The entire team over at Wayne lawn and garden have been absolutely incredible in helping me start my lawn care service. Jenna is extremely knowledgeable about the products that she sells and helped me pick the perfect machines based on my needs and current customer base. The team there always seems to direct me in the right direction even when I have my mind set on something different though their advice has saved me lots of time and money as I looked back having gained some experience. Im glad that I found Wayne lawn and garden as I began to start my business and look forward to doing much business together. Jenna 98% perfection when it comes to her knowledge and skills.
I have been going here for years. I have sent several customers here to purchase lawnmowers and other equipment from here. The owner is awesome and most of the workers in the front and the repair guys are great. BUT that Jenna lady (parts manager) is terrible, with a nasty attitude. The way she talked to me today was so disrespectful!!!! She wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say. She said I didn’t purchase the blade I had at their store. They don’t sell that type of blade. I went and talked to the owner and he agreed, that he sold me the blade I had in my hand. He showed me the same blade on their rack and he sold me the wrong blade. All she had to do is stop and listen to what I had to say.
The guys at Wayne Lawn and Garden were very helpful in picking out an appropriate trimmer for me to use around my yard. They explained the product to me and helped me make an informed decision, even filled it with the first tank of gas and oil. I would definitely recommend them & plan to go back for future needs.
I bought a walk behind mower here. Thankfully I bought the one Jenna said I should get, not the one I wanted! Jenna was very knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. I walked out with a mower all put together, gassed up ready to mow, which is what I did. Because of Jenna I will continue to spend my money here!
These guys and gals took great care of my vehicle and myself when I purchased a new Sno-way plow for my business 😁 They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase!! Made me feel right at home 😊 Thanks to all the employees there! Definitely going to recommend them to others.
Wayne Lawn and Garden took great care of me. I recently had some warranty work done on my Echo chainsaw and they took care of it in a timely fashion. So i bought a new Stihl weed whip from them.If a company supports me when I need help then I will buy my products from them. Loyalty is a 2 way street.
Great experience. I called looking for a generator and they told me they were having an event that day with reps from multiple companies there and that if I could come that day it would help me. I ended up going in right away and talked to someone very knowledgeable there as well as a rep from Echo. I ended up getting exactly what I was looking for in 15 minutes. Great staff, great selection, and because of the event I even got free pizza!
I was in search of a new trimmer I have 5 lawns I cut 1 is an over an acre lots of trimming the other over a half acre lots of trimming . My Ryobi trimmer the heads kept breaking. Jenna help me decide on a new Stihl FS 91 R she was very helpful I didnt want another 1 season wonder , I could have went many other places Im glad I went with a locally owned business.
First time here. The owner, staff & mechanic, nothing but friendly & very knowledgeable. They seemed very happy to educate me on anything I asked about. From snow plows to zero turns. Ryan (sales), Mark (mechanic) very helpful & knowledgeable. Treated me as the most important person there. I definitely will be doing more business with them.
The thing is when I went there first time ever going I noticed the cashier behind didnt have a mask on or the guy that was he was helping he didnt have one on. There was no distancing inside the building. and the price was high just to have them just check out the lawn mower for something really simple if I had the tools I do it myself. The guy that assisted me was nice.the thing is $30 to hold your item and then $90 an hour for repairs to work on it. Thats too steep of a price.
Stopped in after the big November storm, they stayed open later than normal Im assuming to meet the demand. Salespeople were a big help and had me out the door with my first brand new snowblower ever in less than 20 minutes. On top of great service I enjoyed the pride of shopping local verses a big chain store.
Friendly, always helpful, knowledgable, they repair and/or sell parts. Easy drop off and pickup, quick and helpful. Special orders for items related but not in stock. Worth the slightly farther drive from my area. Repairs and parts on all makes and models, as far as I can tell.
Wayne Lawn and Garden is the most friendly and knowledgeable company I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Their customer service and parts department people will go above and beyond to take care of what ever your needs may be. That definitely wasnt the case on that visit, you had a new employee that asked for help right away. I didnt leave the store until the 2nd time and after approximately 15 minutes total of no help and being the only person in the store. I tried to just delete this review it wouldnt let me, being a business owner myself I feel for the fact others impact your business and reputation which is why I have revised this and removed the reviews i could.
Purchased a Stihl trimmer very friendly sales person and knowledgeable did not try to sell me something I didn’t need. I have to update this to a 1 Star I did buy the trimmer then took it home it was missing part to install the handle. I then found out that the promotion that I was told was over would be honored by another Stihl dealer. Then the salesman asked if I promised to not buy anything there again and I will gladly keep that promise.
These guys are great! If you have a problem they are top notch professionals. They do what ever it takes to fix it. Great products and great service. And they have been around as long as I Can remember. Bought my first mower from them in the late 80s. I wont go anywhere else.
I wanted to get a used mower at a fair price. I went to Home Depot and theirs were too high (albeit they only had current year models). I went to Wayne Lawn and not only got a good deal but they were very helpful in educating me on the different models. I spent $200 (out-the-door) on a top model that was just fixed and barely a year old.
In response to your concerns, perhaps you need to discuss what, or how your services/packages are offered with your team member(s), as NONE of what you mentioned was explained/or offered. I was told that my purchase was THE LAST ONE; No other explanations were giving EXCEPT how to start, reverse, fold & store. (Which was not needed, but appreciated) With that being said ( If you were in my shoes, what would you think?). As I stated before, I made no fuss because 1.The gentlemen was older , 2.There was no point in calling if my situation appeared/seemed to be an dishonest transaction.
When I found myself in need of a new Skag mower, the folks at Wayne Lawn and Garden were a great help. Im the customer that asks a thousand questions about every product that even resembles the one Im looking at. Lots of research to keep my buyers remorse to a minimum. Ryan was understanding and very attentive. He helped me to find the perfect replacement, a Cheetah with a 37 hp motor and 60 deck. They set it up and leveled the deck perfectly. It cuts better than anything Ive ever used.I checked out dealer pricing from Ohio to Holt MI. None could beat WLGs deal. I strongly recommend that you check them out for your next purchase. Ryans the best and its nice to see the owners involved on the sales floor as well. Great business great experience!
The gentleman who helped us was very knowledgeable and extremely kind and friendly. My only issue would be that there was a lady yelling at someone in front of all the customers. That should be done in private. However I will continue doing my business with Wayne Laen
Wayne Lawn & Garden are absolutely great. 👍 👏 My husband and I had a weed wacker/trimmer the housing broke and the internal parts fused together. We went to a number of Harware Stores and no one could or would help us. In the end, we went to Wayne Lawn & Garden and they assisted us right away and solved the problem. Great Company, the gentleman that helped us, said he had his Wheaties today. Kudos!!!! We are truly grateful....
Usually dont post comments, but felt obligated to share with other customers. For those who are happy, great. My situation, I took 2 push mowers to Wayne Lawn and Garden in the fall after mowing season. I let them know I changed oil and plug in both units and both had same issue, stalls under load. I told them no rush since they were in mode of working on winter equipment. Apparently they were trying to contact me (phone issue and purchased new to retrieve messages) so I made arrangements to pick them up. I paid in full and took a very long time to get them ready. Well, I only left with one. The other would not start! Hmmm? I made another trip to pick up when they called and it started. I asked if it stalls under load. They said, we have no way to verify. So I asked how they knew it was okay? They said you have 30 day warranty! I said that wouldnt do me any good since there wont be no grass to mow. Well, my mower is in same condition, starts but stalls under load. Very dissatisfied especially giving them just under $100.00 each and they changed oil and plugs!

Not only that, as they say, ‘We service what we sell!’I heartily agree.I like to review my equipment purchases here because I know I am going to get quality goods and services. I prefer to provide this company as a reference to my professional associates as well as to family and friends.It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The outside is kept neat and orderly during all seasons. In fact, that’s a positive point by itself that I appreciate. It’s great to see a company like this take personal pride in what they are doing. The inside is everything you would expected from experienced professionals. Presentation and displays are kept up. Brochures are kept up to date.The most important aspect of this place, like any well run establishment, are the people who work there. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and informative. Walked in at 5:55pm with 3 chainsaws and the guy at the counter knew exactly which chain I needed for each, didn’t even need the book. The guy who pulled them gave me the chisel tip chains for each didn’t even have to ask. I was in and out so quick. I’ll definitely go back as I didn’t have a chance to actually look around. But from what I saw it’s kept clean and organized.
Love my new Scag 61, 31 Kawasaki engine. All the staff were so helpful and patient with the purchase. Junior was awesome with custom fitting a new seat !!! Great experience, great demo program wnich allowed me to make a educated calculated decision on purchase of Scag Cheetah!! Other zero turn demowed Gravely, Scag Tiger Cat, XMark...
I needed repair on my John Deere L155 mower steering. They came and picked up my mower which has a $40 charge, and I didnt mind that. They told me it would take about a week to repair. They had my mower for nearly 3 weeks and charged me to bring it back, I was a little upset about the length of time it took them to return it and once again I was okay with the delivery charge. I went to mow my lawn again the steering still didnt work. I called them back and told them it wasnt fixed and they wanted to charge me to pick it up again again and maybe they would warranty it. I was pretty positive they would end up not warranting it. Its also worth mentioning they charged me 375$ for a 25$ part. They are the reason I am leary of local business. Complete rip offs and I tell anyone that will listen about it. Terrible business just skip them while you can!
Called to see if they had a oil drain hose for a older Dixie Chopper gave them the part number and was told the part wasn’t made any longer but they had after market ones so I drove forty five minutes there then was told they didn’t have those. Won’t be getting my parts there anymore
They charged me to replace a pull string and spring it took them 3 days. The only problem is I wanted to fix my pull string from snagging they charged me a little over $40. for a $1 part and still wasnt fixed. So went back the second time and they gave it back same problem still not fixed. But other than that they have been pretty good at getting repairs done without a long wait.
Parts counter employees could care less if you are standing there or not. I did not even get a hello. It was a what do you want. They are too busy playing on their phone (even the old guys) to even notice that you walked up. They seem like they hate their lives. I only buy parts here if I have to have it now, otherwise I buy it online.
The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable in their products. I have been coming here since i moved to the area 6 years ago. They have always given me great advice and helped me get my equipment fixed in a quick and timely manner. I have referred many friends and will continue to refer all my friends to these guys. None of them have every had any complaints, and always taken care of us.
I was impressed that they picked up my John Deere within an hour of calling. I asked them to Repair and Service EVERYTHING my mower needs. My drive belt was broke and my mower motor was loose from the frame , my blades way beyond needing changed. I want to tell you they repaired and serviced everything PERFECTLY....ACCEPT for 2 things (my reason for a 2 star rating) they had my John Deere 1 day short of a month....(way too long) and when they tightened the motor it broke the motor mounts and pulled away from the exhaust...causing it to be so LOUD I couldnt stand to use it. I didnt mind paying $380 but when I asked them to do something about the noise that this was NOT fixed...they made excuses and sent the ole man out to talk to me, even worse when I turned away for a minute in turning off the mower , so I could HEAR...he went TO talking to my boyfriend ...like I wasnt there...blowing me off. Now I dont mind paying for repairs and I understand doing one repair may cause another...but dont treat me like I am a woman making up things or like because Im a woman Ill talk to the man with her....I am the customer to this mower...you disrespected me and sent me home with a mower that wasnt totally fixed. I had to have someone else fix what you said wasnt a problem. WHICH COST ME another $60 ....Remember this.....the ☝️customer is your business life blood, and the❤ CUSTOMER is always right!Next time I will go elsewhere.
I was excited that this place is right down the street from my daughters school real convenient for me cause my 15 year old Sears mower is on life support. Had this place locked into my phone for 1 week b4 going. Got there at 8:30 and they were not open so i waited at Home depot. Finally got in was THE ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE. Two guys at the counter. I walked around the zero turs 2 times 3rd guy comes out. I guess I didnt look like i had any money, or maybe they did not like my TAN 😐. No one said a word to me. So i gave them a second chance cause they might have been really busy. I walk out very slow, they just look at me. O well i came to buy a zero turn and got treated like a zero. I guess I will take my money to where its wanted.
I really like this place.....my 2nd visit this time. Both times I bought what i came for. First time, a Stihl Weed whip and the 2nd time a Stihl pole trimmer. These guys know their stuff.....Girls too. Everyone here is super helpful. I will most definitely be back. Already got my eye on different attachments for my pole trimmer! Wayne Lawn is Awesome!
Pretty upset with you all. Year ago bought engine for my log splitter, ran bad,returned it, said I had bad gas. Ran 1 hour did same thing. Purchase Harbor freight engine, been fine sense then. Purchased salt spreader, basically had to rebuild it, replaced bolts & washers holding it together, changed your 1/4 belt to the 1/2 that should have been on it. Last but least yes three strikes your fired. Bought a whole pallet of rock salt, turned out to be powder salt. Dennis I know one thing, you better quit dealing with the cheapest companies or suffer the consequences sir. Sign lost customer
I bought I Gravely Pro turn Z mower and it came damaged where you select the position of the deck. Wayne Lawn & Garden was amazing and provided great customer service to address the issue. They let me use the damaged mower until they replaced it and after a few weeks they brought the new machine. Dont even want to give one star,this place only gave me parts when i brought my poulon edger to be repaired.and only told me what it could be but never once said Ill take a look at it and see.so sad and people wonder why you go to the big names like wiengartz.better customer service their by far,trust me drive the distance!!
Very very bad customer service they charged $100 for a simple oil change before I did the oil change they told me it will cost around $40 when i came to pick up the machine they were asking for $100 there was a missing parts from my machine when I picked it up I do not recommend this place to anybody

2022-04-01This is the only place I shop for my outdoor needs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they offer a wide range of excellent products and services. I’ve purchased many products from Wayne Lawn and Garden for both summer and winter and am very happy with everything. They are also able to provide repair and annual maintenance services on my tools. The customer service is impeccable from order through delivery. They go above and beyond to meet and accommodate your needs which is very rare these days. They delivered a snowblower to me during a blizzard outside of work hours. I would highly recommend them for all your outdoor needs.

2022-05-13Place is the best came in at 330 to just drop my chainsaw off because couldnt get the blade to stay on . Figured Id have to wait a wk or 2 to get it back. They opened it up to look at it realized I had a damage blade , grabbed one of new ones I had showed me how to get it on and sent me on my way 20 mins later. Talk about service.

2022-02-23Wanted to get a new snowblower after 25 years of use on my old dependable toro unit. Wayne lawn showed me the new units the popular ones and gave me trade-in money for my unit.they were knowledgeable on the different units asked me how I was going to use the unit. Very nice experience.

2022-04-20Worst most unprofessional company my family and I have EVER dealt with! Took our lawn mower to be fixed a year ago. After countless times of calling and wondering when it will be dropped off after they picked it up we find out we will have to now figure it out ourselves because they don’t have drivers. We dropped this mower off a year ago and had to pay for a lawn service, now we will have to pay for a Uhaul to get our mower back. I understand the staffing shortages but that excuse can only go on for so long. All of this time and extra expense. It does not take a year to fix a mower staffing shortage or not! Also I am sure you will reply back rudely like you do with every other person who leaves a bad review which is unsurprising from a company who lacks customer service skills and class like yours does.

2022-02-08If I could give less than zero stars I would!! They fixed my less than 1yr Toro Blower WITHOUT EVEN SPEAKING TO ME!! CLAIM THAT WHEN WE DROPPED IT OFF WE SAID IT WAS THE BELT(WHICH IS WAS) but I did not find out until AFTER they fixed it. They never contacted me except to tell me it was ready! When I questioned their practice/protocol they said we didnt ask them to call and since we said it was the belt it was treated as a repair. Smdh..NEVER AGAIN

2021-12-04Ive been dealing with Wayne lawn and garden since 2006. Bought my first commercial machine from Dennis senior. Now I deal mostly with Dennis Junior.Both men offer a fair price and stand behind their product.Everyone has something to sell. Its the personal touch that Dennis provides that keeps me coming back
