This is the slowest drive thru experience I’ve ever had. Spent 20 minutes in the drive through only to get stuck in line and not be able to get out. Finally got out after waiting 20 minutes and I will never ever go back! I swear you’d think I was waiting for a 5 star lobster meal. I wouldn’t even pay these people to clean the dog droppings from my back yard! Worthless.
As far as fast food goes were all familiar with Wendys. They rank among the top couple choices in the fast work. We wont mention the competitors. Wendys is an Old Classic and most people do like the food, as it is no doubt better than most other fast food joints. Not sure how they became so famous for the whole dip your fries in your frosty thing, but it happened. Yes a frosty is different than a chocolate shake from the other place and yes the fries are different as well. Maybe my pallette isnt as refined as other peoples. But Ive never seen or even heard of someone dipping fries in a chocolate shake from anywhere else. Could someone else explain this to me?
Just went through the drive thru and what a horrible experience from start to finish. First pulled up and sat for 4 minutes or so before someone even said anything. I place my order, it was 12.13. I had the guy $15 and a lady who looked very lost handed me a receipt and 87 cents. I said I just gave the guy $15 (10 and a 5). He walks around asking the lady “I didn’t give you two dollas?” and the door shuts, then she walks up and gives me my changes and doesn’t say a word. I drive off and my beverage was warm and only 70% full and had no ice. The burger was barely warm and very over cooked like it’s been sitting out for awhile. I will not be returning to listen location.
Ive eaten at this location many times in the past year and everything is always fresh and hot, mistakes are very rare, within reason they are very quick, and most of the time they seem to be not hating working there, which says to me that they have excellent management.
Bad customer service from the young lady who was taking orders at 915 pm. She had a a very unpleasant attitude. Customer service was bad that her supervisor finished my order. The only reason why I am giving 2 stars is because the supervisor was very pleasant. He saved the day!!! Great job on his part!! The young lady on the other hand need not be in customer service with such an unpleasant attitude.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I spent 20 minutes in the drive through only to be told at the window to hold on a minute (I held for five minutes) she came back on the speaker said we only have fries and fried food, Ill be with you in a minute. She couldnt of mentioned that when she first said hello? Its terrible customer service. Also, What type of self respecting fast food burger place runs out of burgers? Dave Thomas would be ashamed.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Too busy rushing orders and not putting everything in the bag that was requested, even after asking what I wanted. Then I go back and get my son’s ranch and ketchup (I literally had to drive back and get it and I only did that BECAUSE MY SON ASKED FOR IT), no apology for my inconvenience or anything. Just dry handed me my stuff. If you don’t like your job, QUIT! And stop trying to ruin everyone else’s day with your misery. It be your own people, and yes I’m talking about black people right after black history month...UGH!
Omfg!!! Their breakfast is EV VER REE THANG! I meant at this point I feel like McDonalds and BK are are obsolete. They definitely came through with the freshly fried seasoned potato wedges instead of the bland hash brown patties and tots. I’m here for it. AND this Friday and Saturday the honey butter chicken biscuit meal is FREE!
I havent been to Wendys in a while and having seen their latest advertisement for the Maple Bacon Chicken sandwich I was lured back. While the sandwich was pretty good, I had the spicy chicken which rounded out well with the sweet Maple sauce, the fries were terrible bringing down the experience.Also their medium combo is like a large+ from other places.Overall the new Maple Bacon Chicken is worth a try but Wendys PLEASE do something about those fries.
Stopped in for a lite lunch for my wife and I. Got the biggie bag: 4 chicken nuggets, bacon double cheeseburger, medium fries and a small drink. They also have free coffee on Sundays!!! Winnah!!! Wife had the nuggets, I ate the burger, we split the fries, she had coffee and I had a raspberry ginger ale. VERY CORDIAL MANAGER!!! Wed go back in a minute when he is working. Unfortunately, we didnt get his name. Shoulda checked his name tag. He even went so far as to brew a fresh pot of coffee for us!!! Food was hot and very tasty!!! Cant beat this one for service!!! Stop in sometime!!!
Big Wendys fan,I frequent these stores all over the US for the menu selection and food quality but Im going on a little rant. Our crews visited this store for lunch,viewed neck and face tattoos along with piercings of the face during lunch. Employees were zombie like and not very clean along with dinning area. Is this the trend we are going to? Certainly hope not. I totally understand the shape this countries work force is in but I hope some standards will be applied for the application process.
First of all its a Wendys that we probably all know, but their food quality is excellent oh, they have never messed up an order in all the time Ive been there, but sometimes the drive-thru is a little too slow. It seems that they dont staff the place with as many people as they need for a fast food restaurant at certain times. That is my reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. I do want to make it clear its not the employees who arent trying hard its that they need a few more employees.
Food was good, and the staff was pleasant to interact with, but with a broken receipt printer, no ice in the fountain machine, at least one flavor in the fountain machine is out, the sticky and dirty floors, the sticky counters, the crumbs all over the windowsills, the oddly crooked lighting hoods, and the dirty bathrooms, I unfortunately cant recommend coming here to eat. All of those things are easily corrected. Im just not into eating at dirty restaurants. :( Deducted 2 stars for cleanliness, and 1 star due to the broken aspects and giving me french fries instead of apple bites as the food became cold while sitting uncompleted for 4-5 minutes.
So my husband ordered 3 four for fours with a couple modifications, and an additional fry. Paid for them and everything. He didnt check the bag. He got home, the extra fry wasnt in the bag and the sandwiches were all regular. No modifications made. Thankfully no one is allergic to anything. But I called the store right after. The girl who answered the phone was okay. She went to her the manager and I heard the manager say, why did you answer the phone. I held the phone for 15 minutes before hanging up...just to see if they would actually answer. Of course not. Pretty sad. All they had to do was come to the phone and acknowledge the mistake. Yup. Lost a customer.
This location is ok but tends to move extremely slow. Also, the workers are hit or miss. A few are nice and most act like you are bothering them. Also, sometimes I get just a piece of plain grilled chicken and an iced tea when I’m watching my calories. This location is the only location to tell me that if I wanted just the grilled chicken that I’d have to pay the price for a sandwich. That they couldn’t just ring up chicken. But every other Wendy’s I’ve ever been to has done it for me. It’s like under 3 bucks, compared to 5. If they don’t know how to ring something up, they should just ask their manager or a coworker.
Worst Wendy’s ever. I came it at 11am on Saturday during my half an hour lunch break. I stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes. There was no workers in sight. Even after saying “HELLO!?!” kind of loudly, no one showed up. Finally a younger girl walked out from the back, she was on her big pink cell phone, looked at me, held a finger up and told me to wait, as she turned around and walked away. A minute or so later, an older man came out with a headset on and told me that someone would be with me in a minute. Now.. about 10 minutes of my half an hour lunch has passed. The same guy ends up taking my order... very slowly. There’s still no customers besides me. Not even in the drive thru. I get my food which the guy has to make himself because the girl is still talking away and laughing on her big pink cell phone. I sit down to eat.. dump my fries on to my tray to see they aren’t even half done. Some are still raw. Now there are like 6-7 people in line so i just at my sandwich (which was somehow hot and fresh and good) and just left.This isn’t the first time I’ve complained about this Wendy’s and have even called the help number. I don’t know why I go back. It’s like i wait long enough to forget how bad the service is, then want Wendy’s and then get reminded why I should never go to this Wendy’s.If you own this store... you should take ownership and go in and fire people. $15 an hour eh!? Lol!
Auburn Hills Wendys on Opdyke. Girl behind counter was super nice but needed a thumb print to activate the register. She asked the manager and the response was its going to be a while. Granted she was busy filling a drive through order but then disappeared into the back. Even the girl at register responded really? I walked out as well as others at the counter. Idea for the owner of this location... make counter girl manager and use current manager to clean toilets and grease traps unless you want to lose all you customers. I went to KFC. In spite of construction they were friendly and professional. Doubt Ill be going to this Wendys anymore. I was a 1-2 night a week customer
Slowest service ever. food is mid to poor quality. employees arent ever rude, but dont go out of their way to greet you either. I have had issues with this location in the past as far as food handling and how sanitary they are, however I went there today to use the restroom and to get a drink. I go in the womens rest room and there are 2 stalls. The first one has a bunch of toilet paper and feces clogged in it, looks like it has been sitting there a good week. most of it was dried out. I go in the next stall. As I am hanging my purse on the door I notice purple stuff splattered on the wall between the toilet and the wall. I look further and there is a pile of vomit on the floor that splattered up the wall. HOW DOES THIS GO UN NOTICED???? So, I leave the rest room with out using it and go to the counter to order my drink. I stand there for about a solid minute before I am greeted and place my order. The woman who took my order appears to be a manager..so I say are you the manager? were you just in the rest room? she says I am but I no I wasnt in there. I tell her what I found and she literally just goes on to take my order. I am appalled. If a backed up toilet and vomit on their bathroom floor is left because people are lazy, imagine what kind of contaminated, spoiled food they are serving. The only reason I go here is because it is near my job. only reason.
The fries were cold, and when I said something about it, the girl behind the counter was annoyed and complain to her co-workers that I had said something. She tried to cover it up when she gave me the fries, which I have to give her credit for at least trying to be courteous after she wasnt, but it was still unnecessary.
Sunday night July 7th I found a medium length dark hair in one of my double stacks. Absolutely disgusting, as I took a bite and immediately had it tangled in my mouth. Please note management this was between 10/1030 PM. They were slammed and the guy working said a woman ordered 12 burgers behind mine, but this is a health violation for sure. Owners or management please take note but I will never eat here again nor will my employees of a local office nearby.
Day shift service is terrible. Drive through had an attitude, forgot fry and spoon for chili, I went in to get it and stood for 5 minutes waiting for someone to approach, finally was helped and still everyone unhappy with an attitude and no sense of urgency. Also the chili wasnt at all as much as it should be ripped me off. Never coming to this Wendys again unless its the late shift their service has been excellent.
The service was excellent here. The only confusion here is which Lane to go through if you are using the drive thru, because Wendy and Tim Hortons drive thru lanes are next to each other and there is not a good distinction between the two lanes other than colors of the DRIVE THRU sighn which doesnt help much because they both use a shade of red which looks a lot like the same.Wendys is on the left and Tim Hortons on the right.
Waited 23 minutes in line. Clerk forgot part of my order and had additional wait. Plus, fries were cold, and had incorrect burger. I had order a double I received a jalapeno/bacon single. When I returned to restaurant clerk was snippy & insolent. Not a good experience.
The extra large bohemien of a women was chewing gum like a cow chewes her food. I got chicken nuggets was never asked for dipping sause. They tasted like rubber salted plastic and they were cold. I got chilli without sessoning. The the place is not fit for my dog. Floors greesy and dangerous. Bathroom had poop on the floor. This is by far the worst restaraunt i have ever been to. I and calling the city and health department. this is a healh violation .and should be closed. This is what happen when you hire teenagers. I am box lunchingFor now on. I dont want food poisoning
Employees were very unprofessional. My burger sat on the counter for 15 minutes before they decided to stop singing, dancing and screaming and give me my fries. When I asked for a fresh burger ALL the employees freaked out and started saying rude derogatory remarks. Very disappointed in my visit.

2022-04-19Place says they are open at 6am...... Nobody answering drive thru window and its 6:15am! Figured I would stop in here before I had to go to work at 6:30 but no one is here. Its sad too because they got really good food here. But if youre not going to open at 6 you shouldnt advertise at your open when youre not I dont care if people cant make it to work you find people that want to work and you pay them enough money to want to work. Thats why people are leaving so many jobs and high amounts because theyre sick of getting treated the way they do by their employers. So I dont really blame the employees. I blame the companys. One last thing I Googled to see what time they open it said they open at 6 but when I went to the window they said they dont open till 6:30. Clearly someone needs to update their schedule

2021-11-24Drive thu speaker was silent. I pulled ahead thinking it was broken. When I got to the window after waiting in line the girl refused to take my order at the window. I said I didnt hear anything at the window, she growled I said hold on! I said I didnt hear anything (I also said hello? Without response), so I pulled up and clearly I cannot back up as there were several cars behind me. She said, oh well, I cant take your order here. So I left without anything as I was not spending another 20 minutes in line. After working a 13 hour shift.-hungry covid nurse :(
