to come in anytime the same day. When I got there, he found the problem and fixed it within 15min. Will definitely be back to get audio upgrades for my fiances car. Ill be telling everyone I know about how great Shawn and this place is. Thank you again!
I am satisfied with the service and quality of work Sean provided. I got 2 systems done as well as some motor work. My bike is so loud and fast, Im excited to go riding. Thanks guys...I recommend using Watts Audio and Cycle Works. Friendly staff and clean environment.
Shawn and his crew are a class act! Their attention to detail while they work on your bike is amazing! Shawn invited me to watch if I wanted to, so I took him up on it. WOW! If your looking for someone to take and work on your bike as if it was their own, then this is the place for you!!!!! Thanks Shawn!!
I have been considering having my audio upgraded on my 17 Street Glide. I had the Boom Stage II in the fairings and rear bags.Ive stopped in a couple of times and the folks there were always helpful and friendly with my questions. As well, Ive done some checking online and they are a well regarded audio and custom motorcycle shop.I was about to pull the trigger on a system that was nearly twice as much money as I ended up spending with Watts, but I would have done the install myself. I was going to replace the speakers in the upper fairing, add pods and speakers to the lowers and then replace the rears bag speakers with bigger 6x9s. I gave one last call over to Watts and I talked to Steve. He suggested I come in and listen to some options. He showed me a bike similar to mine with a similar setup and the sound was significantly fuller and richer than my Boom system. Steve also suggested I hold off on adding the lowers. He felt that the leap we were making from what I have to what Watts was gong to install was so great, lowers would not be needed. He was right.Im really glad I stopped in. I had envisioned and hoped for an end result. I didnt want a booming loud system, I wanted a really great sounding system with a little more volume. Not only does the system sound amazing, but I can hear it at highway speeds without having to turn it up fully. They used the old head unit and cast their tech joo joo on that somehow and then used one amp to power replacements in the fairing and in the rear bag lids. We were able to fit larger 6x9s in the lids with some customization and they did not have to sacrifice the auto locks in the bags. The entire install was clean and professional. I was glad to see them eliminate the second boom amplifier in the bag. Overall, the larger 6x9s are a net loss of cargo space in the bags, but the loss of the amplifier from the left bag offsets that loss partially.Ive listened to the system for about 20 hours or so since the install and I couldnt be more pleased. The 6x9s deliver a nice full clean bass sound compared to the 5x7 Boom speakers. As well, while I lose the bass at highway speeds, the rear speaker deliver a really full mid and high range sound. Harley has a distinctive looking offset tweeter on the 6 1/2s in the fairing and its a great design. HDs speaker setup looks better. The sound from the new component speakers; however, are in a different class.Because the new components allow them to create not only louder sound, but exception high quality sound, Ive been able to listen to music I didnt think Id be able to enjoy on my bike. Quieter acoustic music comes through just as loud and clear. As obvious as this should have been, I didnt realize how much Id enjoy this benefit. I love the sound on my bike thanks to the experts at Watts. They are super busy. As much as anyone may try to claim otherwise, there isnt a better place to take your motorcycle for an audio upgrade. As well, the shop was busy with custom fabrications and service work. Thanks to all the guys there for making my bike audio dreams come true. You guys are rock stars.
I went to the establishment to get a price quote on some new speakers in my car and one of the employees told me that they were busy and that he would call the manufacturer and get a quote and that he will call me back with the quote. The employee never called me back. When I first walked into the establishment the workers appeared to be unkept and really didnt take pride in their appearance. I took my business else where, to Car Tunes in Allen Park and they were very professional. I wouldnt recommend this establishment.
Not even out of the lot and Im writing this review. Dont bother going anywhere else! 4 places and 4 completely different opinions on radio/amp/subwoofer issues. And all costly! We were here less than 10 minutes and we are all set - saw incorrect hookup that everyone else somehow missed. Helpful, friendly and clearly know what they are doing. We will be back for window tinting and more. Yay! Thank you Shawn Watt!
Just recently had a remote starter put on my new Terrain. By me staying relatively close the staff was able to drive me back home while they Installed. Done quicker than expected and my vehicle didnt sound funny or performed differently. Also by this being my first official remote start I was guided of what to do and dont do.Last but not least I was skeptical of the range and plus by it being a 1way (cant afford the 2way unless I hit the mega millions... lol), I was worried it wouldnt connect. By my surprise it actually did connect I just have to make sure Im by a window if Im at either jobs or home since its a 3min walk to get to my car.All in all check out Watts and I wish I was still into the subwoofers but I promise myself that once I hit 30 that will be a thing of the past.
One word. AMAZING! After being swindled at a used car lot and ending up with a nice vehicle with 1 key and no keyfob Watts Audio & Cycle Works hooked me up big time! See Im a single mom and its winter and Ill cut to the chase; juggling a diaper bag with a toddler on your hip, dodging ice traps trying to unlock your vehicle with a a single keyhole is less than desirable in fact it straight blows and is a struggle. So I called up Watts to see if they could help me with keyless entry. They told me they could definitely help me out so I brought my car up to them and guess what: they found a nice after-market Python remote start system had been installed. 10 minutes later not only did I have keyless entry with the bonus of remote start but Shawn, the owner, was taking me step by step through how to use it. Just amazing. I would recommend them to anyone!!!! They truely helped me out in the best way possible.
It is 9:46 AM on Saturday 9/8/2018. Front door says they are open. Sticker in door says they are open today from 9AM-5PM. Luminous sign says OPEN. Knocked the door. Called their listed phone number. NO SOUL. NOBODY THERE. NO SERVICE. LOST SALE. GOT BAD REVIEW FOR THAT SIMPLE REASON. You cannot conduct business this way. Not in 2018.

2021-11-15I don’t even know where to start..Watt’s audio is like home to me now. Shawn the owner started as just another guy who takes my money and works on my motorcycle and when I got it back I was actually able to talk to him and get to know him a little bit and he is now like a brother. You won’t find anyone else that takes his time and makes sure your work gets done in the most professional way possible at a great rate.I have taken my bike up there for a whole audio system, black out, and a 124ci S&S motor swap and I could not begin to explain how amazed I am at the work that he and his employees have done on my bike. Here are some photos of my bike before and after.I Highly Recommend this shop if you want the best bike in town

2022-04-21When I first bought my bike a few years back, they did my sound system. I used it for a lot of years and a lot of miles. There were a couple of times where i had some minor issues with the system, they stepped up and handled it the right way and got me back on track and sounding great. This time around, when I was ready to step it up and take my sound system to the next level, there was no question it would be Watts doing the work. Two baller amps in the fairing, a DSP, upgraded fairing speakers, more power to my bags....I never thought Id say this, but full volume is a bit too much to take..... sounds great....but its LAF. :) No one in 7 counties does motorcycle audio better than Watts. Thank you guys. And a shout out to Jacqui....from the quote to picking it up, she helped me make it all happen and kept me in the loop through the entire process. Great customer service.

2019-08-23Honest and professional work, friendly staff, affordable and reliable unlike most shops in the Detroit area (no need to drop names) They Carry all the top quality brands and dont push you to spend money over your budget. Also thought it was cool they have a financing program. Comfortable atmosphere with a nice lounge to relax while you wait. Highly recommended for by a satisfied customer.

2021-09-13Terrible experience.Had $1800 of work done. Compete hack job. Bike was brought back two times for them to fix it. They are not careful with your bike at all. Scratched my brand new bike up. Shop is a clutter with bike parts laying all over the ground. Installed my amp with wood screws. Could write all day about my experience if I wanted to. Spend the money and go somewhere else if you care about the quality of work being done on your bike.

2021-03-22This place definitely knows how to take care of it customers. Husband installed upgrade radio system for our 2014 Street Glide Special still needed a harness. They hooked my husband up and answered all his questions he had about his bike. Will be spreading the word about them and telling everyone I know to go there. Made me and my husband a valued customer and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

2021-06-14Brought motorcycle in for repairs in March with the guarantee it would be ready by first weekend in April. It’s June and still not done. Would not recommend if your expectation is fast professional service. Had to pick up motorcycle and trailer it home.
