I got charged however much it is for a dave’s double meal but i asked for the sandwich itself to be completely plain. so wouldn’t it make it something like a plain double burger? the toppings were off but the sandwich was absolutely smothered in cheese. on top of it, i asked for my drink to have no ice and once it was brought to the managers attention, her vibe and mood definitely changed (she looked at me and talked to me in a tone as if it was my fault). definitely won’t come back.
Placed a Seventy-eight dollar Doordash order, as we have been planning a funeral for a loved one and none of us have had much time to cook. One meal was missing, one Baconator had NO BACON on it. Two Jr. Bacon cheeseburgers had mustard on them. We had to drive across town to get the corrected items. James absolutely REFUSED to replace the jr. bacon cheeseburgers. The child we ordered them for wouldnt eat them because of the mustard on them. When we asked a final time, the drive thru window was slammed on us. We were not rude. Nor were we seeking free food, we simply wanted the items we ordered AS WE ORDERED them. This is hands down the WORST i have ever been treated by an establishment. Now I have to go home and make food for my child. We will not be back. You never know what people are going thru, a little kindness goes a long way. Thank you James, for making a difficult time even harder.
First, I dont do fast food often.Stopped in for a quick bite with my mother. She is wheelchair bound and i was incredibly shocked by the limited handicap access.Handicap parking (2 spots) behind the building.There is a very small (probably the minimum allowed by law) section in which a wheel chair can roll smoothly up onto the sidwalk.We ate in the car.There is a lovely area with 2 picnic tables to eat (not able to bring a wheel chair to that area without jumping the curb. This area is out in front of the building.The only trash can was just past the speaker, in the drive thru line, in the back of the building.I dont enjoy the touch screen ordering system either. Im not a huge germ-o-Phil but, the screen is a vertical breeding ground for germs! Haha.
One of the best, if not the best, Wendy’s I have ever been to. The food was outstanding. I ordered the 10 piece chicken nugget with fries and a frosty and the nuggets were crispy and the fries were hot. Not only was the food great, the service was top tier. There was one worker who was very nice and seemed to like her job. She was taking drive thru orders and was very kind to us. They also had a huge line and the staff handled it very well. If a manager is reading this review give said worker a raise, they deserve it. I strongly advise that you come to this Wendy’s if you are in need of food.
I havent lived in Traverse City since October 2014. I was in Traverse City for my daughters wedding. I really miss being there. But the reason Im here to rate Wendys. Its the same as I remembered. The service was quick. Cashier asked me to pull forward to wait for the fish sandwich 🥪🥪. They cook it fresh every order. I had no problem waiting. She was very nice. Keep up the great work!
I ordered the new bacon cheddar burger combo and was told I had to pick between a double or a triple that I am not able to order it as a single. So I ordered the double thinking I can peel off a burger and give it to my dog. Well he got both burgers because they were raw and red in the middle. At least the fries were hot.
Not sure what happened. Maybe due to covid they have to hire people who have no common sense. Customer service is gone. Simply asked why I was upcharged for drinks when they were out of small cups. Turns out the manager thinks we should get a job! If she even knew how many hours Ive put in...will not be back ever.
They routinely give us the wrong items or we are missing items entirely. The most recent order had baconator fries with added jalapeños. All we got were fries with jalapeños. No bacon, no cheese. The chicken sandwiches appear to be cooked but are extremely tough. When we call to complain the managers give us attitude. It’s not hard to get right. I’ve worked in fast food for five years. You just need a brain and eyes and to pay a little attention. I will be driving across town to their new location from now on.
Not only are the traverse city area Wendys filthy, the manager, Branden, is a nasty person. He treats the customers as if they are annoying him. Hes very condescending and rude. The help is constantly changing. I would rather have clean, polite, slow service than rude, sloppy, full of attitude service! That being said, he treats his co-workers even worse!
They really are fast and accurate too. Our food was hot and fresh.. The guy in front of us was really rude to the young lady working in the drive thru.. She seemed to be upset by what he said and in my opinion he was just being a D-bag. I tired to make her smile, even with the 😷 mask on I think it helped. If you cant be kind please dont try to make others feel bad, also maybe someone should tell him not be rude to the people who make your food. Thanks for a great lunch today we will be back.
We have gone 4 times this month, we have been double charged on a card and given cash, we have ordered breakfast twice and the forgot my Swiss sausage sandwich, twice. They forget to give sauces and service takes a long time. This Wendys never used to be this way. Food tastes amazing every time but the complications are getting irritating.
Do not order Door dash through them. They have no interest in fixing any problems that have when delivery is part of the process. We were missing food and had food incorrectly prepared. Whereas that is normally not a big issue, the compounded attitude recieved from the manager coupled with the non-interest in doing anything about it has earned 2 stars.Pretty bad stuff here
Exuberant manager greeted us with staff, burgers were hot and quickly served but fries were a big disappointment. They were soggy, oily, wrinkly shoe strings, like they were refried a second time. Too brown too. We were too exhausted to complain. My sugar cookie was a delicious delight
I wasn’t offered a receipt so I couldn’t verify my order or anything, but that being said, my strawberry lemonade was made wrong, I don’t know if they gave me the one from the coke machine or what, but I go to Wendy’s mostly for “fresh” strawberry lemonade and I was disappointed. Also my burger was so covered in ketchup that by the time I opened it, the bun was soggy and ketchup was sweeping out of the package. It cost me about $10 for a cheap not fresh strawberry lemonade and a burger that was soggy and dripping ketchup. I’m pretty disappointed and this isn’t the first time this Wendy’s has let me down like this. Bummer. Kid working was nice enough I guess even though he nearly forgot to give me my card back when I paid.
A lot has changed in this store over the last 15 years since I worked there! I liked the spicy chicken sandwich combo that I got, but the fries were still a little cold and tasted a little old, in spite of asking for them to be well done. The guy behind the counter mustve been new, because he had to ask us for the second order twice after he seemed to get lost in the register trying to input the well done instructions. Not a big deal, but he also had some kind of issue setting the register up to accept the payment and had to get the shift supervisor.I dont know who owns this store now, but it seemed to me that some of the employees might need a little extra training.
Very bad experience and this is not the first time. Waited in line for 45 minutes and was told to wait a couple of minutes when I got to the order box. When I got to pick up my food only one out of the five people in the kitchen was wearing a mask properly, when I brought this up to the two people at the window all I got was an ok. Not happy and will not be back .
Gross.My breakfast wasnt very good. The potatoes almost had a dried-out texture to them. Sandwiches are super small. Asked for American instead of swiss...they still put swiss on it. 🤢Lady running the drive thru wasnt wearing gloves, and I feel that theyre super important right now. I tried to avoid contact, but she freaking touched my hand.IMO: Not worth the money. If I get sick, Im suing.
Horrible experience, the employee got my order wrong and didnt give me my cups, did the same thing with the guy right in front of me. The senior female manager with gray hair was rude until i was already upset. She took a lot of my time and was rude to me even though it was their own issues. She kept saying rude things as i waited.I always have a bad experience with a majority of the workers there. Go to a different location
Wendy’s in traverse city is the worst. Not once have they gotten my order right, or at least don’t remember a time. Came in with the easiest order of 2 6pc spicy nuggets, they gave me 2 4pc regular nuggets. Last time I ordered the biggie bag with only cheese on it(said it 3 times), they put everything on it. I recommend finding somewhere else for food or wait at the window and check the food for yourself before leaving.
This is just like other Wendys but more friendly. Because of the way its located nestled in between other buildings and back from the road, its difficult to find. On the busy road, high speed traffic and lack of driveway options make it difficult to turn in. Once you tackle this, the restaurant is very nice.
Got the almost $6.00 spicy chicken sandwich and they give the the $1. I had to drive back to get the right sandwich and all they said was sorry. They should give me something or a card for a free sandwich but I got nothing and on top of that I had to wait in line again to get it 😡
Very warm welcome. Food was wonderfully presented as specially requested. Salad was green, cool, crisp. Employee was keeping busy cleaning up and offered to take our trays. Everything was clean and tidy except the carpet which was very dirty and unappetizing. That would be an easy fix.
This Wendys has gotten my order wrong in someway every time Ive gone to it. I stopped going to it for months then went back and they still get my order wrong. Foods fine bit I wouldnt recommend eating there unless youre dining Im because otherwise you might take up more time than you wanted by having to try to fix your order
Absolutely love the new remodel, the inside looks beautiful with the sharp corners and bright colors. Unfortunately, the past two times I have been in, all the tables in the dining room are filthy, the staff looks dirty, and unfriendly. The food is great, but if the kitchen looks like the dining room, I would fear for sanitation. Overall, its hit or miss. Diner beware.
All I wanted was a jr bacon. Not a gallon of mayo with the jr bacon attached. Been happy here before but I couldnt even eat it. Lets not forget these people want what, $15 an hour? I can only hope a machine that is programmed to put the right amount of sauce on a burger is replacing whoever worked tonight.
I was very disappointed with my visit. I am not a fan of Wendys. I visited with friends that night. I ordered a baked potatoe and was told by a grumpy lady that was near grill that there was not any potatoes and would not be any the rest of the night. So I ordered a small bacon cheeseburger and a coke. It wasnt 10 minutes later that I went back to the counter, and, low and behold, there was the same lady, preparing a baked potato for a customer. When I questioned the lady, all she did was to glare very deathly like and did not acknowledge my question. I will never go back to Wendys in Traverse City, Mi again.
Went through drive through 3 times each time same order was messed up a different way each time no cheese then no sausage and the lady in the drive through yelled at my wife when trying to fix order and at the end after walking through drive through to fix the sandwiches I had to rebuild them in the car to make a complete sandwiches a little rediculous especially only haveing 2 customer the time of the order
When I travel - whether for business or pleasure - I almost always hit Wendys. They have decent food at a good price. This particular Wendys is the best Wendys Ive ever been to, and its right in my home town. Somehow theyve attracted the best workers here; theyre extremely efficient and hard-working.In contrast, the Wendys on the east side of TC is the worst Wendys Ive ever been to. The workers project an uncaring attitude and the food there is always gross (and always causes complications).I live in Williamsburg, and if we decide to go to Wendys, we will always drive all the way across town to go to this one instead of the closer location. It is a world of difference!
My son accidentally dropped his entire order of fries on the floor before he took his first bite, and was fighting to hold back those big heartbroken atears. Since we were on vacation I decided to buy him some more, but when Phil (the guy who took our order) heard what happened he gave me a smile and another order of fries on the house. I offered to pay, but he waved it away. Thanks Phil and thanks Wendys! You made an 8 year old boys night!
Rude lazy customer serviceFelt that the cashier did not want to help me as she was short, with me and at one point didnt even acknowledge one of the items that I orderedThen as I was leaving she saw a car pull into the parking lot at 855pm and she said out loud, dont park dont parkDont go here they definitely dont want business!

2022-06-19Carter provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. This boy deserves a raise. I arrived disappointed on a Sunday that nothing else was open and he made me want to get Wendys in the Soo every Sunday. Also the food was hot and tasty.

2022-03-14Horrible! This Wendy’s has gone downhill!I ordered a double combo. Asked for No cheese and No onions. Small combo. Received a Medium With cheese and With onions. To make things worse, the hamburgers were over cooked, hard cold and tasteless. Guess I won’t be going back there.

2022-06-16The drive thru is supposed to be open until 12am at this current time and season in the universe. I ordered door dash. I worked 10 days in a row at munson and all I wanted was a baconator. And literally as the dasher arrived they closed the store. They confirmed my order and everything, the door dasher was there by 11:30 and they were closed. In case wendys on 31 is losing money its because they close up shop before closing and eat peoples dash orders and ect. Not cool wendys. Do better. If youre open until 12am for the drive thru, please stay open. I know everyone is hurting for staff and stressed af but you wouldve made my night with that baconator lol.

2022-07-07Extremely rude girl working the evening shift in the drive through window on 7/6/22. I asked for a cup of ice at the window, that I forgot to order, and she acted like I asked for her 1st born child. The cheese cups I was given had maybe 1/4 of inch of cheese in them.

2020-11-28I just had a really pleasant experience with a manager named Dustin. There was an issue with my order, and he handled it with grace and kindness. It seriously redeemed the situation, and am looking forward to coming back. Look at my beautiful bun-less replacement burgers.

2020-05-24My favorite thing about this place is their chili. I always had a good experience and good food. It doesnt have that sort of Burger King vibe and or taste, so that is a nice change for fast food relations. I definitely would recommend their chili above all else.

2022-01-23I love the new crispy fries. Great burgers. Nice people. Worth the wait. I especially love when I get a burger with crispy bacon instead of the usual soggy bacon that is common with fast food.
