BEST hotel I have ever stayed at. We got 3 rooms, 2 weeks for our crew and there wasnt one complaint . Very clean!. Staff is amazing! Heather was the best tho :) always willing to go the extra mile for us. Its been a pleasure doing business with you guys!
The location of this hotel was probably the best part. This is also probably one of the most cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at. The only cons I have is it was pretty noisy and there was some confusion when it came to check out. I had chose a late check out option and was woken up by the staff that I needed to leave abruptly because someone else was getting my room. This was quite frustrating and very inconvenient for me. Based on this alone, I’m not sure I would stay here again.
10/10 I recommend!!I love love love this hotel! The rooms are so thoughtfully created (ex: wall plugs that have USB plug in in the middle. So my lap top, heating pad and phone can charge right at the desk where I am sitting same time). I can tell the hotel is new or rooms recently renovated. I appreciate the laminate floors because who has ever said, “ oooh I can’t wait to dig my toes into the billion year old hotel carpet”?🤢….. The rooms feel like a small studio apt. They have full size fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. Also come with two sets of dinnerware/cups and a few pots! There is also a 24/7 washer/dryer area for guest that takes coin AND cards!I really love that every entrance is key card entry even the lobby area you can’t just walk on into where the rooms are. That feels more secure to me. The area is safe, feels tucked away but predominantly a business area. There is restaurants and stores within two miles.Lastly! The staff is sooo incredibly nice. I’ve only seen the manager in passing but I spoke with Heather and Shea who were absolutely awesome! Shea made me aware of a travel nurse deal that was going on that I wasn’t aware of and this got me a MAJOR discount on the room. Heather is also just so sweet and you can tell she takes pride in her job, nothing is above her doing. I’ve seen her pick the trash bags up near the dumpster and dog poop from the halls and sprayed it with Lysol. She is kind and patient.I plan to stay here anytime I am visiting Michigan family.
The general manager is a complete tool. Hes very rude and lack compassion. Tried to cancel my room, but I had to wait until he got to work. Which was 11pm for him to tell me I have to pay for a day I never checked in. I was trying to cancel the room all day but no one could over ride it but him. He was unpleasant to say the least. Do better people customer service is very important.
The room was clean and spacious. Its not too loud either and we were able to sleep well here. You may experience some barking though, as the hotel allows animals. The combo bathtub/shower is a little cramped if youre with someone else. Might be better to go for the roll-in shower if youre fine not having a bath. Its definitely nice having the kitchenette so you dont have to order food every day. We stayed here for almost 3 weeks, so this was definitely helpful. Theres plenty of restaurants nearby though if you dont feel like cooking. You can also grab some snacks/drinks from the first-floor vending machines. The staff was amazing during our whole stay. One time our heater broke and maintenance fixed it within an hour or so. The only negative thing I can think of is the internet. Even the premium was slow (10 mb/s) with very high ping (100+). And that was $15 / week. The owner should definitely look into getting better internet. Other than that, we had a really great experience at this hotel. We highly recommend staying here!
Great place/Little Rest, been going on 2 months now, first two weeks I had complained to front desk personally and on the phone, the person above me drags the bed or chairs across the floor constantly from 6:30-9-9:30 daily, sometimes from 1:30-3:30am, they said they would say something, or they could just move me, I am here for 8 months so I don’t pack light, still here and no change. I am working here and in conversation with a worker, he told me he was in the same room and had to move because the guy above did the same thing, he said he complained and they did nothing so he moved to a new room. I can live with the kids running and screaming up and down the halls, it don’t last. Really nice place though.Update 5/18/2021, since 1:45 am the tenant above is at it again, I am now convinced this is intentional. It is now 3:07 am and still going on. Stomping feet and dragging something across the floor, like the bed, I have tried to duplicate the noise and the only thing that comes close is pushing the bed across the floor.
This is a good, no frills extended stay hotel. The rooms remind me of dorm rooms and have a stovetop, fridge, and microwave. There is also plenty of shelving for your personal belongings and a smart TV in the room. There is also onsite laundry and a fitness room, Staff are helpful and friendly. Good wifi. I was able to have multiple Zoom videoconference calls with no problem. I had a problem with a noisy family early in my stay, but the staff handled it promptly and I had no further issues. The facility is brand new and very clean. I would stay here again.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Dirty floor, hair everywhere, room not cleaned. They gave me a room that was not cleaned at all with makeup on the blankets. Shower pressure is very low and it feels unsafe. People are standing out the building smoking, yelling and the wall are very thin u can hear everything on the next door.
There was a delay on my flight and they cancelled all of my 8 nights booking without any notice while it was mentioned in the reservation email that the room will be held till 7:00 AM of the following day.They didnt even let me in at night and was told to come back tomorrow by 7:00 AM. And, it was when I figured my booking has been cancelled.Then, I saw they had available rooms for higher prices at the same time.Its totally a scam.
The worst hotel ever. The thinnest walls ever created on earth, and of course I got the room next to the child who is screaming non stop at 5 in the morning everyday.
These people are friendly, they love kids and the rooms are clean/new! They encourage childrens play and homeschooling.😍
My stay here as been excellent. There was review left under my name that wasnt mine. I had to buy a new phone it was lost. Im guessing whoever took it was a jerk and put a fake review on to make it look as if it was his phone when i gps my location of my phone. Unfortunately its out of state. So agai. The review left under my name was fake. Ive had nothing but great experiences here. The bad review which i was notifies through my email that there was one under my name. Again that wasnt real nor was it me. This place is awesome so is the staff.
The thinnest walls imaginable. The room above us sounded like they were playing full court basketball with all of the running and they conversations were audible to us below. Its as though the engineers designed the floors like a drumhead.The refrigerator sang the song of its people all night. Among the worst nights Ive ever had.If you can go anywhere else, you should.

They should thank me for updating the address!You cannot receive a delivery package do to management not addressing this address issue!-I work in hospitality and consulting industry it is key to provide a correct address to attract prospective guests in a corridor that has competition!Signage is important! Cheap small digital display sign on east bldg. is a wasted investment! Invest in a directional rd. sign off Haggerty!- Im a professional of 30 yrs. They should hire a professional to oversee their property builds!They opened in October. Its quite because no one can find it!

Reminds me of a college dorm. Walk the hallways and youll hear extremely loud stereos, full blast televisions with no regard to neighbors, and the smell of weed. Not worth the price.

So far we couldnt be happier... From the staff, to the clean and open room, to the amenities, it has it all. Honestly, you will not find a better extended visit hotel for at least 150 miles. Highly recommended!!

2022-02-25I would give 0 stars if I could. Looking at the new reviews it looks like the hotel is still being ran the same.Word of caution from a former employee, if you pay for anyone elses room while staying here expect to pay for it every time that person owes money. I couldnt tell you how many times after I left the hotel from staying there and working around the clock there that I still received charges to my debit card to the point the hotel wiped out my inheritance of 20k.I had brought it to the attention of multiple coworkers and to Scott to get told thats just how it is I agreed to pay before so my card is on file for multiple other rooms and will keep getting charged if the guests dont pay. One guest had a 1st floor room, which at this hotel is one of the most expensive rooms. This same guest would hoard towels and pillows ect of hotel property in his room and is best friends with the lady at the front desk Heather. I was 26 at the time this hotel robbed me knowing I have a child who just turned 3 this past Sunday.Also if your thinking of working here I wouldnt. Unless your willing to pull doubles all the time and not be able to take days off as they are always short staffed and employees who worked there before me didnt seem like cleaning the hotel was on their list to do, so whoever is the hardest working there gets more rooms to clean and cleans all public areas, or at least if your in housekeeping thats what will happen to you. If you complain about anything it wont matter, nothing will get resolved until you just cut your losses and run.My review is of my experience last spring at the hotel. Thank you Woodspring Suites for being the worst place to work and stay.

2022-05-05The room is very small,but we got along with it, poor cleaning services once every two weeks . i asked for vacuume cleaner because sure there is no place in the room to store and by oneand they just refused to give me. every day a blockage in the sink or toilet, and differnces in price from bill to bill - situation that makes me feel uneven and not properly managed. i am disappointed.

2022-02-21DONT STAY HERE!!! EVERY SINGLE ROOM LEAKS AND HAS MOLD GROWING. MANAGER WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND WONT REFUND YOUR MONEY EITHER.YOU HAVE BEEN ENLIGHTENED !!!!! Owner responded to my review and said these claims arent legit.... look at the pics!!!! We had a total of 3 different rooms..SAME problem in all rooms. Manager called me a liar.I expected a refund and instead was called names..How sad!

2022-02-11The SPIRIT AIRLINES of hotels. Horrible service, everything is extra. Wifi is extra, utensils for the kitchen is extra, they clean the room every other week, manager is rude. Walls are thin, and windows are low quality. The traffic noise from I-275 can be heard all day long.

2021-10-21Management & maintenance staff blatantly & casually violate guest rights to privacy!!A maintenance worker tried to force entry into my wifes room while she was showering & completely unclothed due, to a leak coming through the ceiling in the room below.She told him she needed 15 minutes to get dressed but despite her protestations, he unlocked the door and tried to enter.Only the emergency door stop prevented him from opening the door fully and entering the room. (seriously, no one on staff bright enough to check if the leak stopped after she shutoff the shower!!!??)The hotel management seemed to be delusional enough to think entry was within their right, did not apologize to my wife, and would do no more than give us a phone number for their corporate guest relations.It took me an hour on hold to speak to guest relations, and they opened an case, which was absurdly forwarded back to the same hotel management for review. Guest relations either had no capacity or willingness to escalate further!!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!EDIT: I rest my case with this flatly dense response from Scott Robinson General Manager. Sir what YOU need to understand is that outside of immediate threat to life, there is NO URGENCY which requires forced entry to a womans room while she is unclothed, and over her clear and heard protestations! Your guests, PEOPLE, are more important than your PROPERTY!!!!

2021-12-02My kids and I came in from Oklahoma, stayed a week and a half for Thanksgiving. The service there was great, all staff was very friendly and kind. Heather was a joy! The room was clean and free from any bugs. We did have an issue with our AC where it would make loud noises when on but maintenance fixed it. It started to snow so we left a day early in which I couldnt get a refund but other than that everything was great.

2021-12-17Power went out in area, I checked in on 12/11 at 5 pm. Smells like weed everywhere, you can hear everything your neighbors do and most of what they say. I asked what time checkout was and front desk guy confidently told me between 10 and 1 pm. While its 45 degrees outside still warm in room, had to turn AC on to cool off and drown out noise from highway 275. I TOLD THEM A MAY STAY ANOTHER NIGHT WHILE I WAS CHECKING IN, ALSO BECAUSE POWER WAS OUT. NEXT AM, POUNDING ON DOOR ON 2 SEPERATE TIMES!!! PHONE CALLS THREATENING ME WITH FORCED EVICTION. Do yourself a favor, dont stay there. Why they would build a hotel there so close to the highway and not soundproof the entire building is crazy, plus they allow smoking AND EMPLOYEES THREATENING GUESTS.

2021-07-08We stay in Woodspring Suites quite often since we travel a lot. Some are hit and misses, but this one has to be one of the best ones we’ve ever stayed in! It has spacious parking & doesn’t seem sketchy like some we’ve previously stayed in in other states. The guy who checked us in was polite as well. The room we checked into was a 1 bed & it was very spacious compared to other beds we usually get! The room was very clean & it was quiet during night hours to get some great nights sleep! Overall, our stay was very good & we would book again if we needed to! We definitely recommend staying here for vacation or out of town stays!

2021-03-14Marcus, was my first impression of this establishment. After a horrible experience 8 miles down the road I stumbled across this place. Marcus Invited me to come in and check out a room without obligation. I’m in town for work, and seeking any homestyle comfort I can find. The dishwasher is an amazing touch as we often work 60 hours a week. The shower is very big and spacious, also the bathroom is large. The kitchenette is perfect for what I need, I did bring my own crock pot and air fryer. The room Is equipped with a smart TV and plenty of storage for clothes and food. even the little chair by the bed is much more comfortable than expected. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a safe place to stay without sacrifice and comfort.
