Comment: Earlier this month, I was in search of a storage unit to store items really quick. I called the Santa Clara location and an employee, Angela took my call. She asked various questions to help determine the size I would need. I said I would be down to take a look. I cant remember right now if I had mentioned over the ph that I had rented from this location in the past. Upon meeting both Angela and the manager, Omar in person, they were very pleasant and greeted me and my friend with smiles! Omar took me and my friend to look at some interior 1st floor units which would provide a convenient unload access for my movers to enter through the Martin Avenue gate on move in day. (Note: the gate on the Martin Ave side is a normally used as an exit gate. Omar advised that on my move-in day, I can make arrangements with the office to have the Martin Ave gate used as an entrance gate. )After the tour, I was very satisfied and went back to the office. Omar said as I was a repeat customer, he would offer a 3-month half off discount on the unit i selected. I presented Angela my personal info to enter into a contract to reserve a unit! She went over the particulars about renters insurance etc. Again, I have to say that Omar is a very courteous and knowledgeable professional. He explained my options and prices without coming across as pushy or persuasive. The access hours and security interms of accessing the elevators of this property are also top notch and convenient to customers. I am confident to recommend to any of my friends who may need to rent storage to go see/call Omar and/or Angela in Santa Clara! Thank you.

I went to West Coast Storage to rent a van to move my stuff out and when I met Omar Bermudez, the Property Manager. & Angela Tamalatzi, the Assistant Manager, they were so kind and friendly that I decided this would be my new location! They are so helpful, and the facility is very clean and I feel safe there. I have already recommended them to other people who have since signed up and they are loving it too! I feel so lucky to have found this great facility to protect my things. Thank you!

They are also quite reasonably priced and the on-site employees are extremely helpful and pleasant. My high opinion of WCSS comes with my first-hand knowledge of other storage companies across the country who have offered none of the above amenities. I give WCSS my heartfelt recommendation.

Comment: I have been renting a unit for over a year now and I am glad to have had Chase as my contact person at West Coast Storage. There were a number of changes to my move out date and he has been extremely patient and flexible with last minute changes and oversight on payment schedules on my end. Rental fee is a bit high compared to others in the area, but Id trade that in for working with a Rep like Chase who gets that honest errors do happen and that flexibility and good faith are keys to building solid client relationships. If he isnt in a leadership role now, he should be considered for one; His customer service skills are worth emulating by others. This is a review for Chase specifically which Id give 5 stars.

Comment: Chase is horribly rude and just non-sensical. Cant believe he is the manager! We reserved a truck for 5:45, get there at 5:47. The door was locked, couldnt find anyone. Called, left a message. Got a call back a couple minutes later from Chase saying that he waited until 5:45, and then went upstairs and hes busy doing something. We practically had to beg for him to come back down to give us the truck we reserved. The place closes at 6, apparently they stop serving customers whenever they feel like it, though.

Comment: The staff is friendly and has great customer sevice. The only issue I have is when I first moved in was that they dont raised your that often and they rarely do. That is simply a under statement on their part. Every year they increased my rent and it is never on my anniversary date. The increase is always 6 or 7 months prior to your anniversary date. They use this clause in your that states that they can increase anytime within that year. I did notice one thing is when I made the inquiry to move out they have said they can move me in a smaller unit to save me money. Then I found out while looking for another storage place online that they have alot of vacancies. Now I clearly understand why they keep trying to move me into a smaller unit. The fact is their rents are higher then everybody eles and they are trying to their vacancy rate down. Sorry but I am moving out because I am paying $220 for a 10x10 and I found another 10 x10 that is $90 cheaper and in the same area
