His baseless assumptions about my family structure, even after receiving clear written explanations, were just the beginning. More concerning was his disregard for significant issues within our apartment, such as a flooding incident and unaddressed maintenance requests, opting instead to focus on minor concerns. This oversight led me to seek legal avenues for resolution. The inability of Altitude Apartments to provide a safe and livable environment necessitated our relocation. I must advise against their services for anyone seeking a reliable and professional property management entity.Furthermore, it’s crucial to highlight that addressing these concerns demanded considerable efforts, including lodging a formal complaint with the Fair Housing Council, reaching out to the Tenants Hotline, and sending numerous emails to both the property management and corporate headquarters. A response came ultimately from the administrative office, but by then, the decision to depart was irrevocable, leaving us emotionally drained. My husband and I chose San Antonio as a place to start afresh and advance our business endeavors. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met, largely due to the managements failings.It was revealed to us that Building 15, where our apartment was located, had a history of flooding, known to management yet undisclosed to tenants. This has resulted in multiple families being relocated over the years, a fact we learned through external agencies assisting us. This level of negligence and lack of transparency is unacceptable.I urge Westland Real Estate Group DBA WESTLAND SA 1 LLC to address these serious issues and to ensure that their staff, particularly those in management positions, are both capable and willing to fulfill their responsibilities effectively. The complex I live in is falling apart, nothing works, the literally brought 1000 from God knows where, this people is drunk every day, there is beer bottles everywhere, kids destroying the ac units, police here everyday, ICE present at nights as well, I had call the police almost every day and animal control because this people dont know how to use a leash and their dogs and I got attacked by one. Its horrible. And yet, no body cares, no body fixes the problems. I made an appt to view the Westland@Daisy apt for today at 10. I show up a few minutes early no one’s there, no big deal. So I call to let them know in there, I was on hold forever then they say they’re gonna call the property manager and let them know I’m there. The minutes are passing by next thing you know it’s been 25 mins and still no one shows. So I call back, on hold once again another 5 mins pass so by the time they answer I already left. Then she gonna ask me if I wanna reschedule! Really?! after driving 20 mins outta my area and waiting another 30 no thanks.. if that’s how you treat potential tenants I can only imagine how you’d treat them once you have them locked into a lease.

Comment: There’s a special place in h*ll for leeches like you. Westland owns Solaire Apartments in Vegas, a deadly complex with faulty wiring whose buildings regularly burn. People die in these fires and they couldn’t be more callous to the survivors. They allowed the complex manager to keep her job after she was caught scamming residents with fraudulent fees. They file all work orders directly in the trash; it took 18 months and an email to the CEO threatening legal action to get our apartment repaired up to code, let alone livable. They count on their tenants being too poor and overworked to take action against them. Everyone making a comfortable living off this company - you are the lowest and most despicable type of Americans; I hope none of you can sleep at night.

Because when there is a breakdown and damage, they never solve it correctly because they do it halfway.Additionally, the apartments at NEST Jones Maltsberger rd Cod 78216 have rodent (rat) problems inside the apartments and it is not possible to carry out adequate pest control and cover the gaps inside the apartment to avoid their nests.The office administration ignores it and does not see it as an urgent problem to be solved because according to them the apt is not falling. But it turns out that the health problems are even greater when a person or child is bitten by these rodents.

The property managers are negligent and apathetic, quick to charge you or put a notice on your door for late rent when they dont even bother to check their own systems to see they got paid early. Even though COVID restriction have been lifted, the property management staff on my property say their office is closed and sit in the office all day with their doors locked. Doing what? I dont know because you would think they would actually be on point with the only thing they seem to have time to do, check their emails or the ledgers on the online payment system. Nope. When you contact corporate, they send you an email saying the regional manager will reach out to you. 2 months later, no contact. Then they want to raise rents on slums calling it, the market rate the properties are disheveled, nothing works but they are quick to charge you when you move for stuff they never fixed or that never worked.This company is the absolute worst.

On top of that, at all 3 properties Ive had MAJOR repairs needed and they never happened in a timely manner. My most recent being my ceiling flooding and molding on the inside. It took them 2 months to fix it, even after being served a legal document stating to fix the essential problem within 48hours per my state laws. When I asked to speak to someone other than my specific apartment complex that never happened. I was retaliated against by this property management company.

They bought our apartment complex in June 2022 and four months later they still don’t have a consistent maintenance staff or office presence. We are incredibly dissatisfied with the lack of communication and support for routine issues. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau in July, to which they did not respond. It seems like this company is dragging their feet to provide quality service to their tenants, and I’m inclined to believe that’s because they feel they can take advantage of the many people who live in this complex who are lower-income, older, and/or people of color. I would love to be wrong, though.

We had a leak in our apartment bedroom due to a burst pipe in the boiler room over a week ago and it took us to call the fair housing act for anything to be done. I constantly call the numbers on the paper since our property manager doesn’t want to stay on property and have left multiple voicemails and I still have not received a call back. Someone from corporate said they would escalate my call to their boss. No call back. Since there isn’t onsite maintenance anymore, when they do come they don’t have the equipment needed to do their job and end up leaving saying they will come back. They don’t. So I have to constantly call and hope someone answers. What is this?

Strange people, not renters and always different, go in and out of the apartment above him. A screen has been of the window and the window open for a month now. Birds have roosted in there.The weekend of my birthday, we stayed over at his apartment, got a visitor placard and parked in visitor parking. We were towed by Wilsons towing even though we followed the rules and had the placard visible.I immediately reached out via email and phone. No one answered until the next day, after paying $575 dollars to get my car back. I received an email from Karla Grundy saying she would help me and asking for my cars information. I reponded kindly and with proper info. That was 15 days ago. Since then, emailing her and corporate, calling her number and corporate, not one call or answer.I have photos, a receipt of towing, and emails as evidence.Do not rent from these people.

Comment: When we first moved in, 2013 things were ok with the shootings and fights because it wasnt towards us but since then starting last year apartment 1074 happened at Hacienda Hills Apartments, North Las Vegas, Nevada. They have been a nightmare, it is alleged they have slashed our tires, they have seven vehicles on property, taking all of our resident parking, management ignores us saying they will enforce parking however they do not, the apartment has nine people living inside their children run up to our patio and steal our packages from Amazon, their guests harass me and challenge to fight me, our Security does not enforce parking and are non existent the local police should build a substation on property, intoxicated persons hang out on our stairway yelling and staggering.Flash forward 2022 we had a fraudulent lease violation left on our door by Omar and Marisol at Westland Real Estate, of an invincible pet, due to us not owning a pet however I obtained photos of three possible pets they were talking about, roaming Hacienda Hills unsupervised every morning.Once I told the Office they singled us out and gave a harassing violation notice with out evidence of a pet they told me disregard the notice.They were asked to announce their visits which they ignored, I asked for Ruth Garcia number, they have not given it because they know that Garcia is all of their bosses.

Comment: Will not repair mailboxes at my parents apartment complex (3963 Tara Ave) in Las Vegas. My parents have been trying to get someone to fix the mailboxes for months now, they were broken over the summer of 2021. The mailboxes are property of the apartment owners and are their responsibility. Westland Real Estate will not have the mailboxes fixed, and Greenville Park Property Management ( who runs the day to day) will not do anything either. They want their rent on time but wont do their part for the residents. Shame on them.

So me thinking the computer is messing up, so o sent a text of my pay stubs to the guy and I also sent it to the lady who I been talking to since I first applied. After I submitted everything again they stopped answering my calls, they started screening my calls, they basically stopped dealing with me after they refused the places for me and my child. I make the money And I’m qualified. They really discriminated against me twice for no reason.

Comment: I seriously don’t understand how this company is still even operating. This is the WORST property group I’ve ever dealt with. I rented from them in Vegas. I had the WORST roach issue that for over a year they neglected to resolve the issue. As well as denied me a property transfer, denied me moving to a different unit, and also denied me breaking lease due to the issue. They literally expected me to live with it. When I would get home, numerous times, just opening the door a bug would fall on me! I stopped buying groceries because I felt disgusted trying to cook in my kitchen. They weren’t too bad in my bedroom, however there has been a few times I’d wake up because I felt one crawling on me. Which then lead to me not being able to sleep in my own apartment! I spent many nights staying at friends houses. Communication with these people is almost impossible. They stopped responding to emails. When I would call they were conveniently never available. When asked for higher up(like district manager) they told me they didn’t have that info and that if they did they couldn’t give it out. I called the main office in Cali, finally got an email for the district manager, NEVER heard from them. Ever. They do not care about their residents the slightest bit. All the good reviews are coming from people that were lucky to have no bad experiences or because they over incentives to leave good reviews. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE JOKE.

It went from $2200 to $2450 and even when I called the number to 1st inquire about the available unit and its price I was told by them the rent would be $2200. Why would they let you apply for one price and then say that because of upgrades that have to be done to the rental they have to charge more. That should be something that the office should be aware of in the beginning before putting up the rental and making people waste money on application fees with incorrect prices. Since people apply for apartments based on the price that it shows that it going to be rented for.

From demanding calls outside of our work hours to wrongful termination because we no longer enabled the companies abusive behavior. Aside from bad management, they carry out illegal activities within the corporation. Company hired immigrants then threatens to expose employee and residents to immigration unless they comply with abusive “regulations”. Company exploits employees and residents. Would call outside our business hours demanding we work off the clock, then when we try to claim the OT they threaten you to giving you a warnings. Stay far away from this company as possible. Especially regional manager Gorge Milan. He is a very vindictive person who knows no boundaries and will stop at nothing to have your removed as a tenant or employee. Comment: I just moved in January and the office staff here and at the Solaire property. The staff is unprofessional and they do not return your calls for manager or maintenance requests. I really like the property which is why I transferee however, the office staff makes you feel like you are nothing . They are so bad to deal with that I am waiting patiently for a refund check that the manager at Solaire says I am not entitled too and provided 3 different ledgers and said I didn’t pay deposit when I obviously wouldn’t be able to move in without a deposit I have sought a refund of move out expenses since January 2021. I have been ducked and doged by the area supervisor, since the property manager is merely a body. I was initially told that I was already refunded. I have I have been patient because the rental lease advised a refund can be take up to 30 days. I was told that the refund was sent at the 30 day marked, however, I did not receive and waited 30 more days to be reissued. . I filed a dispute with my bank and I was reimbursed and thought it would be over. Today my bnak reversed the payment cusing 4 utility bills to overdraft my account. This was after I was told I was not owed and I received 3 different ledgersI finally spoke to the area manager who understood how upset I was and gave me her word that she would personally call me back. these people take your rent and treat you llike you are nothing DO NOT support this company, their are much better real estate companies.Desired Settlement:Refund

Comment: If I could give a negative star rating or a zero rating I would. Renting at Westland Properties has been unbelievably bad! They are very quick to send those rent due reminders but no where to be found when your upstairs neighbors are dragging their furniture at all hours of the night, stomping on purpose all day after you’ve had to take it upon yourself to ask them to please be more considerate. Their roof/ceiling sound proofing is nonexistent so expect to hear your neighbors toss and turn at night, get up to go to the restroom and everything in between. Very very ghetto!! Can’t emphasize enough how low quality living it is here. I have to ask complete strangers to let me into my house because there are cars blocking my entrance everyday I get home from work/errands. My designated parking spot has been taken a few times and I’ve slept in my car putting my life at risk because street parking is bad here too. Might as well pay an extra few hundred dollars to have a quality living experience than rent from them.Update: New neighbors upstairs... big surprise! It’s no wonder tenants leave as quickly as they come when there is no respect for rules. Upstairs neighbors are vacuuming and moving furniture around like I don’t have to wake up in the morning at go to work. It keeps getting worse, once again I cannot stress this enough, do not rent with Westland Real Estate Group.

Comment: We’ve been apartment hunting for months and granted, during this whole pandemic most apartments were reluctant to setup apartment viewings, return your phone call, or even just pick up your call. I even tried settling for e-mails to no avail. One day, we saw a listing on Craigslist we thought we’d give a shot. Not more than 5 mins later, Manuel Casillas responded. He was able to give us details, answer all our questions and setup a tour of the apartment in less than 10 mins. He was thorough with his responses and a couple days later we were at the apartment where Manuel gave us a full tour of ALL the available apartments for us to choose from and the amenities and services the place has to offer.After we were approved, Manuel continued to check in on us and EVEN AFTER THE MOVE to make sure we had everything that we needed.It has been quite an experience and it couldn’t have been easier, thanks to Manuel!Would recommend to anyone.

Comment: I rented from a Westland property. The purpose of this review is to inform both the company and future Tentants of what my experience was. Properties are misrepresented and have many underlying issues. Such as Roaches, Loud Tentants, Garbage outside, Laundry machines don’t work in some buildings (mine hadn’t worked for over 15 years). The community was supposed to be gated however our gates were broken for over 8 months. I mean the list goes on. They will move you in fast, however they don’t like to completely clean, fix or maintain apartments. Often slapping paint over dirt, taking bad quality photos to make it seem like they are doing their part and they aren’t. I was charged for things such as paint, cleaning etc. That were that way when I moved in. When I asked to a move in sheet to address damages I was told they don’t do that? They are not knowledgeable about company policies, and have a revolving door of leasing agents. Manager or Assistant mangers are rarely on site due to managing multiple properties(overworked). They are basically there for the check and don’t care what they put Families through.(Greenville Park Apt- Las Vegas NV)

I have been trying to reach someone at Westland all week and have received no response. I made 3-4 phone calls, left two voicemails and sent two emails. I started off very patient but have been pushed to my limit since they refuse to respond to my request. I keep getting the run around from the phone operator and a woman named Genova de la Paz. My request is not very difficult or out of the ordinary. They expect to be paid in a timely manner so tenants should be able to expect to get a response in a timely manner.BEWARE! They will put up a good front in the beginning but once theyve trapped you in they will not give you a time of day. Pathetic excuse of a management company. TERRIBLE START TO A TENANT AND MANAGEMENT CO RELATIONSHIP.UPDATE: After contacting every single person I could get a hold of (and I mean EVERYONE), they finally responded to my request. I dont like that I had to get nasty to get what I needed but Im glad someone finally started taking me seriously. Comment: We actually had the pleasure of touring an abundance of your properties and were disgusted by the estates in LA county. The price and what you were getting for the area, it was ridiculous. One leasing agent even admitted to us they built a wall in a studio apartment just to call it a 1-Bedroom....it was a closet. However, we did fall in love with the Property in Long Beach. The area was good and the price was better. I was a great deal, and the pet friendly aspect was a huge plus for us. Manuel Casillas, our leasing agent is absolutely amazing and deserves a huge shoutout as well as the on-site manager Wendy. We are also extremely grateful for your over the phone customer service team, they always were helpful with recommending places and setting up appointments and answering all our questions. A huge reason however, I can only give you 3 stars is because the corporate team that processed our application was extremely rude to us. It was a headache getting through to someone and even when we did we were treated with very little respect. They even told us over the phone that our application is not a priority to them and they will just get to it when they can, which took an very long time.The reasons why we patiently worked with them was because of our love for the department and because of the Help of Manuel and Wendy. Thanks to them we are enjoying the property, but wish we had a better experience overall.

When we left our unit, I had spent the whole day cleaning it, I left it like when we first moved in and still got charged for unit cleaning as well as carpet replacement when absolutely nothing was wrong with the carpet. Comment: They seem to be friendly at first, they tell you an time frame. Once the timeframe is up. You are giving the run around. Asked to call back several times. The call center is no help at all. They cut you off when speaking to you, so they can just transfer you to someone else. If I had the money to apply somewhere else I would. But who has money to keep submitting applications, I have nothing on my credit that would disqualify me. So I don’t know what the hold up is. At this time it’s seems as if there are buying there selves time. Horrible customer service! If I could give them a negative star I would have in the customer service experience category. This is the first impression, you guys at Westland failed miserably. No such thing as one call resolution after you guys have drop the ball.

Other than that, the office staff is nice and welcoming, the neighborhood is pretty much clean, and it looks like the pool is going to be open this summer. Plus they excepted me with an eviction thats 2 years old. So Im working with what I can get and afford at this time.

Comment: This property management company is the worst that I have ever had to deal with. They are rude when you call the office, theyre rude when you do into the office and they are slum lords!! We reported a roof leak 02/01 and its still not fixed. We pay $2600 for a 4 bedroom condo that is illegally rented to us. Its technically a 2 bedroom that is not permitted to be 4 bedrooms. Ive given my notice and I would not recommend these people to a homeless person. The owner is a wealthy guy that lives in a mini mansion behind the property, he owns several properties in this area and could care less about his tenants. But Im not just going to go away quietly. If I could rate them a negative -5 stars I would.

Ongoing issues with hot water in building for over a year but they refuse to notify in advance when they are shutting all the water off in my building. Yesterday was the 8th occurrence of shutting off the water without prior notice since August. Since Westland took over the complex it has been a very disappointing and a disrespectful experience.UPDATE-12/18/2018The water in my building has been off since last night at midnight. It is now 245pm. No one has called or reached out to explain what is happening. Leasing office acted like I was bothering her when I called. This is ridiculous.

Comment: Downstairs neighbor directly under me plays loud music all times of the day and especially late at night until 3-4-5 AM I have complained to management,the police has come out and given 2 red cards yet the music continues all times of night with the base so loud its knocking things off of my night stand in my room... Management says they have given them notice but have done nothing else, management is telling me that they asked my downstairs neighbors about the noise and they are telling them that its not them.... Often their representatives are rude as well, not worth dealing with.They also only fumigate using spray and gel, which is good, but they refuse to fog apartments which means often times the problem persists. If you have a cockroach issue, youre better off dealing with it yourself, they are no help.Im sure this is true for all locations, but the specific one I had dealings with in the past was their location on Pinafore St.Avoid.

We bought a lot of cleaners to clean cabins but couldnt get rids of roaches. Its so terrible apartments, the offices no help when called them, They are bad and all they want money. you move in then started raised your rent after 8 months or year, The bad manager Wendy always mistreated tenants told them rules about her property, Her and her aunt site manager rent 2 or 3 garage free. People moved in and moved out terrible places lot of roaches and rats. They just painted to cover and make it nice but insides so terribles. The offices people dont care all they want money they have a bad services. Glad we moved out in a better clean place well better than Westland apartments. Wendy asked and collect tenants paystubs so the city of Long Beach to painted the apartment free. So stupid not fair, the tenant not own those roaches rats apartments. These apartments need to break down and rebuild

It was our first apartment home, and we had to deal with bed bugs/bird mites from the pigeon infestation our apartment had to endure. There were birds living on our window ledges for months, with our windows covered in bird feces. We did research and found out humans can be affected with bed buds/bird mites through their feces. The administration at the office were very unprofessional, and looked like they stay on Facebook all day. The manager was as clueless as her employees. Trying to get in touch with of anyone of importance is hard. Just an overall HORRIBLE experience.

Weve never been a nuisance and have paid our rent on time a majority of the time. The building we live in is the Deighton Apartments on Burlington Avenue. We have been dealing with a disgustingly noisy and rude neighbor right above us for almost a year now. I was pregnant last year and developed high blood pressure because of the constant noise at all hours of the night coming from the upstairs neighbor. I have contacted Martha SEVERAL times regarding this issue by physical mail, by e-mail and by phone. Martha has NEVER ONCE had the decency to respond to our issue. However Martha was quick to send us a letter telling us that we would be fined when someone informed her that we had a trash bag sitting outside our unit one day that was getting ready to be taken outside to the garage. Clearly this management company does not care about their tenants AT ALL. They love to raise the rent though but dont want to respond to any discrepancies whatsoever. Whenever you try to call the office no on his ever available. They also add random fees to your rent even when youve already paid in full. I would steer clear of this management company unless you are absolutely desperate. You WILL NOT be treated like a priority. All the want is your money. We are actually in the process of moving out because we are beyond fed up with the disrespect and lack of concern from the company we pay every month.

No fix on the smoke alarms or the dish washer and if you refuse to pay rent when they break the law they evict you. Dont believe me? They were on the local news about it and just check their google and Yelp reviews. Also if they tell you to call their main office. Dont waste your time. Its a PR stunt. Comment: The day i was showed my apt there were roaches, I was assured it was going to be taken care of. I kept my place spotless, even the onsite manager agreed, roaches never left. Insect company came every two weeks. Im talking the whole 12 months. Onsite manager barely ever answered her phone and it took almost 2 months for last renter to get there things out of storage where parking was. The biggest problem was having them go up on rent $125.00 after paying my rent on time and having no issue my entire stay there. Legally, a %10 raise in rent is whats supposed to happen, but $125.00 on top of $825.00 is not lawful. On top of it all Ive been gone 2 months now and havent received my deposit yet.

Comment: I have lived at the Park Vista Apartments in Las Vegas, Nevada for about a month now and thus far my experience has not been what I expected..There are many things that I see that really disturbs me..Listed below are my major concerns:1. Laundry Room: The laundry room needs a major overhaul as you can see in the pictures the condition of the laundry room is not good at all, majority of the washers have error codes and dont work, seems the machines have not been serviced in a while. There is no windows to cover dust from coming into the laundry room just bars...the machines are filthy, the laundry room just in general is filthy. There is no sign stating the hours of operation of the laundry room2. Staff: The Porter has a major attitude and I had one run in with him already. Short story I went into the office to get a matter handle and the porter was telling me that the office opens at 9 am, the time was 9:05 am and I told him that. He in turned got upset and called me a Puto little does he know I understand Spanish very well since then everytime the Porter sees me around the property he has demonstrated an unprofessional attitude towards me and thinks its funny...Leasing Agent = Less than professional always has an answer for everything when tenants go into the office and brings up problems in their units or around the property. I feel as though they only assist those who are Spanish before assisting anyone else that is not Spanish..3. False Advertising: Leasing Agent claimed apartments are cable ready..False!!! when I had cabled installed the technician said there were not any wires running through the apartment and had to run a line from the outside of my unit. Free Wifi: Um..there is no free wifi..its being advertised on the sign outside of the property.Overall the property is not living up to its full potential, I have brought up several issues to the property manager and I have not really seen much progress. However, the property manager seems to be friendly and generally concerned about her tenants..(Spanish tenants only in my opinion). If people were to ask me if I would recommend this place I would but I would like to see major changes before I even recommend this place. I surely hope that the Corporate Office sees this posting and send someone from the Corporate Office to inspect the property. I would be happy to meet with anyone one and point out several things I see that needs changing...

Boxes from the pharmacy, chairs from one of the restaurant during the day not to mention the waste of water of the rubber mats with the bad smell during the night time and carton boxes left on top of the grease dispenser from the pizza shop.Un verdadero asco.Es una lastima que esta propiedad cause tanto repudio entre la gente, lo primero que miro en las mañanas cuando me levanto es la basura de los establecimientos. Sillas quebradas, cajas de carton y el apeste de cuando se ponen a lavar los tapetes de plastico de los restaurantes. Un verdadero asco.UPDATED:THIS PLACE CONTINUES TO BE A NIGHTMARE AND EYESORE FOR EVERYONE WHO WALKS BY OR DRIVE ON THAT ALLEY. THE RESTAURANTS CONTINUE TO WASH THE RUBBER MATS AND THE TRASH OUTSIDE THE BUSINESS KEEPS ON PILING UP.SO THEY SAY THEY REACH OUT TO THE TENANTS THERE BUT I HIGHLY DOUBTED.

Comment: If I could give 0 stars I would. First of all my mother stays in one of their apartments in Inglewood, CA and from the trouble i see she goes through its not worth it with this company. The manager doesnt speak English so nothing gets fixed and the repair man and can barely walk and is lazy. This company doesnt care about making sure their tenants house is fine and up to date all they care about is the money. They have a mice infestation in their apartments and they dont care to solve the problem! Just stay away from this company its horrible and racist all they care about is their Mexican tenants.

They took my money for the application about 86$ and every since then been avoiding my calls they are scam artist this company needs to be shut down! I repeat dont apply here if you are not Mexican they wont help you they are racist! Very rude workers here! I will be reporting this company yall messed with the wrong person I have a degree in LAW I will see yall in court Hahaha

I also want to let you guys know that is a very calm place and that Gaby Perez is an excellent person. She treated me like I was supposed to be treated. She helped me in every way possible. I was very glad with my service and it was my first time getting a store and I’m glad she helped me. She taught me what it was like and she showed me how the things work. Comment: All these reviews these people left, is the absolute truth every word. they let known criminals run around here sell drugs and rob and vandalize and do nothing...will yell at people letting their kids play outside but let the folks stand around on the stairs and smoke a blunt...will let a guy come back on property after he tried to break threw the window and stab is girlfriend..and threaten to kick me out my apartment when i had 2 water leaks in a weak and turned off the emergency valve,isnt that what the valve is there for...im so confused. these people are crooks and should be thrown in the slammer for life
