Had a nice stay but need few improvement. The person that redesign the room should replace the bathroom door with sliding door.cause rite now the door wont close unless u lift the toilet seat up. The amenities superb.i love the green tea smell in hallway going to my room
Visit was ok, the water park is permanently closed, 2 elevators didnt work, one of the rooms had a fire in it, and the fire alarms didnt work. The only thing keeping it a good rating is the staff there. I pulled a stupid move and left my Nintendo switch in the room so I got a hold of the front desk and they mailed it back after I paid the small fee for shipping. They could have easily walked away with $800+ worth of switch, games, and a pro controller but thankfully that wasnt the case. Thank you very much to the employee who helped me out with that!
I was at this location for a family reunion 08/03/2019. I registered for my room took my suitcase up only to find bugs in the tub and a dirty used washcloth hanging on the shower rod. needless to say the front desk assigned me to another room which had no working television and very worn chair.I was informed on checking out that there was no charge because of the inconveniences I had experienced. I requested a receipt but was told I could not receive a receipt if there was no charge. Well surprise surprise my credit card was billed 403.41.I have left several messages with no return calls or the manager is not available. Dont stay!!
Worst hotel experience in a long time. Visited for my family reunion and I think we were the only people at the hotel because obviously everyone else knew not to stay there. The rooms all had a strong mildew smell. My first room was so bad I tried to hang in there but ended up moving rooms the next day. There was a shortage on clean towels only 2 towel sets for a room of four. Finally the front desk lady put some towels aside for me because I would still be waiting to receive from housekeeping. The waterpark was closed half the time we were there because of no staff so of course the kids were bored. They had an event on Saturday where they gave out hamsters to the kids in paper boxes instead of cages and of course one was running loose in the halls. Luckily maintenance reacted quickly to capture it. Most of the guest were complaining about the hotel. One of my cousins had to make her own ADA accommodations because the hotel failed to provide. Breakfast was included but I opted to pay for a decent meal than eat in that restaurant again. The banquet was a good experience the waitstaff were awesome and the food was pretty good. Overall they need to close this place down and ask The Profit to come show how a business should be run.
I will never stay here again, it was the worst stay ever. The white male operations manager was rude as hell. The hallways smell like nothing but weed. In the room next to me and across from me had at least 20 people in each room. People drinking and smoking outside of door 6 and 7. I never been to such a Ghetto hotel in my Life. They dont even clean the rooms properly. No towels because there excuse was that they were being washed. NASTY, NASTY, NEVER AGAIN. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
Had to leave! We tried to take our two young kids down for a day at the water park as a fun getaway as a family... this is not the place for young kids. The hotel and the customer service is atrocious. The room was dirty, with other guests hair and trash throughout. The water park (that doesn’t open until 4) only had half the features functioning and the “arcade” they show prominently in the pictures doesn’t exist, instead you have five machines shoved in the back of the run down restaurant attached to the hotel, three of which didn’t work. A guest got sick in the hallway, we notified the front desk and two hours later all they’d done was throw a towel over it. As we’re getting ready to put our kids to bed, the entire second floor smelled of marijuana. We packed the kids up and checked out. I notified the front desk as we departed, they expressed zero concern, did not apologize and the “manager” simply shrugged and told me “I can’t control puke and I can’t control pot”. Save you money on a hotel that values your business, this hotel is not what it appears.
Me and the family had a blast will be coming back very soon since the girls are waterbugs. The staff was very friendly and helpful with great deals and discounts. The pool area was nice just like 4+ years ago with great life guards watching the kids. My room was nice and clean and very spacious refrigerator.
I was very disappointed in my stay at this hotel. I got locked into my room for over a hour and was disappointed there were no towels or life jackets at the pool. The life guard staff to me was lazy and didnt do their job properly. Kids were going down the slide who werent tall enough and no life guard paying attention. There were kids fighting and horsing around in the pool and nothing was said when there little kids around. I was told there was an arcade but its in the restaurant and about 4 games that worked. The buffet style breakfast was not worth the money. The pillows were small and lumpy so a good nights rest was not in the picture. I did feel it wasnt as clean as it should have been either. However the management staff was very accommodating and did everything they could possible to make us comfortable.
I was visiting a family member in the area and was staying for one night. Thank God it was only one night. From the lobby, this looks like a decent hotel. Once you get in the guest rooms, it looks like a 1 hour joint. In our room, there was a mysterious red stain on the carpet close to the door. I’m not speculating as to what it was, but a red stain on the carpet is not a good look. The bathroom was dirty and the tub from the bottom was breaking apart. Both the bathroom door as well as the front door takes a lot of effort to open and close, as they get stuck. This hotel is in need of a lot of maintenance and updating. I hope the management of the hotel reads these reviews and takes heed to the complaints of the hotel guests.
This was the worst place I have ever stayed. We ended up leaving. I reserved 3 rooms and all 3 looked like they had not been cleaned in a month. One room had hair on the mattress and pee stained sheets. The 2nd room had monopoly money and trash throughout the room. And the third had trash in the pull out sofa. Never will I stay there again.
The water area is okay for the kids but there is nothing for the adults to do. They took out the 2 hottubs they had, which is a deal breaker for us. The restroom in the pool area was not clean, there was no toilet paper in the stall and it smelled like a dirty diaper. Also the restaurant was odd. We walked in and saw nobody working so we found a table and when someone finally came over they asked if we had tickets for the breakfast buffet. We had no idea about any tickets or a breakfast being included with our overnight stay. So a couple pulled us aside and said the food was awful and not worth $10.00 per person so we ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Overall it was okay. Our room was pretty clean and stocked but the TV wasnt working properly and the electric wiring seemed off, the lights shorted out when my husband tried to fix the TV. Also the heat 8n the room was not working well. Overall is was just ok, if given the choice to go to another hotel with a water area I probably wouldnt come here.
The staff was rude. The dishes were dirty. One girl had plastic and hair in her food. It took an hour to get the main course after the salad and bread were served. The sound system was minimal. They gave us one speaker for a room that held over 500 people. This center was great 10 years ago when we had our wedding reception there. Now the place is in poor shape. The sky walk is being torn down. They should have closed to remodel and then reopened.
Great hotel stay! I was very impressed with the quality of service. We booked a room for the water park. Lifeguards were present in the pool area, pool water was checked frequently, clean comfortable room. Our children loved it, and we will book again. Bret at the front desk gave superior customer service! A family friendly hotel, so expect lots of children and noise during pool hours. Highly Recommend for a family getaway.
I attended a party in the banquet room. The lobby and banquet room was very clean and looked nice. I liked the fountain in the center of the lobby as well. The restrooms were clean and large. The only thing that I did notice that needed some attention was a leak from the ceiling onto the carpet on my way to the restroom.
I gave this hotel two stars because it had hot water and a bed. This place was not clean, the basic amenities like the tv didnt work, the heater made a loud sound like a vacuum all night long. The one plus was that the young lady that worked the front desk was extremely nice and professional but you could see the look on her face that she really had nothing to offer us. I was in the area for some training so the job covered the bill but this place wasnt even tolerable for it to have been free. I had to contact my job so that they could change to another hotel. Needless to say I wont be back.
The room was clean and nice. The bathroom seemed okay. The hotel itself definitely seemed to be falling apart around us though. When we first got there, there was a mom with her kids at the front desk telling the employees that they had just been stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes. The door to get into our side of the building never worked. The fire alarm went off for 10 seconds in the middle of the night for no reason. The water park area seemed run down, most of the fountains werent actively spraying. There was dirt and grit on the floor in the kids pool area. Overall it was a disappointing experience. I used to love going there when I was younger and couldnt wait to bring my kids. I think next time well just make the drive up to Bavarian Inn or down to Sandusky.
We registered over the phone was told it was a beautiful hotel. The front desk person was unfriendly got to the room blood on the toilet seat went back to front desk she said no more rooms we check out without stayingThe place looked so empty and run down there were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot at 2 in the morning i am quite sure there were more rooms but would not wanted one . never again will i book over the phone
Hotel and rooms need renovations. The cleaning staff needs to be more efficient. Found juice pouches behind chairs and dry cake frosting on bed linens. Pulled up carpet in corners of rooms. Old chain locks on doors with the nails all most coming out. Exercise room had old equipment and looked like nobody been in it for years. No game room but only a few machines in the restaurant. I think the only reason someone would stay there is for the pool on the weekends because it is closed on the weekday. No premium stations and the direct tv service is terrible. Can be a great place if they would put some money into.
The room was very ordinary, small and dirty bathroom with no towels. The other guests were loud and obnoxious, yelling and cursing all day and night. The pool area was fantastic which is why Im not giving just one star. The lifeguards were extremely attentive and we had a blast.. just wish the hotel area and guests were classier. I feel like my daughters learned some new swear words.
Horrible place. Everything is dirty, broken and extremely out of date. The hair dryer smelled like it was burning and sounded like it was going to blow up. The bathroom sink dripped all night. The beds are miserable. Spring mattresses and every spring is broke. The coffee maker could never of been cleaned. The carpet was disgusting. The couch had cushions from another couch on it and it was stained and nasty. The door didnt shut right. I had to pull it really tight or it didnt latch. Which I didnt realize until I went to get something out of the car, and I noticed I had been in the room the whole time with the door ajar. There vending machine only had two bags of Doritos. Safety cones was up everywhere. I could literally go on and on.Its a conference center too. If the company I worked for booked that place, Id quit that day. There is a fine line between saving money and just not caring. I guarantee management does not stay there. They also require a deposit, incase you break or ruin something... But everything is already broke and stained, so thats a joke.On top of all that... The younger lady that checked me in that evening was very kind. But the older lady that checked me out the next morning was seriously the rudest person Ive ever came across and all I do is deal with people all day long. So thats saying a lot. She gave me a huge problem because I asked for a receipt. I use CLC so my company pays but I still have to keep my own records. For tax purposes and meal reimbursements. She couldnt understand that and made a huge scene. I like always stayed friendly and polite but she was just extremely angry. She finally gave me my receipt and literally flung it across the counter, right onto the floor.I stay at hotels at least 3 times a week and have been for many years. Its a part of my job. Ive NEVER wrote a negative hotel review before. So that should help you to understand how bad it really is.
The rates are way too high for what the hotel has to offer. We had three rooms in total. In one room an electrical outlet was broken off, the cable TV cut in and out and there was a stain on our bed linen. In another room the window was broken and open (it was 6 degrees outside) and we repaired it to stay closed. The arcade has about 20 machines, of which only a handful work. The only thing enjoyable was the pool and the restaurant. $219/night is ridiculous for this place. Would not recommend. Your money is best spent elsewhere.
No locks to secure the room doors. Supposed to be no smoking but all you smell is weed through out the halls. They put all the back people on the first floor. Bed skirts on the beds were dirty with cigerrett burns on them. Mini fridge was dirty. No towels in rooms conjuring room locks were broke rooms 191 193 spent 500 bucks. To make my daughters birthday was priceless but the stay at the sterling inn was a one star rating. They need to do deep cleaning on all the rooms on the first floor. And no the staff felt no sympathy and didnt try to fix the situation at all.
Horrible horrible, never ever again I do not recommend anyone stays here. I stayed there last weekend and the room I was in was dirty the chair cushion had food snack underneath look like someone was in the process of cleaning the room but stopped left cushion pulled out. Microwave handle was filthy. TV stand door hinges off when open fell on floor almost hitting my foot. Room door entry just raggedy had to force close and shut. Room for five to six people only had two face towels and two bath towels not enough towels adequate for stay. It also states that it has a hot-tub there is no hot tubs. ManagersTina Gibson and Alicia very disrespectful when spoke to them about room was told since they brought us 4 additional face towels and bath towels we was at our capacity for towels never heard that before. Wouldnt be surprised if these bumps on my kids leg is from bed bugs. Will be contacting health department and BBB.
The hotel is decent, could use some updates. Theyve done some since Ive been here a few years ago. The waterpark has not been updated whatsoever, but its functional. Price was pretty good, 2 bed room and 5 waterpark passes $250/night. Complimentary parking. Vending machines and drinks were decently priced as well. There wasnt any soap in the bathroom in the pool. There used to be an arcade above the pool, its not there right now.A lot of shopping and restaurants close by.Id come back for a quick getaway..
Staff were always friendly and rooms were generally clean. Bathtub shower curtain rod was pulled out of the wall and bit and there were a few other minor things with the room. It was nice to have a good sized fridge plus microwave in the room. Any kind of continental breakfast would have a been nice. The pool was a pay per use which made it more difficult to decide when to go. A flat charge for the number of days staying there would be nicer. There was certianky plenty of capacity in the pool area when we went. Overall a fairly decent place to stay while in that area.
So I took my children to this hotel this weekend and I have to say I was sadly disappointed. Its been a really long time since Ive been here and it use to be really nice. Go somewhere else. They charge to much money to have broken toilets. I had to rooms and both toilets didnt flush. The tubs were dirty. It felt slimy at the bottom of my feet and it look dirty. I checked in before I brought my children and decided to bring our own towels and face rags because theres looked old and stained. The doors were not secure. You had to close it several times to make sure it was closed. The handle on one of the doors had to be turned up instead of down to open the door so we struggled with that. The smell wasnt clean in the rooms. There staff lied to us on the phone and stated the waterpark was closed on Sunday that wasnt true. The waterpark itself had cracks on the pool floor it was rusted. It leaked from the ceiling it was rusted all through the park. Not everything worked right if it worked at all. The restrooms were very nasty. No towels for the guests to dry off. Luckily I brought my own. I was offered a free breakfast for my troubles with the rooms and it was pretty horrible. My kids wouldnt even eat it. Im so disappointed in the way the new owners have let this beautiful hotel just fall apart. I will not be back unless they upgrade and do this place a makeover. Take my advice and go elsewhere. The money spent here will make you made knowing you could have paid the same or less for a hotel that actually cares about its guest. Im out!!!
Not a good place to celebrate a wedding the banquet Hall is big but way too hot. Asked several times to get the air checked but nothing was ever done. Staff was rude did not even leave the food out for anyone to get a second plate after was paid for by the wedding party. Room was OK but the carpet was really dirty. Will not be going back! Not a good place
We had a welcome shower party of our son at Wyndham Gardens Sterling Heights on July 13th from 6 PM onwards. We had booked the hall through Karen and we will give her 5/5 to her. She was very helpful and was a great help throughout the booking process. But the day of the party one of the manager Abdul took over the responsibility and he literally messed up our party. He was hindering and being completely un-cooperative at each step. He was very rude and arrogant and not at all helpful. We were enjoying the party games and the dinner was going on the side which was started at 8:15 PM, and he came to us around 8:50 PM and told us that he will keep the dinner on only till 9:15 PM. We did tell him that no one mentioned to us about the time limits for the dinner, but he was rude and kept on saying that he will close the dinner at 9:15 PM. At that time, half of the guests were still playing games and hadn’t had the chance to have dinner. We literally had to beg him to extend the time till 9:45 PM. Also we were told that we can have the hall till 12 midnight and the guests were still dancing on the floor around 11. We had the DJ party on around that time. He came along with his helpers around 11:10 PM with the trash bags and cleaning stuff and started cleaning the hall even though there were still guests there enjoying the party. It was downright rude and that showed it to us that he wanted us to leave early.
I attended a wedding reception hall. The staff was kind, especially the bartender. He was very pleasant to deal with despite having a large line of people to serve (when the bar opened and when dinner was served) with little to no help. The food was honestly pretty mediocre in my opinion. It just seemed bland and boring buffet style banquet food, not something that I would hope to have at a wedding reception. The facility was also very clean, so nothing wrong there. Honestly as a guest for a banquet, the food is the only thing that brings my rating down.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed at! No working lights in the bathroom, we told the service desk twice, & my husband told a maintenance worker - who informed us that a work order was never put in. Also, no comforter for one of the beds. The hotel smells of smoke even though its marketed as being smoke free. There are water stains on the ceiling panels, the fire alarm system was not in working order during our stay, and the entire building simply needs to be updated & remodeled - its definitely showing its age!
We were there for a bridal shower. Banquet room and bridal shower perfect, the 2 hotel rooms we booked were run down. Shower curtain rods falling off. Toilet paper dispenser missing. No hair dryers. No irons. A/C very loud. Doors were scraped up. Bed skirt wrinkled. Door handle broken to room. Nicks and dents everywhere in building. And the fire alarm went off 11 times between 9:30pm and 2am in the morning, staff left despite knowing the alarm was broken with guests occupying the hotel. I was told at 2am, everyone went home but me. Found out the next day they shut the fire detection systems off.We will never stay here or reccomend this hotel again.
Do not stay at this hotel. It was the worst hotel ever. The lobby carpet was stained with bleach and dirty. Hall walls walls were nasty walls and doors. The bathroom fixtures were broken and in need of repairs. The bathroom door knob was falling off. The hotel needs to close down and upgraded if they ever would open again. The elevator walls and door had ice cream spilled on the walls and no one bothered to clean the walls for two days. I will never stay at any of these places again.
I am a mother of 3 and it was not a very awesome experience. My son was very truly excited because we surprised him with this trip for getting a fantastic report card. Once we got there we noticed in the lobby there was electrical tape covering holes in the ground, the staff sold us very expensive water park tickets just to find that only half the water park rides work !! !! My son was in tears because the chlorine is so strong on his eyes and his hair was like bacon about to crack off! A friend also informed me that the fire department is on the verge of closing this place down because they don’t have any fire alarms! The whole fire suppression is down ! I am appalled. If you are going to run a hotel, run it right.
I was in a bridal party this past weekend and our bride chose this hotel as a reference from her wedding coordinator. The issues with this hotel began several weeks ago during the wedding planning process. The hotel failed to mention to the bride that the shuttle service was included at no extra cost but ONLY if you reserve it at the time of reserving your block of rooms and ONLY if no one else has claimed it. After she called later to ask more about the shuttle she learned it had been booked. I called the hotel and explained how very important details were left out, she was misled, and one of the top reasons we chose this hotel was because of the shuttle service. Eventually I got to speak with a hotel sales manager and was offered a shuttle they had on reserve for a large fee. A disappointing experience all around. When we arrived, we were located at the end of a very long hotel. No luggage carts were available at this end and my husband had to walk from one end of the hotel to ours dragging one with him. The door into the hotel was broken leaving it completely unsecured. There was also a very large amount of ice with no salt all over the parking lot which made it difficult to deal with luggage and walk without falling. The hotel room was spacious, but we had issues with our door. It had to be lifted and pushed in order for the latch to catch and our door to be shut properly. After shutting it, you could still see through the crack out into the hall. This made it so that every noise could be heard at all times. The room was clean so that was nice. The worst part about the accommodations was that the staff showed a complete lack of care for our situation. A large bridal party and several out of town guests were hoping to share a floor with each other. The bride reserved 10 rooms to start and the manager told her to call back when she needed to add more. When we needed to add more they claimed that her 10 rooms were booked and there was nothing they could do. After complaining, they “found” rooms available and tried to double prices. Another disappointment was the fact that the pool was not included in the pricing! A 2 bed room should include 4 pool passes. Instead we had to pay an extra fee to use the pool. 5 star hotels don’t even do this! And it is hardly a “water park” to be charging guests extra for.We then learned very quickly that they sold the block of rooms we had reserved to other guests who were NOT in our bridal party or friends and family. Our rooms were split by random other guests, which was infuriating. We specifically requested to all be in the same area. Our reserved rooms were sold off to other people—who, by the way, were the worst we could’ve shared a floor with. Security had to be called for the noise level and door slamming that went on throughout the nights. Because our reserved rooms were given away, some guests chose an alternative hotel, and two bridesmaids were stuck on a different floor in an entirely different part of the hotel. What made this more difficult is that the elevator closer to the lobby and other side of the hotel was out of order. The ice machine was down, and when we ordered delivery they refused to come to the room which made us have to walk ALL the way to the lobby which was NOT a short walk. I do have to commend the room service that we ordered. They were prompt, courteous, and well priced. Upon leaving, we actually had another hotel guest approach us and warn us to not come back. She said her floor had bed bugs. Whether or not this is true, it says something about the hotel itself. For a complete stranger to approach us and warn us to find some place else to stay is baffling.I wrote a long and detailed review because I hope a manager or owner will see it. We paid over 300.00 for our stay and I’d say it was worth less than half that. This hotel is NOT worth staying at. Not for the price, not for the “water park” and not for a quick rest. Find some place else.
The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. Zero stars if possible. The staff was not willing to accommodate the fact that the sheets were never changed prior to checking in. All kinds of stains on the sheets, all kinds of hair in the bed , Long hair short hair, pubic hair. Mold on the sheets, bathroom door frame and floors. Stains on the furniture. Duct tape holding the window together. Toilet did not flush properly...backed up. I checked out the next morning hoping for some sort of credit on the room but was charged for 2 night instead. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!! I was charged $134!! Twice!!
Obviously new ownership compared to years past. Food was still good, but when family style service (table service) plates did not go all the way around the table serving everyone they were reluctant to bring out more food for the people that didnt get any, as though we were trying to get extra. Serving Staff are all Indian. Most were cordial and polite. Specific requests seemed to go unanswered. Dessert cupcakes were tasty and different, like caramel apple flavor and strawberry cheesecake flavor but cake was somewhat dry.
Worst hotel experience if my life. Paid for the jacuzzi suite and ended up with a ceiling that leaks above it. Called the front desk and was told to use the tub in the adjoining room instead! Left the door hanger in our sure for fresh towels and linens, only to come back and our door was not secure. A laptop was missing, as well as can from the table and my tablet was tampered with. Never stay here! The staff have no answers and pawn it iff in other staff members.
I was really super impressed with the quality of this hotel from the front Lounge area service, rooms, hallways, everything is just top-notch, really feels like you get what you pay for. I would highly suggest that anybody in the area that doesnt want to skimp out on their vacation or business stay go here and they will be well taken care of. It may cost a little bit more than some of the other hotels but the level of service and quality is definitely noticeable!
Prepare for a long, long review. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS HOTEL. If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. The lobby is beautiful. However, the rest of the hotel is not - details will be given later in this review. They DO NOT offer free breakfast for the price you pay. We stayed here from 6/12/19-6/13/19. After checking in & getting our keycards, we were told to drive to door #6. When we tried to use our cards to get in from the outside door, the card reader would not work. This was for everyone, not just with our keys. We had to keep the door propped open with a pizza box when we would go outside. Maintenance fixed the door shortly after we arrived but it worked for about an hour the entire duration of our stay. Getting into our room was difficult. The card reader worked when it wanted & when it would work, the door would get stuck. We would have to pull the door closed, swipe the card & push the door as hard as we could to hopefully get in, everytime by the way. We also had to get new keycards three different times. Walking into the room, it had 2 double beds, a leather arm chair w/an ottoman, a desk w/nice office chair & a big flat screen TV. The room had a mini fridge & microwave BUT the fridge wouldnt get cold & the microwave would not rotate, causing the food we made to not cook right. The room appeared clean BUT it wasnt. The bathroom was gross. There was black mold in the shower & the caulk around the base moldings were nasty brown stained. Just gross like nobody is doing what theyre supposed to. The tile in the bathroom was also cracked & coming up off the floor. The bathroom door couldnt close & if it did, was very hard to open. There were zip ties holding the shower curtain rod to the wall. There were ants in the bathroom & in one corner of the room. The beds were very comfortable but after sleeping in the beds that appeared clean, we noticed the stains on the comforters. The drapes had brown stains all over them. The window where the A/C unit was had black mold around it & other hotel patrons we spoke to complained about the same things in their rooms. PATRONS WE SPOKE TO HAD BED BUGS IN THEIR ROOMS!! (We found this out after we already checked out & spent the night!!) The hallways were disgusting, needed to be cleaned. There was trash overflowing out of the cans inside & outside the bulding. Had to ask for coffee 5 times & never received any. House keeping ran out of towels & could not give us any. They also seemed like they were just walking around doing nothing instead of tending to messes at hand. There was a dryer you could use for $1 to dry your towels. It didnt work & took our money. The vending machines would not give you the product you selected, you got something else. Now, the pool. The bottom of the pools & tiles on the edges are dirty. There is a lot of water damage in the ceilings of the pool area & there was exposed beams from the damage. Lots of tiles sticking up & broken, too. There was only ONE lifeguard on duty the morning of 6/13 watching over about 30+ children. On 6/12, around 9:30pm, the fire alarm suddenly went off for no reason & we were evacuated out of the pool. The alarm continued to go off TWELVE MORE TIMES throughout the night until 2:00am. They disabled the alarm system & posted warnings about not having fire alarms & to call 911 if there is a fire in the lobby but not the other parts of the hotel. Which is a huge liability & DANGEROUS. Management is a joke because there was NO management there the entire time to deal with these situations at hand. They would not comp ANYTHING to us for any of the inconveniences. But after the experience we had, we wouldnt want to use anything given to us anyway. Crossing our fingers we didnt bring bed bugs into our home after staying at this poor excuse of a hotel. Save your money, go somewhere else. We will never go here again. Major code violations, it needs to be inspected BADLY. Corporate will be called.
This is not a full service hotel. There is no bellhop, and the very young staff there is ill equipped handle a full hotel. They were told that my mother, who is 77 years old with replaced nears needed asome help and a room close to the front desk, no one helped her with her bags, and she was assigned to a room that takes more than 250 steps from the front desk. They are short staffed daily. The front desk crew had to change our sheets. The blackout blinds are not wide would to block early morning sun. The beds are worn at the tops and there is no variety of pillows to accommodate sleepers who cant handle hard, tall pillows. The televisions are on a weak satellite signal, so they blur about once a minute. The Internet is free, but it never stays on long enough to use it. The best part of our stay was Quinton, at the front desk, who tried to ease our woes, even though there was not much he could do, and the staff at the Loon River Cafe, specifically Monica, who was delightful.
Desk staff was friendly, I was impressed with how spacious the room was and comfortable too, for not paying an arm and a leg. Ended up now using the shower here but everything seemed to be very clean all around. Was woken up this morning by VERY loud pounding on the door and yelling from the housekeeper trying to get in. Ive stayed in a lot of hotels... this has never happened to me before. Now I dont know what this job entails entirely but just from my experience in past places, they usually knock a couple times and go housekeeping. And if there is no response or are asked for some time, they move on. This woman was YELLING so loud. I had to get up out of bed exhausted because she didnt even stop - just to tell her Im sleeping and to come back later. That was probably 8 or 9:00am. I fall back asleep and she does the same exact thing around 10:45 and I didnt bother to respond or get up again. She then proceeds to go checkout is at 11:00 and I had to muster up my energy to yell back my check out is at noon. Not to mention I heard her open my door as well. Maybe to be heard better but I was just kind of surprised they are allowed to do that when a guest is in a room... I wonder now if she would have come in if I didnt have the second chain lock done... It had to be 12:03 when Im in the process of putting my couple of bags on my arms and just making sure I didnt forget anything - like you should, and shes at the door again YELLING its noon. Thanks? It was the most unrelaxing and rude experience. I had to reply Im just about to leave as if I need to do that? Im the one paying money to stay here and have a good experience. That doesnt just mean a clean comfortable room. That means not waking someone up obnoxiously multiple times, with no information of what my actually check out time is. But even at that! Ive stayed at plenty on hotels where you arent bothered by the housekeeper so aggressively. And thats how I ended my experience. With an aggressive, pushy feeling. Very unprofessional and unsettling. Probably would have stayed here another night if it werent for this woman.
The rooms have rusted tubs... the arcade is gone...someone kept popping in the pool... and the jacuzzi was taped off. The staff looked unkempt, if you called housekeeping or any service it took 3 attempts, and the sense of hospitality was not there. Ive been before and the quality has went down tremendously. Purchased the room through priceline. They didnt want to honor the price because it was too cheap to include the water park . I wish I hadnt spent the money here but since I drove quite a way for my daughter I made the best of it but never again.
NEVER stay here again!!! I waited an 1hr 30m just to get fresh wash cloths & towels. When housekeeping knocked at the door she advised that someone else brings towels which was ironic to me. I even went down to the front desk to get them myself to help expedite the need and was still told to wait. They also ran out of towels at the water park twice. The guest capacity & parking lot wasnt even half full to be running out of anything. The water park felt like 65-70 degrees. It was cold inside & outside the water! We were locked out of the room which was a huge inconvenience. Crayon markings on the walls. Bleach stains on the carpet. All they offered was a $24 discount for my 2 nights stay. Never again bring my fam here.
Absolutely the worst hotel experience in a long time. It was not the cleanest looking place, but the rooms were good size and suitable for our needs. The facilities, however, were not the problem. We were there with my sons hockey team for a tournament. The first night, as we were walking down the hall toward the lobby to meet up with some of the other team parents, the security guard told us that the lobby was closed, the bar was closed, and if we walked outside of the building with the beers we were holding, then we could face a $500 fine... We didnt even have a chance to say Hi before we were told any of this. As we proceeded, we found that the lobby had no signs that said it was closed, but as soon as we stepped in, we were told we couldnt stay there and had to keep moving. At this moment we found that the bar (which the rent-a-cop had stated was closed) was, in fact, OPEN! By the way, if there is anything good about this sorry excuse for a hotel, is the bar!The next day, after my sons game, we came back to the hotel, and had agreed with other parents that we would meet at the lobby. The lobby was again CLOSED... there was a wedding in one of the hall-rooms, which I am sure was lovely, but I dont see a reason the lobby would be closed. When we questioned the same rent-a-cop about why we would not be able to gather in the lobby, he rudely said it was simply not open to guests. We called for the manager, who showed up with some guy in a bad suit and horrible hair who proceeded to tell us that when we entered into the agreement with the hotel, we had actually just rented A ROOM, and nothing else, and the use of the room was the only thing that we were entitled to. One of the parents started taking video of this ridiculous conversation with the manager, the security guard, and the guy with the horrible suit. At which point they called the police! Really? One of our parents left the hotel that night. The rest of us left a day earlier the next day.So what did we learn?1. It is not Best Western but WORST Western2. Best Western hires GOONS as security guards3. Management is as competent as a box of rocks4. Best Western does not pay employees enough to buy a decent suit... and get a decent haircut5. If you are into being insulted and demeaned by your hosts... Best Western Plus Sterling Inn is the place for you!
We went there to have a meeting about renting a space for a bridal shower. It was a nice location, had many different room sizes to make sure you got what you wanted. They did negotiate prices with us and came to a price we could agree upon. The only thing I noticed was a water stain on the ceiling with made we leary of the building.
Came for a small getaway. Though the line was a little lengthy due to spring break everyone was pleasant and professional. Checked entire room for creatures and it was pretty clean giving it wasnt the Ritz or Trump Towers. The water park for my sons was the best thing ever. There was no issues with children misbehaving or being rambunctious and it was a lot of them. Just great fun happening. Water park food bar had great friendly staff. Loon breakfast bar was ok. It could have used some toppings for the oatmeal ( a little brown sugar, cranberries and pecans wouldnt hurt 💋) All in all enjoyed my stay! Zero Complaints!
Unless you purchase your room through the hotel inside the lobby, the waterpark tickets and breakfast in the morning are not included. The book inside the room does not say that. Also, the manager I had my forst encounter with was very very rude! I had to order new sheets amd all because my daughter had gotten stuff on the bed. When I took the sheet off it was gross underneath. A very dorty mattress cover was atop another very dirty mattress cover and the bed was gross. When housekeepong showed up with clean stuff, she did not offer to put it on either. The towels were super small amd npt good quality. One of the rooms we stayed in smelled terribly of weed. When we went to eat for breakfast that we were paying for. We were there forever. They had 1 person doing all the work. She was our cook and waitress. She did a good job consodering but the wait was terrible. I will never stay here again and recommend the same to everyone.
Never stayed here. But got charged for one. Wyndham was less than helpful and basically told me “oh well”. They said I must have given someone my credit card # to use. Nope. They let someone fraudulently use our card. I guess they don’t check ID. They do not have my name or my husbands name anywhere in their system. But they allowed someone to use our credit card # to pay. I’ve disputed the charge with my bank, but the customer service agent at the establishment who basically told me it’s my fault and there is nothing that can do was terrible. Apparently they can’t look up what reservation used one of our card #’s. In this day & age there is a way to look up everything. I will tell everyone I come across about this situation and warn them about staying at any Wyndham. I wish negative stars was an option.
Wow what happened to this hotel? My first encounter when I walked in the hotel I was greeted by a young woman that thought it was okay to come to work and not comb her hair. After checking in, I walked into my room the air conditioner panel was completely off and on the floor of the hotel room. I go to the phone to call the front desk, it was completely disgusting and it didnt work. Im like no freaking way I just all this money to stay here over and this was my experience. No one offered me to change to another room, compensate me for my inconvenience, nor rectify the issue with the panel. The only thing housekeeping did was clean the nasty phone and told me to jiggle the cord to make it work. The pool kept going down due to maintenance issues. This was an absolute horrible stay for my family and I. Certainly has went down in quality but charging an arm and leg for these types of room.
We had a group rate for a wedding; making the reservation ended up being difficult because the receptionist did not know how to access the hotel block. The room was comfortable but guests were loudly shouting and swearing in the hall at all hours of the night. The bride and groom were placed in a room with an adjoining room next door (no privacy!) And their shower did not have a curtain. It took about 45 minutes for staff to bring up a curtain.
I was pleased with how accommodating the hotel staff was. Whatever you needed, they saw to you getting it. The staff comprised of young, eager and polite people. This group of young people made us proud. However, the management SUCKS! They say one thing but will do another! I had the misfortune of dealing with a male manager and he was rude! I wont patronize that hotel again.
The room was just OK however there were flies in the room, the AC unit did not cool the room very well and we were hot and uncomfortable at night. Also you could only close the small inside sheer curtain, not the big curtain so it was very bright in the room which made sleeping difficult. Overall not a horrible stay or anything but definitely not the best or value for what we paid. Oh and when booking online they advertise a water park however In the fine print apparently it’s only open thurs-sat.
The hotel is clean and spacious but the customer service is terrible. I was there recently holding interviews in a meeting room that cost $100 for the day. I asked for coffee 3 times and was never brought any. I waited at the front desk several times for over 5 minutes for someone to come out and greet me. I would not recommend this hotel for meetings or sleeping rooms.
Have not made it to the pool area yet, but the room is older and the entire hallway and room smell of water damage of some sort. The Front desk staff was very kind and courteous. And offered us another room that was thought to be of higher quality. And it was the same room as our first. We hope the pool facilities are worth the stay.Because if I was here, simply to SLEEP, I would check out upon entering my room. But Im optimistic the pool and facilities will make up for it. For the kids sake at least
Honestly, this place doesnt even deserve one star. When I called to get a room, for my sisters wedding, they wanted to charge me double the promised price. We were told that there was 10 rooms saved for the wedding and theyd all be together. There was a total of 7 rooms used ONLY because they told us all the rooms sold out. They ended up putting me at the opposite end of the building and two floors down. The hallways of the upper floors were disgusting. My door was broken. We asked for extra blankets and pillows and were told that they didnt have any extras. There was no towels at the water park.It costs $10 per person to go to the water park, even if youre staying overnight. With the terrible condition of the hotel, the water park shouldve been included. There are two separate parts to the water park. The one part (where the little ones play) was unsupervised.About 80% of the friends and family who stayed there for the wedding got EXTREMELY sick with respiratory issues.
Went to this location for our 12 year olds birthday party as it is a water park. We rented two rooms . My daughter, who is on a swim team and swims several times a week eyes were burned from the chlorine. Literaly was crying. The front desk said no biggie. It happens all the time. Half of the swimming rides were down and have been down. The fire alarms are down but dont worry, they have fire watchers! For real. They did not tell us that when selling the rooms. The shower/tub does not drain. The toilet needs flushed from inside the tank. The toilet is installed wrong and the front door is literaly notched so it can open since the toilet is installed wrong. Trim is falling off every where. I have never even posted a negative review. The life guards and snack shack staff are great. I have no idea why they are working there. You guys are great and can get a job anywhere. Rest of the staff sucks. Beware!!!
The worst. It is in need of repairs, upkeep and more. Theres a lingering smell of mold and/or old dirt. Customer service is poor. We had an event there and the kitchen staff had to be prompted to prepare food at the time it was supposed to be served. Coffee pot leaked all over the floor--they didnt have another to replace it. Bathrooms not kept clean. Theres more...but isnt that enough?
Very bad experience, booked the hotel mostly for the water park for my kids but when I arrived the management told us it was only opened Monday- Thursday and were leaving Friday. One of the nights they didnt even clean our room and they told us housekeeping went home but they would bring towels to our room- they never did and we ended up going to sleep the night before our flight without taking showers. Lobby was okay, fountain wasnt filled though so it made it look a little run down.
Staff was nice. Please wait until remodeling is over to come here. Most of outside doors are not secure. Elevators are broke. Ice machines do not work. Floors and walls of rooms are dirty. We have 2 rooms and the rooms where not comparable. One was outdated, heat did not work. The other was updated and tv did not work. Kids are just meddling around sitting on floors in hallways. The arcade was closed. Pool area had 2 sections closed. Places of hotel is freezing cold. This was very embarrassing and scary. It kinda felt like walking into the twilight zone for hotels. Again staff was nice.
This place is absolutely disgusting. (Possible bed bugs, too) The last time I went here was when I was 17, & it has definitely gone down hill. After I read the reviews Friday night, I tried to get a refund because everything everyone was saying was a sign not to go. No refund, and if you cancel, they will charge FULL amount. Beware, because they did not inform me of this. So I ended up going with my girls anyways Saturday night. They said my room was going to be 209, but it ended up being 220 when I got my key. So they lied about their prices. And let me tell you, this place is horrific. Decor is so outdated. The room smelled musty. There were open wires in the room. Cable reception was terrible. The lighting was awful. Their ice machine doesnt even work. And for the 200 youll probably pay, theres no continental breakfast. And the waterpark is something out of a horror film. They were right in the reviews. Its dimly lit, stinks of chlorine to the point you cant breathe, and the hot tub / jacuzzi are closed off... For reasons they wont tell you why! Theres caution tape surrounding it so it looks shady as all get out. I didnt even go swimming. They must not clean the rooms well either, because my friend found fruit loops in her bed. Gross! And the icing on the cake! I got bed bug bites the next day upon leaving. I wish I could post pictures... But I can tell you for a fact I was bit in their hotel. My friend was, too. I will never EVER go back. Absolutely dissapointed.
No stars for me. Dont waste your time or money! Took my son for his birthday he was so disappointed we both were in tears. The pool was dirty the hotel floors are dirty. The kids and I was sick for days from mold on the walls. The rooms are horrible half clean my door was broken meaning anyone could have walked in my room. During checkout I was overcharged 4x on my card. Called corporate to file a complaint and its been a week still havent received my 185.37 back. Do not trust them with your bank information. My card was being charged 3 days after I checked out for 4 different amounts. The staff is very unprofessional and the manager is rude and doesnt care about the guests concerns. She the manager told me it was my fault I was over charged. Im still confused the whole experience was an nightmare.
IF YOU USE BOOKING, YOUR BOOKING RATE WILL NOT INCLUDE ACCESS TO SPLASH PAD PER HOTEL. I booked this hotel specifically for splash pad. Also, there is NO POOL, only splash pad which is 3ft 6in all the way around. If I could, I would give this hotel 0 stars. Outside looked unkempt. Staff was unfriendly. Bathtub did not have hot water or drain. Room was for two adults and two children but we only received two towels. When we asked for additional towels it took 30 min to receive them. Fridge did not stay cold. Guest laundry washer and dryer did not work. Housekeeping came next day and brought additional towels but did not change garbage or remove dirty towels. The hotel emergency alarms went off three separate times in error. Our stay came to a close with a very strong odor of marijuana being emitted from the hall. Because of this I will NEVER STAY AT A WYNDHAM HOTEL AGAIN.
Outdated is an understatement. From the unnecessary hoops one has to jump to simply book a room (my customer service agent literally said ugh and hung up on me at my request to add another night to our existing reservation the extra night due to inclement weather)to the dark dingy rooms, shredded comforters, stuffing falling out everywhere, loss of signal for the teveision with the worst picture imaginable and dont get me started on the lack of sidewalk, parking lot maintenance, because there is none. A foot of snow and everyones stuck in the lot and falling outside the door. We were here for a pool tournament and received a discounted rate from the original $190 per night. $190??????? In what world does this shabby hotel deserve that rate!
By far the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. I was in a management position in the Hospitality industry for almost 20 years and never in a million years would I allow a customer to wait in a line up 50 people deep for almost 45 minutes just to check in.When it was finally my turn to check in I actually had some sympathy for the one and only person working the front desk. When I asked him who the GM is he replied me. You sir are the worst GM I have ever met. Im sure you will lose your job in the morning.
If you get the jacuzzi suite, be ready to catch the water from upstairs with a bucket. And when you complain about it, only expect them to take $100 off of a jacuzzi suite room even though you never got to enjoy the jacuzzi suite. we should have been charged the regular rate for a regular room because thats honestly all it was. Poor management, coupled with poor communication, couple with a stolen laptop in little to nothing done about it makes this experience in this hotel horrible and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Management had to be reminded who I was repeatedly after I repeatedly called you have my rate adjusted and track down my laptop that was stolen due to housekeeping leaving my door open, which is proven on security footage. Horrible excuse for a hotel!
Dont stay here ever! Staff went into our room without permission searching for a dog. We didnt have a dog. Our keys never worked. They sent other guests to our room twice. Food at the restaurant made us sick. Coin laundry took our money. Needs a remodel. Staff is horrible!
If I could give a negative star I would!! Absolutely dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. We checked in and went up to the room to find food on floor. Pee on toilet and brown stains on the white sheets and comforter. They were remodeling the floor we were on with no signs to direct people so had to walk down a hallway with ripped up carpet and stuff everywhere. When we were going to ask for a refund, the manager at the desk was super rude and made a snide comment about it not being their fault. Horrible service and staff.
Our stay at the Wyndham Gardens in Sterling Heights was awful. We were placed in multiple different rooms due to issues with each room including, but not limited to, black mold growing on the walls and ceiling, holes in the ceiling, water damage on the walls and ceilings, broken AC units, and leaking sinks. I noted the presence of an exterminator who stated they were there to spray for everything. The entire hotel smelled of cigarettes and the air was unbearably stale. Additionally the management staff I had interactions with were dismissive and rude. Under no circumstances will I ever stay in this or any other Wyndham hotel again.
I would give this place zero stars if I could! Terrible hotel management team. I was their two days before room service cleaned my room and brought fresh linens. The rooms are muggy and have a mold like odor due to the water park inside the hotel. On the final night hotel security kicked me out the lobby around 11:30 pm and threatened to cancel my reservations if I didnt comply. This was a all around bad experience.
Didnt even check in!Walked in verified my nightly rate, they changed! Why, you ask? Well they have a water park, which is why I specifically booked this hotel. IT WAS CLOSED! The rates change when it is open. The water park only opens Thursday-Saturday. Then the rate jumps 189.99 a night my original rate was 99.99quoted. Needless to say they were not accommodating to stick with the rate quoted. The hotel was clean bc no one was staying there. Called corporate and cancelled immediately.
The food at my cousin wedding was good. Everything else at this hotel sucks. They were remodeling. I got stuck on elevator House keeper stole my purse, headphones, and earrings. Im still waiting on a call back. Ursula the front desk lady that works midnights is rude and ghetto. Troy the manager tried to do the best he can with what he is given to work with. Trashy place. Ill let you know if I receive call about my items that were stolen out my room.
The floors and carpets were ratty and sorely neglected, while the air in the lobby and banquet hall reception area was thick with the odor of smoke. The odd layout at the front led to bottlenecking visitors trying to check in at the front desk, which appeared to be sorely understaffed. We had reserved a room for a wedding which was held in one of their ballrooms. When we went to our room, we were greeted on the other side of the door by an overpowering stench of cigarette smoke and garbage. This was one of the rooms that they had specially set aside for the wedding. We never even set out bags down, and instead turned around and cancelled our reservation immediately. We were told that the smell could be due to an entry door being by your room and it being just off the lobby and that theyre doing renovations, so that could be some of the other smells in your room. I hate to be that person, but no hotel room in Michigan should smell like fresh tobacco smoke, especially not after the 2009 smoking ban for restaurants and businesses. The banquet service was subpar, as well. While the food and decor get an 8/10, the table service we received was confusing at best and neglectful at worst. Our table asked our server for a pitcher of water, only to be ignored entirely. A guest should never have to get water for his own table, and several neighboring tables, but I found myself doing just that to ensure that other tables had water to drink. The assistant banquet manager, Ryan, however, was extremely helpful and went out of his way to right the mistakes wed received at the table. I spoke with him briefly to explain the frustrations our table had, and he said hed send of his best people (Brandon - also excellent, should be recognized) to help out.

2022-03-16Worst hotel in country. Blood on walls n sheets and very rude and very racist front desk helper talking about we’ll find something to your standards. Beyond disgusting service and hotel. Don’t stay here unless you want to catch a disease

2019-07-22If you are curious about this hotel please read this whole thing. If i could do no stars i would. I stayed here for a wedding (which was absolutely beautiful but not on the hotel’s part) and i have really nothing good to say about this hotel. The night before the wedding we found a bed bug in the room and when we confronted the front desk they didn’t act surprised at all. They did comp the room and upgrade to a suit but were not too friendly about it. No “higher up” employee helped with the wedding set up which we had to last minute change to inside due to weather. The food was so so. It seemed to be sitting out a while before being brought out for us to eat. A family member got kicked out for “being rude” when he just asked for some service while he watched 3 workers talk amongst themselves instead of helping him. We will never go back and i would advise you not to stay here.

2019-05-09We had a group stay here for a conference and 4 of us couldnt get in our rooms. You have to turn the door handle up, but they failed to tell us at the front desk. They also failed to tell us part of the third floor is in shambles. The third floor also smelled like vomit. One of our beds did not have a sheet and the mattress was stained yellow. If I had paid for the hotel and hadnt carpooled I would have left immediately. The lobby looks fine and most of the rooms are decent, but I question the cleanliness.

2020-05-11This hotel is a run down total disgusting place. the lobby was dirty and they had to pry the doors open for us to get in. The floor had so much dirt and grime and looked like it had never been swept in years. There were big yellow stains on the pillows, pubic hairs and pills in the bed. Toilet seat had poop stains all over bottom of it. the refrigerator had lunch meat in it that was a month old. The pot smoke was rolling every where. Look in Utica way better place.

2019-09-04My stay was pleasant. This place is in a great location and has an indoor water-park. I probably will not return because the rooms are below my standards for instance it was clear it had not been vacuumed since last patron. The coffee maker has an old pod from probably two guest prior. The trash had not been emptied. When I moved the ottoman there was trash stuck between the chairs. Front agent clerks were not that personable but Michelle did her job efficiently.

2018-09-22Just arrived and already not impressed. Im here for an event. Check in is at 4pm (which is late), but then when I arrived at 5pm, there were only 2 lines open at the registration desk. Not to mention there was a large group checking in, so there should have been more employees working! Once I get up to my room, it stinks. Get past that and the bathroom light isnt working. I called the front desk and the maintenance guy was running late and wouldnt be here until 6:30 (makes no sense--why would you have your maintenance guy arrive so late after check ins knowing that there may be some things that need to be addressed?!). Overall not impressed and will not be staying again. After calling 6 times for maintenance to come up and fix the bathroom light, he must’ve just wiggled the light because a couple hours later it was off again. I moved a lamp from the living room to the bathroom just to have some light to take a shower and brush my teeth.

2018-06-10The check-in and catered lunch for the conference were the highlight of my stay. The desk clerks were very nice. The elevator unfortunately smelled like urine. I asked several times for an extra blanket .. It took 3 requests to get one. The room was clean - however to get into the room I had to lean my shoulder into it to get it open. There was not very many choices for news. Fox News was glaringly absent. The dinner at the restaurant was barely edible. The final straw was printing a boarding pass. I was directed to the business centre, went to print my boarding pass and the printer said out of paper. I went back to the front desk only to have a stack of paper laid on the counter presumably assuming I would load the printer. I was able to figure out how to load the paper but to me it was poor customer service to expect the guest to do this.

2018-09-09We stayed the night here for our grandsons birthday. It was overall a terrible stay.... they were extremely busy and I believe had a full house.... people were screaming, kids running up and down the halls banging on the doors at 1am.... the room wasnt very clean, the towels smelt musty, there are tiles missing in the bathroom, the refrigerator does not work and is growing mold, the water park areas was not working correctly in some areas, slide shut down, sprayers not working, the lighting was terrible, the chlorine was so strong you could hardly breath. 2 hours before closing they closed to clean it for an hour.... However the Loon River was extremely accommodating and friendly! We arrived there at about 940pm and they were closing the kitchen but kept it open just for us!!! Our waitress was so sweet and helpful!! Thank you for your hospitality. You made our night not so terrible!!!

2018-08-20We stayed at the hotel for a wedding. The reception was also at the hotel in one of the banquet rooms. The reception was very nice and the food was delicious. The banquet room was way too hot. The staff had the temp set to 70 and refused to lower it. The outside weather was 90° & humid. However, the hotel itself looked terrible. Ceiling tiles were missing or brown with water spots and mold. Anywhere you looked the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The tub in our room was disgusting. It had yellow and brown scratch marks in it. It looked liked someone had to scrap something off of it and ended up scrapping it into the tub instead. Housekeeping did a terrible job cleaning our room prior to checking in. Our bathroom floor was sticky and dirty, the nightstand was dirty and the bathroom mirror was dirty. The front desk charged us the wrong rate. After the third time of going to the front desk to fix the room rate, they finally got it right. We will never stay their again.
