Wing Doozy in other cities:
Went there craving their ff and had the worst experience. 😫 waited for food meanwhile an 8 top came in after the 2 of us a received their food before us. I went to counter to ask and the counter clerk stated they were packaging now. 15 more min went by and I ask again, she stated she didnt know where our food was she does not work in kitchen 🙄. Meanwhile they were waxing floor while we were there to eat with very noisy equipment . Got my money back. Wont go again.
Totally was not expecting the size of the wings. Don’t turn away at the price point these are listed at because the wings are huge and fantastic. Their Spicy Garlic Parmesan sauce is quite daring, and the spice definitely kicks, but the overall flavor left me wanting more.
Food was really good. Wings were much bigger than I expected. Im nearly 300lbs and a 6 wing combo basket filled me right up. Fries were nice and crispy. Service was excellent, please dont forget to tip the staff. They came out multiple times to see if everything was good and if we needed anything else. Overall the experience was great. I would definitely come back. They even let you try the sauce!!!
Some of the slowest service ive ever got for wings.. Seemed like everyone was just playing around in kitchen and more worried about the football game on TV than the food they were suppose to be cooking. I tried the Nashville hot and there housemade mild buffalo. Both good flavor but there Nashville hot was way to sweet for a Nashville hot sauce. Im a huge Nashville hot fan thats all I order when I find it but I will never order it there again way too sweet. But will try again another time when I have more time to wait for food.
Very disappointed by my experience here. Got some garlic parmesan boneless wings and they were not great. They were inconsistently cooked. One was so chewy I wouldnt even finish it. Some were alright. Not sure if they forgot to season/sauce them, but garlic parm isnt what I would have thought they were if I hadnt placed the order. Their housemade ranch was not for me. The wing doozy sauce I used for the wings, was alright. Their fountain drink station was broken and sprayed all over my hands. This location is smaller and felt very cramped while I was there. All that said, the fries were good.
The food here is just awesome. Last night there was a small issue with our takeout. Brie (hope I spelled that right) and the front of house staff went over and above to quickly remedy the situation. Seriously her/their attentiveness while they were already busy was absolutely awesome. Its this kind of exceptional customer service, along with consistently fantastic food that has made a lifelong customer of us.
Best boneless wings our family has had by far!!! Reasonably priced the fries are fresh and I like the sweet heat they offer as a seasoning. Our 2nd time here in a week. Update we sat and ate there and one of the staff members was helping take out garbage while she was cutting raw chicken and did not change gloves !! I hope this is not the ordinary here
Always enjoy this location. Great wings, good size, with richly flavored sauces. The Nashville hot wings are officially too much for me though. Pleasant pain, those wings. The corn nuggets are so addictive, and really one of the reasons we keep coming back. I love the quality and crispness of the celery they serve. Always cold and crispy. Perfect. Thanks!
First visit to Wyoming Wing Doozy after hearing about multiple awards and Mlive.com ratings. Was not disappointed as they are serious about wings with great bone - in size, crunch, tenderness and scratch sauces. Add in personable customer service and adult beverages for a winning formula!
Wings and fries where subpar, got three different sauces on the side none were marked so didnt know which was which didnt really matter because they all tasted the same, and fire wasnt even hot. Also purchased 3 sides of ranch that werent in the bag. When i called manager asked if i wanted to drive back. What a joke. over all much better places out there to get wings, will not be going back.
Best Wings I have ever had! Called this place after I first called BWW Super Bowl Sunday, apparently their whole system was down so they couldnt take my order? I orderd the spicy garlic chicken wings, and they are the best wings i have ever had! No exaggeration! I cant imagine Ill ever go back to BWW now that Ive tasted the food of the Gods
We hadn’t order from Wing Doozy in a long time. Called in an order on Friday and was given a time to pick up the order. They asked for my name and car make and model. Pulled up about 4 minutes early and the door opened and my order was brought to my car. WOW do they have it together! Food was hot when I got home, delicious and very affordable.I will be returning again soon!
Service was fantastic, prices were reasonable, and most important the wings and sauces were fantastic! We had boneless wings, BBQ sauce, Tennessee Bourbon, Spicy Garlic. Their fries were awesome. The boneless wings had good meat with very light breading which I loved. It’s about time a place does wings right! Gotta try this place
This place is my go to wing place. The bbq wings are amazing, and every time we go there the fries are hot, crispy, and ready when we eat in.Take out on the other hand when you get their take out the fries are cold which makes it less enjoyable.Overall its an amazing place. But if you order take out do not get the fries, they will turn out cold when you get home.
The customer service is amazing and the food is phenomenal. Everyone from the servers to the manager were completely engaged with all of the customers to ensure a fantastic experience. The buttery garlic parmesan boneless wings will leave you speechless. We will be back; best wings in West Michigan!
Food was good, a bit pricier than I anticipated, but overall a good experience. The portions were large, so you definitely can order smaller to accommodate budget. I normally eat 15-20 wings without an issue, but I stopped after 10 and took the rest home. The corn nuggets were delicious!
Wing Doozy delivers the bang for its buck. Unlike Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop, Wing Doozy’s traditional wing is juicy, meaty, and cooked to perfection. Customization for each order is a plus because I love my wings extra saucy and crispy. Wing Doozy has great customer service. Theyll always be my go-to!
Absolutely phenomenal wings and fries. Love the sauces, as well as their heat levels (a medium here would be a very hot elsewhere - just the way I like it). Their bone-in wings are king, but boneless are also quite good and meaty. The fries are great (get the Jimmy Fries!), and they also have other great sides, like the super-sized tater tots. The extra cherry on top to this place is the shelf of bourbon they have available. Highly recommended if youre looking to tear up some tasty wings.
I ordered their Tennessee bourbon traditional wings with an order of Regular doozy seasoning fries yesterday. They were both amazing! The chicken was moist and flavorful. The sauce was spot on with not being too thick or too thin. It coated the wings well. The fries had a bit of crunch but not overly crunchy. Some where in between, pair that with one of their seasonings and it was phenomenal. No dryness was found in the wings or fries.Best birthday dinner a girl could ask for. We enjoyed so much we planned to go back tonight to try a few new flavors of both wings and fries. Highly recommend!
First time having their wings today. Good quality chicken with just the right amount of breading & crunch. We tried the buffalo sauce (my husband loved it so much he said he’d drink it with a straw!) & the Tennessee bourbon (very heavy on the bourbon, decent sauce but just not to my liking. My husband gave it 4 out of 5 stars).Hands-down loved the fried Mac & cheese! Will definitely be back!
First time visiting Wing Doozy in Wyoming and definitely won’t be back. The wife and I were super excited but after this experience I’ll stick to some bdubs instead.I placed my order at 7:17 and was told it would be ready at 7:50. We got there at 7:40, and at 8:05 I decided to call and check in on our order since we hadn’t been checked in on and it was 15 minutes past the ready time. The young lady we spoke to said it would be out in 5 minutes, but at 8:15 still nothing. I called and spoke to her again and was transferred to someone else (mind you we can see everything since we’ve been sitting in front of the door the whole time). This young man said my order was cold since it had been sitting there so long so it would need to be remade. After asking to take it as is, and being repeatedly told it would need to be remade a THIRD person told me that they actually gave my order to someone else and my food wasn’t even ready. At this point it’s 8:30. So not only have I wasted an additional 40minutes but their only solution was to give me a free side or meal the next time I visited. Why on earth would I visit again after this terrible experience? I had to ask for a refund 3 times before they finally said it was ok (at first they said they couldn’t since it was past closing time) but I had already prepaid and was not interested in waiting even longer for this food to FINALLY be cooked. So now it’s 8:30 and I still have no dinner.Don’t waste your time on such poor customer service. No wings are worth that experience.
Stopped in for some wings and was pleasantly surprised. First Id like to say the entire working staff, mostly younger adults were awesome. They bring a lot of focus and pride to their craft and Im sure management is pleased to have them.I was helped by Dominick and Landon ( the taller one) both who did a good job. My wings were very good, if you like traditional hot wings, or true Buffalo style wings then this is the place to come. Pricing is very fair, the wings are really good size and will fill you up. All around good experience.
Just opened, I ordered a 12 piece wing and the wings were good sized and very good quality. The only downside is the fries. They were good quality but extremely salty. I got the salt and pepper seasoning but I couldnt even eat the fries, they were way to salty. Maybe the other seasonings are better, but beware if you get that seasoning.
I normally go here often, & never really had a “bad” experience, besides rude customer service. But I sent my friend to order some food, & they waited almost an hour for it, as well as another customer in the parking lot. They even went up to the door twice to see what was going on as it was getting close to closing & still had no update on the order, as employees were leaving w food through the front & back for themselves. I totally get that it is the weekend, & nobody wants to stay longer after closing, but customer service should always come first! Even after getting the food, no apologies or anything for what happened.
I was here about two years ago. The wings and fries were delicious. I was here yesterday (Wed, 09-15-2021). The wings were good. However, the advertised fresh cut fries were awful. I would have taken them back but I had to get my 96 year old Dad home near Kentwood High School and pick up his prescription at CVS on Eastern and 52nd in Kentwood. We were in Metro Emergency Department for about 5 hours. I live near the Gerald R. Ford Airport.
Stopped in last night. The staff was crazy friendly and helpful. We got 12 wings; 6 Parmesan garlic and 6 Asian ginger. The wings were huge and perfectly done. We also got the fish basket, and it wasnt that great. We got 3 pieces of fish that were about the width of a cigar and a ton of fries. The tartar sauce was just meh. For $10, I would think there would either be more fish, or bigger pieces. We wont be ordering that again. However, we will definitely be back. There are a bunch of other things on the menu that wed like to try. Over all, this is a great place. Just steer clear of the fish basket.
This location has gone way downhill since it opened. Its 85+ degrees outside and the air didnt seem to be on, we may have eaten there instead of taking out if it was comfortable. We ordered food, cashier didnt know menu items.as well as was having a conversation with another employee that seemed more important than our order. We sat down to wait for our take out order the tables were very sticky and dirty, given we counted 12 staff members in the back Im not sure why the dining room was neglected. No gloves used at all as well as a staff member sneezing all over with out covering. One of the front counter girls was on her cell phone the whole time. We witnessed a family come in with McDonalds for their kids (apparently that is fine with management). When our order was done we were called, we went to the counter only to be called again because no one behind the counter looked up to see we were already there to get our order. Then after we got their attention then they unpacked our order and repackaged it before giving it to us....she didnt even wait long enough to answer my question if everything was in one bag. Overall impression was that the employees were there to socialize and hang out, flirt etc. but not wait on customers. Unfortunately, we will not be back and will look for another wing place.
This is an outstanding little restaurant that would be easy to overlook in a party of a strip mall in the Metro Health complex. All of the food we had this visit was outstanding. The traditional wings were juicy but with a good crispy skin and must have come from some big chickens, cuz they were big. The chicken strips were obviously hand battered cuts off breast meat, nicely seasoned and also cooked so the breading was crispy but the meat was still very tender. The fries were great and the onion rings looked more like onion donuts.Another nice surprise was a good craft beer selection and a number of great Bourbon choices.Only suggestion I have is that a wing place needs more robust napkins! Theyre juicy, saucy, and a delicious mess... The poor little dispenser napkins dont stand a chance. 😀In summary, great first visit, and Ill be back!
Ive tried this place 3 times now, hoping it will get better but it doesnt. I order traditional with medium sauce and we order tots to split. My husband got honey bbq wings and he loved the sauce and wings. Neither of us liked the sauce on the medium wings. The tots are always way over done but they said thats how they are supposed to be, which is weird. The sauce that comes with the tots is good though. This is not my go to place for wings, but it seems like a lot of people like this place for some reason. Maybe I just need to try another sauce.
Went there for lunch break yesterday with 2 people, took over an hour after order to get food blew our lunch break was not happy. Flavors were not that great, BBQ was almost inedible(too sweet and ketchup flavor) and they add this powder to the fries that is hotter than the wings?!?!?! The buffalo flavor(way to sweet and vinegary) just didnt taste right with whatever they put on the fries had me burping up this nasty aftertaste all night..Some may like this place maybe after some beers but its not for me sorry guys wont repeat
Wont do that again! Ordered on line, 8 piece chicken and fries, when I ordered is said that there would be a 43 minute wait, for pick up! I thought I made a mistake, I called there and was told the time was right. I wasnt the only unhappy person there, I expect that this will be an unoccupied building soon.
Love the wings. The mobile order app not so much.First off, favorite place for wings as voted by my family out of 5 places we have tried. If you like boneless that are more meat than breading this is for you.The sides are excellent. TATOtots and Battered Cauliflower are crowd pleasers. Now for the downside.I often order online from this location (since we moved and this is the closest) I normally remark in the notes about sauces, seasonings, etc. last time I ordered and went to pick up a girl behind the counter snapped at me for not choosing the “plain” option for fries, as I had ticked the closest thing to plain in (salt/pepper) and remarked “FRIES- NO salt/pepper” in the order comment. For this review I have included a screenshot clearly showing “plain” to not be an option. So, nowadays I call in my order. It’s a little more of a hassle vs being able to do the online but it beats getting snipped at.
Served Wing Doozy boneless Wings for my daughters graduation party. We have had so many comments and compliments about these wings, all positive. Wing Doozy members were very helpful in answering my questions prior to my order and suggested taking these wings plain. The wings came with several bottles of sauce in different flavors. This was perfect for serving a large party as everyone likes something different. Would definitely serve again.
Not sure if I came on a bad day but I had to wait nearly a half hour for my food after arriving. This was a phoned in pick up order. The hold up was that my ticket never printed after I paid I guess. A simple accident. Not that big of a deal. Then the manager offered me a side of mozzarella sticks for my trouble which was appreciated. Then I got home to eat and both my wifes and my chicken was not good. Like over cooked or something. Very rubbery. Again, perhaps just came on a bad day. Flavor was there, customer service was fitting given the situation, just didnt like the chicken.
This place used to be good. USED TO. Im not sure whats happening, but the quality of the food is going to hell. Any time I order the doozy heat fries theres no longer any noticeable seasoning, so I started to ask for extra. This time the fries were COMPLETELY devoid of anything including salt, and my blackened wings are pale on the bottom. When I called to complain, the person on the phone seemed less than interested to know how horrendous the food was. Im done with this place. Looking forward to the next wing shop that replaces it.
Great food, but there is a laziness to the staff. They do their best to get orders out, but they make mistakes regularly when they get busy/take online orders.Wing Doozy should either shut their doors and just deliver/carry out or they need to focus on the folks that actually show up at their restaurant. Also, just so everyone can understand the amount of thime this has taken, i was able to slowly drink 2 sodas, wrote this review, and respond to 30 messages.Totally wait time: 23 min. That is rough for a quick service retaurant.
Today was my first stop into wing doozy. I ordered online & was expecting have a bit of a wait time. Turns out the wait was only about 10 minutes; that was the first stop of impressiveness. The order was ready when we got to the store. Once we got all our food home, our eyes were soo much bigger than our stomachs! The portions were insanely huge! Not at all what I expected! There’s no such thing as a small wing here. I got the spicy garlic parm wings & they were delicious! I’m usually a huge Buffalo Wild Wings fan, but I think I may have found my new favorite wing joint!
Fantastic! Wayyy better than any Wing Stop by our house in Detroit. Really wish they would come to our area. The Spicy Garlic Parmesan sauce was amazing! If you like garlic, and I mean REALLY like it, you definitely need to give that sauce a try :) It tastes like a buffalo sauce meets your typical Garlic Parmesan but with a bit more Garlic. Would love to come back one day :)
Go to BW3 dont waste your time or money with wing dozy. This was our first time here. I wouldve gave a higher rating. But our order was messed up, when my wife told the cashier it was messed up, they apologized and walked away. We were given boneless wings instead of traditional and I had a larger order of shrimp, they were about 5 mins over cooked. They were very very crispy. I doubt Ill be back.Service, Ill give one star.Wing sauce, Ill give 4 starsFood quality, Ill give 2 stars.
The Wyoming location is always clean, with friendly and customer focused staff. Food was excellent and hot. Don’t think I’ve ever had anything but top quality food when visiting any of the locations. This spot does get very busy at lunch so plan accordingly as it may take a bit longer as all chicken is cooked to order.
When I first started coming to eat here when it first opened it was spectacular wings were served fast and absolutely delicious and I almost felt like family and the pricing was right spot on today I came in the service was eh asked for blue cheese twice got ranch both times the wings were sub par at best. The staff seemed like they didnt want to be there as well. And last the pricing has jumped significantly.
Had the Game Day Special with the SQUAD. The staff was attentive giving us a solid customer experience, Logan was particularly helpful! The food spoke for itself and if you havent tried it already get your friends together and get out here. Make sure no one in your group is afraid to eat because portions served are for champions only.
Best Sauces and flavoring Ive ever had!Unfortuantely, some of the worst cooked fries and wings. You could tell right off the bat, that the fries were cooked too long at too low of a temperature. They were brown, limp (no crisp), and super greasy. The traditional wings were the same. The boneless wings were better, though they were only breaded once (not twice), and still pretty greasy. They were not spun well. But the Jimmy Fry seasons was phenominal! The best fry seasoning Ive ever had hands down. And the wing sauce (we tried quite a few), was also top notch. The food itself just wasnt preped and cooked right. My wife left feeling so sick...I was going to give it a two-stars. But the one part we loved was their pina colata slushie. It was the greatest slushie weve ever had, and we will most likely be back for it alone. I just wish the wings and fries were cooked proper.
Sprayed cleaner all over my 1 year old while we were eating after the cashier acted like we were the reason her day sucked. Food was great but after that I wont go back. Also,it was our first time there but sadly also our last. Hire cashiers that actually have the capacity to handle customers and make sure they know that wings amd chemical cleaners dont taste great together.
The wings here are the best! But the owner here is even better. They forgot a box of my wings on a large takeout order. Yet the owner actually drove them out to our location after we found out. Now that’s service you don’t get at the competition. These guys are the best
Horrible service. Waited for over an hour for my wings. Turned out my wings were sitting on a ledge by the register behind the cashier for 20 minutes. Got them cold with no apologies. If you want to wait an hour and watch the employees serve their friends (and sit and eat with them) while your food sits and gets cold and you have over an hour of your life you have nothing better to do with this is the place to be
Wings were ok. Not as spicy as I had hoped (I got the buffalo fire sauce) and most notably; the sriracha tots were dreadful. It was mushy and lacked flavor, other than the drizzle of sriracha sauce that was dripped on it.Update. I get a generic, non sympathetic response about trying a different flavor of wing flavor; with no mention of the largest issue, which was the mushy sriracha tots. The issue is, when I ordered, I asked for the hottest sauce you had. The person taking my order said, ok we will give you our buffalo. So it was your employees recommendation. Secondly, I mentioned it to the same employee that I didnt like the tots, and showed that I ate one bite. Just like the response today on google, it was discarded and all that was said was, hmmmph.
Came in around 4 wasn’t busy at all but the counter lady was playing on her phone didn’t greet us or anything. Super rude. Then another guy came out and didn’t have the nicest attitude either but whatever we ordered our food. Waited about 15 minutes which wasn’t bad at all. But the food was not great, it was ok. I’m not upset that I spent my money there but wouldn’t go there again.
While waiting for my order to be ready I watched every single person in the kitchen work WITHOUT gloves on. One woman was snacking on carrots and then walking back to touch the food (without gloves on) another woman continuously hugged and put her arms around a man who was trying to make food. They all were opening and closing cupboards with bare hands and then returning to the food. If I hadnt already paid for my food I wouldve just turned around and left Pretty sure I witnessed several health code violations not to mention I was pretty grossed outEdit: my boyfriend just surprised me with wing doozy not knowing that I refuse to eat from here after my precious experience and guess what? He was telling me how grossed out he was when he went to pick up our food because no one was wearing gloves and things are not clean and theyre touching everything and contaminating food. I said yeah I couldve warned you of that.

2022-01-22It was my first time there. Great service. All the food was perfect. Woozy sauce tastes great on anything. The chef even came out and greeted us. All of the staff seemed pretty nice. I will definitely be back when I am out that way.

2022-07-08Just sent here for the second time ever. Chicken is incredible. I got boneless wings, it’s all pure white meat chicken with none of that weird grizzle you get at other chicken places. I screwed up when ordering online, and they still remade my food. Incredible food, incredible staff, and great customer service!

2022-06-04Family favorite. Never had a bad sauce yet, with lots of variety but not so much it becomes overwhelming. The fried pickles and fried beans are awesome sides.

2022-01-24I ordered wings to be ready at 7:05. My husband went and got there at 7:00 told him it wasnt quite done yet. He waited another 25 minutes and the girl up front brought them out and told my husband they had been sitting there since 4:30. My husband asked if they could remake them and the cooks gave br a hard time and said they just made them. They were ice cold. Very disappointed.

2022-03-23Honestly, if I didnt have to give it any stars I wouldnt. Thoroughly disappointed and its my first time trying them. I ordered the seasoned chicken stripes (they werent seasoned at all, in my opinion) and the Tatotot, for which I had high hopes because its potatoes, right? You cant go wrong with potatoes, apparently you can. They were fried hard and they too didnt seem like they were seasoned. Unfortunately, this will be my only time eating from there.

2019-10-23Wing Doozy has Great Boneless chicken wings which are quality chunks of chicken with little to no breading along with other great options. Sweet BBQ is really sweet and Tennessee Bourbon is great! Fries are excellent with pepper and salt seasoning. The Food was Excellent. Overall good atmosphere with plenty of Screens. Wing Doozy is a great addition to the Wyoming area market place; I would Recommend a visit or they also do great with take-out option.

2017-09-05Great food and very friendly owners. Highly recommend the Portabella fingers(Hand battered Portabella mushrooms) and doozy sauce! The wings are big and very tasty and so are the fries! We also really liked the homemade ranch. The meal deals are very affordable along with happy hour food specials! We will definitely be back again! And if you like bourbon, they have an extensive bourbon menu. And kids eat free on Monday and Tuesday!
