I went to wheel works to get one of my wheel refinished. The owner was clear on what could or could not be done.The work was performed on time and for the price agreed upon. no surprises no delays.The work done is flawless.As I am writing this review they only have 5stars reviews, this doesnt happen on accident. Wheel Works does exactly what their name says and they do it well.We need more shops like this.
Great service and quality. Eddie powder coated the wheels on my Land Cruiser and painted the center caps to match. I will definitely go back the next time I need wheel repair or powder coating.
Great job on my damaged Dodge Brass monkey wheels. Change color because Dodge doesnt have paint code for Brass monkey wheels. Black now

Made a bit of a mistake last year pulling into a parking spot and put some curb damage on one of my wheels. Damage wasnt bad, but my wheels posed a different challenge, they were custom painted black by the previous owner of the car. I called a couple of other shops before I found Wheel Works Detroit and they didnt want to touch them due to the paint.Wheel Works Detroit not only was willing to do it, but did an awesome job doing so. I couldnt even tell where the repair happened when I picked them up and did it for a fair price. Highly recommend for any wheel repair, or custom painting/powder coating. Eddie and his crew are the best in town. Had some curb rashes on my brand new rims, Eddie responded to my email as fast as possible, got me in 2 days later and made the wheel look brand new in just one day. I got quoted from several other places and Wheel Works Detroit is by far the cheapest. Quality is 10/10 I can’t even tell that the wheel was repaired. Will be back for more!
Wheel Works did a great job refinishing my aluminum wheels. They look brand new. Professional and polite service by Eddie and his guys. The wheels were completed in less than a week.

Im glad I waited because it was worth it... Quality work I couldnt even tell if the rims were even scuffed... I have a before and after picture 📷 .. How they looked when they got scuffed and after they were repaired... There prices are fair and not ridiculous like some other quotes I have recieved... Was looking for a rim repair place and so I emailed Wheel Works and got an immediate response the following morning. Eduardo emailed me and he was able to get me in that same day. He was very generous and I didnt wait unreasonably long for him to make the repair. Eduardo also showed me the actual damage to my rim before he repaired it. I had the pleasure of doing business with Eddie from Wheel Works when I called and requested information about getting a set of rims powder coated and installed. Right from the get go he had set an expectation that was far exceeded by my standards. When I came in to have the newly painted rims mounted and installed on the car, I was blown away by the attention to detail he had taken with my wheels, right down to the last valve stem cap. Wheel Works has far surpassed my expectations and I look forward to dealing with them in the future!

I came to Edu after having someone else power coating my wheels twice. The other shop did a good job on the finish, but the color was not close to what I wanted. Edu was honest and told me that what I wanted couldnt be achieved thru Power Coating. I would either have to have them painted or PVDed. I chose the PVD process and couldnt be happier.

After a local tire shop put deep gouges all the way around the faces of all four 20 wheels (black) on my 2015 Camaro SS 1LE (black), I figured they were ruined. Eddie and his crew made them look better than new. Eddie found the perfect color and the finish is smoother than factory. I was floored, the wheels are flawless, and the price was extremely reasonable. I will be taking all future wheel repairs to Wheel Works, and recommend them to anyone who will listen. In addition to doing artisan level work Eddie is also just a genuinely great guy, so bonus.

2022-07-03Eddie and his crew are great. I bought a set of wheels that needed some refinishing, and they did a great job - including fixing a bend that I didnt know was there. The wheel that had the most curb rash looks brand new, and they mounted and balanced my new tires really - no vibrations or issues.Also - Eddie was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with, which isnt always the case with businesses like this. That was very much appreciated as well.

I had him refinish my Jaguar I-Pace Wheels and he promised me the best work and as you can see from the photos, he and his team did a great job. 2022-07-31Owner Eduardo is great to deal with, does great work and takes pride in the work he does. Brought in a set of old wheels from an 82 Trans Am that needed to be refinished. The wheels are raw aluminum and needed to be sandblasted, and have the fins/lip polished (very time consuming).The wheels were then powder coated clear to protect them and they turned out amazing. Wheels works crew are great to deal with and keep you updated on the progress.

2022-02-10Needed refinishing for my newly acquired 2008 Lamborghini custom wheels. My old wheel shop was out of business so I rolled the dice and did a Google search in Detroit area…WWD immediately jumped out with extensive 5-Star reviews so I gave them a call. Eddie the owner answered and respectfully answered all of my numerous questions. Eddie immediately convinced me he’s an expert and knew exactly what I was looking for. I’m not easily impressed as I always want showroom new everything, lol, but he absolutely exceeded my expectations on every level with the end result. Most importantly he answered every call, was very reasonable on pricing and is a truly enjoyable person to add to my friend list. Highly recommended for all wheel services, I couldn’t be more impressed or happier with the outcome!

2022-01-20I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Wheel Works Detroit! Eddie is an incredibly honest, genuine, and generous man and I have spread the good word to everyone I know to come to his shop. Upon meeting him for the first time, he graciously helped me out when a local tire shop tried scamming me out a lot of money. Eddie took great care of the rim on my Subaru Outback which has been problem free since. I will absolutely be back, thanks again Eddie!!

2022-08-09Eddie is genuinely top notch. Took my Michigan busted up pot hole wheel and saved me over $250 versus buying a new one. 22’s are not cheap, and he made it brand new.Would highly recommend and I’ll be back for any wheel services needed. Wheel repair, balancing, powder coating, scratch repair, they do it all you won’t be disappointed.

2021-09-03Bought used car out of state and upon picking up realized two of the four rims got severe curve rash. Considered buying used ones at Ebay but they are so expensive that I’ve reached out WWD based on Google review and my go-to window tint shop owner. At very fair and reasonable cost Eddie at WWD made the rims look much better. Before and after pictures attached for reference. Getting a complete repaint would make them look even better or get them to a perfect condition but I’m good with this right now. Thank you sir!

2022-08-05I had a set of Honda S2000 wheels refinished and powder coated. Eddie was very responsive to emails, did a fantastic job and I highly recommend using him for wheel repair and refinishing. I will definitely be having additional sets of wheels refinished here in the future
