Comment: I recently had Weldtec install their 2 Altitude lift kit on my 2023 Ford Transit AWD 3500 camper. I also purchased the Method Race 901 wheels with Toyo AT3 tires in 215x85x16. The total lift turned out to be 3.5 although the technician said the suspension will probably settle out to about 3 in time. This entire purchase and installation went smoothly and on schedule, and I was impressed with Weldtecs professionalism and attention to detail. They re-torqued the wheel nuts after alignment, for example, and provided me with a printed summary of their pre-delivery testing. The 2 lift kit isnt a radical departure from stock, but the vehicle, particularly with the black wheels and offroad tires, looks a good deal leaner and meaner than stock. The van drives smoothly, and Im no longer dragging my running boards on rutted and pot-holed roads.

Comment: I had Weldtec install the 4 Adventurer Lift Kit with progressive leaf spring on my Class C(Entegra Odyssey 25r). Wow BIG difference! My motorhome handles and drives like my daily driver/SUV. Prior to the install, I had already install some of the band aid fixes to help with the white knuckle driving. It did help some, but still had the issues with dragging and overall stability on the road. So glad I went with Weldtec! Their staff provided an awesome experience from drop off to pick up.

Comment: I got a weldtec designs 6 inch lift on my Rv (2022 Thor chateau). It is night and day difference in driving it!! It feels like I am driving a truck and not a motorhome. I used to HATE driving it, now I love it. I dropped it off Monday morning and picked it up Thursday afternoon. I cannot recommend these guys enough, go do it! You will not regret it.Update 3/29/24: I drove my rv through 50 mph winds coming home from the desert, I barely felt it!!!! Get this kit for your rv!

Before it was a challenge with the sway and going over bumps or rough roads was terrible. Buying it second hand I knew I was in for some upgrades but this was so so worth it. Comment: Awesome company, great products and support.I ordered and installed their Off Grid 6 lift kit for my 2023 Jayco 30z Class C RV. Parts are very well made, instructions were spot on and the handling improvement is amazing. The added benefit of better ground clearance is icing on the well made cake.Windy narrow roads, big rigs going by and rough roads are no longer an issue. The more miles I drive the better I love this kit.This should be the first thing anyone owning a Class C should add to their vehicle. The drive to get there is now enjoyable. Also Wife Approved, mine indicated its the best money we have ever spent.

Our RV handles great and looks awesome - can’t wait to head cross country this summer.UPDATE 02/28/23: We ended up doing just about 10k miles and 36 states on that first trip. Weldtec didn’t do our install, so it took us a little while to get everything dialed in. Once it was all set though it was a *world* of difference. Obviously our goal was to get off grid as much as we could with a 2WD rig, and it performed flawlessly. Definitely more capable than I expected. What I didn’t expect was just how much better the highway road manners would be. It doesn’t make sense that a lifted truck would handle better on road than it did stock, but that is the absolute truth. It tracks better, corners batter, everything better. This is how RV’s should be delivered from the factory. It’s not rocket science. With the weldtec kit with full progressive springs you finally have a suspension that’s actually designed to have such a big heavy rig riding on it. We did the 4” kit and also moved up to 235/85r16 tires. It took a tiny bit of trimming, but they fit great. My only suggestion is to just go ahead and do the 6”. I was afraid it would end up too heavy, but I was completely wrong. It’s great.

Comment: I waited 2 years to do my review of the 6-inch lift with steering stabilizer. Since then, I have taken my 2019 Thor Class C (23U) to some places I don’t believe it would have gone prior to the modification. I now have the Falken Wild peak AT3 235/85-16s installed and have increased my clearance 7 inches on average (measured to the top of the wheel well). I would have to say the best thing about the modifications is the ride and driving quality is 1000 times better. It not longer pulls from side to side on every small rut on the interstate and washboard roads are a breeze to travel. Body roll is significantly improved also. Jeremy and his team were helpful, friendly and kept us informed throughout the process. I travelled to his shop from UT to have the mod performed and am very pleased with the result. I would whole heartedly recommend having your mod done on-site in El Cajon, CA.

Comment: I put hydraulic levelers on my RV years ago and eliminated many places because they hung down too low.The 6lift kit from Weldtec, shipped from California to Vancouver Island, got me back out on the out back roads....catching the big fish!I am amazed how much better my RV rides! I am amazed at the back roads I can now freely drive down! The sideways sway is GONE! Comment: I purchased the 5” complete performance kit for my 7.3 e350. Let me start by saying overall this is a great quality kit. The problem I ran into was the extra weight of the diesel motor was too much for the springs and shocks that come in this kit. The front or my van settled almost 2” after being installed for a year. Left the van sitting stink bug with not enough wheel travel. The front part of the kit is spec’d out for the lighter gas engine models and it works awesome for that application. The rear springs are specked out for the weight of the rear axle witch is great and also worked good. The kit is the best 2wd kit on the market. But if you have a diesel motor I’d reconsider.

Comment: Ordered a 3” lift for my Chevy express 3500 and must say that these lifts are the best you can buy. Component quality and ride quality are noticeably improved over stock. Was a little difficult to find a trusted shop to do the install in Austin, but I went with Texas Truck and Trailer and they knocked it out the park. When they had questions, Weldtec was readily available to assist. Both companies were great to work with and the van looks and performs awesome.The reason for 4 stars is because the mini fenders didn’t fit. They have different tabs and even look different than the pictures on the weldtec website. I’ll be returning those. Good news is I was able to run the wheels and tires I wanted with the stock fenders so no big deal.

Comment: We had a 6” Baja Grocery Getter kit installed on our 2022 Entegra motorhome at Weldtec. All of the work was performed exactly to the schedule promised. Since I needed to drive from Utah to El Cajon for the service, Alyssa even recommended a camp spot the night before my scheduled appointment. The on-road performance is greatly improved and the added clearance allows us to camp in our favorite Utah mountain and desert spots. The kit comes at a cost, but it SIGNIFICANTLY improves the usability of our motorhome. We couldn’t be happier with the improved performance and capability of our motorhome!

Comment: Had a 6” lift, new front bumper, and black grill installed on our 2019 Coachmen Leprechaun in 9/2021. Jeremy and his team were incredible. They kept saying how great this would drive after the lift and WOW they were so right. It’s not even the same truck. Curves in the road, no sway. Wind... what wind? 18 wheelers passing... what 18 wheeler? And best of all are those washboard dirt roads are now like driving on asphalt. Comment: I had the 5 inch lift kit with custom lead springs done on my 2004 Roadtrek 190 Popular earlier this month. In my opinion its worth taking a trip and having Weldtec install the lift kit vs paying shipping and finding a local shop who may or may not do a good job installing it. My van was done in about 26 hours and although its a pricey lift I think it was money well spent. My van drives even better than before the lift, handles rough roads better, doesnt feel top heavy and no more worrying about tearing up my plumbing/fiberglass side skirts. Weldtec also didnt try to nickel and dine me/upcharge me/try to sell me additional things. Highly recommend them and this kit for your Roadtrek/Chevy Express.

I felt very comfortable with his advice, products and service. My 1989 Econoline Falcon drives like a dream with complete suspension upgrade. The rear custom bumper is tops compared to major manufacturers of aftermarket bumpers. I cant go anywhere with out someone drooling over her. Comment: To start Ill explain why we wanted to lift our 23CB Freelander motorhome. Our RV was very low to the ground. It was hard to get in and out of most driveways, i.e. to get gas or park, without hitting the drag bars in the rear. Also, the dump tank lines could hit the ground unless I went at a 45 degree angle up some driveways. Some dump stations were higher than my valves, so I had to drive to more places to find a place to dump.I researched on the Internet to find some one that could do the job of lifting this RV, similar to the way I did 50 years ago on my Jeeps. Over time I called many places in multiple states to get information on how they would perform this kind of work. None gave me the needed answers until I called Weldtec Designs.I was amazed that the lady that answered the phone, Alyssa, knew about the problems I was dealing with. I asked some very technical questions (ones the other places didnt explain and just gave an answer such as, Dont worry well take care of it). Alyssa answered my questions, which were about things I knew had to be dealt with to put a lift on this unit. She gave me the location of short YouTube films to watch of their procedures and parts. No one else I contacted did this.Alyssa told me they could have it done in two to three days. I had thought about doing the work myself, but if I were to buy the parts and do it myself in my shop, at my age, it would probably take months. I made an appointment in the spring to incorporate a vacation trip as Weldtec was about 1200 miles away.When we arrived at their shop, Alyssa was waiting outside and checked the items that needed to be done prior to their work, which we had already done. We left the RV with Weldtec. We had previously arranged for a rental car and motel (quite reasonable in El Cajon) and went sight seeing while the work was performed. Jeremy, the owner and person in the videos, made sure of each detail of the work and that the RV was properly aligned. (Make sure cabinet doors and drawers are latched, because it goes for a test drive.)When we saw the finished RV, it was a beauty! It looked great with lots of ground clearance. Then Jeremy said, Lets go for a ride, and had me drive. He guided me to the highway where we drove a few miles. What a ride compared to the past! The steering was so much more solid; the ride smoother.To top off the ride he took me down a gravel road with many bumps and holes. In the past I had to creep down a road like this so I hesitated. He said, Dont worry just go. I did. I was amazed. Then it was the big test, a driveway into a gas station. I approached the dip of the driveway and planned to make an angle approach from habit and started to slow way down. Again he said, Just go. I did. Wow! We made it just fine.We now have a much better RV. On the way home we drove out in the desert a couple times, enjoying our new freedom.I can not say enough about the way Weldtec explained things, were always ready to answer my questions on the phone, and helped us through the whole process including storing our refrigerated food while the RV was worked on. And Jeremy went with us during the test ride! Our thanks to Alyssa for answering so many questions on my phone calls, and to Jeremy for a great job that made our RV wonderful to drive.

Comment: I gave them a call like a month in advance to schedule the install of a complete performance kit in my E350. I stoped by in the morning the day we agreed on and I was blown away by their awesome customer service and approachability. While waiting, we were able to hangout in a room with fast internet and we were even able to shower, it really felt like home. The best part is that I was expecting the job to be completed in 2 days, the first for the install and the next for the alignment. They did it in ONE day which got us some extra travel time :).So I drove in the morning with a van that was driving really bad, wondering all over the road and came out the same day with a van that drives better than any new truck.. this thing really handles amazing and it gets better the faster you go.Im totally satisfied by their service and product, I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their suspension, Weldtec design are serious people that get the job done fast and right while making you feel at home, Ill definitely come back for some more upgrades in the future.PS ->- The brewery around the block is pretty good, they also have food trucks everyday.- You can overnight on the street or right out the fence, but since there are several garages around for big trucks and busses it gets pretty loud after 4am.

Comment: I had a very interesting and challenging problem. My younger brother is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corp. He has worked his butt off to protect this country, traveled the world and loves the SoCal lifestyle for surfing and off-roading. His Van was 10 years old and has never been right with respect to Ford ESC and the life of the wheel bearings. He had done some research and found the WeldTec site and all their great work. He wanted to redo his van with their custom radius arms and bent I-Beams. The issue was he was in Florida for Duty, both his older boys just went into the Corp and he was working 15 hour days for our safety. He reached out to me and I contacted Jeremy at WeldTec to help make this project work for my brother, his tight schedule and be reliable. WeldTec went above and beyond. They built up complete I-Beams, loaded them up with Spindles and brakes. Found all the brackets used parts he would need taht may be missing from teh old conversion. Basically made it an almost bolt on operation. My brother was able to do the project in a day and a half at the Base hobby shop!! It all worked and fit as designed. Has never felt or driven better!It was just fantastic service, quality and execution. Would not go anywhere else for custom Van Off-Road equipment and customization. Pretty sure they do more than vans, but they have that dialed in. I was able to pay for it, they direct shipped and I could gift my brother a safe, reliable Van to carry him and his family to the next base or duty. Cheers to WeldTec. Jeremy, Aaron and Alyssa and the rest of the team were so very helpful in making this a positive experience for me. The van drives and performs so much better than before! I did my research before choosing WeldTec and I feel that this is the best suspension system on the market for these vans.
