Wendys has always been a staple in fast food. Theyre known for their fresh beef and never frozen burger patties. Ill remain a customer because Ive rarely had a bad experience here. I absolutely love the Daves double combo with extra Mayo.The meals are ALWAYS good! Like ALWAYS. If youre not opposed to cheaper foods, try the four for four meals. You just cant go wrong.Customer service matches the quality of food. Wendys is a must go! Im satisfied in the freshness and Ill ALWAYS be a fan.Wendys get a ten in my rating.
I received extraordinary service from the employees after an order disappointment and miscommunication. I guess some dont know customer service will avoid anger. But the two managers were courteous kind and friendly and made up for the unruly one. Great outcome. Great comeback. Almost lost a customer.
Went to grab some food for the family and was very exited that I was the only person on line, placed my order and got to the window and saw all the food being cooked fresh in the fryer but I guess it was for someone else on the way. I order 6, 4 for 4’s and keep in mind I don’t live far from the location at all. Everything has to be warmed in the microwave but the drinks, that so sad. I’m in disbelief but I guess the Wendy’s standard has continued to decline. Another upset customer.
Their rude as all out doors. I waited so long for my food that i asked for fresh and they gave me cold food. I gave them the food back and said this isn’t what i asked for they say pull up. I do so and they had me waiting for at least 20 mins I wouldn’t recommend this place if a person was starving. The staff has horrible customer service skills and their not accommodating at all. If I could give zero stars I would. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.
The worst ever..... I was patiently waiting in the drive thru since 9:30 pm. At this time 2 cars was in front of me. Finally got to the speaker.... 10:04 pm. waiting waiting waiting. Hello Hello no one responded. There were at least 4 cars behind me. I drove to the window and was told by the mgr., they were closed. Now its 10:15 pm. I asked, it would be nice to let the customers in line know and the fact that at least 4 cars were behind me.
Whew the ghetto chile. The speaker barely works. They didnt have eggs. You always have to check your bag, they will give you the wrong order. Fast food nope. Probably better off hitting the coney island. At least you can pre order and go get your food. Much faster than this Wendys.
Fast food restaurants are no longer fast they must call it something else. Something more applicable than the label fast since the food is anything but... the fact that I am picking up an online order is pretty ironic as it is supposed to solve for the problem of what would otherwise be a long waiting line in a drive through. It is an inconvenient waste of time for all involved when a food delivery drivers order for pickup Is neither ready upon arrival to be picked Up North even started Nora can you go in side the restaurant to pick up the order or have it ran out by someone in the kitchen instead they make you sit in a drive to line that seems endless and leaves you idling in a car for 45 minutes.Making the customers wait longer making the delivery drivers wait longer nobody winds and the restaurant gets more and more backed up with each delivery driver who pulls into the drive-through and whose order isnt ready now mixed amongst the customers in the drive-through line ordering on the spot everybody waits and its contrary to anybody involved making any decent sort of money from the work they are doing.This is a long post but its ridiculous when you call the restaurant whose delivery instruction state in the of to delivery app to go inside for pick up quarter should be ready at the counter when you get there and the person who answers the phone at the restaurant tells you know get in a drive-through line and wait for the next 30 to 50 minutes for an order that should be ready when the delivery driver gets their.If I owned one of these restaurants I would be pistol but I am unable to make the amount of money I potentially could in A-day because my employees and management have no system in place to get food out fast and efficient its like throwing money down the toilet
Poor customer service I went here for lunch at 11am asked for chili around 11:11 am to be exact and the customer service rep stated it would be an hour until the chili was ready even though lunch starts at 10:30 the team member was notConcerned that their chili was not ready and alsoStated because i toldHer another Wendy’s said it would take 20 more minutes so i came to their store thinking it would be ready at this location alas it was poor attitude that a customer myself was dissatisfied with the service and poor time management of this team.
Waited in line for 20mins asked to customize my order number #9.they just made a bacon cheeseburger but paid $9.19 for a meal which is a ripe off.not to mentioned a Huge piece of lettuce and the most Disgusting iced cold fries Ive ever received. the lines are so long its not worth 20 plus mins to wait in the line just to get a replacement order. then to make matters worst Ive tired calling this store at least 20 times which is beyond Ludacris they might as well be cut off disconnected at this point.the doesnt ring it picks up and hangs up call unavailable.How do you conduct business like this? This one of few restaurants in the highland park city limits and by far the worst in this city.as a business owner conducting business in this manner will not last at all. especially if all the people come together complain and report this store needs a lot of help and training a whole new staff of people is needed.
First the drive through line was a half hour long then they didnt have anything I went there for chilli, chicken raps or chicken nuggets so I just ordered 3 Daves double meals the bill was $26. When I get to the window they said i only paid for one meal and two hamburgers I didnt want to deal with it so I just took what they gave me and Im glad I didnt get more fries because the one order I did get was inedible cold an soggy and the burgers where just as bad I will never go to this place again
My experience at this location today was OUTSTANDING. I came a few minutes after they opened. I ordered a medium #4, of course since they just opened I needed to wait on fries. The manager, Tia, came to the drive through window. Told me they were upgrading my fries to a large because of my wait. Not only did they upgrade my fries, they offered me a free frosty for waiting on a hot day. The staff is extremely nice, assuring their customers are satisfied and having a desire to return to that location. I highly recommend!!!!
With all the new renovations, I was hoping the place would have innovated their staff and services. When I was there I had to clean off my table. The other tables were not clean either besides the one the manager was sitting at giving an in store interview. This place forgot a drink. The employee was nice about it. I worked in a restaurant before and I always kept our store clean. You as an employee represent that store. If its not clean, that says a lot about the people working there.
My Nephew came up to wendys in Highland Park on 7/20/21 at 5:50 pm thru the drive thru no receipt was given..The cashier said they had no more receipts..26.17 was spent..Where is the Mgr..This is not good, Do I need to go to Corporate on your workers ..correct thi situation...
They have their bad days. But the best fast food restaurant in the area due to time of service, good customer service, and staff friendliness. Ive never had to pull up and wait until my food was done. They always give me my sauce with my nuggets lbvs.Update: they have gone from the best to being just like the rest. Wait times are horrible now. They have completely fell off.
The drive thru line wait time was the least of my worries. My bill was $16.94 paid with a $20 didnt get any change (ok fine). Get home ALL 4 of my orders was cold!! I wondered how when the line has been wrapped around since I pulled in, however I did notice several cars just leaving cause they was tired of waiting. I get my orders go straight home. Bite burger Patty and cheese cold screw it nuke it for a few seconds, bit into a fry COLD not a bit of warmness to them, biggest stale. I had to go back wait in line again get my order replaced before leaving I felt the warmth through the bag ate a fry ok great nice hot and fresh. Get home unwrap my burger top bunk hard as a brick. I give up, just wanted something to hold us over until dinner but ended being a waste of GAS, time , and money. Steve Taylor train your management and staff better you make more than enough to make sure your stores push out hot fresh food fast.
Yes, yes, yes. My favorite fast food burger establishment is having a promotion that Ive been longing for for years. Wendys now is offering a Daves single, 10 piece nuggets (regular or spicy), or a Spicy Chicken sandwich at 2 for $5.I love this offer because Im not crazy about fries unless they are straight out of the grease. This combo allows me to eat both beef and chicken in a quick and good format.Thanks Wendys for all that you do!
It was a great experience eating my meal there I enjoyed every minute I was there, the restaurant was clean the employees were quick and they were respectful and quite professional. I did not expect that experience being that it was in the same area as Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken where my experience there was painful and unrewarding the restaurants were unclean the employees were unprofessional slow and quite ghetto. The quality of the restaurant and standards were of how a fast food business should be m, I would recommend to others to go there and avoid BK and KFC all together.
Suprisingly fast during this pandemic and crammed drive thru lines. I pulled up with 6 cars in front of me at 12:12 and ordered and recieved my food by 12:20 and it was fresh. I was so ready to give up on the fast food experience until this order was lifted but wendys gave me hope.
Took over 10 minutes to get a 4 for $4 with only 2 cars ahead of me. The dude was trying to extract my order like it was an impacted wisdom tooth. I had modifications to make...Im not a straight off the menu type of person.After he got it right and it was accurate on the screen and all, they still had to remake my sandwich. On top of that they gave me a chocolate frosty...I ordered VANILLA!!! SMH
This is the 2nd time that Ive tried to eat from this particular chain of restaurants and wasnt satisfied with my food at all, not only was I not satisfied but, they didnt listen to the specifics of my order they made it how they wanted to make it, totally unsatisfied, they wont get a 3rd time to disappoint me and my taste buds plus my food was cold, its a wrap
My experience today was horrible. Front customer service young lady was very rude her and another coworker were talking about things that should of been talked about in private. I really think everyone should take a customer service class to learn how to speak to the customers, it seems a lot of workers bring their private life to work and take it out on the customers.
Cashier was very rude and hollered at me over the intercom when she could not hear me gave me a fake 20 in my change and did not want to exchange it until I asked for the manager also burger patty was tough and dry so I will not be returning to that Wendys on woodward and west grand in highland park
Food and drinks were good but the staff was very aggressive with each other and customers, serving people out of order, they nearly didnt give us drinks we paid for and still gave my brother the wrong drink and me the wrong size drink, but I dare not complain about it there. However, since we will never be back I dont really care anymore.
Note to the corporate offices, we understand that some products might be harder to get these days due to the pandemic. However, I have noticed that a couple of locations along woodward ave near the City of Detroit, that the food quality has decreased to an unsatisfactory level. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich from the locations in ferndale & in highland park along woodward avenue and they were both gristly. It was tough, flavorless, and was not satisfying at all. I understand that you are a multimillion dollar company, however just dont think that you can sell subpar food in urban areas and just think that people are not paying attention. You are better, than that please step your game backup.
Service was terrible I waited at the speaker for 30 mins after 15 mins of waiting I asked her “what’s the hold up and she screamed at me and said “I’m in shift change hold up!!” And I still had to wait another 15 mins after that and all for them to be out of taco salad and almost all the sauces smh.
Very disappointing experience...getting lunch for work family, ordered two 4x4s plus nuggets and two drinks were supposed to come with it. In the process of me asking for ketchup and salt (which are never in bag) the drinks were forgotten and I did not get a receipt. I called when I returned to work and asked what remedy could be achieved and was hung up on. This is the second time an item was forgotten at this store. As I live in HP, I would like to support businesses there but this is not cost or time effective for me. I would have given a 0 but unable.
Ordered the Apple Pecan Chicken salad. There were no pecans anywhere, way too much blue cheese, no chicken and everything was warm like it has been sitting out. Didnt have time to go back so I just threw it away, it was gross. Doubt I will go back to this location, it wasnt even busy at the time so idk how they made this big of a mistake.
It was ok, the few times Ive gone here. Due to location I dont frequent this place often but when I have its never been a long wait, never had a problem with the order and it was only in drive through so really no real contact with employee from inside. Ive never been inside.
It took us more than five minutes to explain what we wanted (we were in the drive-thru, and ordered a kids meal and their featured sandwich), and then they still didnt get our order right. The food was decent, but you asked me three times what kind of sauce I wanted, then there was no sauce in the bag. Cmon now.
This has got to be the worse Wendys restaurant in the State. My food order for an apple pecan chicken salad was missing the pecans and dressing. I was promised a salad for 1/2 off on my next visit. I went back to this Wendys a few days later to receive what I was promised only to find that they were out of apples! I went inside of the dinning area rather than the drive thru...there were flies crawling on the menu board above and on the counter. Im glad I went inside to see for myself the condition of restaurant. I definitely will not be back. They can keep the 1/2 off salad! No thanks. They should also do something about the individuals hanging out at drive thru speaker begging customers for money.
Swear I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Poor management, its filthy, messed up our orders, gave me a room temperature ass Burger, fries were TOO salty and burnt.! Tenders were burnt.! No one used gloves.! And the kitchen looked even worse.! And to make matters worse they had more time to talk to their friends (who werent employees, than focuse on making the right food 👎👎👎
I just ordered the new mozzarella salad and I got it with no croutons and the wrong sauce. Then as I was eating the butchered salad i found a long hair in my salad. If you think about it though hair itself is not unsanitary. That idea is a construct we have come up with. Still its not a texture I want to feel when eating my food...
The place was nearly empty (two other tables occupied) yet it took almost 20 minutes to get my order a single sandwich and baked potato. A woman who came before me simply got a refund and left rather than continue to wait. Every single table was dirty. When I asked at the 15 minute mark how much longer my food would be I was told they only had one sandwich maker.The kicker is that there was an employee on break in the dining area and four other employees running around the dining area and in and out of the back area horsing around with each other loudly. When I mentioned jt to the manager on duty she simply claimed they were not employees of that store.That may actually be true as some folks waiting in line knew the girl at the cash and the manager and were laughing that the cashier wearing the name tag Keirra is not Keirra while Keirra laighed right along with them. Which kinda sucks because Keirra was rude, impolite and loudly trash talking customers that were not at the counter sonif one of them did want to complain it would not fall on her shoulders but on Keirras.This location on this day was a complete disaster.
Service was unusually terrible...we are use to getting very fast and friendly service. This time after waiting 10 minutes in the drive thru no one took our order. I went in and there was no line, no food cooking and no one to take an order so I took my business elsewhere. The management must have changed bcuz the it has never been this bad before. Highly dissatisfied at best.
When you come here be sure you check your order and count your change. This location perpetually ruins orders. I can say this after coming here for more than 10 years and basically every order has been wrong. Either they leave out part of the order or they absolutely dont make the order as you requested. The reason that you come to Wendys is because you can get it supposedly the way you want it. Not here
Well, they renovated the place a few months ago, and there is a television screen inside. There is a tall, long table with high chairs perpendicular to the wall with that t.v. set on it.There is a long leather chair with several tables, as well as several pairs of leather seats with long tables, fit for four people.I sat on a medium high chair at a table of similar height to eat my two Junior Cheeseburgers and double chocolate chip cookie, and drink my small Coke.Disappointingly, the soda dispenser machine was out of not only Cherry Coke, but Cherry Soda, actually a Wendys specialty.I would still go to that location for anything else---I mean, theyre solid with their food. I wasnt able to purchase a baked potato to accompany my sandwiches due to financial constraints, and thats really unfortunate. I wish every burger place would begin selling baked potatoes, like Wendys. Theyre a comparatively healthy alternative to French fries.Im serious about that!
My family member order food at this establishment when I go every time to pick up the order its always long lines no matter what time of day it is I guess its a great place for people to eat and I love the customer service theyre very helpful and if they mess up a order they always make it right they do not put me through hassle to correct my order

2022-03-25I went to this location on March 15 in the early evening and I had wonderful customer service. Everyone who helped me with my drive-through experience was so friendly and thorough. Then I got home and started to eat and my food was perfect. Usually fast food looks like a sad version of the photos on the menu but as you can see here these were picturesque. Do whatever you can to keep these employees, this was my best Wendy’s experience of my life.

2022-07-13Never going here again. Thank Goodness I always check my food before eating it. Opened my sandwich and there was what a employee said was just a salad bug on my lettuce. I dont eat bugs!!! Got my money back and left. Need more adults working there to oversee that things are being prepared with care. This is the one on Woodward and Davison service drive.

2022-05-24CHECK. YOUR. FOOD!!! I had a big order, I know, but still, I was missing a burger from my biggie bag, we ordered cokes and got cherry coke! Since we are around the corner we order from time to time so we decided to take advantage of the promo on the cups, ALL THE QRS WERE ALREADY SCANED!! Next time I wont drive off until I check my complete order and people better not yell at me! Unbelivable.

2021-10-10Update; ordered from DD again, came from the same location. Ordered 2 sandwiches. One was completely missing and the other one was literally just bacon wrapped in paper. At least last time, they gave me bread. Ordered breakfast today from DoorDash and this is the location it came from. Ordered a baconator breakfast combo with potatoes and iced coffee, and a sausage, egg & cheese croissant combo with an oatmeal bar and coffee. Food came pretty quickly which I was excited about, but much to my chagrin; of course something was wrong with it. My baconator arrived as literally slices of bacon on bread. I kid you not. No egg, sausage or cheese. I have enclosed a picture in this review. I immediately contacted DoorDash, who contacted the store so they could re-order for me. They did, and the order was immediately cancelled because the the store is having “technical difficulties”, (whatever that means). Since I didn’t get a replacement order, I picked the bacon off of my depressing sandwich and ate it—it was surprisingly decent; so I guess there’s that.My potatoes were halfway empty. I didn’t get my iced coffee. Looking at the receipt; (picture also included), every single item that comes on both sandwiches was marked as “no”, as if I had omitted it. DoorDash doesn’t even give the option to do that, and the way it’s listed on the receipt, I should’ve only gotten literal bread. It makes no sense. I should also say the other combo I ordered was completely fine, even though everything listed there shows as omitted on the receipt.I have never been inside of this store, but I have been in the drive-thru and only out of sheer hunger & desperation; and it has been horrifically slow everytime.I’m still hungry ☹️

2022-07-07I had a DoorDash order to pick up in the lobby was closed but the lobby had at least five customers inside so another door dasher calls and they say they can let them in so I called back and the manager said the lobby was closed but I see customers walking out with food and they lock in the door back saying they close the lobby at 6 o’clock or so the manager who has a very hard name to pronounce I’m assuming it starts with a V says you have to go through this long drive-through line when they have people just standing around and inside

2022-03-12This Wendy’s will cheat you out your money. The charge on my card should have been $9. And some change. They charged me $21.92. The lady at the drive thur window said they were out of receipt paper. I was a fool something in the back of my mind told me something wasn’t right but I said it’s ok. Don’t go there they will cheat you out your money.
