Wing Snob in other cities:
Was excited to see this on my door dash! Every single item we ordered was fresh and tasted amazing! The corn bread was probably one of the best I’ve had! Chicken wings crisp and they were not cheap on the sauce! Even the to go packaging is good quality! Will def be ordering again!
Was at a car dealership speaking about a new vehicle purchase. A food delivery guy came up and salesman took the food. Looked at me and asked if I would like any as one of his customer’s purchased it for him. He had just ate. I was definitely starving. All I can say, Gotta Check Them Out! I Will Be Soon😜!!
Stopped here today for the first time. It was fantastic. I ate in store and the wings were hot, fresh, and crispy. My order was a 10 piece meal (includes a side and drink) for about $15. Ordering 10 wings allowed me to get two sauces. I did the Lemon Pepper and the Hot AF. Both flavors were delicious (although the lemon might have been a bad choice with the Hot AF). The Hot AF was hot, but not unbearable. Had a lot of backend heat the built up as I ate more. What a great lunch. 10 wings might have been a bit much in the end, but I wanted to try 2 sauces. They had more than enough fries with the meal.NOTE: It was very busy for lunch. Lots of pickup orders and people waiting inside for orders.
Cool place just recently opened up. Friendly staff. We had the take out. Dine-in experience seems good.Big portion on the boneless which is a big thumbs up.However the sauce on my was just okay. I added ranch. But that ranch dip is thin and just not right. We also ordered traditional wings. sweet chili sauce was very very good. Garlic Parmesan fries are out of this world.Google won’t let me do 4.5 stars otherwise I would. Hopefully someone is reading this and change that ranch recipe.
It was a new restaurant in my area so I wanted to give it a try. I got a carry out order. The staff was super friendly and the place was clean. Food was great but I felt like it was very pricey for what you get. I got 12 wings and a side of fries for $18, drink not included. This place has a lot of potential but for the price, didnt quite seem worth it. Id still recommend trying this place as the food was good. Advice for the owners, the GM tech center is 3 miles down the road. Improve the lunch menu with better specials and you could get customers from the GM lunch crowd.
After months of wanting to try this place, I have decided it wasnt worth the wait.Ordered the 8pc meal deal.Wings: Tiny, overcooked, and tough. Also, only one flat in the entire box? Ridiculous.Fries: Undercooked and had the crunch of a raw potato.20oz Soda I paid $0.50 extra for: Forgotten.Ranch I paid extra for: Missing.Tip given: Regretful. This was a $22 mistake.
I REALLY wanted to like this place. However, I have to be honest. I had much better wings from a number of other places. This is my opinion, I definitely want people to go and try it out for themselves. First, the wingdings were small which is a no no for me. If you going to charge above average prices at least have big size wingdings. Next they where cook TOO hard. Another no no for me. If I have to pull hard to take the meat off the bone its not worth it. The chilli fries where ok but the chilli sauce could had been a lot better. Just by myself it was a little over $15 and thats for 8 bone in wingdings, chilli fries, and a drink. Over all I dont believe my meal should had cost that. For the quality of food, I would have said it should cost me 9 to 10 dollars. Well at least I tried this place and now I know!
GREAT FOOD GREAT ESTABLISHMENT SUPERB SERVICE!!! I went there for the first time with my husband, son and daughter we were SUPER indecisive and had a ton of questions. The young man whom I later found out was the owner was phenomenal he stayed patient and kind (genuinely) and the other young lady whom was his sister was equally as patient kind and attentive! The wings here are a cut above ANYWHERE ELSE chicken was juicy and flavorful Cajun fries spicy and hot!!! Great job guys this is how you operate a business and treat people a lot of places could learn a thing or two from you🤩🤩
So I already rated this place previously 5 star but this time I was meeting y boyfriends family for the first time. It was Sunday so what better choice than bring wings for football. After we eat the dad goes - consider yourself part of the family. Im telling you... it was the wings that won him over.
Wings themselves were pretty good. The service was lacking. I ordered the wings dry, sauce on the side. They came slathered in sauce. I asked them to remake it, which they did. And gave me the second order slathered in sauce... with a side of sauce. At which point I had to go to work. Wings were good tho.
Wings were tough & not done all the way. Some tasted burnt. Ask for 4 Chicken tenders & fries & they didnt give me the fries. When I asked about my fry they said I could add it on for another $3 after I already asked & paid. Service was horrible & they girl taking my order acted is if she didnt want to be there. Another place I will never eat at when visiting Detroit.
I have been here twice now and their staff has been great both times. The wings are great and quick. French fries were perfect as well. The sliders are very good as well with just enough chicken. The only issue I would say was the roll for the slider was cold but the chicken was fresh and hot so it was still delicious.
Generally speaking, love this place, HOWEVER, they were super unprepared for Superbowl. We ordered 3 days early for Superbowl Sunday, 100 plain wings with sauces on side, to be picked up at 5:30. At 7:00 we FINALLY received an order, NOT OUR ORDER, of wings tossed in mainly spicy sauces. Didnt count how many, so I dont know if we actually got the full 100. Would not order again for any type of event.
Yo! This place is so good! The wings are perfect. The boneless are tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, the fries are crisp, and made with care, the bone in wings are made so beautifully that irs sometimes hard not to buy 50-100 wings. If you’re a wing lover like myself, go to this place. NOW!
I love this place. The wings are good and I like that the boneless tenders are cut up breast meat instead of formed tenders. The the different flavored fries are good too. The only con I have is that the food is too greasy. My fries are always sitting in grease and the chicken isn’t all the way drained .
The service was great. Food was estimated to be a 10 minute wait, which ended up being true. The issue is this is a wing place, they have no special sauces just your normal sauces you would expect at any bar. The quality of the wings were great but like I said it was just with normal nothing special sauces. The garlic fries were alright but nothing special. The last issue I had with this place is the price. They have a few meal deals but by the time you get a drink and another sauce youre looking at a 12 dollar lunch for only 6 wings and fries. Just seems like you can get a lot more bang for your buck else where especially if youre looking to have just wings.
For $65 expectations were set high. Order ended up being screwed up when only one order of wings was supposed to be boneless and the rest bone-in..they gave us all boneless. Couldn’t tell the difference between sweet chili, awesome sauce and mango habanero. Maybe next time I’ll just order their fries, At least those were good..but then again probably not.
If I could give Wing Snob MORE than five stars I would. The service was very good and the wings were crazy, on-another-level great. I got the eight-piece boneless wings seasoned with a delicious lemon pepper glaze. My son got a 10-piece meal with traditional wings; half seasoned with a sweet, Chicken and Waffle sauce, and half with a spicy mango sauce. The chicken is really tender and juicy and the fries are perfectly crisp with a seasoning so satisfying I didnt dip them but one time in ranch dressing (their ranch is really good by the way) before deciding they didnt need any condiments masking the flavor! If you like Wing Stop you will absolutely LOVE Wing Snob.
Customer service was great! Above and beyond. I love really loved the sauce (Awesome sauce) it’s a Carolina gold based sauces. The wings I got were boneless and they were huge. They looked like mini barbecue chicken breast bites - that’s the best way to describe them, but they could’ve been better. The sauce makes the wings. I’ll return.
It was good, but not great. Not really any better than frozen store bought wings. The dipping sauce (ranch) is super runny. Prices are a little on the high side... like $2 for a tiny piece of corn bread... this is a fast food atmosphere, and keep in mind you can get glazed tenders from McDonalds now.
First time at the place, not that bad I have to say. The restaurant was nice and not that cluttered, the wings were good, wait time want long, and customer service was solid. Why it didnt get 5 stars was that I wish they had a bigger selection of wings and sauces, though it does make it an easier decision. The restaurant wasnt that big, either. To sum it up, Id say its a solid restaurant, though it doesnt excell in any area in particular. Would recommend.
It was my first time here tonight and let me tell you!!! The Parmesan fries are delectable!!! I had Parmesan/Garlic and Teriyaki boneless wings, also DELISH!!! The boneless wings are actually chicken breast meat (slightly disappointed because I prefer dark meat), but they were SO TASTY, moist and large enough to satisfy a big appetite with just 4 pieces...and I got a 10 piece for less than $10. So the price is great as well.Staff are professional, patient and exercising great hygiene with masks. An extremely important issue for me.I will definitely be back, over & over again!
So the wings are pretty massive and meaty. So if I was to rate the wings themselves I would give them like a 5. Tried the cauliflower wings and I dont know what I expected but it wasnt that. It was just whole cauliflower battered in Wing breading. I thought maybe they would have been like vegan wings but with cauliflower. What really kind of dropped the rating for me its the sauces. They have a few basic sauces and a lot of variations of barbecue. Two friends and I sampled to Flavors each and we tried them all. We were almost the unimpressed with actual sauces. The chicken and waffles sauce I think its honestly just syrup. I got the snobby sauce and really just honey BBQ mix with a lot of mustard. Didnt taste a difference between the BBQ and honey BBQ. The dry rub snobby salts I think its literally just salt. While I wouldnt say it was bad I just dont see myself going back especially for the high price point. I feel like I could get better wings at a little bit cheaper of a cost.
The place was very nice and clean. The staff was super friendly! The chill cheese fries were delicious! I will be returning today for more. I hope they dont disappoint. The wings were ok. They were kind of bland. We got the garlic parmesan flavor. I will try a different flavor next time.
We ordered delivery from this location and it was very disappointing. There was not enough sauce on the wings and did not taste very good. Compared to other wings restaurants and takeout counters, this place is pretty abysmal and not worth the wait nor the money. When we ordered delivery from this location they got the order incorrect, and when we contacted them about the issues, they refused to remake the order and flat out refused to take any responsibility for it. This is frankly very unprofessional and I have never been met with this gross lack of focus on customer service.Diners beware!
Wings were okay. They were a decent size but overpriced. I got mango habanero and Hot AF. Hot AF was the biggest disappointment very bland flavor and not hot at all. They have potential but need to work on their spicy options. Probably wont be back anytime soon as there are much better options in the area. I understand that not everyone enjoys spicy food as much as I do but still expect more from something called Hot AF which would be medium at best at any local bar.
Cajun french fries 🍟 outstanding coleslaw pretty tasty chicken wings a little let down. Im from Missouri and have been trying different restaurants in the area. I have yet to find anything as good as Coney island or jims tavern hot wings and coleslaw. In other words yall have nothing to be snobby about.
Took about 40 minutes to get the wings with only 2 people ordering before me. Ordered mango habanero boneless wings and fries. Wings were over cooked and quite dry, while the sauce didnt have much flavor at all. The seasoned fries were great. Order the food to go, the music was loud enough where you had to be within a foot to hear someone well. Overall not a great experience and Ill just stick to making the trip to sweetwater.
My husband and I decided to try this place last night. We thought the prices were pretty high - $28 for 24 wings... but we thought hey maybe theyll be out of this world. We ordered all parmesan garlic, and at the register they told us it would be an additional $0.89 if we wanted ranch. $28 for wings and it doesnt come with ranch?? We were annoyed, but paid for a couple ranches and went on our way. We got home and the wings were DRY. No sauce whatsoever, just a sprinkling of parmesan cheese. They were also extremely overcooked and tough. We could hardly eat them. Major disappointment and waste of money.
Wings are very good. Nice size wings, definitely not small. Sauces are excellent. Always get sweet chilli and teriyaki. Recently tried their cajun fries, very good as well. Only eat their wings whenever I order carryout wings. Much better than Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop. Yes they cost more, but....you get what you pay for
Great place for wings, the only place that has tai chili flavored wings better than atomic wings in New York, which was my go to for a while when I was working there for 3 months.Very friendly staff and they are all doing their best to keep customers safe during this crazy time, lots of handwashing behind the counter, and mask game is on point.
So it is a new restaurant in the area (Sterling Heights) so we wanted to check it out. Sorry we did. First the online menu was terrible and we thought we were doing the best value but when we got to the restaurant we found out that we had to pay extra for everything. The cashier was “nice” enough to point that if we ordered the fan pack we wouldn’t have had to pay for the extras. But was tooooo rude to suggest we could get that instead. (Very helpful). Then when we got back home we found out that they had forgotten the fries which we had paid extra for. In addition they did not mark any of the boxes so we had to determine which was sweet chili and which was habanero mango (not cool). When we called about the fries the person who answered the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE! He basically made us feel it was our fault they were forgotten. Then when we ate the wings we found out that the sauces we paid extra for were spoiled and needed to be thrown away. Then quite a few of our wings had a bad flavor. We will not be back. Please think twice before ordering from this location.
Review is for the Sterling Heights location. Nice atmosphere, clean, and friendly staff. However, very disappointed in the WINGS! The wings (boneless and traditional) were dry and buffalo sauce was rather tasteless. Went to Livonia location about 1 yr ago a few times. Loved it. Giving 2 stars for the positives listed in the beginning of this review.
Second time coming here after placing a large order and they got the order wrong again. If you are coming in for a max of 2 meals...its okay. If its a large order for 4 or more people, dont bother. Boxes not labeled and they missed over 5 meals! I will never come to this location again.
I waited 2 hrs for picking up 1 item order for the grubhub customer. The store was backlog with orders because there were a lot of people waiting for their orders .I called the customer to inform him about the long wait but he didnt want to cancel so i didnt have the choice but to wait.i missed 5 orders because i waited too long.
Place is nice looking although small only 5/6 tables mostly carryout , Wings are nothing special i got the 50/50 little over $1 each wing kind of pricey , flavors were good but nothing crazy parmesan garlic tasted like butter, was very excited to see a new local owned restaurant to open up but most likely wont be back ...also ranch or blu cheese should not cost extra when ordering wings every wing place gives one free ranch or blu cheese , ranch is also very watery and not right for wings

2022-02-27Great boneless wings I stop by at least once a week. I have tried every flavor, Sweet chill is the best. The staff greets you as soon as you enter and they are friendly. I recommend this location. Their wings may cost a little more but they are worth it.

2022-06-23So my first time here and 50 dollars for 30 wings and french fries, they where really good but if you have the better wings selling for a premiun price, free ranch is not going to break you ( $1 each dipping sauce).Over all food is really good but expensive for what you get.

2022-05-08Delicious food all around. Great chicken and fries. Service was awesome and quick. Really enjoyed the 50/50 deal where you can get half boneless and regular wings. Plenty of different sauces to choose from. The best was getting big chunks of boneless chicken instead of small pieces with a bunch of batter. The coating was great. Not heavy or overcooked. I will be back.

2022-08-02I got the garlic parmesan original wings and fries and they didn’t really have a garlic flavor that I was expecting. The wings were just salty. I did love how their fries were made. My boyfriend got boneless and said his were over cooked and dry. I really think I’d have to try a different flavor and most likely a wet sauce next time

2021-03-15Worst meal I have had in awhile! Wings were over cooked and too chewy. Tenders were pink inside in some areas and also chewy. Breading had no flavor. Not good! Fries were all greasy! Grease all pooled in the bottom. Left a grease film on my tongue! Sauce was good at least.

2021-07-17I prefer the wings here over wing stop and probably even BWW as well. Theyre bigger and cooked just right. Ive tried almost every sauce and have liked all of them. The fries are delicious (especially the parm garlic). Service has been prompt as well. My only suggestion would be to include a wet nap in the bag on to-go orders.

2022-08-07If your looking for good boneless wings go elsewhere. Chicken is overcooked and stringy and chewy. This is what happens when you overcook chicken. Did not even finish the meal it was so bad.Fries were the bright spot. Hot crisp and flavorful. Maybe turn the place into a poutine restaurant.Pepsi products are offered. Also to note music is quite loud. I mean really loud. Could not hold a conversation with my company.Too many wing options in metro Detroit. This one is truly forgettable.

2020-09-25This is our go to for wings. They are the best around. The boneless wings are huge and the honey mustard flavor is my favorite. They are juicy and full of flavor. The chili cheese fries are fantastic. Crispy fries, chili and real shredded cheese, not that cheese sauce. Give the cornbread a try too. You absolutely get what you pay for.The restaurant was empty today (a few carry out orders) and our food was ready in 10 minutes. Always clean and everyone is friendly. Highly recommend.

2022-07-02We really liked the Mango Habenaro. All wings had a good amount of sauce. Service was average and polite. Indoor dinning but mostly carry out. We would come again if we lived in the area.

2022-05-18The food is good here. However I just went to order and they forced approximately a 15%-18% Service Tip just for ordering online. Im picking the food up myself. You can afford to pay employees when you charge $10 for a 6-piece man. Wont eat here again.
